Leave a comment under a CBE’s post under the topic “Ask Me Anything” if you want to ask a specific question!
Create a new post and tag a CBE in the post using the “@“ function! This can be helpful if you want to show the specific products you’re using, your skin/hair, or your routine!
If there is anything you are curious about and want to learn more about from a beauty professional, we encourage you to ask away 🤗

New in this!
New in this!
Hi, I’m new in this app and this is my concerns. I have light acne, dark spots, large pores and I don’t know how to start with new products on that with my skincare routine. I’ve been using the same products for the past few months, I do go to facials every once in a month cause I do have acne and that really helps to clear my skin. But I’ve been breaking out a lot in the past few weeks, it might be because of stress and depression (which that is the main problem why I got really bad acne 2 years ago). I just order bunch of new skin products that this app recommended. But I’m open to any new suggestions! 😌

What to expect your first facial
What to expect your first facial
Hey Babes! 👋🏼 If you’ve never had a professionally facial before, this post is for YOU, from a licensed Esti! ☺️ What’s a facial? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s a skin care treatment meant to rejuvenate, remove impurities and replenish your skin. They can be as basic 30 minutes or as long as 120 minutes, depending on how your treatment was customized. Facial benefits? 🤔 There are many! It’s therapeutic, minimizes skin conditions, promotes circulation, keeps the skin young, detoxes, relaxes facial muscles and much more. Consultation/Skin Analysis 🔍 This step is very important and your Esthetician should never skip this step! You’ll fill out a consent and consultation form with many questions like allergies, contraindications, current regimen, lifestyle and possibly food and water intake. This is when your esti plays detective 🕵️‍♂️ to figure out your skin type, goals and what’s causing any skin conditions. We legally cannot diagnose skin conditions, which is why we refer you to a Derm. This process can take 10-20 minutes and is very necessary in making sure we recommend the right products and facial treatment. ✔️ Facial time!! 😍🥰 Now the fun begins!! 👏🏻💆🏻‍♀️💆🏼‍♂️. Facial steps will vary per Esti, but every facial should include at least a double cleanse, exfoliation, mask, toner, moisturizer, serum and spf. Most places also do extractions, depending on what your skin needs. This process is very relaxing and you find yourself wanting more treatments afterwards. After your facial 👀 Your skin will be GLOWING AND BABY SOFT!! You will feel like a unicorn 🦄 that you are!!! 🤴🏻👸🏻 Your Esti will make product recommendations based on your skin type and goals and answer any questions you had about the service. They will also encourage you to rebook your next facial in 4-6 weeks. -Never feel pressured to buy or rebook- ‼️You might breakout. If you’ve never had a facial, this might happen and your Esti should warn you. It’s normal because the impurities in your skin are coming to the surface faster than usual and purging. OR, the products you are using right now don’t have any active ingredients, so your skin isn’t getting the love it needs. (Think of Washing your hands with water only VS soap) 😉 When you get a pro facial we use professional grade products that have a higher % of active ingredients, so the process is accelerated. 🥰 Hope this encourages you to schedule a treatment with your local Esthetician!! 💙💙 Xoxo, Blyssey #facial #cheriecreator #skincare

Hi guys, over the last week I’ve been noticing a jump in new followers. I’ve been seeing so many black followers too and I have to say my heart is so so happy. My main focus on joining Cherie is to review products that make me feel good and are natural if possible. However, I also want to make sure that the products I’m reviewing are not only good for my body but are also coming from a company that cares about my community. I know a lot of us have been seeing our favorite brands post “solidarity” pictures on Instagram, Twitter, etc. But their actual solidarity is shown through the diversity of the company, their product’s inclusivity, who they choose to represent them in terms of marketing, and what they do all year long. Not just when tragic things occur. I’ve been in a rough mental state lately. I think we can all agree this year has been pretty ass but I want to get back into putting some reviews out soon. I think Cherie is a wonderful platform that allows us to reach out to different people and share what works for our bodies. I hope you guys are doing alright amongst all the craziness and I hope to be posting soon!🤎🤎🤎 P.s. I have posts, links, and websites on mental health sources, black owned businesses to support, and anti-racism resources I’ve found through twitter and Instagram. If you’re interested in any of those, shoot me a message! :)
