CHA-HELL-NO, Chanel. Look Chanel, I love you. If I become a mcmillionaire, best believe I’ll be rocking a Chanel boy bag and own a couple of Chanel tweed jackets to wear when I’m making money moves. BUT. Sis, this “highlighter” does nothing for me except make it look like I have a oil stain on my face. The CHANEL - BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick is NOT “essentiel” for anyone’s makeup bag if they want to have glowing skin for the gods. If I want glowing glass like skin, you know what I dew. The Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid that’s who and layer on the Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter That’s the true combo for glass like glow sis. PERIODT. So Chanel, I need you to gather your R&D who worked on this product and send them back to the lab because this product... ain’t it sis. (Side note: Chanel, if my Cherie account goes off and I get a ton of following, just know this post comes from a place of love and awe. 😂😅 Just covering my tracks.) Anywho, if you made it to the end of this post, go on and hit that 👏🏼 for me mama! If you like what I have to say, give the same 👏🏼 to my other posts! LYLAS4EVA if you do. ❤️ But on a serious note, thanks for sticking around and reading my reviews. Xoxo 💋 #CheriePartner
EXTREME Quarantine Glow-Up✨💖💨 #CheriePartner
I’m gonna be honest- I put on makeup maaaybe 1-2 times per week to go out. Wearing a mask everyday means I focus mainly on only my eye makeup as it’s the only part of me people can see. But it’s always mood-boosting to put on some makeup, fix up my hair and walk around the house with a “full on” look! The picture on the left is me basically on most days. I have all my skincare products on, my SPF and a sheer skin tint like ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 . It’s my favorite skin tint for most days because it’s sheer and adds a little extra SPF. My hair is also a greasy mess because it’s usually in a bun on top of my head. The picture on the right is me with my old “go-to face of makeup”, slightly waved hair and a white linen shirt. I say old “go-to” because it’s not my “normal” look for everyday anymore! I have no place to go! *sigh* This look consists of: ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W A medium coverage concealer that offers a smooth, radiant finish on the skin. HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio A creamy, pigmented and long-wearing set of cream cheek products to bronze, blush and highlight. CHANEL - BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick A high-shine highlight stick that has zero glitter and offers a reflective finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil A super skinny brow pencil with a waxy formula that can draw on hair-like strokes through the brow. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel A whipped brow gel with amazing hold- and super affordable! DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner The best waterproof, extremely pigmented liquid eyeliner that doesn’t smudge, flake or bleed! MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara A high-hold waterproof mascara that keeps your lashes long, volumized and curled all day. Hair: ghd - Rose Gold Platinum+ Styler Set I put a few waves in my hair by bending a section of hair backwards and forwards. This creates a super soft wave effect for naturally volumized hair. Nature Lab. - Perfect Shine Oil Mist This lightweight, shine-boosting oil is a heat-protectant and style finisher all-in one! What is your go-to routine for a “Glow Up”?
Can someone tell me why I’m mentally conditioned to want to buy ANYTHING new Glossier releases?? Regardless of whether I actually want it or need it?? And then once I get it I end up ALSO getting like every other thing that I may or may not have emptied yet? What should we call this?? Glossi-itis?? Glossi-ism?? Anyway. I got the new fig balm dot com bc idk about y’all but I do love me some figs!! Deets on my haul: Since I’ve worn zero makeup in the last 8 months I had to re-up on my boy brow since my old one is crusty and dried up. I still feel like there are better brow products out there but again...Glossier-itis came for me. Glossier. - Boy Brow I’ve been trying the new Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara recently and it looks GOOD when it’s on but zang it does NOT stay on and smudges everywhereeeee. So of course I had to go back to the Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara bc it just hits different. I have every other cloud paint so I decided to get this one in puff. I hardly ever use them...but have them anyway.....Glossi-ism..Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color If you also suffer from this condition, make sure you get a bundle for the 3 products above to at least protect your coin and not let this problem destroy you financially. Glossier. - The Makeup Set And finally for what I actually intended to buy... Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig. It has a tint to it that you can’t see bc I have darker lips 👄 but idgaf bc I love figs. It doesn’t smell as much like a fig as I’d like though, but there is something deep down inside me that is letting that slide bc the colors are an actual vibe and I’m here for it....Glossiorder??? If you have any other names for this Glossier induced condition that I’m sure many suffer from, feel free to leave a comment! And best of luck to you on your journey to recovery (lol, like that’s going to happen bc they launched new body hero today and I’m like......👀👀👀👀)
Brow gel: COLOURPOP versus GLOSSIER
Tinted brow gels are my GO-TO for an easy, effortless look and it’s a staple in my daily makeup routine. I honestly feel naked without it on a day I opt to wear makeup. I have been using Glossier’s Boy Brow gel in Brown since.....forever. This product was the first product I’ve tried from Glossier and it made me a loyal customer ever since. However, I’ve been seeing some chatter in the cherie community about the Colourpop dupe for boy brow and I saw that it is less than HALF the price. So, I decided to try! I went to a few Ultas and the brown tint was sold out, so I knew it had to be good. When I finally hunted it down, I immediately tried when I got home and OH. MY. GOD. I LOVEEEE it. It’s cheaper, more tinted, and applies like a dream. The wand/brush is softer and does a great job of applying the product and making it look natural. There’s literally no need to be paying $16 for a product when a $7 does it better. Packaging is the same, quality is better, and it’s easier to find (when Ulta isn’t sold out of it 🤣) I’m fully convinced that this is better than Boy Brow. Glossier’s product may have been my first love but I’ve now moved on to a better and cheaper product 💅🏼 thank u, next!
The perfect cream bronzer.
I finally found it, this iconic bronzer is worth every penny.. and ALL the hype. It’s creamy and blendable but it doesn’t smudge. Every time I use a cream bronzer it ends up rubbing off my face quite easily and this one STAYS. It’s matte but has a sheer finish where you can still see your skin underneath! Have you tried this and do you want to?
⏰ A 5 min post dedicated to a 5 min face ⏰
My regular, usual, everyday face-done in probably 4 minutes 59 seconds 🙃 BUT WAIT 🤚 Before we even start, please for the love of all that is holy start by: -wash your face (duh) -moisturize/serum/etc -SPF (don’t mess around with sun damage) And back to those deets: 1️⃣ Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 2️⃣ SOAP BROWS with Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils& it Cosmetics - Brow Power Waterproof Perfector 3️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek 4️⃣ ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara 5️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter And that’s it folks! Honestly though as I get older I get lazier on the whole makeup bit and more into the whole taking care of my skin but (see the note about SPF above). (& if you’re all like “🧼 SOAP BROW 🧼?!?” Don’t worry-that’s a story for another time)
Containing the Sunshine in Look 🌞🍂
This was my look for my man’s birthday today 🎉 we went to a VR arcade and it was sunny, so I was feeling virtuous. I have an almond shaped and a bit of a creased/folded eye, so doing graphic liner like this is a bit of a challenge to make sure I don’t leave smears on the eye folds. I make sure to glide the eyeliner over the part of the eye that won’t fold much during most of my regular movements. The makeup used here is SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer In Caramel, as an eye primer for longer lasting eyeshadow ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Grid Gemstone Palette I love this palette made with crystals, it’s such a smooth formula - I used the gold shadows from this MAYBELLINE - Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner This isn’t the exact one I got, as it’s pretty old. But I was trying to get one of my “clean beauty” liquid eye liners to work & it didn’t glide as fast as this one 🤪 pretty strong hold throughout the day too, just a little too liquidity maybe bc it’s been opened for a few months...tho now that I think about it, I should have shook it!! Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Love this, buildable volume ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara Used this too separate the eyelashes to fan em out a little more 🦚 #CheriePartner
Natural-looking brows 🌸
I used to be into the Instagram brow trend and would have super defined brows. Lately, I've been loving a more natural look. I now only use two products for my brows: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen Lime Crime - Bushy Brow Strong Hold Gel 1st step: I draw hair-like strokes using the ABH brow pen in the shade soft brown. Be careful! It dispenses a lot of product and the shade soft brown is actually quite dark. 2nd step: I use the Limecrime Bushy Brow Gel in the shade baby brown and gently brush my brows upwards. My brows are quite full, but this brow gel holds all day. 3rd step: Using a small concealer brush, I use a tiny amount of concealer to clean under the brows if necessary.
THE PERFECT LOOK AND NATURAL HAIR PUFF
So I came up with this natural hair puff using hertexturedHair and this bomb beat using these products! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Glossed Lip Gloss ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen MILANI - Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer
full face of Kosas!

I have oily skin and it works great! these are the products I used: 1. Too Faced - Primed & Peachy Primer 2. Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation Shade 5 3. Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer shade 4 4. Kosas - Color & Light: Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo in 8th Muse 5. HOURGLASS - Arch Brow Micro Sculpting Pencil 6. A full face in just 10 minutes!
Happy Friday, cherie fam! I don’t know about you, but my friday makeup tends to be especially quick and easy. Anyone who has a zoom call with me on fridays can deal with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) I wanted to share the makeup I put on this morning in just under ten minutes! The finished look is casual, put together, and glowy, and my real skin is still visible under the light makeup. Basic info about my skin: I’m oily and acne prone, and my main concerns right now are dark circles and hyperpigmentation from acne. I also have sparse brows and I like to fill them in—if I do nothing else, I’ll do my brows because I feel naked without them 😂 Here’s a step by step, including all the products I used: First, I apply a few drops of the Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation all over my face, blending it into my hairline and neckline. I’ve reviewed this before, so I won’t go into detail here, but I love it! I just spread it and pat it in with my fingers—no beauty blender/brush needed. Next, I use the Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes. Scroll back a few posts for my thoughts on this concealer and why it’s worth repurchasing! Third, I apply the cream blush from the Kosas - Color & Light: Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo on the apples of my cheeks. I usually use a brush, but I can use my fingers in a pinch. I have the color Helios and it’s such a beautiful deep orange shade. The formula itself is very creamy and nourishing—it really feels like skincare AND makeup. I set everything with a light dusting of the Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder . I love this powder, and it’s lasting me FOREVER even with daily use, but I desperately want them to improve the packaging 😩 The mesh makes it difficult to get the product out at times. I do my brows with a few quick swipes of the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel , my holy grail brow gel. This is the only product on my brows and LOOK how it fills them in! I do a quick coat of the bareMinerals - Lashtopia Mega Volume Mineral-Based Mascara to add length and volume to my lashes. This mascara last alllll day without flaking at all on me. Last, I swipe on some nooni - Appleberry Lip Oil , and I’m done! I LOVE this tinted oil—it feels very hydrating without being sticky, and it’s an incredible bargain compared to other tinted lip oils out there (I got it for $12 on amazon). It has a pink tint and a subtle berry flavor. And that’s it! All of these products are so simple to use, making them perfect for a quick and easy makeup look. #CheriePartner
Look well-rested and glowy in 10 minutes! ✨
Okay so, I woke up at 2:00 am to watch my boys (BTS) perform live and although I had a great time and loved watching them on stage my face shows I got like 4 hours of sleep, so I thought this is the perfect time to show how to look like you actually got a healthy 8 hrs of sleep and looking fresh 😌 Let’s start with skin, I went with one of my favorite products to bring back light to my face. The ohii - Wake Up Pen reminds me of the infamous YSL Touché éclat, but it’s of course not as esspensive 😇 this universal highlight can be used as an eye brightened and on the high points of the face as good ol’ highlighter. It’s vegan, and perfect to fake that fresh-faced look I adore. After applying that I went in with my one and only DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer I’ve raced about this so much, y’all know I love this. Next I used the ohii - Cheek Smudge in Flush to fake a rosy glow. This dewy blush is perfect to add glow and color to the cheeks. Flush is a soft rose pink that I think looks really cute on my yellow/neutral undertone. I love that this is very easy to build up, it doesn’t move my foundation or concealer and it looks super glowy and fresh. I also used the KALEIDO COSMETICS - Glow Balm - Lip & Cheek Jelly in watermelon on the high points of my cheeks to add more dewiness, I have swatches of this on another post if you wanna check it out! I did my brows with my favorite pen, the Lime Crime - Bushy Brow Precision Pen its the best brow pen I’ve tried, super easy to use! And also used the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel I’m honestly not such a huge fan of this brow gel but I couldn’t find my Elf wow brow so I went with this. It leaves my brows looking too stiff for my taste. For mascara I used another favorite, the wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara this is such a lovely everyday mascara. It lengthens and lifts lashes beautifully, I have the waterproof version and it doesn’t smudge on me or flakes. It’s one of the best mascara I’ve used ever. And it’s less than $5. I also used my peripera - Ink Pocket Shadow Palette I cant recall the name of this quad right now, and it’s only written in Korean, but I used the bottom right shadow. Lastly, for lips I used the Kosas - Wet Lip Oil Gloss I like this because it looks really pretty on, it feels very conditioning and long lasting and I really love the scent. It smells like orange bread with vanilla icing to me, and it reminds me of my childhood so maybe it’s just the nostalgia factor that does it for me. I do think, however, that is a bit pricey for the amount of product you get. Kosas reasoning for this is that this is a lip treatment and a ‘gloss’ second, but I’ve found a similar product that is like $10 cheaper and performs about the same. And that’s that! #CheriePartner
Kosas Lip Oil
Happy Tuesday my loves. 🥰 Wanted to share some new lippies I got from @kosas that I’m loving! This is the Mini Wet Set Clean Lip Oil Trio, it retails for $25. I’m definitely happy I picked up this set.👏🏼 What have you tried from Kosas? Kosas - The Wet Set Clean Lip Oil Trio Kosas - Wet Lip Oil Gloss
Here's this morning’s routine with some first impressions on my new products: 🇫🇮 Lumene Beauty Drops: Vitamin C, lingonberry, cloudberry. These goldfish shaped satchets are packaged for daily use and filled with a silky serum that leaves a primer-like smooth finish. The silicone feeling is comparable to my favorite YSL Touche Éclat, it has vitamin C for preventing photoaging, and it smells like berries. Love! ✨heimish Artless Glow Base: SPF50/PA+++. I was expecting to love this, but it’s just OK. I like the SPF, but I was expecting a more illuminating payoff. I use the bareminerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel Cream on top. ☁️glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk: I love how this rusty-peach color sheers on my tan skin! It’s a bit hard to control how much cream comes out of the tube, but this lovely color is almost impossible to overdo. 👦glossier Boy Brow in Brown: I never used to do anything with my brows, but this has left me forever changed! This thickens my brows and holds them in place, but it looks so…natural. I usually side-eye anything that reaches Boy Brow’s level of hype, but its accolades are totally deserved.

Yes I Know: glossier again, really Still I bought into the hype because it fits my makeup style: simple, versatile, and supports my lazy lifestyle of 5 minute makeup max! Glossier. - The Makeup Set There are a lot of products that gained hyped but in the end I chose to buy something simple: The Glossier Makeup Set! It came with Boy Brow, Lash Slick, and the infamous Cloud paint! Here some Pros about these goodies: ✨✨✨ #1. Easy-FRICKIN-peasy, Lemon-FRICKIN-squeezy application I have been trying to grasp makeup for years but ya girl is like level -0 when it comes to applying makeup so this makes it simple #2. Product texture When applying each the product I appreciated the creamy texture that allowed for you to build the product without it: a) looking cakey b) clumping up! So you can make the look, look as natural as you want to be! #3. If you’re in a hurry, then this is for you girlie I am late to everything. No matter how early I get up, no matter how much time I take the night before to prepare, tardiness runs in my blood. But I can do this little routine in 3 minutes, so at the very least I’m not late and looking like a bum. #4. Cute, coordinating, but not flashy product This is not a big issue, but I like my routine (hair, makeup, lip) to be and look relatively portable and simple. ⚡️What I no Like: Cons⚡️ 1) For the Boy Brow there’s so much product I have to wipe some off the wand before I use it a little goes a long way for me 2)The longevity of these products are questionable. because of the versatility, it’s questionable whether these products will hold up for even a month 3) My cheeks are sensitive, and sort of didn’t play so well with the paint My cheeks are so indecisive (since I have combination skin), and the paint did bring out the texture on my skin **I chose to model this on my baby sister, because she’s natural cutie and adorable canvas. I dabbed some cloud paint, on her cheeks, eyelids, and lips 👄. And I put bow brow on her eyebrows and lashes! So cuuuuute (as she always is) 💓😘 The blush is in shade storm and the Boy Brow in brown!
Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek
Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek These well loved lip + cheek tints were my first introduction into cream blushes, and my first successful attempt at applying blush. The berry shade is Quickie and the dusty rose shade is Werk. You get so much product in these tubes that I don’t think I’ll ever run out, so they’re absolutely worth their money. These look great on both the lips and the cheeks. I use Quickie on both most often, as I think Werk is a little too pale for my lips. Both of these give me a natural flush and are easy to apply. I run my fingers on the top and tap to blend into my cheeks. In the future I would probably choose the mini versions since I travel for work and these are fairly bulky, but if you don’t live in a tiny cabin on a cruise ship, I’d say get your money’s worth and go for the full size! Kosas made my new favorite concealer
As a celebrity makeup artist and clean beauty enthusiast for a decade, you’d think I would have a lot of great concealer options to tell you about. Not so much. But this new launch from Kosas is really freakin good. It has great coverage. Not too heavy, not too light. It blends easily It creates a seamless finish if you get your shade matched right It’s hydrating and doesn’t leave me cakey looking I can’t upload the video I made about it in this post, so I’ll do it in a stand alone post next so you can see how quick it is to blend, and how the coverage is. 💜

Makeup pretties! Klairs Mochi BB Cushion 🌷 Can we take a moment to appreciate how cute this is 😍 It's a BB cushion with SPF 40 that gives a light to medium, natural finish. You can actually use it 3 different ways depending if you want moisture or coverage! (swipe 👉 to see). It only comes in 1 "universal" tone (which is a bit light for my medium beige skin) but I like how lightweight it feels and how nicely it evens out my skin and covers redness 😊 Some beneficial ingredients include centella! 🌿 It also features a twist case which is really neat to prevent evaporation. So if your skintone is light to medium and you want a natural finish cushion with SPF AND adorable packaging, this could be the perfect cushion for you! 😁 theyeon Rosy Lip in color Rose Buds 🌷 I was surprised at how pigmented the color is! It's a pretty red and leaves a light stain behind. Pretty moisturizing too (though not as much as a lip balm imo). The case is sooo cute and has a mirror! 16brand Eye Magazine (Everyday) 🌷 Loved the concept of it, you're supposed to very quickly and conveniently swipe once to get a gradient eyeshadow effect. However it took me a lot of YouTube tutorials and practice to achieve it 😂 which I wouldn't have minded if the coral color was almost completely unnoticeable on me! 😭 Such a shame because otherwise I would keep using it. I'm curious about their nice colors 😊 apieu Pastel Blusher Marymond Edition 🌷 Suuuuper cute case with 3 peachy red colors. I don't use blush enough to compare their quality 😅 but I really like the middle more pinkish color! Gives a natural look 😊 Have you tried any of these?? 💕
16brand-16 brand Eye Magazine Eye shadow (#1 Everyday)
glossier haul ✨ I pretty much use the lidstars and niteshine everyday! I am not completely in love with the lidstar shadows because they were hard to work with at first, but I’m slowly learning how to apply and build them up better - I do wish it was a more effortless process to get some good coverage with them tho. The niteshine highlight is GORGE and a teeny tiny bit goes a long way! My friend highly recommended the skin perfecting tint and it is amazing! i love how light the coverage looks AND feels. So glowy & dewy 🤤 As for the lash slick, it is lengthening without being clumpy, but be warned that it will not let your lashes to hold a curl!!! I like to curl my lashes before applying mascara and this guy won’t allow it 😭
