Mascara for Allergenic and Eczema Prone Skin
I recently started having some health problems and started developing allergic reactions to most mascaras and eye makeup. Basically my eyes would get itchy, eczema breakouts, flake, and my eyelashes would fall out in clumps (I lead a glamorous life, I know). The only mascara I found I could use without issue was Lush’s mascara and I just stuck to that baby until (whomp-whomp) they discontinued it. I think I’ll do a post on my favorite discontinued products later (RIP). I heard some good things about friends about Physician’s Formula and that it’s formulated with sensitive and allergenic skin in mind. I tried this mascara yesterday and wore it a full day full of errands and sweating and it stays on and no allergic reaction!!! Like all more plant-derived mascaras, the formula is more runny and can be quite wet upon application but their brush really helps keep the lashes from sticking together. If you’re going to compare this to some other mascaras on the market (like They’re Real!, Better Than Sex, etc.) you’ll probably not be happy with these aspects of the formula BUT if you’re like me and haven’t even wore mascara for over six months due to severe allergic reactions and eczema flares this is a damn lifesaver. I have very blonde body hair and have missed having visible curled lashes! Love this product! PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Organic Wear Natural Origin Mascara In Black

EMPTY🌱REVAMPED PF MASCARA 🌱
Physicians Formula recently revamped their whole Organic Wear like. They came out with a new foundation, primer, lip products, and more! I was most interested in this mascara, because Tati used to rave about this! I will say, that I do enjoy this but there are some negatives with it. I love the way that my lashes look when I apply this, the lashes are lifted, separated, and lengthened. BUT, the formula ever dries down. So for me, I cannot wear this alone or on my lower lashes. I am also a crier and this just comes right off. I think there are better formulas at a lower cost. I also feel that the extra steps to make this mascara are not worth it. I will not be buying again! ☹️🤷🏼♀️ PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Jumbo Mascara

I was so amazed by the Raw sugar living lip products that I tried that I had to try out their Ultra Nourishing body lotion! 🌱 I really love how light and fresh the scent is and how well it’s absorbed into my skin. It keeps me hydrated and smelling great all day long! It’s going to be a life saver for my eczema this winter! 🍵 🥒 This lotion is a cold pressed plant-based formula infused with a natural blend of certified organic extracts. It is also vegan, cruelty free, and contains no sulphates or paragons. 🌱 For those of you who haven’t seen my previous posts talking about Rawsugarliving, for every product that you buy, they donate a fresh boar of soap to a family in need. Their packaging is made from 25% post consumer recycled plastic and the bamboo caps are sustainable as well! 🥒

Acne coverage that doesn’t give me more acne Bare Minerals Bare Skin Serum Concealer .20oz $29.50 CAD / $22 USD Lots of you have shared that you love this, and I do too! It’s a radiant finish, so unless you have dry skin I recommend using it with a powder. It’s silicone free and it feels really comfortable on - I actually forget I’m even wearing makeup, which is unlike my usual makeup routine. Normally as soon as I walk in the door I am dying to wash my face ASAP, but with this I can chill with it still on if I’m planning on going out again. Another good thing is that it seems like the tube comes with a lot of product and will last a long time.
Healing hand eczema with Codex
Have you guys heard of this clean brand Codex? It’s a seriously amazing brand, they’ve set a new standard on sustainable beauty and clean formulas! I just heard of them and they gifted me a few items that I’m actually falling in love with! Y’all know I keep it real if it isn’t good I’m not with it.... But they have this skinfood cream for face body and hands to treat irritated skin, and damn it has done my hand eczema wonders. Since we’ve been washing our hands like crazy (and dishes) my eczema decided to make an appearance. It’s been tough and I’ve been putting aloe Vera on it, but after two days of Codex’s super skinfood omg. It healed my hands sooo much. In this video you can see my hand eczema dried up, but if you swipe right you’ll see how inflamed it was just two days ago. This cream helped the most with itching because it has calendula. And not itching means less inflammation! I’ll do a post about the brand altogether because I am super impressed!

Avene Thermal Spring Water
Behind this fancy packaging and equally elegant name lies a very simple concept – water in a can. This spray is marketed as a mineral-rich water mist that is used for softening and relieving sensitive skin. It’s formulated with trace minerals and silica to reduce skin irritation. It is also a clean beauty product that is paraben-free, sulfate-free, and hypoallergenic. The injury two ingredients in this product are water and nitrogen. The directions on the back of the van are simply to spray onto your skin before patting dry. To be honest, I think these cans of water are overrated. I mean, come on. It’s literally the equivalent of those toys that you buy at Disney to mist your face. Yes, this spray can is very refreshing especially in the summer. But is it really worth $18.50 for a 10-ounce can? Nope! At the end of the day it’s still a product that you can’t travel with (aerosol cans are a no-no on planes), and it’s just a hyped up product. I received this in a beauty box and wouldn’t recommend it to friends and family. Products like these are just a novelty and aren’t a necessity in my opinion. I’d rate it 3 stars because it works well but isn’t a purchase I’d ever consider making.

Drugstore Products I love: Cetaphil
These have to be one of my favorite makeup wipes. I have super sensitive skin and most makeup wipes burn my skin. These are so gentle and never burn while taking my makeup off with ease. I have used other products by this brand which caused me to want to try these out. Will definitely continue to repurchase! Cetaphil - Skin Cleansing Cloths
