Good molecules serums
Been using this bundle for a couple weeks and I have formed enough of a impression to review it. Hylauronic acid- so I don’t think I’m a hylauronic acid person, it makes my face produce more grease because it just looks weird during the day and at the end, but hey if you’re looking to try out hylauronic then this is definitely a good way to try it’s a great price point too! Like $8 I think around there. Overnight exfoliating treatment- now I love this one especially after I wear a mask for 8 hours it does make my skin smoother and a bit brighter but you can only use it 2-3x a week and I wear a mask so often I need to exfoliate everyday I use that mask or my skin breaks out. Definitely would love if I could use it more often during the week but this was amazing I did like it a lot, worked great and was only like $12. I liked this more then the farmacy honey glow exfoliator. Niacinamide serum- I barely noticed a difference using this. My pores looked the same, I did use it before I put a mask on for work and my acne went down a bit but not enough for me to consider using is all the time. Didn’t improve my texture or anything like that but if you’re looking to try out a niacinamide serum I recommend this one. Again super cheap and it’s better to try out things when they don’t cost a lot to see if you like it or not then buying a $50 one and finding out it doesn’t really do anything. Overall it was a good set- nice and cheap just didn’t work for my skin particularly

It’s Alright, Nothing Special
I bought this because it’s a super cheap hydrating serum, but... I went through this really quickly because I had to use so much of it. I had to use a whole dropper morning and night instead of the “couple of drops” that’s recommended. If you live in a dry climate I wouldn’t really recommend this because if there is no water in the air to pull from it will pull water from your skin. I especially wouldn’t recommend in the dry, cold winter. If you live in a humid area or some place with a higher temperature this would help add a little extra, light hydration. I’ve already repurchased my favorite hydrating serum, the Krave - Great Barrier Relief
Worth the hype? Best hyaluronic serum?
VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum It seems that everyone has been raving about this product and rightfully so. It is light weight and can easily incorporate into your day/ night skincare routine. This serum’s base is mineral rich volcanic water—89% to be exact, and contains “15 skin-loving minerals including iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese that work to moisturize skin, re-balance its pH, and protect against pollutants.” — Vichy Another bragging point, is that this product contains only 11 ingredients — clean, allergy tested, dermatologist tested , and Vegan. We all know what an amazing ingredient hyaluronic acid is for our skin—plumps and retain moisture. And this product does just that. It’s so simple and I would definitely recommend this for friends that have very sensitive skin. The only set back about this brand (in general) is that I’m not 100% sure of their cruelty free status. According to their site they do not test on animals but it seems that they currently sell/ market their products in China — which requires animal testing. Maybe this is old news? And if not, hopefully one day that’ll change. So I use it and love it with hesitation and I’m not sure if I would repurchase after I finish the bottle. Maybe I’ll change my mind- who knows. If that (cruelty-free status) is not a factor when you buy/ use cosmetics than go for it! It is $30 and it’s super accessible- available on Ulta*, CVS, Walgreens, Vichy.com, Skinstore.com. If you find yourself on a budget, get it at CVS. There’s always a sale and of course coupons. ** Ulta has them in 3 sizes. Here are some hyaluronic acid serums that are confirmed 🐰cruelty-free: THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Please share your favorites below. Mixing Lactic Acid with Niacinamide
Picking your Niacinamide: Choose products with at least four or five percent concentrations— which has been clinically proven to reduce pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles and acne and at five percent was found to improve redness and sallowness. Things to know when mixing Niacinamide and Lactic Acids: When you mix them together, the niacinamide will raise the pH of the acid; the higher the pH, the less the skin absorbs and the less effective the products. Another problem with mixing niacinamide and acid is that it can cause redness and flushing. Not a welcoming outcome when you’re trying to beautify your skin So how do you properly layer Niacinamide and Lactic acids? 1. Apply them at different point of the day Niacinamide is non acidic and can be used with other non acidic serums and lotions with little waiting/ absorption time. Include this water based treatment before oil based serums in the morning when you’re less likely to have time to wait. When using lactic acids it is usually recommended that you wait 5-30 minutes for the product to absorb into the skin before applying other serums and lotions— maybe this routine will better suit for night time or when you have more time to unwind. 2. Apply them 30 minutes apart This way, each product have time to absorb into the skin, give your skin time to return to its normal pH and allow each product to work at its intended pH. When layering products, start with products with the lower pH (acids), allow 30 minutes and follow with your higher pH serums like niacinamide. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This is a great beginners Niacinamide that will give you great results for little to no cost. I personally use this twice a day and I find it significantly reduces an inflammation and really help with my breakouts. Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰 Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Other niacinamide favs: Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum Thank you! 7 Wonders of Niacinamide🧪
Hi Ya-all! Let’s talk about Niacinamide - the most talked about ingredient! 💜 We all absolutely love this all-star ingredient, but do you know what Niacinamide can actually do for you? 🤷♀️ Let me first tell you what Niacinamide actually is... This multifunctional ingredient is a water-soluble💦derivative of Niacin or Vitamin B3 and studies have shown wonderful clinical benefits of Niacinamide when applied topically. 7 of the many wonders of this power ingredient are: Niacinamide... 1. Minimizes pores and regulates sebum production preventing your glands from going into override🧖♀️ 2. Hydrates💦and Strengthens💪🏻Skin Barriers; helping skin in retaining moisture. By doing so, this ingredient becomes beneficial for all skin types, even sensitive skin! 3. Reduces fine lines and wrinkles after prolonged use by increasing collagen synthesis! 4. Fights hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Studies have shown that using 5% niacinamide concentrations can be beneficial in lightening dark spots. 5. Protects skin from UV rays☀️ and off sets negative impact of pollution 😷 6. Increases toleration to retinoids🧪 7. Reduce inflammation and can help ease redness from Rosacea and Eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions Niacinamide can be used in the morning☀️with your vitamin C 🍋and Azaleic acid! I typically use it in the evening🌙 with my favorite retinol for synergistic benefits! Please remember, without SPF, all your efforts to fix skin issues will go down the drain. So Sunscreen is an absolute must every single day!!! (Read my post on Sunscreens to know the best sunscreens for all skin types) There are so many products that contain niacinamide in the market. I picked the ones that I’ve used and are easily available with great ingredients. Products shown in the post 1.The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 2. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum Be sure to look into how to layer your Niacinamide with other products in your skincare routine so you can determine where this gem fits best 🙌 #cheriepartner
Goodies from Good Molecules
I am sooo skeptical when trying out skin care products. I saw so many good reviews on this brand so I decided to try. I only been using these products for 3 weeks and I am shook!! They are really good products and they actual work. Let’s start off with my favorite product so far GOOD MOLECULES - Discoloration Correcting Serum My dark spots have faded soooo much. I can’t believe it’s not even a month and it’s doing the damn thing. I haven’t had a pimple n a few months after clearing my acne and once the pandemic began I have been getting maskne. I would say 1-3 pimples a month. I have been using this serum in my AM/PM routine and once my pimple heals there is no mark left behind. If you have a hyperpigmentation you will love this! It’s key ingredient cetyl tranexmate mesylate is what helps even out the skin. It also has niacinamide, and is fine to use with Vitamin C. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I been on a hunt for a good toner and I think this is the one!! This is a toner is sooooo good! It has vitamin C ,abrutin, and licorice root extract which helps brighten the skin. I think it works really well with the discoloration serum. Being that my dark spots have faded so much I know these two products will leave no dark spot behind 🙌🏼🙌🏼 GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder This is a very gentle exfoliator. It doesn’t irritate my skin in any way. After using my skin looks so nice and smooth and I see a glow. It truly brightens the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling dry. After using I follow up with the toner, then discoloration serum. This exfoliator can be used up to 4x a week and a little goes a long way. GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment This is a pretty good exfoliating treatment. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven’t used it much. I use tretinoin at night and it shouldn’t me mixed with this treatment. So I do try to use at least 1x a week. I can say its pretty good. It’s very gentle and does not leave my skin feeling dry or irritated. Have you guys used these products or anything from Good Molecules?? If so what have you tried and how do you like them?
Found a picture of my 1st skincare collection
I was going through my pictures this morning and I found the picture I took of the very first skincare products I ever bought. I had masks etc. before this but this was the very beginning!! The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I love this toner! It really does help with the texture of my skin and the price point is awesome with the amount you get! The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser When I first used this wash I really loved it! Now that I have tried many others, I don’t love it as much but it’s not the worst cleanser by any means. GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum This is a very great HA serum and another one at a great price point! The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I have seriously bad eye bags because I never sleep well, this serum does reduce them but I’ve recently found other products that are even better. My husband uses this for dark circles and there has been no difference. GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment This is a super gentle chemical exfoliator, if TO serum is too strong for you, give this one a try. You definitely wake up with much softer skin! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The cult favorite and I love it! It works and does everything it says! Definitely be safe with this one. No more than 2X a week. The Ordinary - Matrixyl* 10% + HA I cannot RAVE about this enough!!! This serum is the one that seriously reduced my deep forehead wrinkles. This is definitely one you should try if you are trying to reduce the appearance of yours! GOOD MOLECULES - Squalane Oil This is a perfect addition to your routine if you struggle with dry skin and are trying to use things that are anti-aging. Plus it’s amazing on lips too!! GOOD MOLECULES - Vitamin C Booster Powder I know there are mixed reviews on the do it yourself powders but I actually really love this one. As long as you mix it well into a water-based serum it’s awesome and you can skip a step in your routine. These are all really good products especially for a skincare beginner! If you have any questions about these let me know! ❤️
Textured skin who??
Brb drifting away into my fantasy of perfect skin with no texture. . Okay maybe that’s not realistic, but innbeautyproject’s Down to Tone toner gets me pretty close to a perfect complexion. This is a chemical exfoliating toner that works pretty damn well. After just a few days I noticed a huge difference in my little bumps and dark spots. innbeautyproject has an “Even out complex” in all of their products and from my experience it really works well. I couldn’t find this toner to tag it on here, but here’s my score and some other details about it. InnBeautyProject Down To Tone LIFE CHANGING TONER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) + helps minimize texture as a chemical exfoliant. + slight itchy/tingly feeling, but the usual that comes with chemical exfoliation. + beautiful packaging and easy to use pump for cotton round. + pretty quick results + brightens and evens out complexion. + 6-acid blend *phytic acid, malic acid, gluconolactone, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and citric acid work together to dissolve the look of rough, dull skin & blackheads, leaving you clear & radiant.* + also includes Niacinimide to help further with texture and pores. Better Pick: Physical or Chemical Exfoliation?
If you want to get rid of dullness and reveal your radiant, glowing skin, your best bet would be to exfoliate. But the thing is, there are two kinds of exfoliation, physical and chemical. Is there a difference in the effects? Which one should you try? Having tried both, I can say these two things with certainty: - There’s a big difference between the effects that I saw after doing both. - There is such a thing as too much exfoliation. Let’s talk about physical exfoliation first. Physical exfoliation refers to exfoliating your skin using products like scrubs and facial tools. With physical exfoliation, you’re literally stripping away the top layer of your skin that contains all the dead cells. Doing so reveals your fresh skin underneath. My first foray into exfoliation was me making use of physical exfoliators. In fact, when I was still in college, my favorite scrub was SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Strawberry Mask Wash Off It contained granules that would gently scrape my dead skin cells, making my skin feel soft and smooth afterward. Plus, the 100 ml tub which cost around $12 was big enough to last for the whole year already. Everything changed when I found out about chemical exfoliation. As its name suggests, the acids in chemical exfoliation help remove the outer layer of the skin. This means that if you do it right, there’s little to no physical damage that could possibly be done to your skin, unlike physical exfoliation. These days, I’m all for chemical exfoliation. Aside from my regular The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I also have another AHA essence COSRX - AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid Both TO’s Glycolic Acid Toner and COSRX’s AHA 7 Liquid costs $18 each for a 240ml bottle and a 100ml bottle respectively. I also use an over-the-counter 30% Glycolic Acid solution twice a month. Their effects may not be as instant as physical exfoliation, but I noticed that they’re more long-term. Back when I was still using a physical exfoliator, my skin would only look good for a few days after exfoliating, but with chemical exfoliators, my skin just looks better and better as time goes by. Remember, too much exfoliation isn’t good, and it can lead to breakouts, redness, and increased sensitivity. Whether you choose chemical or physical exfoliation, always keep in mind that you shouldn’t do it more than a few times per week!

Review : Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. Skin Type : Combination Skin This is not a sponsored review, I bought the product from my own pocket. 😃 First, I would like to thank @shofon.official because this is where I buy my Korean skincare products. 🔘I have chosen to try this toner because I watched and read many positive reviews from this product and the brand itself. So let’s get to this. 🔘Packaging wise it comes with a spray type bottle which I think so convenient because you can just spray it directly to your face. And the bottle is made from a very nice plastic material which you can bring anywhere, so handy. 🔘I have been using this toner as a part of my morning routine. This is my daily acid exfoliator, the product has ingredients mainly the AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) will exfoliate the outer surface of the skin and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) that penetrates the inner layer of the skin unclogging pores it has also antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties which prevent the skin from getting acne, and another benefit of this is it reduces the appearance of blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes. 🔘So far this product works well for me, I never had breakouts the moment i started using this. I noticed that when I apply it to areas that I have pimple it easily dries out. It doesn’t have any smell which is very good for me. It will not make your skin dry at all and it doesn’t have any sting sensation after applying this product. This is a very gentle toner 👍 🔘I also noticed that my skin looks much more brighter, some of the pigmentation is gone. But you need to have alot of patience before you see the results. Please be sure to use SPF when using in the morning! 💵Price point - it’s affordable. Final Verdict : ✔️I am definitely continue using this amazing product and will repurchase it ✔️I am very happy and satisfied with this amazing product and I want to recommend this to all who have the same skin type as mine ✔️Great for beginners because this is mild

FAVORITE EXFOLIATORS FOR DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN
Exfoliation: There are three different types of exfoliation - chemical, physical and enzyme. My favorites are chemical and physical. • • • 🤍 Chemical Exfoliation 🤍 • • • Chemical exfoliation uses AHAs and/or BHAs to loosen dead skin cells that buildup on your face without scrubbing or beads. I chemically exfoliate 2-3 times a week. • • • @theordinary Mandelic Acid ($6.80) - contains AHAs to hydrate the skin while removing dead skin cells. @kravebeauty Kale-Lalu-YaHa ($25) - contains glycolic acid which is also an AHA. @farmacybeauty Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Serum ($58) - contains 14% AHA and BHA to resurface and hydrate the skin overnight. • • • 🖤 Physical Exfoliation 🖤 • • • Physical exfoliation is going to physically remove dead skin cells off the face to brighten the skin. I physically exfoliate once a week, typically on my “Sunday” before the work week. • • • @neogen_official Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling ($27) - infused with green tea and glycolic acid (AHA) to hydrate and gently exfoliate the surface of your skin. @dermalogica Daily Microfoliant ($59) - includes salicylic acid and antioxidants that remove dead skin, help soothe your breakouts and leave your skin feeling super soft and clean. Once you add water, it turns into a paste like consistency. I love how it doesn’t leave any harsh tears in my skin.

dream toner for sensitive skin
Okay, so I’m obsessed with the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner - it was super generously sent to me from Beautylish ages ago, and I recently repurchased it because it’s such a favorite of mine This toner is meant to brighten the skin and visibly reduce the size of pores, but it’s also super gentle so it can be used daily. My skin is super sensitive so I always play it safe and use it maybe every other day, but I’ve never had a bad reaction to it. It’s especially great for any days where I’m dealing with acne or breakouts, so I think it would be good for most (if not all) skin types. This product contains both Niacinamide and a stable version of vitamin c, which are such power house ingredients. It’s a watery texture, and I’ve been using this for a few months and it’s definitely helped with brightening my skin and helping temporarily reduce the size of my pores. Again, i think it would definitely be suitable for other skin types, but it’s GREAT for sensitive skin in my experience. This will cost you about $14 for 4 oz, so it’s also super affordable
GOOD MOLECULES-Niacinamide Brightening Toner
Good Molecules - Niacinamide Toner
GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I love this toner so much! It was gifted to me & I’ve been using it at least 5 times a week since! Good Molecules is one of my favorite brands because of the ingredients + price. Ingredients — arubutin — licorice — vitamin c — antioxidants — niacinamide Claims — brighten and smooth skin — even skin tone — alcohol free — less visible pores My thoughts — $14 is a STEAL for this product, as it has helped my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation ! — I think it’s perfect for all skin types, and I have combo sensitive skin. — I have noticed less visible pores, but not as much as I do when I use other pore reducing toners. — Skin is overall brighter when I use this! I don’t use it all the time because I’m worried about using too much niacinamide. I know it’s safe for daily use but I also use other products with niacinamide. — non irritating on me but I have heard that some people experienced breakouts due to the licorice? — 4/5 only because I wish I saw more improvement!
