IF YOU HAVE ECZEMA YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!!
I have struggled with eczema all of my life. Fortunately, when I was little it wasn’t too bad, but the past couple of years it’s been a different story. My eczema was mainly around my forearm and it was BAD. I had so many bloody scabs and scars on my arm. I was so insecure I only wore long sleeves to cover it up. I can totally relate to all of you guys who have bad eczema too. But, I have found one product that cured ALL my eczema with in 1 month! It is called the Kamedis Dermatology Eczema Therapy Cream. I am so so so happy that my dad found this product for me. I tried all of the products in the picture and more, but none worked except this one. It is very affordable and so much better for you than products like hydrocortisone. I definitely recommend this product to everyone who has eczema. But keep in mind that everyone is different and this could not work for you. Please make sure to cheer this post of you like it!

No amount of your most expensive body lotion is going to be better than this. I have tried so many body lotions for my dry as hell legs and nothing has been able to replace this. If sensitivity and EXTREME dryness are an actual problem for you, this hasn’t failed me. It will keep even my eczema from looking really ugly. It’s really thick and not as runny so you end up using a lot. It doesn’t feel greasy when it dries but it does feel a little sticky for a while. It will take away the itch and it has a soft smell but it’s really good.

Stone Street Soaphouse Body Cream
I received this product in my recent fabfitfun box. I’m not someone that uses a body cream or lotion every day. I’ve wanted to get better at this, so with this body cream, I’ve been trying to use it more than normal. I love the scent of this, it’s very fresh and warm. Very calming. This soaks into my skin very well and doesn’t leave any residue or weird texture after. I had never heard of this company before and after doing some research I love how natural all of their products are. I would really like to try some of the others things they offer. ✨Absorb Luxury Neroli Body Oil: I have been all about body oils this summer. This high-end, super absorbent body oil leaves my skin feeling dewy, and healthy. It feels a little like silk. It’s very lightweight, but definitely moisturizes and nourishes deeply. Neroli is one of my favorite scents, so this oil seriously smells like heaven to me. It is also formulated with sunflower, jojoba, and Marula oil. This blend is rich in Omega fatty acids and aids in calming redness. 〰️ ✨I really admire brands that have a great mission or initiative. Absorb gives back by supporting women through the production of their bags. The reuse-able cosmetic bag saves some women in India from being forced in the sex slave trade by providing them with a job.
Everyone needs a body butter! The Tree Hut Shea Body Butter is best meant to use after you shower/exfoliate. This allows the body butter to essentially melt into your skin. It’s purpose is to give you effective and noticeable hydrated skin. My review on it: Texture: creamy and thick, but melts into skin nicely. Do I like it: yes, but I don’t use it as often as I should. Would I recommend it?: yes! It’s affordable and should last you a while! Is it worth the price?: 100% yes! It’s only around $8!!! (I got mine even cheaper from TJ Maxx) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll probably start using it more as the weather gets colder and dry. I always forget so have it or if I do remember, I’m already in bed and I don’t want to get up because I’m lazy and comfy😂

When it comes to body oils, I can be pretty picky. I have tried several different oils in the past year and I would definitely say that one of the favorites in my current collection is the Umoya Botanics Nourish Body Oil! ✨ The scent is very light pleasing. I have noticed that it lasts a few hours even though the oil is absorbed by my skin in under five minutes! I never expect the scent to last long when I use oils on my body, but I DO expect the moisture to last all day! ✨ This oil provides my skin with hydration for as long as it is until I shower/wash up. I have also never had any irritations or clogged pores while using this. I like to use this specifically on my legs after shaving because the formula seems to smooth any tiny cuts or razor burn that may have occurred. It makes my legs a shine, but they aren’t ever greasy, just soft! ✨
Do you take baths or are you a shower person? I am definitely a shower girl, but I decided to take at least one bath a week in style . Showers are great, but not as relaxing. Here is my previse Vitamin E Body Oil and verdantalchemy Drift Off Bath Salts 🛀🏼 I will share my thoughts on both as I l have used them quite a few times now. Drift Off Bath Salts by verdantalchemy certainly give the homespa vibe as the scent lingers throughout the entire bath time (strong enough), therefore I find these to work best in the evening as the lavender and vetiver notes are dominant switching on the sleep mode on yours truly. 😌 The pot is quite big and affordable, it retails for £12 I believe. One note, I find the lid cracks quick, but this is something that can be rectified easily by the brand and would be appreciated by me, for that reason it’s a 4⭐️ out of 5⭐️. Other than that, it’s a great vegan and cruelty free product. Vitamin E Body Oil by previse is part of the Zero Fragrance range (vegan, organic, no fragrance or irritant ingredients), was designed by the owner for persons with problematic skin (sensitive, eczema, etc). Comes in a very sleek bottle with a pump, dispenses the right amount of product, no mess and it’s not a rich oil, very light-weight (preferred by moi). Also, absorbs quickly and beautifully into the skin. I like using this straight after bathtime or on my hands after waxing my hands (for extra smoothness). Yes, I have been doing that at home for the last 14 years.😄 I would rate this 5⭐️ out of 5⭐️ PS: Picture was taken when I opened the bath salts a few weeks ago

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
