SATURDAY SKIN - RISE + SHINE Purifying Cleanser
AROMATICA - Rose Absolute First Serum
MIZON - Snail Recovery Gel Cream
BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner
I was on accutane for 4 months in 2019, and I thought I found the cure for my acne. Unfortunately, I started breaking out again in February of 2020. My breakouts went back and forth, but either way they left me with more PIE (Post Inflammatory Erythema aka those RED/PINK marks leftover from acne) My skin was also insanely dry and painful!! Any face wash I used just burned and irritated my skin even more! I didn’t have a consistent skincare routine, so I turned to peachandlily.com to look for a Korean skincare routine that’s also cruelty free. I think I found my new go to routine! It’s pretty simple, but after only 2 weeks I am satisfied with the products so far. Of course they don’t create miracles, but I don’t have any current breakouts (which I’m surprised my skin didn’t purge), my skin is MUCH more hydrated, and I feel as though my PIE looks slightly lighter! I started with the Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser, then use the Banila Co Dear Hydration toner to help with my acne, follow it with the Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum, and finish it off with the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel! The Saturday Skin cleanser surprisingly leaves my skin moisturized! The Banila Co toner has peppermint extract to help calm acne. The Aromatica serum has niacinamide which is supposed to help calm acne and fade both PIE and hyperpigmentation. The Snail Recovery Gel has snail mucin to help calm acne and also moisturize with anti-aging effects! Overall I’m very satisfied with this new routine, and I will update in a month to see how my skin is doing!

chels33The Snail Recovery Gel is a lightweight yet hydrating moisturizer! It’s clear and has no scent to it so it’s great for sensitive skin. There’s hyaluronic acid in it so it’s very hydrating. It also has 74% snail extract which helps repair skin! That’s good for dark spots, wrinkles, and scarring! Snail Mucin also helps promote cell turnover, which is good for acne and anti-aging. So basically, if you want a hydrating yet light moisturizer for acne prone or aging skin, this is great! I’m SUPER picky about moisturizers and I love this! I’ve also tried more expensive moisturizers and they’d irritate my skin or wouldn’t do anything for hydration. It sells at peachandlilly but I’d recommend getting it from Amazon for slightly cheaper :) Also, a little goes a long way!

altered PM routine for sensitive & dry skin
The temperatures dropped below 70 this weekend and my sensitive, dry skin started freaking out! So I revamped my routine to cater to my skin’s reaction to the cooler weather. My skin has been responding really well to the changes so far. More smoothness and less flakiness for sure! ACURE - Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane we’re already part of my routine and then I subbed in DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil which is a great first cleanser but also kind of smells like olive oil... I’m also using BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner which is new my routine. I was previously using THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner which I tried due to all the hype but I’m also concerned that it’s an astringent that adding to my dry skin problem. I’m no the only one whose skin becomes drier in colder weather right?! Have you used any of these products before? What do you think about them?

Current skincare products ✨
Just wanted to share a few products that have been working really well for me to keep my skin clear, glowing, and hydrating. By the way the reason it says my "dark spots" are so high is because it's counting my freckles :( The toner I am using is BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner It is so light and really hydrates my skin. I find that whenever I use it my skin is much softer and much more dewy. EDIT- this has denatured alcohol as the 4th ingredient so I stopped using it. As a night cream I use ANDALOU NATURALS - 1000 Roses, Heavenly Night Cream for Sensitive If you were to pick any night cream, this one is AMAZING. It is so hydrating but light, and it soaks in quickly. Pairs great with the toner. For cleanser I use the basis - Sensitive Skin Bar It is so good. Not only does it get everything off, it also moisturizers and doesn't strip the skin of necessary natural oils. It's the best cleanser I've ever used. As a face mask that I use every 2 weeks, I use FACETORY - All About Balance Box for Combination Skin Masks. They are so hydrating and clear my skin right up!!! The only reason I give them 4 stars is because peel off face masks are not good for the planet. Tip: save the extra serum inside the mask package to put on your skin ! In the daytime I use ANDALOU NATURALS - Facial Lotion, 1000 Roses, Daily Shade, SPF 18, Sensitive . It’s so hydrating and soaks in easily, but never clogs my pores ! I love the SPF it has, too. In my eye area, I always use OLE HENRIKSEN - Total Truth Eye Creme SPF 15 The skin absorbs the amount of this product needed, you only need a little bit. It's not greasy. I will say it takes about 15 minutes to fully absorb, but it's worth it because it helps brighten your under eye area and leaves your eye area and brow bone smooth and healthy. It's very gentle and unscented as well. As my SPF, I am a huge fan of SKINCEUTICALS - Physical UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 30 It protects my skin very, very well and wears great under makeup. The price point is higher, but this is such a high quality sunscreen that it's 100% worth it. For acne, I use Neutrogena - On-the-Spot Acne Treatment Which works well on acne and is a pretty basic benzol peroxide treatment. For my lips, I use sun bum - Mineral Sunscreen Lip Balm SPF 30 If I could rate this 6 stars, I would. It keeps my lips moisturized and protected for hours after I apply it. I take this EVERYWHERE. If you made it down here, thanks for reading ! ! ly <3

Moonie Monday faves 🌙💖
I thing like a stack of Sailor Moon tapes and skincare! I’ve repurchased the SATURDAY SKIN - Waterfall Glacier Water Cream 3 times now (not at full price but on sale) and I love it. Gel-water creams are my favorite moisturizers because they work best for my oily skin. The SATURDAY SKIN - RISE + SHINE Purifying Cleanser is really nice; not too stripping with a light lemon scent. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask is a cult classic for a reason. My skin is glowy and radiant in the morning!

My Korean Skincare Routine for Acne and Marks❣️
I’ve struggled with acne for 8-9 years and have even tried accutane, yet I STILL struggle with acne! It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I think I finally found the right skincare routine for my dry and acne prone skin! All these products in the picture are cruelty free and are from Korean Skincare brands! For my skincare routine, I start with the Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser, then use the Banila Co Dear Hydration toner, follow it with the Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum, use the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel, then the Aromatica Rose Absolute Eye Cream, and finish it off with the Mizon A.C. Care Solution Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot treatment! Three times a week, I use the Femmue Gypsy Rose Calming Mask as well! I love the Saturday Skin cleanser because it doesn’t dry out my skin! Every other cleanser I’ve tried lately irritates my skin and strips it of its natural oils, leaving my skin dry and flakey! Not this one! I use the Banila Co toner because it has peppermint extract to help calm acne! This product does not dry out my skin either! The Aromatica serum has niacinamide to help calm acne and fade PIE (Post Inflammatory Erythema aka the RED/PINK marks leftover after a pimple). The Mizon Snail Gel has snail mucin to help with acne while also hydrating with anti-aging effects! My skin has definitely been more hydrated! I use the Aromatica Eye Cream under my eyes (obviously). I haven’t noticed a difference with my dark circles, but I mostly use it for extra hydration to prevent wrinkles. The Mizon Pink Spot treatment is to shrink any pimples! BUT GUESS WHAT!? I don’t have anymore pimples after 2 weeks! I barely even had any purging from these products which was super shocking. The Femmue mask is really nice because it doesn’t dry out my skin unlike a lot of other clay masks! I hope this helps anyone who is struggling with acne or PIE! Thoughts on Tula Skincare🧊
Thoughts on Tula Skincare🧊
Loving @Tula lately as this brand has some really interesting products to offer. And enjoyed this photo shoot with the vibrant bottles they have😍 💧I'll talk about the Acne foam cleanser TULA SKINCARE - Keep It Clear Acne Foam Cleanser first. I was avoiding acne face washes as my hormonal acne flared up in last two weeks and they tend to dry my skin out. I then started using this cleanser, at first it didn't seem to help me and also I thought this is exactly similar to all foam cleansers out there that are drying and stripping but this is different. If you're looking for a cleanser that won't strip your skin and won't make you purge badly, this is the one for you! 🌟 Ingredients breakfown: ✨Salicylic Acid: treats and prevents acne ✨Licorice & Azelaic Acid: help brighten the look of marks left by past blemishes ✨Probiotics & Tea Tree Oil: help calm the look of redness & inflammation ✨Ginger: helps soothe the skin 2% salicylic acid provides major acne-clearing power, while superfood licorice helps brighten the complexion. This is suitable for all skin types! 💧The Pro-Glycolic 10% resurfacing toner TULA SKINCARE - Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner is great for sensitive skin types. It gets the job done also while keeping the exfoliation at minimum and not irritating. It isn't my holy grail but I really enjoy using this toner. The consistency of this toner is like light serum than a liquidy toner. I take some on my palm and tap it in the skin. ✨Ingredients breakdown: ✨Pro-Glycolic Complex proprietary blend of 100% natural lactobacillus probiotics and 10% glycolic acid helps tone and exfoliate skin and removes excess oil and debris. ✨Natural Mushroom + Beet Extract is 400X more hydrating than hyaluronic acid alone. ✨Turmeric Extract is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce signs of inflammation. ✨Blueberry Extract natural anti-oxidant helps to fight free radical damage. Overall I like the brand, it’s effective 👍

I use to break out every time I washed my face but now I’ve been using a gel cleanser and a serum and my skin has never looked better. I mix my FAB moisturizer with the serum at night. In the morning I just wash with gel and apply serum by itself.VERSED - WASH IT OUT Gel Cleanser VERSED - HYDRATION STATION Booster With HA FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer

What is Beta Glucan and what does it do for your skin? Welllll, it's a large molecule made up of a bunch of sugar molecules, starch and cellulose bonded together. Studies have shown that it can help treat dermatitis, ezcema, wounds and burns. It essential helps boost your skin barrier, especially if it's compromised, and tells your skin to fight pathogens. It also deeply hydrates the skin and is 20% more hydrating then hyaluronic acid. With all that in mind I was so excited to give @jkosmmune_cosmetics line a try (and extra excited when I won their giveaway of almost their entire line)! I've used Beta Glucan in the past after receiving a DMK treatment - my skin healed sooo quickly from the treatment when using the serum with Beta Glucan. I've tried all of the products from the line, including the serum which isn't pictured and I purchased on my own, and have been loving them! The cleanser is surprising jumped up my list of favorites to the top! All the products are extremely hydrating, but not too hydrating that I get oily throughout the day. Have you tried the line or any other Beta Glucan products? What did you think? I've seen some great reviews for other brands that include the ingredient! Overall Rating: 4/5 - I've seen some mixed reviews on beta glucan and fungal acne, if that's a concern I'd be wary!

Birth Control Rebound Skin Savers
Birth Control Rebound Skin Savers
I resent it quit my birth control (the kyleena IUD) and my skin freaked out. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures but I started breaking out in hormonal acne and little bumps all over my chin and forehead. And here’s the routine that helped support my skin CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this product morning and night to gently cleanse. I’d like to give this more stars but I’ve only been using it for about a month and I’m still not COMPLETELY converted. I love how hydrating and gentle it feels on the skin, it doesn’t damage my skins moisture barrier and I never feel stripped and tight after cleansing. However it doesn’t seem like it would work very well to remove an oil cleanser and additionally I feel like I need to cleanse longer when my skin is oily but since I mostly break out due to dryness I like it. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin A classic holy grail for a reason. It’s super moisturizing, skin barrier friendly, doesn’t break me out and is just all around a great product. I use this morning and night The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this every 2-3 days at night time to exfoliate. It helps get rid of texture and dark spots and works very well, however; it causes a bit of a tingling/stinging sensation since my skin is super sensitive but it goes away within a minute. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Combats sensitivity, and inflammation and helps sooth redness which is amazing for healing breakouts. I will say I’m sure it’s doing it’s job but you won’t see any drastic overnight differences COSRX - Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion The BHA and centella asiatica extract in this are an amazing combination for any acne or blackheads. This changed the appearance of the bumps on my forehead and chin overnight. It’s super gentle and feels great on the skin. This is one of my favourite products COSRX - Master Patch Combo Just like the BHA toner this product is amazing especially because I have the awful habit of picking my skin. These draw out all the hung and impurities and blend into the skin so much better than I thought they would. They also have a bit of a blueing effect on the spot so it hides the angry redness and they are even great for day wear. These get rid on any problem spots practically over night. Kiehl's - Super Fluid Daily UV Defense SPF 50+ Sunscreen is nonnegotiable for me especially because I’m so prone to dark spots. This one is super lightweight and doesn’t smell like sunscreen which is great but I think it’s a little over priced. It’s still a great product though FOREO - LUNA mini 2 This cleansing brush is amazing. I’ve been using it for 4 years and It helps clean out your pores and leaves your looking super dewy and fresh

Today I wanted to talk about this set that Is great for fighting acne, specifically the cleanser! I was so glad to try this as I’ve been looking for a gentle cleanser to prevent breakouts but that wouldn’t dry out my skin. This definitely fit the bill perfectly and the moisturizer was also a great addition into my routine as the last step to moisturize but also mattify before makeup. The serum will be perfect to gently combat the hormonal breakouts I get as it also treats without drying. The next picture shows the color and texture of the cleanser. It is a light blue color with a very light weight gel texture. It did’t strip my skin at all! Lather did a great job with both of these formulas and I would recommend these to anyone with breakout prone skin! I love that it is also fragrance free and will not irritate sensitive skin either, as many products fragrance can be overpowering. All around this is a great set!

Game Changers! 💞As An Oily Skin, These Products Changed My Skin...
Game Changers! 💞As An Oily Skin, These Products Changed My Skin...
For oily skin like mine, it is SO important to use the right products and the right techniques to get the best results! Having kept this in mind over the years, I have narrowed down my TOP THREE favorite products, of all time, in a list especially for you! The first product I am going to credit, is the L'ORÉAL - Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser. It is very refreshing for the face and has a great soothing effect. I like it mainly because it contains Salicylic acid, which helps in dissolving the type of skin debris that clogs pores and causes acne. With oily skin, clogged pores are ever so common, and anyone with oily skin can attest to this. But fear not! This product is AMAZING because the Salicylic acid in this micellar water can directly dissolve the plugs and I can literally feel the change after just a couple of uses! My pores become smaller and my skin has a smoother texture overall! I am not lying when I say the texture of my skin completely changed after a month of using this product! The second product that I HAVE to highlight, is a good moisturizer. With oily skin, you might feel that a moisturizer is not necessary, but I’m here to tell you that you NEED to moisturize! This is because other cleansing and toning products meant for oily skin usually do more than necessary, especially if you have make up on and need more than one go to get it off, and strip away the necessary oils from the face. I like to use the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion as it moisturizes throughout the night and helps restore the protective skin barrier. It is also beneficial for acne prone skin. I’ve noticed that it completely removes all the smaller pimples and comedones and leaves my skin even all around. When I use this product, I KNOW that I will wake up the next morning with skin as soft as a baby’s! The last of my TOP 3, is a serum. I have been using ADVANCED CLINICALS - Tea Tree Oil! I use this serum on a clean face, then lock it in with a good moisturizer, which results in soft and beautiful skin. The oil is blended with Vitamin E Oil and Witch Hazel, both of which have worked miraculously for my skin. It took only about a week to reduce the redness and scarring on my skin, and now it has become a staple in my routine. If you have oily skin, I strongly recommend these products because they have been magical for me, and I’m sure that they will work well for you!
