Emergency beauty treatments ✅ Hydrating ✅ Nourishing ✅ Soothing ✅ Replenishing These masks rescue our fatigued and sensitised skin by stress and external stressors LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask
light weight 💦- it’s GLORIOUS ( I use this under my make up as moisturiser during winter months). It spreads and absorbs beautifully on skin
lovely smell (‼️ fragrance in skincare can be irritating to some of you sweeties should you have eczema or history of allergic reactions to perfumes/deodorants)
💡 I use this mask twice every week as the last step after moisturiser during winter. In a warm weather, I apply this once weekly as mask or sometimes as my primary moisturiser. I refrigerate it as well - upon application, it bursts into a refreshing surge of cooling soothing hydration Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask
heavier and slightly sticky texture, compared to the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, but still lightweight. It has a translucent yellowish gel like consistency
delicate fresh herbal smell
💡I use this mask not as often I do Laneige, mostly after exfoliating or waxing my skin, or when my skin just feels blahhh 🙄 and dull. I keep this lovely sweetie in the fridge as well. Kiehl's - Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask
smooth creamy pistachio-coloured paste, a tad heaiver than a typical facial cream texture
delightful smell - minty orange scent
💡I use this mask every two weeks or so, as an overnight mask, to renew my unhealthy looking skin due to environmental aggressors. In a typical routine when I include this mask, I skip my mmoisturiser, and active serum; and apply this mask after toner. I use this mask more often during summer, to regulate my oily T-zone.

My skincare routine
NOTE: I have since updated my routine! New post coming soon A little background on my skin: I have struggled with acne seen I was a teenager. I’m now dealing with comedonal acne on my cheeks/ chin. I have combo skin that is quite dehydrated. I wanted to develop a skincare routine that would help with acne and textural irregularities, even my skin tone and give me glowing skin! So here it is! Let me know what you guys think! PM (daily): CLEANSE: I double cleanse starting with removing my makeup using LUSH - Ultrabland . It’s good at removing makeup but it is super thick and hard to get off so once I’m done with this tub I will probably try a different makeup removing cleanser. I then go in with either the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser or CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I keep one in the shower and one by my sink so whichever one is handy is the one I use. TONE: toner isn’t a necessary part of a skincare routine but I like the way Kiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner feels and it’s Hyram approved so I figure it can’t be doing any harm. TREAT: I have used a prescription retinoid (tretinoin) for the past year or so. Helps with acne and signs of aging. I then use The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 to hydrate my skin. I used to use this in the morning but I don’t love the way it feels under my makeup. MOISTURIZE: I use CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion which is great for hydration but even though it’s targeted for oily skin I feel like my skin is super oily after... so I might switch back to using Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream which feels really cool and calming on the skin and doesn’t leave me oily. AM(daily): Cleanse with one of the two cera ve cleansers listed above. Tone with the same toner. TREAT: I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and I absolutely love it. It has helped with controlling my oil production and it has so many other amazing benefits. If I’m feeling dry I will use Kiehl's - Hydro Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate which has glycerin. I will then moisturize with CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 . I will then use The Ordinary - High-Adherence Silicone Primer as a base for my makeup. Once a week (Sunday) I use The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque . My skin feels so smooth after. Twice a week in the PM (instead of tretinoin) I use The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA for mild exfoliation. Thoughts?

Summer Is For Cooling Masks! The Best One Is..😋😋😋
The weather is getting hotter and I'm really in need of a cooling mask, so I bought two types of soothing masks with rave reviews. I've been using them for more than a month and thought it was time write a review about them. fresh - Vitamin C Glow Face Mask Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask The Fresh mask is about twice as expensive as the one by Kiehl's. Scent: The Fresh mask has a citrus scent which is suitable for summer, but I prefer Kiehl's light calendula scent. Texture: The Fresh mask contains exfoliating particles which dissolve when mixed with water and rubbed. It also gently exfoliates and resurfaces the skin. The Kiehl's mask has a jelly, gel-like texture which focuses on soothing and hydrating. I suggest keeping these two masks in the fridge for a cooling and soothing sensation when they're applied on the skin. Results: I normally prefer using sheet masks as they offer more instant and obvious results. I use wash-off face masks only in summer, and I find that both Fresh and Kiehl's masks don't offer the instant effect that sheet masks offer. Fresh focuses on natural ingredients and is suitable for pregnant women and people with sensitive skin, but it can't be easily washed off. However, my skin feels very comfortable for the whole day after it's washed off, so I will definitely repurchase it. Kiehl's washes off more easily, and it's more suitable for repairing sunburned skin by applying a thick layer on. Calendula is great for calming and soothing skin. Normally I'll cleanse my skin, apply a thick layer of the mask, shower then wash it off before continuing with my follow-up skincare routine.

Try Before U Buy - I tried them so you don't have to...
I'm a huge fan of Kiehls so ordering this adorable set was a no brainer! There are a few uses in each jar so it was a great way to "try before you buy". This was a great set for the price. Kiehl's - Must-Have Mini Masks Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask I think it works just like aloe vera gel, moisturizing and relieving.  But it's a good choice with great natural ingredients for when you need an extra boost of hydration. You don't actually need a huge amount to cover your face and the perfect consistency can be absorbed quickly. It definitely soothes and hydrates, but I see no difference in my skin after that. Kiehl's - Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask I have really enjoyed using it !! It’s a powerful exfoliating mask, with the cranberry seeds providing the texture. It’s definitely a mask that kind of pulses and tightens when you apply it. After that, the skin color is levelled, the face looks much more rested and matte, but as if glowing from the inside. Highly Recommend!!! Kiehl's - Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask It has a dense gel texture of avocado color. It's not easy to spread because of the texture.  I usually apply it as sleep mask after Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask. Be careful not to use when you are exposed to the sun as it can burn your skin even after you removed it. Kiehl's - Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque The mask that most raved about. I notice a difference in blackheads and pores and texture after incorporating it into my skincare routine. But I suggest that you should use the mask once a month since it may sting your face sometimes. (product: Turmeric & Cranberry Seed ➡ Cilantro & Orange Extract OR  Rare Earth ➡Calendula & Aloe)

Which One Suits U Best?
I have the ance-prone skin and I'm always looking for masks that help reduce my breakouts and tighten pores. I found these masks work on me! I was advised to use the orange one  Kiehl's - Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Maskfor cleaning and exfoliating ( it contains cranberry seed), then the green one Kiehl's - Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Maskfor repairing, last come to the yellow Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Maskfor nourishing. I use them once a week and I feel it's working- my skin looked brighter and more radiant, breakouts less inflamed and reduced. Kiehl's - Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask After washing it off, I don't feel my face was too harsh. After 2-3 weeks using it, my skin looks brighter, my dark spots are fading. It is a little difficult to rinse out, but it is honestly just so worth it. Kiehl's - Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask The mask has a green color but turns translucent once you apply it to your face.  This texture is a bit sticky and has a strong smell. It works really well despite those things! Amazing product to help calm and soothe. Blemishes appeared reduced & less red after one application. Non-irritating or abrasive. I usually put it on an hour or two before bed, so it has time to dry and won't smudge overnight.  Kiehl's - Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask Also, the translucent yellow consistency is greasy. But this product is hydrating and soothing. It has a lovely smell from the calendula and aloe Vera. The texture is like jelly. This would be a nice mask to keep in the fridge for when your skin needs to be really soothed.

I’m so sad this popular product didn’t work...
This popular sleeping mask is everywhere. Sadly, it didn’t work for me. I’m not sure why, maybe I am allergic to an ingredient in it. Let me dive more into what’s in it and what it does. What’s in it: Huzuna Apricot Evening primrose ionized mineral water Then there are some strange ingredients: butylene glycol (alcohol) fragrance demethicone added color (blue) What it does: An overnight, moisture-recharging gel mask that quickly absorbs while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin. LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask This product breaks me out every time I use it. It could be from the ingredients that can cause acne and are irritants. I wouldn’t use this again personally because it also dried me out instead of doing what it’s supposed to. I’m so sad I didn’t like this because it seems to work for a lot of people! Let me know what you think :)

UNPOPULAR OPINION ROUND 3😲
So I’m back with another unpopular opinion! Today I wanted to talk about LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask . I feel like this mask has been hyped up by everyone! I love the lip masks from Laneige so I figured I’d love this as well. This mask goes for $25.00 for 2.3 oz, so it’s pretty affordable. It claims to recharge dehydrated skin leaving is soft and radiant. It uses Hydro Ionized Mineral Water to deliver moisture to skin. It’s also formulated with apricot, rose, orange flower and sandalwood, all of which promise different benefits. This mask claims to be useful for all skin types. Also, Laneige does not test on animals!❤️ The instructions say to apply this over your moisturizer and leave on overnight. Then, rinse off in the morning. I’ve used this product about 5 or 6 times, using it exactly as instructed and.......nothing☹️ I definitely didn’t wake up with my skin feeling more hydrated. I didn’t notice any radiance either. Now, I will say, I didn’t have any reaction to this or anything, so I do think it’s safe for all skin types. I don’t think this dried my skin out either, which is good. It just didn’t hydrate it at all. This product was just very “meh” to me. I won’t be repurchasing this. Have you tried this mask?

One of my all season favs and especially #vinnafallfavs is the Farmacy Honey Potion! If your skin is dry and needs that extra boost put this one for a few and let it work it’s magic! Honestly perfect for cold weather because it gets nice and warm. Also honey is great ingredient and the hydration it gives is amazing! Sometimes I’ll just wear this mask and not put anything else one afterward!FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask I am super impressed with the result of this mask👏🏻 I have combination acne prone skin with a little bit of redness & dry spots on cheeks. The medium to thick texture cream melts into skin so easily and smooth. It is a little too thick for my t zone during summer but it would work wonder during winter time. Overnight, I woke up next morning with plump hydrated skin! I had few dry patches but it improved a lot almost gone. Key ingredients include: Maqui, Vita C & Squalane. Squalane is one of my favorite ingredient on my combo skin. Also glass packaging is nice & heavy. I like it since I can upcycle the empty packaging for something else like little plants or hair pins. This mask is vegan, cruelty free & gluten free👍 #CherieCreator

It’s my birthday so I had a SUPER splurge day at Sephora! Bought a ton of things I’ve been dying to try, including these two masks which I am very excited to add to my mask rotation (I have one for every day of the week now!) GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping MaskIs my first intro to AHA in my regimen and I am a bit nervous about it but this one claims to be very hydrating and gently exfoliating, so we’ll see how my sensitive skin tolerates it! I figured a mask might be safer than a serum to test drive an acid, and I am much more of a mask person anyway. I don’t plan on using as a sleeping mask (at least not initially) until I know my face can take it. I am interested to see how my sensitive skin reacts! SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag MaskI am super excited about this mask! I am always seeking hydration and I’ve heard very good things about this mask, literally when I picked it up the checker at sephora was raving about it so it is certainly a very hyped product. I’m excited to see what results it gives me! These are both the smaller sizes, and the packaging is just adorable! Check in later to see if they’re worth the hype 🤗

I was so excited when i got this from @cherie yesterday. I had to dive right in. My cheeks get super red sometimes and last night happened to be one of those times. I applied this on a cleansed face and I timed how long it would take for my redness to go away. It literally took 175 seconds (about 3 min) for my redness to calm down and my cheeks to get cool again. Such an amazing experience. I love it! LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask

Say bye to redness ASAP :)
Say bye to redness ASAP :)
This overnight mask delivers moisture to help soothe redness and strengthen the skin barrier for healthier, less stressed skin. They use exclusive forest yeast extract in this product, which was shown to be more effective than madecassoside in tiger grass. Which is used in Dr.Jart+ products. (I love his products btw) My skin usually breaks out a tiny bit with new products but it didn’t with this. How I Use It After I use my moisturizer, I apply a nice even layer. I usually use it after of night of picking at my face 😔 because I ALWAYS get super red spots the next day. This actually really does help with that. After a pick sesh I put it on and the next day those red areas are either gone or barley there. (Stillllll don’t pick your face unless you know that baby is ready to pop) 😏 Key Ingredient: Fermented Forest Yeast ExtractLANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask
