The product that SAVED my hair

There’s a good chance you’ve heard of Olaplex, and there’s a good reason for that! I have been using the OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector
for at least the last 5 years. It has seen me through years of scalp bleaching and the inevitable hair coloring mishaps. The product works to strengthen the bonds in your hair that is broken down by things like bleach, hair color and heat styling. I use it once a week even when I’m not treating my hair because it has really helped me with growing my hair long and healthy. However, this isn’t a normal hair mask, it goes on BEFORE you shampoo and condition, what I usually do is put it on in the morning when I know I’ll just be sitting around the house and then wash it off in the afternoon- the longer the better! #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

life changing hair products!
hi everyone! to preface this post, i have been seriously struggling with my hair for a very long time. as you can see in the photo to the top right, i have awful scalp psoriasis and sudden hair loss/thinning that makes my hair absolutely unbearable. i have had to get used to being in so much pain and discomfort at all times, and finally within the last few months, i have begun the pursuit toward more manageable hair. it is clear from the lack of dandruff or scabbing AND subtle hair regrowth shown in the bottom right photo that i have made an amazing amount of progress. while it’s not perfect, i can include my current hair care routine down below so hopefully someone else can get the same relief! the night before a shower, i will usually apply either the #Lush Cosmetics - H’suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment[products]#[FourStars] which makes my hair SO SOFT or i wet my hair and apply OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector which feels very reparative even though i don’t have awful damage. regardless on which i am using that night, i will cover my hair with a durag and don’t rinse out until my shower in the morning. when in the shower, i first use my #Lush Cosmetics - Soak and Float Shampoo Bar[products]#[FiveStars] which is the one of the only shampoos i’ve found that actually somewhat helps my dandruff and it’s NATURAL. not to mention the bar legitimately lasts forever. after lathering and rinsing with my scalp massager, i then apply Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo and lather and rinse the same way. i then apply my #Lush Cosmetics - Veganese Conditioner[products]#[FourStars] which i leave in for as long as possible or until i’m done doing everything else in the shower. after getting out of the shower i apply Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Cream and Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioning Spray which feel, smell and make my hair absolutely amazing. i then blow dry my hair upside down and wait until it’s almost entirely dry before brushing with my Wet brush - Original Detangler . lastly, at the end of each night i apply The Ordinary - Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density focussing around my hairline and spray a bit of an oil mixture that a friend created for me. i then massage my scalp with the scalp massager and every once and a while i’ll apply caster oil focusing on my ends. i know i completely went overboard and this is way more products than any one person needs but i have found my hair has completely transformed within the last few months and it feels amazing! ps. if anyone has any recommendations that help with faster growth please let me know! with all of this progress it has made me realize how slowly my hair is growing (like literally an inch or two in over two years). thank you so much!! 🤍

Hair Secret # 1
This Dynamic Duo has been my holy grail and has definitely been a game changer in my hair game . I’m never going to give this up and this duo will definitely stay in my hair routine . All you do is Apply # 0 to dry hair and let it sit for 10 minutes ( Do not rinse out ) and then you apply # 3 . . Let that sit for as little as 20 minutes or longer . Then you rinse and proceed with your shampoo. I feel this combo has literally strengthened my hair for the better . I will definitely recommend this duo to keep your hair game strong or to nurse your hair back to health from overprocessing , heat damage or dryness.

Olaplex No.3
OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector -Limited Edition My mom got me this hair treatment recently & I cannot believe how much it has helped my hair already in such a short time period. It’s a hair treatment, no a deep conditioner so you are supposed to put it in your hair, comb it through completely & then wash it out & use shampoo & conditioner. You’re only supposed to us it once a week because too much will overdo it & can make your hair really straw-like & brittle. When you use it, you’re supposed to leave it on for 10 minutes minimum & the longer it’s on your hair, the better. I usually put it in, then go clean my house & wash it out about 45 min later in the shower. It has softened my hair so much & gotten rid of the split ends & hair breakage I had. My hair looks brand new like I left the salon everyday now that I use this weekly! I can’t recommend this stuff enough guys!! @cherie @Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

I wanted to love it
Even before the pandemic and lockdown I had a hard time getting to the hair dresser regularly to get a trim. I could easily go 6+ months without a trim. So, I suffer from bad split ends. Over a year ago when I was at the hair dresser she recommended I buy Olaplex. She said you can go a year without a trim if you use this once a week. She sold it as a miracle hair treatment. I paid about $40 for it and figured it would be worth the money if she was right! OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector -Limited Edition The reason I’m giving this product 3 stars is because over a year later I’ve barely used half the bottle because I find it’s application so inconvenient. I can hardly find the time for it or remember to use it weekly. It may very well work miracles, but for me I haven’t used it regularly and not surprisingly haven’t noticed a difference. How to use Olaplex No 3: I guess it is similar to using a hair mask, which I don’t have in my regular routine either. Wet hair. Towel dry. Apply a generous amount from roots to tips. Leave in at least 10 minutes. Rinse with shampoo & conditioner. Use at least weekly. I find this very time consuming. Im a busy mom. Getting a 15min shower in feels like win. Having the time to wet hair, apply, wait, rinse just never happens for me. I’m going to stick to leave in conditioner products. ❌ Definitely will not repurchase and will likely not even finish this bottle

Olaplex on Natural Hair: Believe the Hype?
Olaplex on Natural Hair: Believe the Hype?
I have seen this product before but I was certain that it likely wasn’t for my type of hair because, well let’s be honest, most salon products aren’t really geared towards ethnic hair...certainly not in it’s natural state. 🤷🏽‍♀️ However, after moving from the curly hair friendly climate of Miami and into the not so forgiving temperatures of NYC, I had to find a solution for my stressed tresses. I’ve had terrible breakage lately and needed a fix fast. So after much hesitation, I decided to take the leap (and spend a little $$$) after researching and reading a ton of reviews. Not going to lie...$28 for 3 ounces of product was....not appealing...AT ALL. Anyone with thick or curly hair knows how product can disappear in there lol. So I got 2...just in case lol. 💸💸😩🤣 On application to my damp (not shampooed) hair, I was quite surprised that it only took 1/3 of the the container to coat my hair (I sectioned in 4 parts to be thorough). I left it in overnight, rinsed it out, then shampooed and conditioned as usual. Guys. I have become a believer in Olaplex. Immediately after the initial rinse, my hair felt pillow soft. I was still skeptical thinking this silky feeling would wash away with shampooing. It did not. Ummm...wow. This is nice. Also major points...I ONLY SHED A FRACTION OF A FRACTION OF THE NORMAL AMOUNT OF HAIR DURING WASH & DETANGLING. HUGE! This stood out most because it has bothered me to see so much shed hair lately and I almost shed none in this wash! I now believe the hype, so for any other curly girls out there looking for a fix to damaged and breaking hair...this is worth a try. Holy Grail, dare I say?!

Olaplex No.3 to the RESCUE!!!
Olaplex No.3 to the RESCUE!!!
Olaplex No. 3 Perfector Hair Treatment, it repairs dry, brittle hair by relinking broken bonds caused from chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. From my experience and having some cosmetology background, olaplex is the only product out there that has been proven to work from the inside out in your hair! It is definitely a revolutionary and patented technology within the formula! Like I said, it is the only one formula out there that works like this! Olaplex has been proven in the beauty community, for example, people whom used to get perms, would fear to do any bleaching process do to the damage, now with olaplex in the market, process such as perms and bleach can be done with olaplex to help with the integrity of the hair! Amazing right???? And the best part, the product was founded in my home town of Santa Barbara Ca! 🤪❤️ Consider it your at-home treatment that'll transform straw-like hair to silky shiny🥰OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector -Limited Edition

Maintaining Your Blonde in Between Appointments
Maintaining Your Blonde in Between Appointments
This is my routine for caring for my bleached balayage hair while I am unable to go to the salon to get it touched up. I have tried many different purple shampoos: dpHUE, amika, and even Joico’s blue shampoo, but my absolute favorite is Redken’s purple shampoo! It smells amazing first of all, but also tones my brassiness SO much! Something that I only recently learned is that the longer you let it sit on your hair, the better it works. So now I apply it very first thing in the shower and let it sit while I do other things. This tones my hair for at least a week, so I only use it maybe every other time I wash my hair. Something else you can do to prep your hair for your next appointment is to keep it strong and healthy by using the Olaplex conditioning treatment. I use this about 2-3 times per month because it comes in such a small bottle and I want it to last! This is not just a conditioning treatment, it repairs the bonds in your hair that are broken when it gets bleached, so it really helps build back up the strength of your hair. These two products will keep you brass-free and ready for your next appointment!

MY HOLY GRAILS FOR COARSE HAIR
MY HOLY GRAILS FOR COARSE HAIR
I still haven’t gotten around to getting my hair cut after lockdown, and as a result my normally straight and smooth hair is feeling pretty coarse, especially the ends. Here are some products that I’ve found help make my hair look and feel much better! Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Hair Serum This oil and silicone-based hair serum comes in a pump bottle that dispenses the perfect amount of serum for my hair. I usually apply 1 to 1 ½ pumps of hair serum, any more than that and it can weigh my hair down. It contains a mix of plant oils including: Argan, Camellia, Coconut, Apricot, Marula, Jojoba, and Olive Oil. My tip for this product is to apply it to slightly damp hair, then blow dry for maximum shine and smoothness. It has a floral smell (which I love) and a single bottle seems to last a really, really long time.I bought mine in Korea in January this year and I’m barely a quarter of the way through it now, so it will last me a while! L’Oreal Elvive/Elseve Extraordinary Oil Conditioner A good conditioner helps smooth coarse hair, too. This one also has a lot of plant oils to condition hair and make it smooth and silky. It also has a floral yet sweet scent that I love—I love nice-smelling hair care, okay?! I apply a pretty generous amount to my lengths and ends of hair (never roots, that’s how you get greasy flat roots). I’ve actually repurchased this many times before and I’ll continue to buy it (until I get bored of the scent, that is…) Both of these are affordable, drugstore picks that I’d happily recommend to anyone that’s looking for great hair care that smooths down coarse hair.

How to Care for Long, Thin and Bleached Hair ☀️
How to Care for Long, Thin and Bleached Hair ☀️
I have very long and thin bleached hair so it gets very dry easily and also can get extra oily at times with regular washing. I wash it in the morning, brush it through and let it air dry after adding in some products below! 1. Add Hydration ✨Bleach dries out hair like no other so adding hydration back into your hair is going to be important. I use a variety of products for this. One thing I like is to use really nourishing shower products like the Olaplex conditioner. These products are gorgeous and make my hair feel better and softer. Their unique technology repairs hair from within. ✨Another product I love is the Gisou hair oil which is good for hydration but also styling if you’re just leaving your hair down for the day. It smells amazing and the honey is great for hair. It tames flyaways, somehow just makes hair look better and hydrated. ✨Hair masks can also be very useful and Olaplex has one too. I also like the Amika hair masks for extra hydration and try to use these at least once a week to repair and hydrate. 2. Detangle ✨One product I love to use right after washing is the leave in conditioner spray by It’s a 10! This has so many uses, hence the name, but I love the smell, nourishing and detangling properties of this the most. The detangler aspect is also useful so I’m not causing unnecessary damage when brushing if I have knots. 3. Take a Hair Supplement ✨After starting my first, I’ve found that my hair definitely grows faster and feels better than before! I use Hush & Hush supplements. They have them for hair, daily vitamins and one that is super amazing for nighttime if you’re struggling with relaxing and sleeping. You can use my name as a code to save money too if you’d like (“chelsea”). This is important because you’re giving your body what it needs and more to care for your hair health and also your body. 4. Use Products with Extra Heat Protection ✨I personally like Amika’s The Wizard because it smells amazing and does the job. Generally, temperatures over 450 F won’t break or damage hair but I avoid lots of heat and styling just because my hair is already damaged and dry, but when I do I always use products with extra protection. Regular hair cuts help too to prevent additional breakage at the bottom!
