Caudalie SOS moisturizer
This is such a beautiful thick moisturizer, it looks deceiving because it’s creamy and lightweight when you put some on your finger and when you put it on your face you can over do it and put too much on! I did that the first time now I’ve learned. It spreads like a gel cream over your face but it keeps your face hydrated for the entire day this is perfect for dry skin gals especially in the winter. Of course I bought this in the summer silly me but I can’t wait to use more of it in the winter it’s sooo thick and nourishing also smells like grapes like all of Caudalies stuff. 4/5 because I do love it it’s just expensive but you get a lot of product and it’s good ingredients too.

Caudalie gifted me all three of these products which are actually being sold in a set right now at Sephora if you’d like to check them out!! First of all, I have honestly enjoyed using each of there products, which is why they’re all starred highly! CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser This cleanser is great! The foaming texture is really nice and feels awesome on the skin! It really seems to do a nice job at removing the remaining makeup from my face! It smells amazing too! CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Intense Moisturizing Cream The moisturizing cream is extremely hydrating! I have naturally dry skin so this has been great at keeping my skin soft and supple! A little of this goes a long way! CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum This is an awesome hydrating serum! I use this morning and night and only need one pump each time, so this would last you forever!
Are these Face Creams by Caudalie worth it?
Our skin is our first defense against different damaging environmental factors we are exposed to and many times we don’t take the proper care to either protect it or repair it. When this happens, our skin becomes dry, flaky and wrinkles begin to appear caused because of the lack of elasticity. When our skin is properly hydrated our skin looks fresh, young and smooth. Opposed to what some people think, it doesn’t matter what type of skin you have, you should ALWAYS hydrate your skin, even if it’s oily the skin needs enough water and components to be protected and this way slow down any aging signs. While water is probably the first and most popular option to hydrate ourselves, it’s not the only thing you should rely on. Thankfully, we live in an age in which skin care is a thing so we have all these extra products to help our skin with. Today I will talk about 2 different Moisturizing and hydrating Face Creams by the brand Caudalie, and we will compare them between each other as well and see if they are really worth it, if you really need them all, or if you can just opt for a similar and more affordable option with the same benefits. If you are not familiar with this brand yet, Caudalie is an established French skincare brand and what makes it unique is their commitment to use high quality natural ingredients, grapes to be exact, and preserve the environment creating products that don’t have much impact in our ecosystem. Since 2006 they have been paraben free, making their products really safe for use. They use natural formulas and have amazing vinotherapy based spas around the world. 1- CAUDALIE - Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet - $39 USD Caudalie gave this product the name of Sorbet because they say it will melt into your skin just like a delicious sorbet melts into your mouth. Also because of the similarity of their texture. This product appears as a cream when you first apply it and eventually turns into a cool gel that will strengthen, sooth and hydrate the skin. Boosting our natural hydration mechanism and replenishing our skin’s water. It’s safe to use if you have sensitive skin since it’s non-comedogenic. Some of its main ingredients are grape seeds, grape water and chamomile to calm the skin and any potential irritation. 2- CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Intense Moisturizing Cream- $42 USD This products texture is like a regular thick cream, but it’s quickly absorbed by the skin. While the previous product does provide hydration this one seems to win regarding on the amount. It leaves the skin really plumped and refreshed. It’s almost like an emergency facial but in the form of a cream, that’s why it has the words “SOS” and “intense” in its name. And if you suffer from dry skin you will notice its effects even more. It leaves the skin feelings like if you have been drinking a lot of water all day but in a healthy way. It gives you an extra glow just by applying this cream. This moisturizer is recommended for all skin types, it’s also non-comedogenic, not to mention vegan and gluten-free and the package is recyclable. While both products are good, I would say the SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer wins this time. Simply because it’s more efficient and it only costs a few dollars more. So, if you have to choose between a Caudalie cream I would suggest the second one. Since the first one might seem still a bit pricey for what it offers. PS. Don’t forget to drink water anyways!
Dry skin or winter skin look no further
This night cream is so thick! I leave it on over night and when I wake up my skin is super soft and no longer has dry patches! I don’t have dry skin usually, but in the winter I tend to have drier skin. It’s literally the best! Tip: it’s super thick and a little hard to rub into the skin, so I recommend spraying a facial spray on your face beforehand to make application easier! 💕
MARIO BADESCU-Caviar Night Cream
I’m currently using A retinol product so my skin is beyond dry but this is the most effective moisturizer by far , the texture is rich and feels luxurious as I said before it remember me of the Famous LaMer Soft Cream , I only use it at night but yesterday I’ve tried mixing it with my hyaluronic serum in my hand and it transforms into a lighter texture with all the same hydration , the smell is nice and not overwhelming, I would totallyyyyyyyyyy recommand this cream to anyone with dry to extra dry skin 💕 * product gifted but opinions are my own

SHISEIDO - Pureness Moisturizing Gel-Cream This gel moisturizer is the perfect way to quench oily skin. It claims to quench your skin immediately and help protect the skin's natural balance, aswell as increasing the skin's moisture retention. It’s gel-like texture feels like water when applied, leaving the skin feeling fresh. It’s quickly absorbed by the skin leaving it hydrated. The reason I like it so much is because it’s so lightweight making it good for layering products during my night routine or under makeup during the day. It also does a really good job controlling the oil in my T-zone. Although this one doesn’t promise to have a matifying effect like the matifying moisturizer in this collection it still does a really good job at it. Which is the main reason I like it. It’s scent is very mild, with almost no fragrance at all. I had a good experience with this gel but I am not sure I would repurchase. Overall, I think for a gel moisturizer I can find other alternatives for less money that would still work the same way as this one, and with more than 1.4 oz. I bought mine at TJ Maxx so if you can find it at the TJ Maxx price then it’s worth the try.

Since being back in LA my skin slowly going back to normal. But not without help. Inserting 👩🏽🦰 steaming and pH balancing ⚖️ here. I owe some of this the olivarrier emollient extra comfort cream and its ultra restorative abilities. ✨With 20 % shea butter, squalene and vitamins B5 the cream is soothing and non irrating. The cream has low acidity of pH 5.5 to assist with calming the skin while protecting the skin barrier. Friendly fact: Healthy skin is pH4.4-5.5, but can vary due pretty much anything. ✨One of the main factor in protection comes from the 5% panthenol which prevents moisture loss. Perfect to work on my keep my hudration intact after I work on dry area and acne concerns. ✨I've paired it with more watery emulsions for max pentration in the middle of my routine in the morning 🌤

So so hydrating!!
I was kindly gifted this by fancl, and this emulsion is so so hydrating & makes my skin so plump. I use it everytime my skin is freaking out and/or has texture this helps with that! I highly recommend this product because its a brand that has no self-preservatives and each product will last about 30 days and will expire after that time. The thing is, the products are small enough so that you use them up in 3-4 weeksFANCL - Enrich Emulsion II @cherie

Moisturizer with SPF!
The Fre Skincare Protect Me is a daily moisturizer with an SPF of 30. This moisturizer/SPF is a light-weight, cruelty free, and sweat resistant way to keep your skin hydrated and protected from the sun. This claims to leave zero white-cast, won’t clog pores and doesn’t string eyes, all while protecting the face. Protect Me, is specifically formulated for women who work out and sweat, so this is perfect for hot days outside. The texture feels silky on the skin, and is easy to apply without tugging to get it all rubbed in, it is definitely very lightweight. I have used this only a hand full of times, and while I did enjoy the fact that this does what it claims (no white-cast, hydrating, and oh so lightweight.) I just felt the SPF scent was much to strong for me to handle. That’s just my personal opinion, I have never been too keen on that smell. I would use this every single day, because it really is everything I have ever wanted in an daily moisturizer, I am just to smell sensitive. So, when I look for a moisturizer with SPF in it, it can’t smell like sunscreen. Overall, it’s a beautiful product! Besides the SPF smell there is a very fresh almost minty kind of scent to it, which is actually very pleasant, when that scent wears off is when I can smell the sunscreen. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone! But if you work out or sweat outdoors this is highly recommended from me. It is definitely worth the time, effort, and price. You get protection from the sun and hydration from this product. I would give this product 4/5 only because the strong (for me) SPF smell. FRÉ - Protect Me Defense Facial Moisturizers
