I recently got the Dyson airwrap complete long during Sephora’s VIB sale. I always wanted to try it but as I’m sure most of you know it’s super expensive 😬 However, this year I was like f*ck it, and got it as early Christmas present to myself 😉 And I ABSOLUTELY love it! 😍 This picture was literally taken 5 minutes ago, which was the very first time I used it. I’d definitely say it’s easy to use and self explanatory 😋 If you’re on the fence about it I say go for it! You won’t be disappointed ♥️ dyson - Airwrap Complete Styler-For Multiple Hair Types and Styles
Make up and hair haul
This is my second online purchase as of recent. I decided to go a little luxe. Here’s what I got and why! dyson - Airwrap Complete Styler-For Multiple Hair Types and Styles I purchased this after using a friends. I love how it’s a multipurpose tool. I can dry my hair like normal, I can curl my hair or I can even get my hair straight. I went ahead and decided that since it’s so many things in one and that it will last some time I could justify the price. VISEART - Petite Pro 4 Apricotine I purchased this because it honestly is just so pretty. It’s a perfect neutral that can go day or night. It’s perfect for travel! DIOR - Airflash Spray Foundation I work in the beauty industry and I hear so many great things about this foundation. I decided it’s time to just get it. I hope to do an update soon with my opinion on this. dermalogica - Special Cleansing Gel I purchased the mini cleansing gel so I can de some at home peels while working from home. I have so many dermalogica professional products that I want to take advantage of and use them. If there are other esthetician here that want to know what peel I’m doing I’ll make a post! NATASHA DENONA - Diamond & Blush Palette This is a beautiful product. I have yet to use it but in the pan it just glows. It was on sale too! My samples (that I didn’t choose) CHANEL - GABRIELLE CHANEL Eau de Parfum VIKTOR&ROLF - Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum
Can we talk retinol and redness real quick? Sometime in autumn I purchased these products. the REN Bio Retinoid Oil has been religiously used since. I am currently on a mini break while I test another oil, but more on that later. . Whats good: it contains natural occurring vitamin A and there is very little, if not zero skin irritation! (personally for me no irritation at all, no purging break outs, no flaking – NOTHING) I used it daily and saw a notable reduction in the appearance of fine lines, after a week. The key here is Bakuchiol a plant based retinol alternative, which mimics retinols anti-aging properties but is much gentler. Whats not so great: its an oil, so I can’t use other oils at the same time. Also I can’t say that it’s a lightweight oil - its somewhere in the middle between light and heavy, but it is absorbent on my skin. . Medik8 Eye retinoil TR eye serum – contains 0.1% retinol, and Vitamin E. The good: very easy application, its a light/thin oil not a serum. The bad: didn’t work for me. I was disappointed, as I expected big things. It made zeroooo difference to the fine lines around my eyes. I am much more into my recent eye cream. . Medik8 C-Tetra Eye a lightweight and fast absorbing oil, contains 100% stable Vitamin C and E. The good: I used it every am after cleansing, around my eye area. It acted almost as a primer and made the skin around my eyes quite smooth and bright very quickly. The bad: 7ml for £19 . Next REN global protection day cream –this one has been surprising. Whats good: I dont like heavy creams and this is on the heavy side (compared to lotions which is what I normally use for day) but I found it a perfect cushion for colder weather. It helps me with redness and irritation during winter months & after the gym following a sweaty workout and vigorous hard towel face mopping. My face loves and needs my towels SOFT. It feels nourishing, soothing and hydrating. It absorbs quickly and leaves no heavy residue. IMO its a less oily/glossy version of skin food by wileda. Whats bad: cant see myself using in hotter weather.
Dr. Jart Vital Hydra Solution mask
OMG! I will never have enough of this magical mask. It’s such a satisfying feeling when my skin is thirsty for water and it’s very soothing as well. I normally put it on for less than 10 min after toner and essence for a shot of deep hydration then go with the rest of my normal night routine.
Sheet mask is an instant solution
I don't use sheet masks often but sometimes they have good ingredients in their serum/essences and these sheet masks fit in there. Who doesn’t like the cooling, soothing feel of sheet masks? I do. But, I find sheet masks to be an extra unnecessary step in our skincare routine. It is most definitely an instant solution and not a long term one. Unless, you’re using the same sheet mask / serum it contains, everyday for weeks. Which I believe isn’t a feasible and an affordable option. Don’t forget the waste it creates! Well, if you have to use sheet masks or love the therapeutic experience, these sheet masks are a good option 😊⬇️ I got these Vital Hydra solution sheet mask by @drjart Dr. Jart+ - Dermask Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution and it was kindly gifted to me by @cherie . They sent me some more goodies in Cherie Creator box and this was one of the heaviest and luxurious items. This comes in a box which contain 5 sheets masks. Each sheet mask is heavy and has a lot of serum to cover your face. I really enjoyed using these as they instantly plumped my skin and it was looking hydrated. Their claims : These are made with fine cellulose fiber to help active ingredients penetrate deeply for ultimate hydration. It contains aquaxyl and xylitol to enhance moisture retention and strengthen the skin's barrier by preventing water loss. Oligo-hyaluronic acid and algae extract supports long-lasting moisturization and supports natural collagen synthesis to keep your skin looking and feeling hydrated and completely refreshed. My experience : This is super hydrating, more like you get instant plumpness and bounce to your skin. Although I didn't see any long time results with this apart from getting rid of dullness. Another mask I purchased to target dullness is @raelbeauty Vitamin C sheet masks Rael - Vitamin C Sheet Mask Rael - Vitamin C Sheet Mask I really loved the packaging of this one. This also comes in box of 5 sheet masks and each mask is heavy. These masks are made with brightening Pomegranate Fruit Extract, exfoliating Fig Fruit Extract, and age-defying Citrus Fruit Extract. I looked into ingredients list and these extracts are pretty low on the list. Although it has great humectants such as glycerin and Soldium hyaluronate in first three ingredients. It also has Niacinamide high on the list. I found these to be slightly brightening and hydrating. Another masks featured in this photo : @naiisinclondon Thirsty hand - Hand sheet masks (They're amazing ti hydrate dry hands) .INC. - Shine Bright Moisturising & Anti-Aging Hand Mask @avant Eye patches
Olaplex No. 0 & No. 3 Kit
I’m writing this while waiting to apply no. 3. I’ve used it before and it works wonders. I’m one of those people who cannot bleach her hair professionally or at home with mild or strong bleach slowly or quickly without severe damage. Possibly due to a genetic disease I have that effects collagen quality. I’ve only recently come to accept this fate and died my hair blue black... I’ll review that later (it didn’t go well. I have navy hair.) this product when used regularly (perhaps once a week) will hide any damage you have giving you soft and silky strong hair. But it does wear off without maintenance. So unlike the way it’s advertised it does not truly fix your hair but scientifically that’s impossible anyways. Hair is dead. Dead things can’t be healed when damaged but you can mask it. I know for some ladies that may not sound comforting. But look around you. How many ladies do you know with zero hair damage? If they blow dry, straighten, bleach, dye, style, etc. then they have damage. And they will use things to hide it just like this. And some ladies don’t have to do anything to get damage! They just get that unlucky! Would you rather shave your head? I have. And it was fun at first but hair growth takes years and you may not wanting to wait so long to get your hair length back healthy. I haven’t tried using the no. 0 alone. I always follow up with no. 3. This product was a gift from a professional hair stylist at a local old folks home where before covid hit i was a volunteer as my mom worked there. Being in wheelchair doesn’t have to stop you from “working.” But it does stop people from being willing to officially hire you. Having hair at the very least look pretty is very important to my self esteem as well as many other ladies. If my hair looks bad then I feel like all of me looks bad and go out feels like humiliating. So rest assured this product works with no side effects in my experience. You need to saturate your hair in no.0 then leave it for 10 minutes then apple no. 3 generously abd wait another 10 minutes minimum. You can use it overnight hair but wear a cap because if it gets in your eyes it’ll hurt and potentially blind you.
My favorites for before & after washing hair
There are multiple products here because this is a process to my soft hair lol. OLAPLEX - No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit I love this product and it’s a two step process. The first step you pour into the tips of your hair and then to the roots. You leave it on for 10 min then put the N3 into your hair and wait 10 min. You then do your normal shampoo and condition. OLAPLEX - Bond Repair Trial Kit I got all the minis but I used the shampoo and conditioner from this too and I do enjoy it and feel like it does what it’s supposed to do to your hair. I then use the N6 from this and apply it with the next product. OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil I use this product along with N6 & the next product to keep my ends and hair frizz free and it makes straightening my hair so silky. L'ORÉAL - Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Leave In Conditioner I use this product with the two products above and I basically mix them together and they make my hair soft and protected. All in all these products are my favorite and work amazing together to make my damaged hair look nicer. Especially since I have dyed my hair a lot it saved it. I definitely recommend this!
Hair Secret # 1
This Dynamic Duo has been my holy grail and has definitely been a game changer in my hair game . I’m never going to give this up and this duo will definitely stay in my hair routine . All you do is Apply # 0 to dry hair and let it sit for 10 minutes ( Do not rinse out ) and then you apply # 3 . . Let that sit for as little as 20 minutes or longer . Then you rinse and proceed with your shampoo. I feel this combo has literally strengthened my hair for the better . I will definitely recommend this duo to keep your hair game strong or to nurse your hair back to health from overprocessing , heat damage or dryness.
Battle of the amika masks
I have bleached hair and I recently got really serious about fixing the state of it (because 2020 has become the year of self care). I’ve tried everything from Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask to OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector and nothing really got along well with my dry, brittle ends. Soulfood was next to try on my list and when I mention it to my hair stylist she produced these and told me to give The Kure a try too since I was looking for something restoring. Let me just say- I am obsessed! I was hoping to try the smaller bottles and favour one over the other but to my surprise I want the jumbo tubs of both. I’ve seen a lot of talk around amika: - Soulfood Nourishing Mask so I’m not surprised that it was a godsend. It’s thick and buttery and leaves my hair super soft. It can be left on and used as a mask or it can be rinsed quickly as a daily conditioner. The only downside I found was that after using it as a mask it felt like a little bit oily (which is why I knocked a star off), but overall my hair was silky soft and my ends were less frayed. This almost makes your hair like a sheet of silk which might be weighing down if you have fine hair. amika: - The Kure Intense Repair Mask surprised me more than soulfood, I will say. I’ve seen it bouncing around here and it was always good but not the best. I thought this was a game changer for my hair personally. Unlike soulfood, this one is reco’d straight as a mask for weekly use. It’s suggested to leave it on for 10 mins or so but I like to do an hour or two (I’m working from home and I’m masking a LOT more simply because I can). This one rinses out so nicely and doesn’t leave any oily slick feeling. My hair is so soft and bouncy! It feels and looks so healthy and due to its repairing abilities I know my hair not only looks healthier but is actually healthier. I can go days with a blowout that still moves freely and isn’t frizzy, dry or weighed down. I’ve already ordered a larger size of the Kure and I’ll be doing the same with soulfood after the mini I got in my amika: - Brooklyn Hustle Haircare Bestsellers Starter Set is gone (I’m going to do a review for amika: - Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo as well) !

Virtue Labs Healing Oil & SplitEnd Serum
VIRTUE - Virtue Split End Serum VIRTUE - Healing Oil Virtue Labs’ Healing Oil and Split End serum are my favorite duo to apply to my hair post shower! The healing oil is a lightweight but is transformative. It contains Virtue Alpha Keratin 60KU which helps mend any breakage or damage I may have. It leaves my hair feeling soft and adds a nice shine. I like to apply it on damp hair (as I did in the video) or a little bit after I style my hair. The split end serum (along with all other Virtue products I use) is truly the reason I rarely get split ends! I apply this a couple times a week on damp hair or before using heat on my hair. I straighten or wave my hair pretty often, so this is a must for me. It

We all should take care of our bodies and mind every day, but weekend is the best time for some extra. Today there will be my extra with masks from Thai brand 𝗦𝗨𝗗𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗔 Sudtana sources unique, quality ingredients from all over Thailand. All products are 100% natural, have no synthetic ingredients, chemicals or fillers. The brand also pledges to be cruelty-free and sources all ingredients from small farm holders who practice eco-friendly and sustainable farming methods. 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗢𝗫𝗜𝗙𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗞 is a blend of rice powder, turmeric, kaffir lime and mulberry and andrographis paniculata leaves, potassium alloy (that’s all, nothing more). This mask has light natural scent, it deeply cleanses, removes all pollutants and detoxifies (I believe 🤦‍♀️) skin, polishes it and leaves skin soft and clean. It dries my skin a bit, as absolutely all powder masks, but I do add a droplet of face oil and this helps to prevent stripping. 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗧, 𝗖𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗧 &𝗮𝗺𝗽; 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗞 contains only mentioned ingredients. I use it as pre-wash treatment for few hours on my length only. It washes off quite easily, I need just a bit extra shampoo. And my hair looks more shiny, nourished and manageable. I need more time to see how it prevents ends splitting, but after using this mask they do look more moisturized.

VERB GHOST HAIR MASK 👻 Full disclosure: I’ve never really been a big hair mask person bc I’m impatient and find them difficult to incorporate. It always turns into an internal debate re: whether I should put it on before my shower, wait, rinse, and then shampoo, or use it in-shower, in place of my conditioner—which requires a major struggle to keep my hair out of the water in my tiny TINY shower for 5-7 minutes. Most of the time, doing *neither* wins out. Then, things changed: I got a SHOWER CAP (seems so obvious now), verbproducts dropped THIS mask, and suddenly, I was inspired! I’ve used it twice so far, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed. It’s got that classic citrus and wood 👻 scent that I love, and it does just as it claims to do: softens, nourishes, and defrizzes hair without weighing it down. My hair is more on the thin/fine side and gets gross relatively quickly, so anything that leaves behind residue and speeds that process is a no-go for me, but at the same time, my hair is color-treated and a little dry and damaged at the ends, so I need the hydration and nourishment. This mask delivers that perfect balance without heaviness! I even went without my go-to leave-in product last time (yesterday), just to see how it performed on its own (mostly—I always use Ghost Oil before blow-drying), and my hair felt so smooth and healthy without sacrificing that CLEAN feeling I love after washing. This product—like all Verb products—is formulated WITHOUT sulfates, parabens, and mineral oils, and is #crueltyfree. To note, the mask does contain silicone and fragrance. ]

Scalp revival Briogeo treatment
Scalp revival Briogeo treatment
Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Serum I‘ve used this after the exfoliating shampoo from the same line and they make the perfect pair. I don’t think this is a must, but it’s like a serum for your scalp which is so extra but I’m here for it. The consistency is quite thick, like a serum and I just use a couple of drops and apply them all over my scalp with my Fingers. It’s quite nice to give myself a massage that way. I find that it works well with the shampoo at removing my dead skin and this one just really soothes any drynes and itchiness. It doesn’t make my hair look oily and gross, which is what I was scared of. You only need a couple of drops for every application so this will last a while. Not a must but I love this and would recommend for anyone with dry or itchiness on your scalp!
