He want that cake cake cake 🍰 🎂
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 I attempted to do a Christmas look today with the cake palette from Glamlite, but I failed miserably. I used the shade “red velvet” thinking it would be red, but it turned out to be a fuchsia. My lids are supposed to be green, but it turned out to be teal so now this look turned to be a cotton Candy look 😢 Anyway, this is a great rainbow palette 🌈 but if you’re looking for a true red, there isn’t a shade in here. The shimmers aren’t a true green either. It’s not exactly primary colors of a rainbow palette, but I love the formula. To achieve this look, I used: 1️⃣ Red velvet and packed it all over the crease then I blended it 2️⃣ I grabbed a smaller brush and dipped in to cranberry to blend the edges of red velvet 3️⃣ I cut my crease and packed avocado all over my lid. This shade is from the burger slider palette 4️⃣ I placed cinnamon on my inner corner 5️⃣ Red velvet, cranberry and raspberry on the lower lash 6️⃣ Mascara and falsies. I used house of lashes in demure lite Check out out my Instagram because I’m doing 12 days of Christmas. I will be posting a look everyday until Christmas. Happy holidays all! Xoxo, Francesca

RATING: BEAUTY SPONGES 😯 #CheriePartner
Hello my loves! You guys seem to love these ratings & I love a good deal when I can find it. So here is my ratings of a few beauty sponges — beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink - this was the innovator of beauty sponges in the makeup community but $20? i could NEVER wrap my head around that but it was the best one for awhile. i didn't really love it & felt it'd dry too quickly so it wasn't really for me. i'm so glad we've moved forward & now drugstore brands are releasing great products! beautyblender - Pro - same energy here. this was what i stuck with for awhile, i do think there's a difference between the two sponges but with this i couldn't tell how dirty it was and i just couldn't trust it! MORPHE - Flawless Beauty Sponge - WAY TOO TOUGH! i haven't used it in awhile i hope they reproduced these because it barely grew & just soaked up all my product. glad i got rid of it! e.l.f. - Total Face Sponge - this was my go-to for the past few months! i really like the flat edge for applying my base. it was great! e.l.f has seriously stepped up their game with sponges. REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge - BOOOOO! sorry i am just not a fan. i was never about this sponge. i've tried it so many times and it's just dry & awkward to use. it's not for me whatsoever. #e.l.f. - Complexion Sponge Trio[products]#[FiveStars] - 🗣check out my first impression on this set. the actually set is the "complexion sponge trio" in purple! i love love love it. i just started but i want to continue with it. super soft & i love that it has three RELIABLE sizes. #L'oréal - Blend Artist Foundation Blender[products]#[FiveStars] - another great one! super soft & has great shape. used this for awhile, only issue is it does tear after a little while. As always, sending love. Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

My zoom call dewy makeup look #cheriepartner
My glowing dewy makeup look for a video call . It’s elegant and beautiful, and great for lighting it’s also my quarantine at home look too. When the light hits on the skin it’s dewy and no dark spots around the face or eyes I want to make my look by my eyes bright and full and some coverage and no Matter where the light hits in my home I want my makeup to look bright and not fleshed out. So I added some bronzer on my cheeks and jaw line to contour and bring out the color in my face as well with concealer and foundation and blush to really give a natural bronze look. We all have business meetings and also school call meetings so these quick looks are perfect and quick to do before a zoom call I’m also trying out the new REVLON - Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer and I love it so far it definitely gives me eyes some coverage my eyes don’t look baggy or tired they look full and bright A separate video on this look will be coming soon 😊

This or That? Come and make a choice between them!
This or That? Come and make a choice between them!
The most economical way is to apply foundation with our fingers. But that always gets your hands dirty with product, and creates a uneven look on your face too. So it’s better use a right tool.   Then do you use a makeup brush or beauty blender? It seems to be a serious problem.   Personally, I prefer to use beauty blender, since brush has higher requirements for professional technique, which is not friendly to me.   What are the pros and cons of beauty blender and brush respectively? I’d like to share my experience.   Beauty blender provides a light, natural and even coverage of foundation, and that’s exactly what I am looking for. It can achieve a dewy look to your skin, blend out foundation effortlessly. If you are on the hunt for cheap tools, makeup sponges are good choice.   In terms of shortcomings, beauty blender absorbs foundation a lot and it doesn't last. But on the other hand, that is why you get a lighter coverage. In addition, you have to wet your sponge because a damp beauty blender helps to create a more even, dewy finish than dry.   For brush, it provides a fast application every time and high coverage that lasts all day long. And if you wash it often and keep in good condition, a makeup brush can last for years. Unlike sponges, you have to replace them every 3 to 4 months, even if you clean them often, which are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria to grow.   However, a makeup brush needs professional painting, or it will easily leave a streaky finish. It’s also hard to find a cheap good quality makeup brush as it’s more expensive than sponges. If you get a brush that isn't up to standard, you will get disaster application or even unwanted brush hairs on your face.   Just take some time to decide on the right applicator for you.

REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge This has been raved about time and time again on YouTube and instagram and all over other social medias, so I decided to try one out about two years ago. From that moment on, I've fell in love with it! I've purchased the original beauty blender twice now and I just can't use it after using this one! I always go back to this no matter what I use! And what is really great about this pack is that you save $10! Sold separately, these sponges cost $6.99/ea at Ulta, making a true to price 4-pack $27.96, but I bought this one is only $17 on Amazon!!! That is amazing! And they will last a long time! My favorite way to use this sponge is by holding it under the faucet to make it damp with water. The sponge blends out any liquid or creams to perfection. Hands down these are my absolute favorite complexion sponges super soft to touch and gentle on the skin! I really can't compare because it's the only sponges I prefer to use while working on faces. I love that their is a four pack saves me so much money. I loooove these sponges! They are one of the best alternatives you can get instead of the original Beauty Blender, at the fraction of the price. Gives me a smooth application and takes away a lot of the cake that can go on if you use a brush. One sponge usually lasts me 2-3 months if you really know how to wash and take care of it.  Love the Real Techniques line. I have a visual impairment and find that their sponges work amazing for me. They do get ratty over time like any other product but It's a lot cheaper than the Beauty Blender to have to replace.

These two are my ride and die whenever I do my makeup! Some products I like to use the beauty blender, however there are some products where I like to use my kabuki brush. I love the beauty blender because of how soft and easy to apply it is. I lightly dab it on my face for the perfect coverage. I got both of them at Sephora during one of their sales. And this Tarte kabuki is so densely packaged that it doesn’t streak your product on your face and looks flawless!! I bought this at Ulta a while back and have been trying to keep it in perfect shape because the only downside is that it’s a bit pricey! Depending on the kind of makeup I wanna use, I always got for one of these two!! beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink tarte - The Buffer Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush

Blush brush or beauty blender??
Blush brush or beauty blender??
I love using different making tools for different products and looks. Recently I’ve been super into cream blush because it gives a slightly dewy effect. I got both of these products from sephora! One is the beautyblender - beautyblender Original Makeup Sponge Applicator which is such an amazing product. Everyone obviously raves about it. It gives an absolutely beautiful and seamless finish. I like using this for cream blush if I want it subtle and diffused since I use a stippling technique to apply it. I got the blush brush from sephora also! It is the sephora blush brush #99. One of the best blush brushes I have because it is easy to use for cream blush AND powder blush. I love versatility. It has a fairly flat body but it tapers ito a bushy point almost. Perfect for applying to the apples of your checks. For the sake of blush and the versatility aspect I like using this more than the beauty blender! But if I’m traveling and space is an issue the beauty blender is such a great alternative to apply cream blush. SEPHORA COLLECTION - PRO Blush Brush #99 💋🤍 #cheriepartner

Top Foundation Brushes!
Top Foundation Brushes!
It’s important to know the coverage level that your foundation provides and the one that your brush provides to understand what look you’re trying to create. None of these brushes leave streaks! REAL TECHNIQUES - Blend + Blur Foundation Brush This brush is the one that provides the highest level of coverage, as the bristles are the shortest. I also love the design of this brush, it makes it easier to handle. The technique also provides an airbrush look too due to its blending properties. sonia kashuk - Essential Flat-Top Foundation Brush Flat top brushes provide a high level of coverage since the length of the bristles are also pretty short. Sonia Kashuk brushes are also pretty amazing. They have been so far the best line of brushes I have used, so far (haven’t tried many, to be honest), and is the reason for why I only use this brand for a full make-up look. These bristles are the softest (that I have used so far) and work great with liquid foundations. If you have a lower coverage foundation (cc-creams, bb-creams, tinted moisturizers), but want to create a fuller coverage, then you can use this brush. e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush This is an oval dual fiber brush and this is the brush that provides the lowest level of coverage due to the length of the bristles. This is the reason for why I use it with my full coverage foundation, to create a more natural and sheer look. This brush is also perfect to build coverage due go the level of coverage it provides. The bristles are pretty soft, and this glides smoothly in your face.

Foundation Tools I LOVE and Can’t Live Without
Foundation Tools I LOVE and Can’t Live Without
As a self proclaimed makeup lover, I know the importance of having the right tools in getting certain jobs done! For example, today I will sharing TWO of my ultimate favorite foundation application tools! And they are the beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink and a mini version of the it Cosmetics - Airbrush Blurring Foundation Brush #101 ! If you wear foundation or concealer, you can recognize how important it is to have an even application with the product not looking spotty around the face and neck! I won’t lie it took me a while to finally get the right tools in my hand! I would use stipple brushes before but would notice streaks from the brush bristles. I finally gave in and bought the beauty blender and was lucky enough to get the brush as a gift with purchase! I got the Beauty Blender from their website during a sale but originally they retail for $20.00 and can be found at various stores. So far I’ve been using this sponge for over a year and always have a backup ready! I love the way this works on my face and I don’t feel like it absorbs up the foundation. My tip is to use it wet to blend more smoothly and then use the same sponge to apply my translucent powder. I use this sponge instead of my fingers because I feel like the beauty blender leaves everything more smooth and set, my fingers are not able to leave my face leaving that smooth! Next, favorite tool is my mini version of the It Cosmetics Foundation brush. The original retails for $24.00 at Ulta. The mini works great for me so I haven’t gone out and purchased the full size yet! This brush is so soft and can be used with liquid, cream, or powder foundations! I only use it with liquid foundation since that’s what I like to use and for me it does the job well, but I did deduct one star because it sometimes will leave a streak or two on my face. But once you buff it in well, it looks flawless! I got this tool around 1.5 years ago and have loved it since then. Both do the job well and you can barely tell the difference when I have side by side pictures! Another big trick to ensure your tools last and remain in tip top shape for a long time is to always clean them! You do not want to have dirty tools touching your fresh primed canvas! Let me know what tools you use and if you like any of these tools I mentioned in my post! #CheriePartner
