Makeup mistakes I’ve made with my eyebrows
#cheriepartner what’s awesome is these 2 brow products are only $4 and $3 and they work amazing We all go through a faze where we’ve done mistakes with our makeup in the past with our eyelashes, brows, contour, foundation and fine lines, concealer. Well that was definitely me I’ve made all kinds of makeup mistakes when I was in middle school starting out with makeup and I was so excited to start having fun with makeup and I had a lot to learn of course but I always made my eyebrows too dark , like darker then my natural color and I would make them too thin so I always struggled doing my brows and loving them but as I got older and started watching my favorite makeup tutorials I was learning and getting better at them and now I found the right products that work for my color and to shape them right !! I had a hard time finding my color for brows that would match perfectly. And my go to forever eyebrow products I’ve been using is e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel

IL MAKIAGE — worth the hype?! Day 3
Picture 1: No foundation... Just so y’all can compare and contrast, ya feelssss? Picture 2: Layer 1! Medium coverage. Still stand by this. Very easy to blend... very breathable... and now that I reeeeally look at it, kiiiinda lighter than my skin lol! Also, note that this didn’t cover my breakout on my chin very well (same as yesterday’s post). Picture 3: Layer 2! Full coverage. Feels like absolutely nothing is on my face, if I’m being completely honest. BUT I’m not in love with how my face looks. This foundation is super matte (and I’m more into a natural finish with medium coverage), and after I put this 2nd layer on, I started noticing a very powdery look around my nose and on my chin. Kinda like I have dry patches and it’s clinging to my dry patches except I don’t have dry patches, soooo.... what’s that about, yo? 🤔 In conclusion, I think I’m done with this trial. I’m honestly not down to spend that amount of money on something I only sort of like. However, if super matte, lightweight, blendable, buildable, and breathable is your jam, go for it, girl!! The matte is just too matte for me... so I’m sending her back to her home. Toodles, IL MAKIAGE! It’s been reeeeeeeal. ✌🏼 Xoxo Xenia Oh! And I forgot to mention in the other posts: I used a sponge to blend my foundation out, in case anyone wanted to know. 😊 Products used on my face: 💁🏼♀️ Primer e.l.f. - Puff Puff Primer 💁🏼♀️ Foundation IL MAKIAGE - WOKE UP LIKE THIS 💁🏼♀️ Brows ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara
My Brow Team
My favorite go to eyebrow pencil is the tarte - Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Pencil . It’s so thin and easy to work with I also love that it’s waterproof so I know I won’t sweat it off in the Florida heat. For a cheaper option I would recommend the e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil . This works just as great but the pencil is a bit thicker. I finish off my brows with the e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel which makes the hairs stay in place all day! If you don’t like using pencils and prefer a compact instead I highly recommend the EYLURE - Defining & Shading Brow Palette . This comes with a wax in your shade, a powder in your shade and a powder to highlight. All very pigmented and easy to work with.
Simple bronzey-peachy makeup 🍑✨
Today I bring you an almost full face of drugstore makeup! I’ve found some drugstore gems that I’ve been obsessed with as of late and I unconsciously used a lot today for this simple peachy lewk! I’m gonna be honest and say I’m a bit bummed about summer coming to an end, so I might have gone a bit crazy with the bronzer today but I really liked how this turned out so here, a breakdown of the products I used which are all mainly drugstore and/or less pricey options ☺️ ⭐️ DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer the only luxury product I used today. This is my favorite concealer ever so I basically use it every time I do my makeup. I’ve reviewed it before, so I’ll just tell you it’s amazing. 10/10. ⭐️ e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer I know this has been around for a while but I picked it up in a set not too long ago and it’s just as amazing as everyone says it is. It literally makes my pores disappear! ⭐️ essence - Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder Essence is one of my favorite drugstore brands, they offer great products at true drugstore prices. The packaging may not be the nicest but if the product is good then that’s fine by me. This bronzer works great on my skin tone, smells like coconuts and blends beautifully onto skin. ⭐️ essence - Pure Nude Highlighter another Essence favorite! This is the creamiest powder highlighter I’ve ever used. It looks almost wet on the skin, never powdery. Just one of my favorite highlighters overall, not just drugstore. ⭐️ essence - Satin Touch Blush I think Essence just does powders really well, another great powder product from them! They’re blushes are inexpensive, blend so well and last a while on the skin. ⭐️ COLOURPOP - Baby Got Peach not drugstore per se, but drugstore priced! Colourpop’s monochrome palettes are my favorite. The peach one is a must if you have a similar skin tone to mine, I think these are just lovely. ⭐️ e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel amazing brow gel, it fills in my brows, tames them and holds. ⭐️ e.l.f. - Lip Plumping Gloss I’m not a big fan of plumping glosses because of the burning sensation I get from most of them, but this one is bearable and the color is so cute! It’s a very comfortable gloss in my opinion. ⭐️ ROYAL & LANGNICKEL - MŌDA Metallics Triad Eye I used this brush today to give some shape to my eyes and it’s an amazing brush! Super soft and the triangular shape is great if you’re not that good doing eye makeup (like me!). I just really don’t like the handle, it’s so ugly to me lol but the brush is 💯 ⭐️ I used this Wet n Wild blending brush to blend the shadows I used today, and Wet n Wild brushes are some of my favorite drugstore brushes. Very affordable and easily accessible! #CheriePartner
How I Do My Eyebrows For My “Heart-Shaped” Face
Finding the ideal brow shape isn't as easy as it sounds. Should you go with a high arch, a bushy undone brow, or a more refined 'drawn on' kind of brow? For me, I try to keep my brows as natural looking as possible. I have a few "holy grail" brow products that I use. But my brow routine is pretty low key. My Brow Journey First off, I'm a 90s baby. And as someone who was a pre-teen in the early 2000s, (you probably know where this is going), I stole my mom's tweezers and went to town on my eyebrows. Luckily they grew back, and I've learned my way around a pair of tweezers and a brow brush. To find my ideal brow shape, I turned to the internet, specifically YouTube, to seek brow advice from the beauty gurus of my time. My Face Shape: From what I understand after taking a Cosmo quiz, I have a "heart-shaped" face. My forehead is wider than my jawline, and my cheekbones are around the same width as my forehead width. Plus, I have a more narrow jawline. My Brow Shape: I have a very soft, angled arch to my brows. I have to pluck my unibrow and a few stray hairs underneath my brow bone, and that's pretty much it. I must say, I do have fairly easy-going brows to maintain. I'd like them to be a little bit thicker, but hey, we can't always get what we want. However, we can always place an order at Sephora.com for more brow products. My brows look pretty similar in most of my photos, want to know why? Because I've barely changed up my brow routine since high school! Sometimes I'll add a bit of filler to give them a more dramatic look, or I will just brush them up and set them with an eyebrow gel.
Favorite Drugstore Mascara
L’Oréal makes the best mascara, hands down! I’ve been using this mascara for over ten years, every time I try a different brand I regret it. Nothing compares, at least in this price range.

Keeping my pin straight lashes curled ALL DAY
I've been ~blessed~ with long (but straight) lashes and am ALWAYS on the hunt for new mascaras to help hold a curl. I'm nearly 100% certain that water-proof mascara is the only thing that will do the trick so that's typically what I stick to; although, if you know something I don't pls pls pls send that secret my way. Too Faced's Better Than Sex WP mascara was my go-to for a really long time, but about a year ago I heard that Loreal's Lash Paradise was a comparable dupe so that's what I've been using ever since. That being said, i'm a sucker for trying new products and while I love how this makes me lashes look, I'm looking for any recommendation for WP mascaras that: 1. Resist Clumping 2. Don't over-dry lashes 3. Will not require the soul of my first-born child to be removed L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara

a guide to hooded eyes
here’s some very important do’s and don’ts for those of us with sleepy eyes or bedroom eyes- that i’ve found to get the most playful or sultry looks. 1) always utilise your eye space - bring your eyeshadow all the way up to your brow bone, and then “cut a crease” with a sparkly or dark eyeshadow in your natural fold to make it look like you have more eyelid than you actually do. to make it simpler, here’s your steps: a. primer/concealer b. base color c. crease to brow bone: medium shade d. crease: darkest shade (create a shadow) e. sparkly/bright color on eyelid f. blend! 2) dark colors outside, light colors inside -this creates some gorgeous depth and makes my eyes look sexy and mysterious even with a harshly blended smoky eye. a smoky eye becomes a whole new look for you when you create this kind of shape. 3) BLEND BLEND BLEND -ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS blend your eyeshadow. if you don’t, you look like a 13 year old who got into Momma’s makeup bag. blending the base color into the crease color into your statement shimmer is the best way to make your seamless eye look really pop. 4) don’t be afraid of eyeliner! for the longest time, i was afraid of eyeliner because it would overshadow my eyeshadow and make my eyes look sunken and dark. if you make a nice thin line almost inside your lashes, you can give the illusion of more eyelid. my best tip for wings on hooded eyes is to draw the line first and then do one nice thin line angled towards the end of your eyebrow. then, if you want a thicker (or longer) wing you can work from there. ALSO! Give white crayon eyeliner on your waterline a shot. it give the illusion of bigger eyes, and brightens the white of your eyeball. don’t use liquid eyeliner for this, sh*t STINGS. 5) mascara!! -a good mascara opens your eyes up and makes you look bushy tailed and glamorous. now remember, if the rest of your makeup is low key, you can use a more natural mascara to look enhanced. however, if you have a shimmery smoky eye and cleopatra eyeliner, go big or go home baby! 6) highlight -highlight the inner corner of your eye. it makes your eye look bigger and draws attention across your eyes, making them appear more almond shaped. also, it just looks pretty! happy blending!
My killer mascara duo 👊🏼💢
I have pretty long and thick lashes already, but this mascara duo really takes things from 0-100! For some reason I have lashes that absolutely WILL NOT hold a curl, so I always have to buy the waterproof versions of mascaras. That is the only way that they will hold any sort of curl at all. My other secret is that I head up my eyelash curler with a lighter (or hair dryer) beforehand. After curling my lashes, I begin applying Too Faced - Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara to my lashes form root to tip. I feel like this mascara is perfect for thickening lashes, and is much thicker than the Loreal Telescopic. Once I have applied enough of the Better Than Sex, I immediately begin applying L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Waterproof Mascara . I feel like the brush on the Telescopic is perfect for brushing out any clumps from the Better Than Sex. The Telescopic is also amazing for lengthening!! For me, using the two of these together is a perfect combination. Plus, the curl lasts all day long!!! #CheriePartner

Best eye primer for oily eyelids
I have super oily lids. In summer my makeup isn't lasting for a few hours. Using an eye primer is necessary for me every single day because it effectively helps my foundation, shades and eye line last longer. Otherwise I always get my eyeliner and eyeshade stain on the upper and lower eyelids. Before using this primer, I was fascinated by Urban Decay’s eyeshades. I have Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette and Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette. Both of them are well pigmented but sometimes slide off around my eyes. when I applied the eyeshade I felt there was no smudging or creasing but I found my eyeshade wasn’t as pigmented as it in the morning. Then my friend recommended urban decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion to me. She said that the eye primer can cover the skin imperfections and make a flawless base to apply eyeshades. I have read many reviews on this primer and finally bought one to try. I was amazed by the primer. It makes my makeup stays on the place even after 8 hours without creasing. it makes my eyeshadows go on smoothly and vibrantly. The foundation is lightweight with a light nude color. It is very easy to apply with the wand. Although the product is a little bit pricey for me, only a small amount goes a long way. The foundations dry immediately on my lids and make my makeup blend smoothly, leaves my lid a beautiful matte finish. The foundation is also very easy to remove in the evening. I have using the Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer for a few years after my friend's recommendation. it is a kind of must-have process during my daily makeup routine, especially in the humid climate. the product creates a beautiful base for eyes makeup, including lines and eyeshade, and dramatically reduces shadow creasing. I highly recommend this product to women who have an oily lid or need long-lasting makeup.
