The Ordinary Review
Overall, I love the ordinary. They are a brand that is affordable and has no bs in their products! Most companies add so many different products that contradict each other and then the product alone just DOES👏NOT👏WORK👏 This brand is the opposite, it only puts in main products. 1.) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA

Please Help !!
Hi ! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is ? I’ve never really dealt with this before, the only time i get acne is the week before, the week of, and the week after I get my period, but this has not gone away at all. I haven’t done anything different with my usual routine, please let me know if there’s anything I should add or change. I have sensitive/dry skin. THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane *Please do not recommend Cerave Hydrating Cleanser or Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser, they both burned and irritated my skin.
Fall-Winter Nights Moisturizing Edit
bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. The gelly consistency feels really nice on my skin and the formula absorbs quickly into the skin. I have been applying this nightly on cleanse skin and allow the product to completely absorb and dry before applying other serums and oils. ✅✅✅Super Clean & 🐰Cruelty Free Bliss products are also made without: PARABENS • SLS/SLES • ADDED PHTHALATES • FORMALDEHYDE OR FORMALDEHYDE DONORS • TRICLOSAN • TRICLOCARBAN • PETROLATUM • TALC • NPE (NONYLPHENOL ETHOXYLATE) • BHA (BUTYLATED HYDROXYANISOLE) • BHT (BUTYLATED HYDROXYTOLUENE) • HYDROQUINONE • PLASTIC MICRO-BEADS The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane I’ve been loving this squalane serum on my face and body this month. I have eczema on my face, neck and arms and omg guys... This is so light weight and it absorbs instantaneously! So far I’m just happy that it soothes the irritations (eczema) and give my skin an extra layer of moisture where I need it most. Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan COSRX - Low pH BHA Overnight Mask This is ultra moisturizing. It has the consistency of Vaseline and ointment cream.. so use sparingly. Half a pea- size is more than enough for the entire face and neck area. Even though it is very moisturizing and goes on quite thick— give it a few minutes and it’ll sink in like a dream. I use this overnight mask once or twice a week/ when I really feel like my face just need that extra boost and glow in the morning. This is a staple product in my travel bag! Gorgeous product! I ordered mine from ULTA but you can also order them on Amazon, Soko glam, Cosrx, etc. This product is also 🐰cruelty free. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for eczema relief below. Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful

niacinamide that ACTUALLY worked for me!
When I first learned about niacinamide, I was dealing with an oily mess on my face, so of course I was excited to hear that there was something that controlled oil production and helped reduce redness from breakouts. I looked at a bunch of reviews and I ultimately decided to buy The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . I’m sad to say it really didn’t live up to the hype for me. I’ve completely used this up and I honestly I couldn’t be more excited. It’s not like this serum caused any breakouts or anything but it was so disappointing to find that it didn’t really help my skin. So before I even finished this serum, I bought THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum . And I’ve really got to say: WOW!!! The difference in the oiliness of my skin is incredible! I’ve done multiple tests to see how my skin reacts, and I can really tell a difference in oil control when I use this serum in my routine! I couldn’t be happier with THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum and if you haven’t had much luck with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% , I highly recommend you try The Inkey List one before you give up on niacinamide!
Six month update
I feel like I'm still figuring out what works for me, even though it's been six months since my last update. Products that work for 12 hour days in front of a computer at home don't necessarily work for 12 hour days on-site in a mask. Current routine: AM Products 1. DESERT ESSENCE - Gentle Nourishing Organic Cleanser 2. bliss - Bright Idea Serum Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Serum 3. Follain - Follain Eye Cream: Firm + Brighten 4. bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer 5. I'll be honest, I barely leave my house so I've been lazy about the sunscreen 😬 PM Products 1. DESERT ESSENCE - Gentle Nourishing Organic Cleanser 2. pixi - Glow Tonic 3. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 4. LANCÔME - Visionnaire Eye Cream Advanced Multi-Correcting Eye Balm 5. Spot treat with dermalogica - Age Bright Spot Faderas needed or bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer The vitamin C products have really helped with my acne and dark spots! I also treated myself to patchology - FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels yesterday and cold eye masks are so soothing. Definitely recommend putting your eye masks in the fridge. Has anyone tried innisfree? I've been eyeing their products...
Dry, Sensitive, or Dehydrated skin? Try this !!
What is this product?; A chemical exfoliant with hydrating properties that claims to be a gentler option than glycolic acid. This is a Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or AHA for short, to help hydrate the skin and shed dead cells from the skin’s surface. Why this product? ; I’ve been on the search for a Gentle exfoliator for my dry skin that gets dehydrated, and after ample amount of research I decided to try lactic acid. I saw this was a dupe for the Sunday Reilly lactic acid treatment, so I went for it! How do I feel about it? ; I’m happy I tried it! For the price and results, you can’t beat it. My skin doesn’t feel irritated afterwards and the texture feels smooth. It also doesn’t dry me out as much as other exfoliators have.

All about The Ordinary
Since starting my skin care routine in 2019, I have found myself to love The Ordinary skincare line. I have pictured my 3 favorite products from their line currently: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution The Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is a must for toner in your skincare routine! Glycolic acid is an AHA used to exfoliate the skin, removing the outermost layer of skin on your face to reveal newer, brighter skin. It’s usually used to treat scarring, skin discoloration and even to help with the process of aging. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% As I stated before, the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum is my holy grail for serums. This serum helps reduce skin congestion while balancing the sebum production in your face ( basically controls the oils in your skin). Some more benefits of this serum is the reduction of pore “size” and even reduces the redness you’re skin can produce during and after the cleansing of your skin! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This peeling solution is a must in my skin care. This is another great form of exfoliation as the chemical peel will bring fourth your new, brightening skin after the first use! I use this product if I have a bad break out or too much texture on my face! Overall, The Ordinary skin care line doesn’t have to be expensive to work miracles! The Ordinary only uses necessary ingredients in their products, keeping the price of them low. I would 11/10 recommend these products, let alone the whole skin care line!

Title: Affordable serums from The Ordinary
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 What I love about The Ordinary is that it has become a cult beauty brand on Instagram because of its inclusivity. It lets everyone discover the goodness of hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid, for example, as they make these products affordable for everyone to try. And so did I.. I bought a couple of other serums alongside The Buffet, which sadly didn't work for my skin, to try. I had a couple of mismatches with The Ordinary until I came across this bottle. It’s suuuuper hydrating but doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. My skin feels amazing when I layer it on top of my toner, essence, and other serums. I recently discovered that my skin loves it when I mix this with the Biologique Recherche Collagène Marin. I swear my face feels soft and smooth. And the best part is, it’s only $6!! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution Since I have a dry combination type of skin, I need to chemically scrub it so a fresh, healthier layer will come out and make me look 18 again. This is the role of acids. I’m such a nerd when it comes to skincare; I love reading how ingredients work and what are their roles really. I bought this bottle together with my other The Ordinary hauls. So far, I love it. It’s extra helpful with my pores in the cheeks. I notice some differences in their appearance. They look smaller now as compared to about 2 months ago. I use this serum twice a week and during nighttime only. I like layering it with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum to hydrate my skin after this acid solution. Definitely a must try! The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

Rating all of my Ordinary products!
Hi guys! Let’s rate some of the products I have bought recently from The Ordinary. This company has been getting a lot of hype recently and we’re going to discuss what’s worth buying and what’s NOT worth it. First & foremost this company is AFFORDABLE. Most things are between $5-20. The idea is to offer clinical skincare at honest prices. First up: The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA Rate: 3/5. I’m giving this a 3 out of only because I haven’t seen much of a difference in using it? It does make your skin more sensitive to the sun and sometimes it can be irritating. So 3 stars is what it gets. Next: The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Rate: 4/5. This is definitely the most adorable hyaluronic acid serum I have ever bought. Comparable to SkinCeuticals. The only reason I’m giving it 4 out of 5 and not 5 is because if I overuse it my skin tends to break out. I use this every other day instead of everyday! Every body is different just see what works for you. Next: The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil Rate: 5/5 wow, I’m giving this the best score because it’s one of the best oils I’ve ever used on my skin. Helps to hydrate and reduce signs of aging! Last: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Rate: 5/5 one of the best peeling solution masks in my skincare regimen. Use only once a week for 5 mins and you will see your pores slowly reduce. Worth it! Let me know in the comments what other Ordinary products I should buy!!

Worth the Hype: The Ordinary
Loved trying these products out for the past two months there is a major difference in the texture of my face, it’s a lot smoother now and clear. I use the peeling solution like once a week & then I use the toner specifically at night & the Hyaluronic acid at night & sometimes in the A.M. as well. Definitely recommend spot testing the peeling solution & for the Toning Solution, listen to the directions when it says to avoid long exposure to sunlight when using because it does make your skin more sensitive to sunburn. I do love all of these products & they are super affordable!! I ordered mine from Ulta but they are also available at Sephora!

Current Favourite Night Serums 🌌
I’ve really been loving these 2 night serums lately! And it’s pretty hard to resist The Ordinary’s prices. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I’ll be honest.. I first got this serum probably a year ago and I never really got into it until now. I had really bad acne at the time and got frustrated with anything that wasn’t giving me instant improvement so I think I tried it for about a week and then gave up on it. But recently I felt like I should give it a second chance and now I love it!! It is keeping my face clear and even and I really enjoy how it goes on. I’ll be repurchasing this from now on!! The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA I did a lot of research on The Ordinary’s products lately in search of a new favourite. Mandelic Acid is advertised as an AHA similar to glycolic acid - only more gentle and suited for sensitive skin. This product also has hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture. This combo feels AMAZING on my skin. It instantly feels so smooth and soft. I love that it is a chemical exfoliant that I don’t have to worry about it irritating or drying out my skin and I can use it every night. It is smoothing and evening my skin out and I really enjoy and look forward to using it
