Saved my Dry Skin: Moisturizing Night Cream
I’ve been fighting some stress-induced acne lately but have never had my skin so dewy and plump since I switched to using this cream at night. This product also has an incredibly impressive ingredient list, featuring: Glycerine Squalane 2 types of hyaluronic acid Antioxidant: palmaria palmata extract (red algae) These are all really great for your skin and help the moisture really penetrate rather than just resting on the surface of your skin. My skin feels slightly sweaty when I first apply this product but within ten minutes my skin drinks up all the moisture and feels soft and amazing. I just allow my skin time to do this before I use my PM oils to keep things from being a mess! This product is safe for my sensitive/reactive eczema prone skin! It has no fragrance (artificial or natural) whatsoever and it’s absolutely gorgeous in texture. I have included and unedited photo of my skin right now ACTUALLY not extremely dry for once. I can’t speak to the anti-aging/fine line reducing claims of this product because I am only 26 years old and have a lot of collagen in my “baby” face and don’t have any fine lines yet. But from an ingredient standpoint you probably aren’t going to see a ton of improvement from hydration alone. I’d recommend a retinol or bakuchiol in your routine for that (they also have one I haven’t tried that is supposed to be quite gentle). My skin is absolutely in love with this product and it’s only $19.99 USD per container (and a little goes a long way)! I continue to be so impressed with the Versed brand and how they emphasize sustainability and look forward to trying more of their products!

These are my new skin care goodies🥰😍I just got them last week, but I am really loving these Versed products. I’ve never tried this brand before but I am super pleased so far, I only had them for 1 week but the Versed skin soak is very hydrating and really does soak right into skin so it doesn’t leave skin oily or greasy at all. The same goes for the Versed eye cream, very hydrating - as for any anti-aging benefits it’s too soon to tell. I will continue to use this eye cream & post an update. I use the Versed skin soak & eye cream during my nighttime routine. As for the Glam Glow eye cream ; I have used Glam Glow products for years & I’ve always enjoyed them; same goes for this eye cream ! It’s nice & light , eyes feel hydrated & it has a slight pinkish hue that slightly helps under eye discoloration- I have only been using this during my day time routine & it plays nice under makeup. I will post an update on what benefits I see with continued use🙂
MY OH MY! THE SKIN QUENCHER!
You guys, I’ve been searching for a moisturizer that actually hydrates my skin. I have severely dry skin, and have been through so many products but this product right here...is GOODT. Very happy I’ve found it. I’ve been using it in the morning and at night, it doesn’t leave my skin greasy (even though I don’t mind that because I need all the moisture I can get 😭). Also, it is about $18 but definitely worth the price point at Target. This brand claims to be vegan and cruelty free, also free from parabens, silicones, sulfates. INGREDIENTS: VITAMIN E SQUALANE HYALURONIC ACID SODIUM HYALURONATE RED ALGAE EXTRACT 100% RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WITH DRY SKIN ✨VERSED - SKIN SOAK Rich Moisture Cream
This cream by Avene is made with thermal spring water and is really rich and hydrating 💦 I typically use it in the evenings after cleanser and toner. I enjoyed the texture and scent, and appreciate how long the jar lasts but after a few months I’ve started to notice my face is itchy when I wear it. I checked the ingredients and it has mineral oil and fragrance, so perhaps my skin just doesn’t agree. It’s formulated for sensitive skin though, so if you don’t have an issue with these two ingredients I’d say it’s a great buy! 😌
Avène-Eau Thermale Revitalizing Nourishing Cream
Purchased this because so many skincare bloggers were talking about this product, I bought the smaller size in case I didn’t like it. It was a bit heavy for my face but I loved it on the dry patches and eczema on my body! Ended up gifting it to my mom who is OBSESSED with it
WELEDA-Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream
Skin Food, a water in oil emulsion, has followed the same recipe for nearly one hundred years, making it a cult classic. When Weleda’s CEO travelled to health stores around the world, he got the directive to make more skin food. Thus, Skin Food Light was born. Helianthus Annuus oil, beeswax, shea butter and lanolin help to seal humectants and moisture into the skin, protecting trans-epidermal water loss, whilst pansy, calendula and chamomile calm the skin. My usual mantra is to avoid drying alcohols and essential oils, as these tend to flare up my rosacea. Both the original and light version contain these ingredients, and I have no idea why, but I find these actually reduce any redness. I love to use the original Skin Food at night, and it’s Light sister during the day. I presumed that as it was labelled ‘light’ it wouldn’t be as moisturising as it’s counterpart, but I was totally wrong - it really is just as moisturising, and the only difference to me is the texture.

VERSED GEL-CREAM MOISTURIZER
@versed dew point moisturizer is a gel-cream moisturizer that seems very basic but it’s actually SO good. It literally feels exactly like how you would think a gel-cream would be like, but has a more watery texture once applied to the skin and is extremely refreshing and hydrating. I love keeping it in my my skincare fridge and I usually use it in the morning, which really wakes up my skin and gives it the extra plump is needs. I also appreciate that it’s non-greasy and never leaves a sticky residue. I think this moisturizer is great for all skin types, as it is not overly heavy nor is it too lightweight. If you’re dry, it’ll definitely give you the hydration you need. If you’re oily/combo, it’ll help balance out your skin and give you just enough hydration. It’s also very gentle and those with sensitive, acne-prone skin should be ok with it too (as someone who struggled with both, I personally haven’t had any problem with it). I’ve been using this product since the end of summer and I absolutely love it. I can definitely see myself repurchasing it over and over again. If you’re looking for a new moisturizer that is extremely affordable ($15!!!!), then I highly recommend checking this baby out! It may also be important to note that versed is clean, cruelty-free and vegan ☺️ VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
Happy #TextureTuesday y’all! I hope this week is doing you all some good lol 😂 For me, starting tomorrow it will be extra busy until the weekend so 🙃🙃🙃 This lovely lush and yellow texture is brought to you buy the @sundayriley ice ceramide moisturizing cream. I have heard a lot of good things about the brand’s products and a lot of negative things about the brand itself. I have never tried anything from this brand and whenever I went over to their little section at Sephora to test out their infamous oils, I was kind of turned off by their scents. I am very sensitive to smells and I just couldn’t stand how their oils smelled. Maybe because their testing products have been out for a while and maybe it’s bc they went bad? Idk do they normally smell that bad? Anyways, @cherie kindly gifted me this Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream and I was blown away by the packaging. It felt so luxe and heavy and well very promising. As soon as I opened the lid to see the consistency, I smelled play-dough. Like straight up play-dough. Is it just me? 😭 This cream is geared towards normal to dry skin and I have oily skin so I knew instantly that it probably won’t work for me. Y’all she is THICC like T H I C C! This cream is said to be formulated with ceramide that hydrates and strengthens the skin’s barrier from environmental stressors. I tried a pea sized amount and that was more than enough to put all over my face and neck. I tested this cream out in the morning when I went out for a jog in the colder weather and I have to say, it did a great job! Like my face didn’t feel tight at all. It was well moisturizers but I did notice that my face also felt a bit greasy when I came home. And I could still smell the play-dough scent! So I passed this cream to my mom who has dry skin and so far she has been loving it. It comes with this little scooper thing and she says she doesn’t mind the play-dough smell. 🥰 What are your experiences with this brand? I am curious to know if their oils are really HG for people and if so, do they normally smell that bad?

Kiehls face cream
Now this was a fine cream but just didn’t wow me, it’s light and unscented so would be perfect for people who have sensitive skin or combo oily too. I just have other creams I love and I can’t do light creams in the winter at all, I like my skin to be blasted with as much hydration as I can. I just hate the feeling of dry skin, yuck! 4/5 because it’s a nice cream and it would work out great for some people but again just didn’t stand out to me, it’s probably not good for my skin but I do like a little pleasant scent in my face creams
