Philosophy Christmas Cookie Shower Gel
I’d rather get coal than get the Philosophy Christmas Cookie shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath. This product is marketed as a 3 in 1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath that smells like christmas cookies. It is said to be moisturizing, gentle cleansing, and conditioning. It’s a silky feeling body wash, a little gel like. I really wish I liked this product. The one plus is that is smells really nice. But it is a terrible body wash, not a good bubble bath, and I wouldn’t dare use it in my hair. After using it on my body, my skin felt so stripped and dry - which is the exact opposite of what I would like from a body wash. Because of that, there was no way I would put it in my hair! It hardly makes bubbles for a bubble bath either. There is no staying power to it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to others. It’s too stripping, and there’s no benefits to it other than the scent. It’s not worth $18, I think you’re better off with a drugstore $4 body wash. I’d rate this a 1/5. philosophy - Christmas Cookie
Soo’ae Unicorn Glow Hologram Mask
This mask is marketed as a clarifying and brightening hologram sheet mask. It contains black charcoal and niacinamide to help purify and brighten the skin. When you take it out of the package, it is super goopy. The front of it has the holographic part, the part on your skin is a normal black charcoal sheet mask. I can’t properly emphasize how dripping this mask is. When you put it on your face, it just drips..and drips..and drips. And the package still has a ton of serum left in it still. Truthfully, I’m not a huge sheet mask fan. I don’t think they’re beneficial for the most part, and if they are, it’s extremely temporary. To me it’s just a gimmick, and this holographic ‘unicorn’ one is no different. I think if you do like sheet masks, and you love ones that are drenched, this is the perfect mask for you. But to me, I just find it more of a nuisance than anything. It is very hydrating, and I guess the holographic effect would make it fun to take pictures in. It also didn’t fit my face that well. I’d recommend it to others who do enjoy sheet masks, but for me, it’s too gimmicky. I think these run anywhere from $2.50-$5 depending on where you get it from, and I don’t think that’s a bad price. I’d rate it a 3/5.

Cosrx Low pH BHA Overnight Mask
This mask is marketed as an overnight mask with 0.9% BHA that helps treat and prevent breakouts while also brightening the skin. It dissolves dullness, blackheads and whiteheads while also restoring moisture. This is a smooth mask that feels like a moisturizer going on. A little of it goes a long way and it’s not heavy at all. I really like this mask. It’s super simple, has no scent and doesn’t have a heavy feel to it like most overnight masks do. I use this when I’m dealing with little bumps on my chin and it completely dissolves them. If they’re bigger bumps, I’ll use it two nights in a row to try to get rid of them that way. I think this is a perfect BHA mask for those who are too lazy to properly mask during the day. It’s easy to slather on at night and wake up to clear skin. It’s definitely worth $22! I’d rate it a 5/5.

Beauty Bakerie Sugar Lip Scrub
This product is marketed as a sugar lip scrub that is used for both exfoliating and hydration. It targets dead skin and dry lips. This is different from most lip scrubs I’ve tried, as it’s sugary but also very wet. Most lip scrubs tend to be dry sugar. This one is not as messy as others. I really enjoy this lip scrub. It’s the perfect mix of exfoliation and hydration. It’s easy to scrub (not painful at all) and leaves a light layer of moisture on your lips when you’re done, but not an oily layer. For $12, I think it’s worth it. A little goes a long way, I have had the same one for over a year now and I’ve barely made a dent in it. I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d give it a 5/5!

Cosrx Two in One Poreless Power Liquid
This serum is marketed as a treatment that clears and tightens pores with willow bark water, betaine salicylate and tannin. It is used to help clear pore congestion and refine skin texture. This is a liquid texture that smooths into the skin easily. A little of this goes a LONG way, as shown in my pictures. Its not sticky at all either. I’ve been using this for a little while and I do see a difference in the visibility of my pores when I consistently use it. Of course it’s not going to make your pores invisible, but I think it’s good for people who have noticeably large pores. I would recommend it to others! I think it’s a good product and it’s $22 (at Ulta, probably cheaper at a Korean beauty website) for 3.38 oz. I’d rate it 4/5!

Versed Emergency Eye Mask
This product is marketed as an emergency eye mask for when you don’t get enough sleep, or your eye bags are just noticeable. It targets the delicate skin around the eyes, nourishing and hydrating the skin while also cooling and depuffing. It has a gel texture that is cooling as you pat it into your skin. I have been using this for months now and I absolutely LOVE this product. It was the first product I tried from Versed and I’m hooked. I’ve always struggled with dry under eyes and this makes such a difference. I use this almost every day. It’s super hydrating, and it definitely is brightening too. I recommend this to anyone that I can! It’s $18, and you need the tiniest pea size amount so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth. It’s a 5/5 from me!
