3 products I’m LOVING this week!!
I thought I’d step on here and give my 3 fav products as of right now! First up, elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I actually had this product recommended to me from my dermatologist! And... it’s amazing. I got the tinted version but there is a untinted one as well. At first I was nervous about the tint but actually really really like it! It blends well with my skin tone and adds a dewy light weight finish that I also look for in a product. I don’t wear foundation, but this almost feels like one. It adds a nice layer of light coverage! Lastly, it is really really good for your skin! As it says on the container, it has niacinamide and some other great ingredients so “calms and protects acne prone skin” Next we have, MAYBELLINE - Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush This has been a huge mainstay in my makeup routine! I love a good cream blush and this lives up to all my expectations. It’s dewy, bouncy, glowy, and has a beautiful pigment. I have in the shade “coral ember” which is a beachy coral! This product is great over makeup or alone, (I use it alone) I would say that a little goes a long way! And, this is a great dupe for Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek ColorOverall cheek heat is a really great product! Last but certainly not least... ESTĒE LAUDER - Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Now this actually isn’t a very popular product however it works wonders for me!! It is a very gentle but very effective eye makeup remover. (I use on the rest of my face too!) This removes even waterproof mascara which is good for me! Maybe I’ll do a post on my fav mascaras in the future 😉. For me, this is much better than GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover which I found leaves my eyes oily and took out some of my lashes 😬. But with estee’s, I never woke up with leftover mascara in the morning so it is very very effective!! Thank you so so much for reading!! Let me know what you think of these product down below! 😁

enhancing beautiful skin ✨
Loving the skin you are in is hard . As my skin cleared up throughout the last year ,I realized that I really like having a little makeup on : on my eyes ,on my cheek ,on my lips. I am experimenting with this no makeup makeup look and I had those glossier and colourpop products perfect for trying something that has become a little routine in the last few weeks 🙂: on the lips : First ,I apply COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Oil in the shade skinny dip,it really moisturize the lip and I put on top of that the COLOURPOP - Lip Tint Kit in the shade gimme s'more to add more color on the cheek: Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in the shade puff. I dab it and blend it with my fingers . I sometimes put a little on my eyes to act as a little pop of color in the crease on the eyes : I admit that it's not my favorite products because they are not the most pigmented and the shimmer can be messy ,but it's so easy to apply and be done in five seconds. I use two shades of the Glossier. - Lidstar Duo one in the shade fawn on the outer eye,it brings dimension and a grunginess to the look , and the shade moon on the lid and the inner corner for more brightness All our skin journeys are different and important. It is vital to share it and be proud of it because we are all beautiful . As long as you do it for you ,then you're proving how amazing you are ! tourlou 🪐
My Updated “No Makeup” Makeup Routine ✨
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 I’ve been trying to find the perfect no makeup makeup look lately and I think I finally found the right combination for complexion products to use. I’ve been on a hunt lately and have been trying to find the perfect tinted moisturizer, sheer foundation and a setting powder. I used Glossier Perfecting Tint in G7 all over my face and the Stretch Concealer in G8 for under the eyes. For cheeks, I used Glossier’s Cloud Paint and mixed Puff and Haze then set my fave with Becca Light Shifter finishing veil in Star Hugger. The result is a natural dewy finish. My skin looks like skin, but luminous. You can still see my imperfections such as acne scars, but my complexion is evened out. I am also glowing ✨ I think going for the cloud paint made me look even more “effortless” rather than using a powder blush. When I apply powder blush, you can see it sitting on top of my skin which is a huge sign that I’m wearing makeup. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you don’t want that when you’re going for the “I woke up like this” look. Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint Glossier. - Stretch Concealer Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color BECCA - Light Shifter Finishing Veil Setting Powder For my eyes, I used 3 eyeshadow shades. I used my Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette. I used Quoin all over my crease, Lumino on my lids and Soil as an eyeliner. On some days I leave my lids bare. I still do like to go heavy on the mascara. NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette For the lips, I like to keep it bare. I have extremely dry lips and I try not to put anything on them as much as possible. I just use Kosas - Kosasport Lipfueland a nude hydrating gloss. COLOURPOP - So Juicy Plumping Gloss I never knew that looking “naturally pretty” and “effortless” is actually so much work! It still took me a good 15 minutes to get this whole thing done What does your “no makeup” makeup routine look like? Xoxo, Francesca 💋
☁️glossier cloud paint☁️
I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I absolutely love Glossier products. While I’m not too fond of their skincare, I always have a backup bottle of their You perfume on standby incase I run out and have a slight obsession with their stretch concealer. With all that being said let me get to the reason we are here by reviewing the wildly popular cloud paint cream blush. ☁️☁️☁️☁️ I have Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in two shades, Storm, which is a dark rosy shade & Dusk. which is a peachy shade. The formulation is near perfect on these bad boys and they are way more pigmented than I ever expected. Just a little dab of this product goes a long way and has beautiful color payoff. My favorite shade for my skin tone is Dusk for sure. it leaves me with a nice flush without looking unnatural. I do have to say I have a harder time wearing Storm, only because it looks a bit too bold on my fair skin. It would look gorgeous on a deeper skin tone for sure! As for the formula, I’ve had no issues with breakouts while using this product, so for me it seems acne prone skin safe (however everyone’s skin is different, so don’t quote me on that). It’s long lasting and blends seamlessly into the skin for a very natural look. My only gripe with this product and why I gave it 4 stars is the tube, it always ends up dispensing too much product. This could just be me not being careful with my squeezing, but I always end up wasting quite a bit of product. This fact alone however is not enough to stop me from repurchasing in the future. I really do love the texture and look of this blush on the skin. If you were thinking about purchasing this product I would say go for it, just make sure you don’t squeeze the tube too hard! ☁️☁️☁️☁️ Are you obsessed with Glossier? Have you tried cloud paint for yourself yet?

LOVE Cloud Paint, can’t find a dupe
I typically try to find drugstore makeup unless I fall in love with a more expensive product. I LOOOOVEEE cloud paint so much and I have Storm and Dusk and have seriously considered buying all the shades! 2nd pic is my current LinkedIn picture, I always joke I credit Glossier Cloud paint for my look that day 😂 For me, Storm can be a bit dark so I save it for when I want to look more rosy or dress up a bit. Dusk is perfect for a more natural look because on me it’s almost light brownish/tan (but not on all skin tones). I’m currently torn between trying drugstore dupes or getting more from Glossier 🤪 Any drugstore recs out there?!

GLOSSIER CLOUD PAINT SWATCHES 😍
Hey guys! I decided to swatch the five cloud paints I own since I've been really into makeup lately. Here's a rundown of the Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color shades: Dusk - one of my two personal faves, since it adds a tan to my light skin because it's like a pinkish nude color. Beam - it's a really nice light orange/peach color and I love it! It's great if you have a pink undertone since it'll look more natural on your skin. Puff - it's such a pretty light pink and it's my other personal fave because it's just so pretty and it adds a nice glow to the cheeks. Haze - I'd describe it like a light berry color - it's similar to the berry balm dotcom color and I like how it's reddish and a rich color. Storm - the first cloud paint I ever got, since I thought all the shades wouldn't be pigmented, but turns out they're all pretty pigmented. This one's really good if you want a dark blush. Things I love about all of them: Easy to blend out Fun to put on Great packaging that makes sense Colors that suit every skin tone Portable and adorable That's all folks! Hope this helps anyone looking for which cloud paint(s) to pick or if you're just looking for aesthetic photos of swatches. I hope everyone has a great day! 💁🏼♀️

Hunting for the Glossier ☁️ 🎨 dupe - Part 1
I really like Glossier’s cloud paint. It’s a cult favourite and I’m 100% on board with the product. I always have two different colours on hand (currently Beam and Puff). But I wanted to see if there was a drugstore option because 1) this 🇨🇦 girl doesn’t love waiting for shipping and 2) because if I can save some money, why not. Enter, MAYBELLINE - Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush . This was the first cream blush that I tried and overall I liked it! But it’s not an exact dupe for Cloud Paint and I think there’s one main thing it’s lacking. Note: I wasn’t really looking for an exact colour match for either of the Cloud Paints I had. Moreso I was looking at the formula, price, amount of product and the overall effectiveness as a blush. The good: + Price! It’s like $7 depending on where you buy it. Which is less than half of Cloud Paint. + This shears out quite nicely onto the skin and provides a very very natural tint to the skin. If you like natural-looking makeup looks, this could be a winner for you! + Its a very lightweight formula which leaves a nice dewy finish to your cheeks. Nothing cakey about it. + Very easy to blend out onto your skin or on top of foundation. + This shade in particular, Nude Burn, is lovely and does look exactly like a very light sunburn, but in a good way. It looks like I got a very slight flush from being at the beach all day, when I’m all reality I’m sitting at home in front my computer all day... 🙃 + The tint did last all day for me! So it has some nice staying power. The not so good: - The texture is really interesting. At first it has a much more solid texture versus the liquid cloud paint. But then as you spread it out it shears out into more of a gel. And it shears out quite a bit. So for me, I’m quite pale, it gives me skin a nice, light tint to the skin and honestly it looks very nice and natural. BUT if you are looking for something with some more pigment like the Glossier Cloud paint, this one might not be for you. - Although you wouldn’t think it because of the size of the packaging, you get less product (8 ml versus 10ml) than Glossier’s Cloud Paint and I feel like since Cloud Paint is more pigmented you actually use less product. Worth it? For $7, I’m not mad! And honestly I have been liking this on my no makeup days. It provides a lovely natural tint. Will I repurchase? I honestly think I would opt for the other dupe I found over this one! That product is coming in part 2! Ps I still love cloud paint and will probably continue to purchase because I’m a sucker for the brand. But it’s nice to have another option :)
MAYBELLINE-Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush
Rosy Blushing Cheeks with Glossier
I heard many great things about the Glossier products and wanted to try them out for myself (and I’m glad I did!). This Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff gives you the most radiant naturally flushed cheeks. I actually bought this blush cloud paint in the Covent Garden pop up store in London, but you can find this online via the Glossier website. It cost me less than £15 and would say I can see this lasting a long time so it’s worth the investment. It comes in a variety of different shades (6 in total!). I was trying to decide between this one and the Beam (a soft peach colour). Eventually, I went for the shade in Puff because the colour is a natural cool pink colour that makes you literally look like you’ve just blushed! If you have a somewhat olive skin tone like me, you’ll definitely suit this! The colour is super romantic and leaves your cheeks flushed with a healthy dewy glow. A little goes a long way - just one drop is enough to cover my entire cheeks! Some blush creams can double up as a lipstick, but I would say that this blush cream is only pigmented enough for the cheeks as opposed to the lips. I prefer blush creams to blush powders because it’s a lot less obvious! It’s super lightweight and glides on the skin really comfortably, perfect for those no-makeup makeup days! The Glossier product comes with a squeeze tube so is super easy and hygenic to apply. I add a dab onto my cheeks and blend it out with my fingers. It’s small and travel friendly! Just pop this into your bag and take on the go with you. Have you tried any Glossier products lately? What are some of your favourites?
A Zoom Patient Encounter ft Glossier’s Niteshine
HONEST FEMME FINDS: It’s the end of the academic year which means our final series of mock-patient encounters. Only one more year until we start rotating through the hospitals (kind of glad I slipped through the COVID-19 mess)! During these patient encounters, patient actors interact with students through Zoom, and we do get graded on a scale of 1-5 how professional and clean we look! After a month of barely leaving the house and putting on makeup, I figured today was my perfect chance to try out my bulk order from Glossier. The play highlighter in Niteshine has been one of the few new products that’s stood out to me. Here are some of my thoughts. Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter Concentrate COLOR: ultra pigmented highlighter with heavy pink/rose undertones. A little pigmented for an everyday office look but adds a perfect amount of depth over a blurred MacBook webcam during a zoom call. Can easily make it an everyday highlighter if used lightly. APPLICATION: applicator looks like a lipgloss wand. I normally just use my finger, dab the tip and apply with my hands. The wand does come in handy if I want to line my nose or lower waterline. PRICE: I bought this in a set and on sale but it normally retails for $20 a piece, again like many glossier products, a bit pricey for the amount they give you (0.34 fl Oz). I’d say still worth it for how quickly it’s made it’s way into my light makeup routine! Before this, I solely used the NYX liquid illuminate for years and years.
