Let’s talk hyperpigmentation.
Cystic acne sucks. And I’ve been dealing with it for years. The journey and healing can seriously take months for just one blemish which is very, very frustrating. Even after the cyst finally flattens and your skin isn’t inflamed as ever, odds are you still have the hyperpigmentation and that can linger on your face for as long as it pleases if you don’t have a plan. The ingredients that have helped me the most are not salicylic acid and tretinoin like many people suggest. While I do use them, products containing those ingredients are not the ones that pull me through the seemingly never ending cycle of cystic acne breakouts. And they don’t target hyperpigmentation (which you should always start “pre-treating” when you have the breakout!) Always be on the look out these ingredients for fighting cystic breakouts and the hyperpigmentation they cause. You can find these in just about any skincare product but mostly cleaners, toners, and serums. Niacinamide Licorice Root Kojic Acid Lactic Acid Vitamin C Tranexamic Acid These are my tried and true texture renewing, hyperpigmentation, and cystic acne blasting products. I’ve been through numerous bottles of each and I’m still going back for more, I simply can’t live without them! e.l.f. - Superclarify Cleanser TATA HARPER - Resurfacing Serum Freck BEAUTY - CACTUS WATER Heraux - Heraux Molecular Anti-Inflammaging Serum SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment #Hero Cosmetics - Lightning Wand[products]#[FiveStars] Hit me up with ALL your cystic acne questions, reviews, and stories!!

Accutane Skincare Routine
See below for skincare routine I’m now on accutane been 1 month my doctor prescribed me 30mg for 4 weeks & after i have to take 60mg for 2 weeks but 1 week into my 60mg i have an appointment with my doctor & i have to do blood test before seeing my doctor. The first 2-3 weeks of 30mg i had back pain & my nose bled 1 once & my lips & eyes was getting dry. My nose skin & the side of my nose was so dry. Im now currently on 60mg it been 1 week now. im currently experimenting purging since my dose increased. I had one nose bleed & i think using humidifier really help because if i didn’t im sure i would have more nose bleed. Skincare routine My night time routine I wash my face CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser good for hydration After i use COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence i heard it’s good to heal acne scar & i used to use it before & i love it After i use The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Alpha Arbutin reduces the looks of spots and hyper-pigmentation & it’s really gentle & since it’s gentle it won’t irritate my skin while on accutane & since im dark skin I get hyperpigmentation super easily & this helps reduce it & it also contains hyaluronic acid which is good for hydration. For moisturizer i use 5 drop of The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil mixed with The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA BEST COMBO EVER for my face. My face stay hydrated & my nose skin & the side of my nose do not get dry at all everytime i wake up in the morning my face stay hydrated. I love it My morning routine It’s the same as my night routine i only add sunscreen at the end and the one im using is Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk SPF50+ PA++++[FiveStars] it’s a Japanese sunscreen BEST sunscreen ever it’s POC friendly so no white cast it’s a mix of chemicals & physical sunscreen & most importantly it’s FRAGRANCE-FREE which is super important while on accutane & i feel it’s rare to have fragrance free sunscreen with no white cast & it’s a moisturizing sunscreen so it helps my skin getting more hydration. For dry eyes I’m using SYSTANE® - COMPLETE LUBRICANT EYE DROP [FiveStars] For my dry lips i use Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant When i shower i use this BIODERMA - Atoderm Shower Oil it got fragrance but since it’s a wash off it’s ok i love it because my skin never feel dry after Im done showering. DON’T use it on your face only body. For body lotion i use Vaseline Clinical Care™ - Extremely Dry Skin Rescue Lotion [FiveStars] which is fragrance free i love it Or sometime i use this Vaseline® - Intensive Care® Problem Skin Therapy[FourStars]it’s thick but do the job & it’s fragrance free Let me know how is my skincare routine & sorry for the spelling mistakes French is my first language

Completely erase your deep wrinkles with this
I have struggled with harsh lines since my 20’s. The furrow line in my forehead is so pronounced I didn’t believe there was a skincare solution. I’ve switched my nighttime and daytime routine around three times since I started Cherie because of the knowledge I’ve gained from Cherie members and board certified dermatologist Dr.Dray. Here is what I do; Morning Routine 💙I rinse my face with water - DO NOT CLEANSE (I have an article on my page as to why you should not cleanse in the morning please check it out) 💜 AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) this product makes your skin smooth and brighten and it actually preps the skin to allow better absorption of the next product 💛Vitamin C serum is applied, vitamin c helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines 💚hyaluronic acid it plumps my skin up 🧡neutrogena hydro boost with spf 50. This is a water gel lotion with hyaluronic acid 🤍I finish with Avene moisturizing protecting lotion, this lotion I swear by it. It doesn’t claim to reduce fine lines but as soon as I put it on all my forehead wrinkles smooth right out. ➡️sometimes I add Vaseline to the sensitive areas of my face if I’m staying home the under eye where crows feet are and the furrow in my forehead. Doing this protects the skin barrier because it locks in the moisture from your products and slows down their absorption rate which means you benefit more from them. Nighttime routine 💛oil based cleanser. Oil based cleansers break up makeup, sunscreen and sebum more efficiently than regular gel cleansers 💙gel based cleanser next, it completely cleans the face from any left over oil cleanser ♥️ toner maybe twice - three times a week but not everyday as it’s winter the air is dry, toner can be even more drying 💚Retinoid serum comes next, but the face should be dry. 🧡Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of pores and fine line. 💜Vitamin E at the end of the day helps your skin barrier restore itself from the pollutants and uva and uvb exposure 🤎moisturizer is second to last on my routine, 💖last but not least in fact one of the most important things is SLUGGING! petroleum jelly is smeared on my face focused on the underlines where crows feet show, the furrow on my forehead - I don’t do my neck. I explained up above why this benefits you. ❇️so after 1 month of doing this my wrinkles have erased and my pores look great❇️ Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum Fourth Ray - Hyaluronic Hydra Duo Skincare Kit Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 Avene moisturizing cream DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum Vitamin E from TrueSkin Avene moisturizing cream Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original

Pure Vitamin C + peptides = glowing skin 😍
The vitamin C strength is only 10% in these ampoules, but it’s the perfect concentration when considering the other ingredients. The ampoule also contains hyaluronic acid, water, and peptides. There is no added fragrance; in fact, there is only 10 ingredients all together. Be warned: the smell isn’t pleasant. It’s bearable, but smells like stale vitamin capsules. There is enough in each ampoule for two uses, i.e. morning and night. Splurge for the 30 day pack to get more bang for your buck! My skin is brighter, tighter, and more moisturized overall. I like that it includes water to work alongside the hyaluronic acid so moisture is drawn into the skin instead of drying it out. Here’s the ingredient list & CosDNA profile for ingredient safety/acne concerns: AQUA / WATER / EAU • ASCORBIC ACID • BUTYLENE GLYCOL • DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL • GLYCERIN • SODIUM HYALURONATE • HYDROLYZED RICE PROTEIN • HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID • HYDROLYZED LUPINE PROTEIN • PENTYLENE GLYCOL http://cosdna.com/eng/cosmetic_2267486502.html VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules

Day one of Tretinoin 0.04%
I’m a special ed teacher of students with moderate intellectual disabilities. Currently doing both in person (hello maskne) and online teaching (aka stressssssss). Also my district told me 3 days ago I’m getting three new students so stress times ten!! I never used to get breakouts. They started probably my junior year of college, so four and a half years ago. I’ve always been conscious of skin care and my acne never got out of hand, I just could never get rid of the ever present 2-5 pimples on my face at all times. They definitely appear most around my period. Its definitely the worst it has ever been this year with a lot of added stress on top of wearing a mask all day long. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Over the last five years I’ve gotten on birth control, done proactiv, Curology, rodan + fields, differin, every benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid face wash or mask out there, I even drink a teaspoon of liquid chlorophyll every day to try and detox from within. I also drink at least 64 oz of water every day. I try to drink more, but as a teacher I don’t get many bathroom breaks. I’m beyond frustrated and feel like I just can’t get my face clear! I gave Differin a solid chance because I really thought that, since it used to be prescription only, it would work. After 4 months of using it, I feel like it did an okay job. I never really got big painful pimples, but I never really got those anyway and I was still getting the same amount of overall breakouts each month. I decided I need to try something stronger, but I didn’t want to have to go to the dermatologist. That’s when I found Rory! I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.04% with Azelaic Acid 0.8% and Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. It was $5 for my first bottle and will be $75 every 3 months from here on out. I got approved within a few hours and it arrived at my apartment in 2 days. I’m doing this post because I never actually take pictures to compare progress (because I’m so sick of never actually seeing any progress!!) and to try to wish for some good results finally! Here’s the rest of the routine that I’ll be doing: AM- LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ PM- VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm spectro - Jel Cleanser VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream Then I’ll do the Tretinoin last Wish me luck!!!

Help!
I have been trying to figure out the best way to take control of my skincare routine. My main concern is the texture of my skin, redness, blackheads on my nose, & large pores on my cheeks. I believe I have combination skin. It can’t often get oily or dry. I’d like any advice having to do with Cerave or The Ordinary. I currently am cleansing my face each morning & night with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I like this cleanser, but am wondering if I should try out some other Cerave facial cleansers for my skin. In the morning I use CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 In the evening I moisturize with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion Occasionally, I use the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution but I don’t think I have used it consistently enough & often enough to tell a difference. I’ve read that this is good for blackheads on your nose & to use it two nights a week. I have also used The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque but haven’t used it enough to notice a difference. I’d like to look into trying a few more products to help rejuvenate my skin & give my skin care routine a “facelift” 😉 Any advice or opinions would be wonderful. Thank you! Products I’d like to try include: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum I would like to introduce a retinol into my routine. CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream I often get dry under eyes, eye lids, & puffiness. The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I read this was good for textured skin & blackheads. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Thank you in advance! ✨

New and Improved Winter Routine
After a lot of trial and error, I think I’ve found a routine that works for me (at least for the time being). I am aware of the PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+controversy BUT I work from home and often don’t run errands until the evening when the sun has already set so I don’t mind continuing to use the product as a moisturizer and for light protection from the minimal rays that come in through my windows. When I do go out during the day, I layer with a second sunscreen. I really love the Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser but have been feeling slightly stripped lately after using it and since I was already running out of the Krave, I figured I’d try something new. I purchased the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser on somewhat of a whim at Sephora the other day. I have noticed that the creamier texture of the FAB cleanser works very well for my skin (at least during the winter months when I get incredibly dry) but kind of feel like the pearlescent look of it is a little gimmicky. I will likely alternate between the 2 cleansers depending on the time of year and how my skin is feeling. I alternate actives every night. My skin is extremely reactive and prone to irritation so I have to take things very slowly when introducing a new active to my routine. For now, I use the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum on night 1, the By Wishtrend - Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water on night 2, the DIFFERIN - 0.1% Adapalene Acne Treatment Gel Pump on night 3 and no active on night 4 before restarting the routine. I find that the night off really gives my skin a break. I’ve been using Differin for a while but have been a little disappointed in it lately so thought that it might be time to introduce a different retinol product and LOVE the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum so far. I started with once a week and did notice a little irritation the first few times I used it but that was expected. I think every 4th night is a good place that I can build on if I continue to see better results. I want to incorporate The Inkey List’s Q-10 serum because I have used it in the past and really liked it. I’m not sure where I could include it for the best results and least irritation. I really want to keep at least one night a week where I only use FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner and Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer after cleansing but am hesitant to layer products. Any suggestions? THIS MOISTURIZER!!! I was skeptical when I first saw this new line from Aveeno because I sometimes find that their products don’t perform as well as I expect. Their lotions often feel like they just sit on top of my skin instead of soaking in but Dr. Dray convinced me and I will be sticking with this one!

Super affordable and great quality! Medik8 - Clarifying Foam LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Ultra Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin Aesop - Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution The glycolic toning solution is a little harsh on sensitive or skin that’s angry and reactive and thus I only use this every other night and ensure I moisturise well and limit the actives! This ensures my skin doesn’t get too Irritated and I still achieve the clear/glowy results! Really great but quite harsh! Aesop mask Really enjoyable calming mask that visibly reduces my breakouts inflammation. You only need a little each time! Medik8 clarifying foam cleanser Super gentle yet effective cleanser, feels like nothing on the face however does a great cleanse! Refreshing feel. La Roche posay Super lightweight and extremely calming moisturiser amazing for irritated or sensitive skin! Super hydrating yet non oily and lightweight. Sits well on the skin and mixes well with various serums! Only complaint is the size (40ml)

FULL Gentle Hydrating Skincare Routine
This has kind of been the theme of my entire Cherie page since its creation, but I’ve been needing to really hydrate my skin more since the weather’s become colder. Having rosacea means I always need to do extra research on the products I try. So after some experimenting, trying a LOT of new products, and deciding to stick to some old favorites, this is the routine I’ve come up with for myself: AM Routine Cleanser - Inkey Oat Cleansing Balm: A recent switch for the winter. Leaves my skin feeling nourished and hydrated, but doesn’t tackle my acne very effectively. Might switch back to my old cleanser (Cosrx Good Morning Gel) and just use this when my skin is feeling tight/for double cleansing. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner: Another recent switch. This toner is so hydrating that I don’t need to use hydrating masks or overnight creams as frequently as I used to and it’s very calming. Serum - Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum: This is definitely worth the hype. My skin has been noticeably smooth since using it. Spot Treatment - TULA Go Away Acne: Uses benzoyl peroxide to work on acne which can interfere with rosacea, so I don’t use this on my cheeks but it works well in other areas. Not a repurchase for me. Eye Cream - Cetaphil Deep Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum: I said recently that eye cream doesn’t work for me, but I’m starting to get wrinkles under my eyes and thought it was important to kick up the hydration and attention. This one is quite gentle and pretty affordable. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion: Undefeated! If I need some extra hydration I’ll add a couple drops of Leo Oil and mix on my hand using my ring finger. Sunscreen - EltaMD SPF 46 on days with no makeup or ILIA Serum Skin Tint: Both are mineral sunscreens and unscented with protection in the 40s. PM Routine Cleanser - The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: ...and I’ll double cleanse with my old Cosrx Good Morning Gel if I wore makeup that day. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner Serum - Paula’s Choice CALM 1% BHA Lotion Exfoliant or 10% Azelaic Acid Booster: I like to alternate between these two serums. The BHA (salicylic acid) targets pores and redness. The Azelaic Acid Boost contains salicylic acid too, but is more effective at targeting rosacea specifically. Eye Cream - Veriphy 20/20 Eye Cream: Received this as a gift and I actually really like it! Contains ingredients like peptides, niacinamide, and cucumber extract. But it’s wildly expensive and I won’t be able to repurchase. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion + Astrologiens Leo Oil: At night I always combine these two if I’m not using my Naturium Sleeping Cream (2 pumps + 2 drops). I have individual reviews on a number of these products, so if you’re interested in learning more about something feel free to check those posts out or just ask a question here :) Most of these products are generally rosacea and sensitive skin safe. I have type 1 rosacea for reference.

Unpopular Opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️
I received this sunscreen absolutely free from Elta MD so thank you guys y’all are lovely for doing such awesome Giveaways. Now as for my thoughts. I was so excited to try this; it has amazing reviews and it has niacinamide in it so what’s not to love? Right? Wrong! This sunscreen pilled up so bad on my face. No matter what I put under it or didn’t put under it. Even upon reapplication it still pilled up. Now when I used this on my hands and body it was completely fine; no pilling. Just on my face did I have the issue. So I gave this to my mom to see if she has better success with it. If not it was a great hand and body sunscreen for me. It does go on white (when I saw the name I thought it would actually be clear, but no. The clear in the name refers to its skin clearing ingredients.) however, it works in without too much effort and didn’t sting around my eyes. I think this is in fact a great sunscreen it just didn’t work at all for me and my face. So I will move on to my next sunscreen.

My (Less Than Perfect) Morning Skincare Routine
My (Less Than Perfect) Morning Skincare Routine
First off, I love this gentle cleanser in the morning. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I’ve switched to a different cleanser for night just to help get the rest of my makeup off, but this is perfect for when I have sleepy skin. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser I’m not in love with this vitamin C serum. Granted, I haven’t been using this for too long, but I’m concerned with how long the effects might last in the bottle. On a positive note, the smell reminds me of Froot Loops! DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum I do love this moisturizer! It’s great for any skin type, but especially great for people with dry skin. There’s no scent or fragrance to it and it’s not overly priced! The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Honestly, I’ve used better sunscreens. With this, I need to wait a good 5-10 minutes after applying my moisturizer to apply this sunscreen. If I put it on too soon, it will pill up and roll off my skin, making my routine last much longer than it should. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Face & Body Melt in Sunscreen Milk SPF 60 Any suggestions would be appreciated! 💖

Tips for Retinoid-Induced Dryness! 💦
Tips for Retinoid-Induced Dryness! 💦
Disclaimer: Two studies have shown that this Purito sunscreen only contains 19 SPF. They have stopped selling them and are offering refunds to those that have bought the product in the past 6 months. I no longer use or recommend this product. Check out Krave - The Beet Shield if you are looking for an alternative! I recently began using prescribed Clindamycin gel and Tretinoin cream for my acne. I already had dry, sensitive skin so adding these products has amped up those issues. So how am I dealing with my dry, irritated skin? Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant This ointment is designed for dry, cracked, or irritated skin. It’s clinically proven to restore smooth, healthy skin. It contains petrolatum, which acts as a skin protectant. Other ingredients include: mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, panthenol, glycerin, and bisabolol. I mainly use this ointment on my lips, but I occasionally use it under my eyes and inside my nose if they are extra dry. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration This cream aims to help hydrated, parched skin, as well as temporarily relieve minor irritation and itching due to eczema and other conditions. It is safe for sensitive skin, and does not contain parabens, harsh chemicals, or colorants. Its star ingredients include: colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, ceramides, and squalane. Unfortunately it does contain eucalyptus oil, but the small amount doesn’t irritate my skin. I use this cream as my AM moisturizer. It is deeply hydrating and absorbs into the skin easily. My skin feels so soft and smooth thanks to this cream. It soothes my skin after applying the clindamycin gel and reduces irritation. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ This sunscreen is perfect for dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin. It contains hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and centella asiatica extract. With its 70% moisture base and 4 different types of essences, it works like a moisturizing cream. It provides SPF50+, PA++++ protection. I use this after the Ultra Repair Cream in the AM and then reapply 1-2 times throughout the day. It provides my skin with much-needed hydration and UV protection. It’s the perfect consistency and rubs onto my skin so easily, all without being sticky. It soothes and smoothes my skin! These are just some of the products that I use. My whole routine is aimed at hydrating my skin and reducing irritation. My AM routine includes: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser , PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner , PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum , Clindamycin gel, FAB Ultra Relief Cream, and Purito Centella Unscented Sunscreen. My PM routine includes the same products listed above minus the SPF and CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream for my moisturizer.

my morning skincare routine ✨
my morning skincare routine ✨
so i want to start out by sharing some information about my skin. i have quite sensitive skin that tends to be on the dry side. i feel bad saying this, but my skin is mostly clear thanks to genetics. but, that doesn’t mean i don’t put the work in to keep my skin clear!! i’ve tried out quite a few different products, but these are the ones that i find myself reaching for more often in the morning. cleanser in the morning, i like to use a gentle, hydrating cleanser. lately i’ve been using the Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser . it’s a nice cleanser, but i wouldn’t say it does much for my skin. more often than not though, i find myself coming back to the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser , which is so gentle and especially good for my dryer days. it always leaves my skin feeling soft once i wash it off. toner for toner, i’ve really been loving the PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner . it’s nothing special, just a milky toner that does a lovely job of adding extra hydration to my skin. i’ve been trying to cut down on my daily waste, so that means i’ve stopped purchasing cotton rounds. to apply, i just put a few drops into my palms and press it into my skin. serum my go-to has always been the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 . again, dry skin!! i just really love products that hydrate my skin. i just put a few drops on my fingers and gently pat it in. recently i’m trying out the NATURIUM - Vitamin C Complex Serum. i haven’t used it long enough to see an effect, but i’ll definitely post an update if i notice some results!! moisturizer it’s taken me wayyyy longer than necessary to find a moisturizer that doesn’t give me a reaction. i’ve tried quite a few that left my face bright red and burning, and i also have an issue with texture. i absolutely hate the way that creams feel on my skin. maybe i’m in the minority on this, but i am just not down with thick, rich, moisturizers. i really do prefer ones that are more of a watery gel-type. for the past six months, i’ve been using the CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly , and i really like it!! it’s fragrance-free, which is always a huge plus, and it does a good job of hydrating my skin. i usually apply one to two pumps on my face and neck. sunscreen ah yes, the most important part of the routine. i’m incredibly sensitive to the active ingredients in chemical sunscreens, so i have to make sure i’m using a mineral sunscreen. for the past year or so, i’ve been using the tarte - Guard 30 Vegan Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 . it leaves a bit of a white cast if i don’t rub it in enough, but other than that, i like this!! it always adds a bit of glowiness to my skin, which i am always here for!! thank you so much for reading!! 💗

Every rosacea skin should definitely see this
Every rosacea skin should definitely see this
I have rosacea skin for several years and I’ve tried numerous skincare products and cosmeceuticals. But my skin situation is not stable, it can get red, sensitive and with some spots occasionally. Last year I went to visit a famous doctor who is the top expert on the treatment for rosacea, and she recommended me to change all of my daily-routine products to very simple but efficient ones. after using these products for about half a year, my skin become stable and very smooth. I’d like share these products with you guys, (I spent a lot of money to get this recommendation lol, so plzzzzz read it and remember it!!!) I think it is suitable for all rosacea skin. And all of the products are pretty cheap and easy to buy. Morning🌝: 1. LAROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR H cleansing cream 2.NeoStrata redness neutralizing serum 3. SKINCEUTICALS sheer mineral uv defense SPF 50 (if you don’t like mineral texture you can change it, becuz to be honest it’s cannot fit the foundations and become too white on face, now I change it to HELIOCARE 360 gel oil-free, check the third pic, ;D) Night🌛: 1. LAROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR H cleansing cream 2. SESDERMA AZELAC moisturizing cream 3. Finacea (Azelaic acid) this kind of acid is really good for rosacea but you need to make sure you skin can tolerate it in advance. 4. SKINCEUTICALS redness neutralizer (if you think it’s a little bit heavy, you can still use NeoStrata redness neutralizing serum) It’s the all the products I use as daily routine, very simple, but really useful to cure the rosacea.

🧼 SKINCEUTICALS - Simply Clean Gel My all time favourite cleanser! Great for sensitive skin and removes all dirt and makeup easily. I use this with my silicone cleaning brush every morning and night but will double cleanse if I have a full face off make up to take off. The formula is gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin like some cleansers do. I will purchase over and over again! 🧴SKINCEUTICALS - Emollience Rich and creamy - a good staple moisturiser! I use this every morning and it sinks so well into my skin, leaving no sticky or oily residue. I have combination to dry skin and with some of the other stripping products I use, I need an effective daily moisturiser. This one really hydrates my skin and is lightweight so it doesn’t feel heavy on the face. Works really good under my make up also! The price point however is steep and looses a star for that as it’s not that affordable. 🧫 SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 1.0 Love Love Love this product. This hands down is my holy grail retinol and I will never change to another! For new retinol users, definitely start on the lower percentages of retinol as this one is the highest so you will need to build up a tolerance to it. I’ve used it for years and I credit my skins youthfulness to it! Really helps to erase fine lines and prevent wrinkles. I also find it helps to resurface my skin which fades any hyperpigmentation I have. Even though this is expensive it’s very well worth the price as a tube lasts you a good 6 months and that’s with using it every second night!

1. PAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser obsessed with this cleanser 2. BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Lotion P50 I have read a lot about the magic of this product, I think it works well but haven’t seen the amazing results people describe. Smell is strong but you get used to it 3. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster just started this AM/PM but like it so far, some acne scars have lessened 4. CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution don’t see any changes with incorporating the product, but the smell is fresh and the consistency is light 5. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster this is really helping clear my skin 6. Avène - Skin Recovery Cream I’ve tried thousands of moisturizers and this is my favorite. It goes on super light, soaks in quickly and has no smell. Highly recommend 7. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Face Sunscreen for Combination Skin SPF 60 usually sunscreens break me out but this one has been relatively innocuous. It also sets in rather quickly. Can sometimes leave a white-ish residue so need to blend in well
