I started doing my own nails to save money!💅🏻
I started doing my own nails to save money!💅🏻
I used to get my nails done almost every month! I had recently started getting Gel X done, which cost $60-$70 just for a plain color! (Gel X is sort of like putting fake nails on. There’s clear tips to put on with a special binder and then you paint the false nails with gel polish) As much as I loved my nail stylist and getting my nails done, I needed to figure out how to keep my nails looking cute without spending so much money! In December, I decided to try doing my own nails, and purchased the Kiara Sky Gel X kit. I definitely love the Kiara Sky gel polish, which have proven to me to be much better quality than the cheap gel polish I’ve tried from Amazon. However, I wasn’t a fan of the almond shaped Gel X tips from Kiara Sky. They didn’t cover my nail beds entirely due to the shape. I wasn’t a fan of Kiara Sky’s other shapes as well, so I ended up buying just the tips (in the short, natural round shape) from Apres. This is what I’m wearing in the picture! In the picture I’m wearing the I Pink You Anytime color from Kiara Sky. I found a website where I could buy the Kiara Sky gel polish for cheaper, and I stocked up on a bunch of different colors! So far I’ve been very happy with doing my nails at home, and I’ve found it to be easier than I expected. I’ve also saved a lot of money! The only downside in my opinion is having to take the Gel X nails off yourself. If you don’t feel comfortable taking off the nails yourself, I’d still recommend using the Kiara Sky gel on your natural nails, as that is not as difficult to take off. Hope this was a bit helpful for anyone who has been looking into doing their own nails! 💅🏻💞

3 Weeks Progress with my Rosacea Acne 🙌🏻
3 Weeks Progress with my Rosacea Acne 🙌🏻
So about 2 months ago, my skin started getting really bad again. My face was red, bumpy, and itchy! I’ve had itchy skin in the past from dryness, but not like this. That’s how I could tell it wasn’t regular acne. Thinking it’s a rash from starting a new job and having to wear masks more often, I started putting OTC cortisone cream on my face, which helped quite a bit. I then went to the dermatologist who said it’s rosacea acne. I’ve never dealt with rosacea before, so this was all new to me. At first I was prescribed a metronidazole gel, which made my skin worse. I consulted the dermatologist who told me to discontinue use and prescribed me a 2.5% hydrocortisone cream and a 15% azelaic acid cream for my skin. The pics posted are before and after 3 works on that combination! It’s helping tremendously with the itchiness and bumps. I’m still left with leftover red marks though, if anyone has any suggestions for that! Overall, I’d say if you’re struggling with rosacea acne in general or due to masks, here’s some tips I’ve learned: - make sure to use a hydrating cleanser - ceramide moisturizers are great for locking in moisture - don’t use products that will irritate your skin like products with alcohol - wear a cotton face mask (if your job allows)

BEST Hair Mask for ONLY $7!!
BEST Hair Mask for ONLY $7!!
If you have dry or coarse hair, especially if you’ve bleached your hair before, you NEED this hair mask. It’s only about $7 on Amazon and is AMAZING!! So amazing I have to spread the word!! Keep in mind, I’ve used high end hair masks like Olaplex and have paid $100+ for salon hair treatments and neither of them compare!! This mask is literally saving my bleached hair!! My hair is soooo soft now and smells amazing! I literally can’t stop touching my hair because I’m amazed by how smooth it feels. Before, I could barely brush my hair through because it was so brittle. Two times using this mask and it’s made such a difference already! I love this mask so much that I even bought the leave in conditioner on top of the shampoo and conditioner for the line!! But if anything, at least get this hair mask! It’s so much more affordable than Olaplex and way better as well. I really wish I had a before picture to show the difference, but trust me when I say my hair was a wreck before this mask!!Elizavecca - Cer-100 Collagen Coating Hair Protein Treatment

If I can do magnetic lashes, so can you! REVIEW✨
If I can do magnetic lashes, so can you! REVIEW✨
Let me start off by noting that I’m horrible with makeup! Especially eye makeup! I never wear eyeliner or fake lashes because I have shakey hands and can never get it right. I’ve been hearing more and more about magnetic lashes, but I never bothered to try them because of my problem with eyeliner. I finally decided to give them a go, and found some really affordable AND cruelty free magnetic lashes on Amazon by Luxillia! They were about $20 for 5 magnetic lashes, an eyelash applicator tool, and 2 tubes of magnetic eyeliner. I got them in the mail a few days ago, and tried them immediately. Today was the second day of trying them! My application was definitely flawed since I don’t know how to apply eyeliner, but the second time around was definitely easier than the first. And once I applied the eyeliner with 2 coats and waited a few minutes, applying the lashes were soooo easy!! I could never do eyelashes with normal glue lashes!! This was incredible, and I’m so excited to keep practicing so I can get better at applying the lashes. Would definitely recommend Luxillia! They’re a small company based on Amazon, so when I received the product, I also receive a slip letting me know I can email them for a free set of eyelashes since I’m within their first 500 customers! Let me know if you have any tips or tricks for magnetic lashes!! 💕 Luxillia - Magnetic Eyelashes with Eyeliner Kit

Why Thrive is my go-to Mascara! 🥰
Why Thrive is my go-to Mascara! 🥰
I’ve been using the Thrive mascara for a few months now and love it!! Here’s why!! I used to never wear mascara! Why? I’d ALWAYS get raccoon eyes!! No matter what mascara I tried! From drugstore brands to high end, I couldn’t find a mascara brand that wouldn’t smear under my eyes throughout the day. The main reason I tried Thrive was because I read their mascara doesn’t smear, and it doesn’t! My lashes look great when wearing this mascara! Thrive is cruelty free, which is important to me personally For every product purchased, Thrive “donates to help a woman thrive” Overall, I would definitely recommend this mascara!! It’s now my go-to mascara!! thrive causemetics - Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara™

Feeling Blue with Overtone 💙
Feeling Blue with Overtone 💙
A couple years ago, I had blue hair, and I LOVED it! So I decided to try and go back to blue! Blue hair can be a gamble, because if your blonde hair is too yellow, it can turn out green, so I was a little worried about doing my blue hair myself this time around. I went ahead and decided to take the risk, and I ordered Overtone’s Extreme Blue Color Conditioner, because I figured the dark blue color would go well with my naturally black roots. My hair before the blue was a pastel purple/pink, so I tried to take the color out using Color Oops color corrector. Key word, “tried”. My hair ended up being blonde with a tint of light green! This made me more nervous that the blue would turn up green as well. I hoped the blue would be dark enough to cover it well. Still going with the blue, I opened up my Overtone package I received today, and saw the 8 Oz size mask and a pair of gloves it came with. I put the gloves on and began to work the color conditioner into my dry hair (dry hair is supposed to work better for the color depositing). I’ve used normal OTC hair dye before, and had some struggles, as I’m definitely no professional! But using the Overtone was definitely easier because of the conditioning texture! I lathered it into my hair, and waited 15 minutes as instructed before I rinsed it out. Because my hair is on the shorter side, I had plenty of conditioner leftover, as pictured, so I can definitely use the mask a couple more times at least. The mask also has a light, peppermint smell, so it doesn’t smell like typical hair dyes! After the 15 minutes, I rinsed out my hair, and my first thought was “wow! This IS extremely blue!” I dried my hair and was astonished how different my hair looked after only 15 minutes! I’m excited to see how long the color lasts! The first picture posted has no filters on it, so the true color shines through in the sunlight! Overall, I’m happy with how my turned out! 💙OVERTONE - Blue Coloring Conditioner
