It has helped out with those hyperpigmentation spots as well! This is the only product that really helps those laugh lines on forehead.”

High end highlighter ?!
Claims - Dewy , plump, dreamy skin ! My experience - Wonderful highlighter for a awful lot of money 💰 I definitely love the scent and the cream gel texture, it’s totally cooling on the skin, nice and fresh 🥰! Mad props !! It did leave a nice glowy finish on the skin making it “seem” healthy But after washing the face off the moisturizing goodness all goes away ☹️! I expected it to work on my skin making it truly hydrated. But it was rather a cosmetic cream that worked on the surface and made it all seem very nice! While it did nothing.. This is one of those products that really wanted it to work.. But sadly this doesn’t work for me ! Maybe I should try their water gel cream instead ? What are your thoughts ? TATCHA-The Dewy Skin Cream
I have combination skin aka oily t-zone that’s fairly sensitive. I found this moisturizer on sale at Costco for $9.97, and I paid too much. I was really looking forward to trying this, however I wasn’t impressed at all. It had the consistency and feel of aloe, but it left my skin incredibly tacky to the touch. And despite it’s cold feel out of the jar it warms my face something terrible. So while it probably did hydrate my skin the cons just don’t make it worth it. I’m not a fan, and nope I sure won’t be repurchasing this.

products for: oily skin type
This is the new FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya !! It’s been really good so far for my oily skin spurts and it’s gonna be even better for the summer. I have combo skin right now, as well as acne prone. My undereyes, nose, and chin get super dry, while my cheeks and forehead are normal (not dry or oily.) I get breakouts around my mouth (hormonal and dairy hahah) and on my T zone mostly. Claims: — lightweight lasting hydration — clear pores — reduce shine Key ingredients: — moringa seed extract — moringa water — papaya extract — four types of hyaluronic acid for hydration — polyglutamic acid — This is oil-free and silicone-free — vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free My thoughts: — this is thicker than most gel moisturizers I’ve tried, but not as thick as a cream. Kind of a good middle ground. It leaves my skin kind of matte, not shiny at all, which is especially great for hot and humid weather. — smells kind of like their green clean, earthy, natural, pretty good actually! I don’t know if it has artificial fragrance, but they tend to use fragrance in their products, so I wouldn’t be surprised. — doesn’t clog my pores or take too long to sink in, my skin drinks it up fast and I can move on with my routine! It makes my skin pretty smooth and refines my pores so theyre not as highly noticeable. — not irritating, no redness or anything! The papaya extract is kind of exfoliating, but it’s so gentle that i don’t even notice. I didn’t think I would like any kind of exfoliant in my moisturizer, but this one has surprised me. — $38, but I would def repurchase, as this was gifted to me by the brand.

I’d rather get coal than stop using this oil control Clearing T-care cream. This cream helps with absorbing oil and soothes the skin. Contains witch hazel, tea tree and centella asiatica just a few of their ingredients. Great for oily or sensitive skin types The texture is a light white cream which absorbs quickly. Been using this cream for two weeks and actually been using it around my nose area where It gets oily . I do like this cream because it does help with oil control and would recommend this cream . Gentle Dry Skin Moisturizer
Kiehl's - Cactus Flower & "Tibetan Ginseng" Hydrating Mist I am in love with this product! This hydrating mist is by far one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used, it is infused with lavender, geranium, and rosemary essential oils. It’s two major ingredients are the cactus flower and the Tibetan Ginseng plant. Both known to store and lock in moisture, the cactus flower and Tibetan Ginseng infused hydrating mist leaves the skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. I usually combine this moisturizer with the Kiehl’s Herbal Conditioning Cleanser, and I have been very impressed with the results of my skin. I would recommend this product if you have dry skin, and are looking for a light-weight moisturizer that also caters to sensitive skin.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
