Peptide moisturizer drunk elephant dupe?
I’ve been trying to buy more affordable skincare products because really the things you put on your face shouldn’t be an extensive $1,000 10 step routine I think, that’s just how my skin is it doesn’t like a lot of products so I got this new Inkey list peptide moisturizer and I do very much like it. I think it’s a perfect drunk elephant dupe perfect for dry/ combination skin gals and it’s unscented which is perfect. I’ll do this morning or night and slap on some good molecules oil and I’m ready to go. 5/5 I like this product very much and I’m starting to really like the inkey list. They have a really affordable retinol I’ve been trying out from them too and I’ll keep you guys updated on that one 😉

Affordable lightweight peptide moisturizer
I’ve been using THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer for about a month now so I’m ready to share my thoughts on it. This is a nourishing daily moisturizer that contains a peptide duo that helps support natural collagen by decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as hydrate the skin. The two peptides in this are acetyl hexapeptide-37, which helps with surface level hydration, and pentapeptide-48 that helps with skin rejuvenation. Other notable ingredients in this formulation are glycerin, shea butter, betaine, and vitamin e. I was worried that this would be to heavy for my skin due to the shea butter but this was surprisingly lightweight. It has a medium weight cream texture that sinks into the skin fairly quick. It leaves a natural skin finish that doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin. It just feels like moisturized skin after it dries down completely. I quite liked this cream a lot since it provided enough hydration and nourishment to my skin throughout the day and night. The results I got from this were pretty expected. My skin just felt supple and moisturized. As far as anti-aging benefits from the peptides, I’d have to use it for a much longer period to see those results if there are any. I’m aware people are thinking this would be a dupe for Drunk Elephant’s protini but I don’t think that’s the case since they both have varying ingredients as well as textures. DE’s felt more like a gel cream that has a lot more ingredients and peptides in their formulation but that’s not to say this isn’t a great moisturizer all on it’s own. This is a wonderful moisturizer for any skin type that’s also affordable and comes in a great packaging that dispenses the perfect amount each time. This didn’t irritate my skin or cause any breakouts as well so that’s always a plus for me. Overall, I was very impressed by this moisturizer. It kept my skin hydrated, nourished, and moisturized all at a great price and I just love the pump jar packaging. I would definitely repurchase this again in the future. Have you guys tried this yet? If so, any thoughts? Rating: 4/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #TheInkeyList
Changed my skin in 2 days!!
These two products basically transformed my skin in 2 days!! For some reason I suddenly broke out on my cheeks, and I NEVER break out on my cheeks! I picked up this peptide moisturizer from Sephora during the VIBsale in April because I heard it was a dupe for Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturizer. Honestly the Drunk Elephant one broke me out :( 🤩THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer The texture of this moisturizer is like a light-cream and layers super well on top of your other skincare products as well as under your sunscreen! I love that it doesn’t pill and really hydrates the skin! This product didn’t break me out and actually helped me repair my skin barrier🤩 😌MISSHA - Essence Sun SPF 45 PA+++ OH K-BEAUTY!! Where do I even start my love for you😍 As we all know Asian beauty is 10 years advanced and their sunscreens are amazing! They’re lightweight, amazing coverage and NO WHITECAST!!! HELLO!! That’s a win-win situation for me! The texture of this product is an essence cream, and really helps me with protection!! It has a slight clean fragrance too, something to be aware of, because I don’t like fragrance in my skincare but this didn’t break me out!! I use this daily and re-apply it throughout the day! I loveeee😍 🏷 do I recommend? YES I DO! Both of these products are under $20 each and you can get the sunscreen for under $10 when yesstyle has a good sale going on! You can’t beat that!!! *chefs kiss*👄
Protini...a love story. I tested. I fell in love hard and fast. I balked at the price. I sampled and sampled it some more. I went in search of one that could compete. I came close but none quite compared to my beloved. So I finally took the plunge and it’s all I hoped it would be! The texture is gel/cream perfection and provides the perfect amount of hydration for me. My skin is visibly smoother, lines and wrinkles are significantly less noticeable, and I truly have an overall more youthful appearance when I use it! It’s pricey at $68.00 for 1.69oz but not obscenely expensive and with ingredients like a 9 signal peptide complex (growth factors), pygmy waterlily stem cell extract, soybean folic acid ferment extract (b vitamin), acetyl glutamine (amino acid) it’s well worth it. Drunk Elephant Glow! Worth It?
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer This was the only moisturizer I used while I was on vacation in Hawaii last spring! This moisturizer kept my skin well hydrated, protected, and glowing. I left without any sunburn! I like that there is no fragrance in this and it just gave me a dewy look, even without makeup. There were many days where I just put this moisturizer on, under my sunscreen, and strolled out to the beach or went hiking. I have photos where it looks like I have a blurring foundation on, but this was the only thing I was wearing on my face (aside from sunscreen)! This also blends really well with the D-Bronzi product (review below). Both products have allowed me to achieve a slight tan on the face without the sun during these uncertain times. This is on the more expensive side, but it’s worth it for the benefits! DRUNK ELEPHANT - D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops Love love love this color enhancing product! A little goes a long way and the purpose of this is to mix it with your skincare - I usually mix half a pump with my moisturizer but you can also mix with your serum or sunscreen - to achieve a sunkissed/bronzed glow. When you first pump it out, the color looks very dark and intimidating to work with. However, once you blend into your skincare, it just adds a bit of warmth to it and turns my moisturizer into a tinted moisturizer. Please keep in mind this is not a product that should be used on its own, nor is it advertised to be used this way! This also is a great product to add to your winter foundation shade to transition it to your summer shade. Personally, I have a hard time finding an exact match for a summer shade since sometimes going up one number in the color scale does not always mean the foundation has the same undertones. In fact, usually it is a different color/undertone altogether. But adding this to my winter foundation, I get to keep the same undertone (since I lean slightly yellow) and get to just make it literally a shade darker.

Drunk Elephant Protini Cream , Pricy but Worthy!
You know drunk elephant is very popular this year. But it’s a little expensive for me. I choose to buy this best seller’s sample in Sephora .As a result , I fall in love with it. Is it really a dupe?? Drunk Elephant vs. Inkey🍀
In this round of dupe products, I tested Drunk Elephant’s Protini against The Inkey List Peptide Moisturizer. I have used Protini in the past and just got the newly released Inkey List moisturizer a few months ago. I was excited to see how they would perform up against each other. Let’s dive in! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer $68/ 50ml: contains a combination of signal peptides, growth factors, and amino acids. It comes in an airtight jar and a pump to prevent exposure and oxidation. The cream is in an intensely thick formula but surprisingly doesn’t feel too heavy when applied on my oily skin (although I feel oilier later in the day). The formulation has A LOT of peptides. Nine in total. I’m still skeptical when it comes to peptides since there haven’t been enough controlled studies to support the claims. However, I do know it has amazing moisturizing properties therefore, it may really help reduce fine lines and improve the overall health of the skin. THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer $14.99/ 50ml: this is a mainly a shea butter moisturizer. The peptides are last in the ingredients list. It contains a two-percent royal epigen P5 that claims to nurture skin and help decrease the appearance of fine lines and one-percent hydrating peptide solution to support the moisture barrier. It has fewer ingredients compared to Protini so it has less potential to cause irritations for sensitive or acne-prone skin. Texture and Consistency: I find that the Inkey moisturizer is more lightweight and sinks in quicker than the Protini. However, the Protini has that special luxurious silky feel to it. It feels really soft and cream slides easily onto skin. They are both sufficiently moisturizing for my oily skin. Both make me oilier at the end of the day but I really have no problem when used in the nighttime. I think they’re both great products. Both are fragrance-free and have occlusive properties. They seal in the moisture to keep your skin looking healthy and they’re perfect for use to repair the moisture barrier and replenish your skin with hydration overnight. So which one should you get? depends on your needs and skin type: I would say, go for the PROTINI if: You have dry skin You have wrinkles and fine lines You prefer a really intensive hydration You’re not sensitive to plant extracts Go for the PEPTIDE MOISTURIZER if: You have oily skin You are acne-prone You prefer a lightweight moisturizer You’re sensitive to plant extracts *cons: it has a strong chemical smell I personally have been enjoying the Inkey List moisturizer better than the Protini. Although I have always loved the Protini, I find that the Inkey moisturizer works better with my skin type. Thank you for reading! xoxo
