just a pale girl looking for products to deal with dry eczema-prone skin due to chronic illness 👽 longtime makeup lover new skincare lover
When you’re having issues with dryness or skin problems like eczema or psoriasis it’s just good stuff. Gentle unless you’ve damaged your lipid barrier it is honestly a great starting place for most people with sensitive skin. I’m a bigger fan of Eucerin overall for my skin, but it’s still amazing! CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin
CeraVe-Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin
Just a no frills good night time oil. Good for acne prone skin and redness reducing, also has a beatific natural smell to it. I also can’t get over the blue color. And well under $15 you can’t beat it. The oil is so light I’d recommend it for any skin type at night!
ACURE-Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil
Pore PERFECTION for $5.90
I normally can’t use anything that targets the pores because I get horrible reactions due to my sensitive skin and eczema! Recently was reading that this product was safe for sensitive and eczema-prone skin when used in moderation. And for $5.90 no big loss if I couldn’t use it! I mix 1-2 drops in my AM moisturizer and OH MY I am already noticing a visible change in the appearance of my pores! Pore size is genetic and there’s no way to magically change them but this product has helped clean mine and tame some of the blackheads 🥰 I highly recommend it! Some people complain that it is slimy but I rather enjoy the texture. Sensitive skin peeps make sure you start with once a day and mix it in with your moisturizer so you don’t hurt yourself. Also my face does turn a bit red upon application but it goes away quickly. I get much more red just from using my gua sha so overall I’d even recommend this for sensitive people who have a hard time with their pores and blackheads! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

Budget Friendly Amazon Beauty Tools
I LOVE beauty tools but so many of them are ridiculously overpriced!!! I loved the idea of a Luna but the price tag gives me heartburn. Enter these budget friendly tools from Amazon that I feel get the job done! QQutie Facial Cleansing Brush (Silicone, Waterproof, and rechargeable) $24.99 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Let’s talk about the little nose scrubber on the side. Gets in the little annoying nose pores so easily!!! I love this thing. It actually has a sensitive skin side which is pretty rare in the cheap silicone face brushes! I highly recommend it if you’ve been eyeing the Luna but not willing to cough up the cash! Miss Gorgeous Konjac Sponge Set of 5 (Hypoallergenic) $9.99 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have such sensitive skin I can’t use my scrubber every time I wash my face so these konjac sponges really make me feel clean while not hurting my skin! The set comes with a bamboo charcoal sponge, a green tea sponge, a plain konjac sponge, a turmeric sponge, and a pink clay sponge. At about $2/sponge you can’t beat it! Just make sure you hang them to dry so they don’t sit in water! Soft silicone shower brush for sensitive skin set of 2 ($8.99) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m normally into loofas but the idea of all the bacteria growing on them has been stressing me out so I tried these guys! I gave one to my boyfriend as well and honestly they’re just okay. They feel nice on the skin but you really can’t wash any of your sensitive areas with them like you can with a loofa. HEETA Scalp Massager (Turquoise) $5.99 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really nice for thick haired people who can’t get the shampoo to their scalp! I just wish the silicone bristles of this one were a little more scratchy but it’s perfect for sensitive scalp days. Hair Scalp Massager (2 pack, red) $5.59 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The holy grail. Itchy scalp people be prepared. Gets the shampoo in there and honestly I feel like the scalp stimulation has made my hair grow even faster. Helps with dandruff, eczema, psoriasis, you name it. Original Jade Roller and Gua Sha Set (Rose Quartz) $25.98 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My sister got this for me for my birthday and OMG it is a life saver! It pushes my serums and oils into my face beautifully but the amazing life saving effects I was not expecting was how much it has helped my sinuses, facial swelling due to inflammation, and TMJ pain. It has helped so much in relieving my morning face swelling from my chronic illness and really soothes my seasonal sinus pain. The unexpected was it helped my TMJ problems tremendously and released a jaw that was trying to lock up. Probably the priciest or the bunch but I can’t recommend it enough! I also see similar sets at TJ Maxx quite often so keep your eyes peeled! Hope these budget tool reviews help my beauty obsessed friends on a budget!!! 💕💕💕
Fragrance Alert 🚨
I hate when products advertise as natural and then dump added fragrance in their face products!!! The texture is fine but it smells overwhelmingly sunscreeny and perfumed. Works for sun protection but greasy for under makeup and irritating to my eczema. Expected more when they slap dermatologist recommended on everything!!! A rose-scented dream
I am admittedly obsessed with anything rose scented and had yet to find a good rose scented lip balm! Enter this product. A creamy balm that is so hydrating and soothing without being sticky!!! The rose scent is lovely, but not overpowering. HOWEVER if you are not a fan of rose scent they also have an unscented and a mint scent (I haven’t used them yet) but I highly recommend this formula! FAVORITE EYE MASKS 💚
I use to not use eye masks/patches and to be honest I don’t have a lot of eye masks since I use eye serums/cream but when I found this and bought it on my birthday last March, I fell in love! . . This is PACIfICA - Leave Pretty Anti-Puff Eye Patches is a skincare product for the eyes that incorporates synergistic beneficials. You use these patches as spot treatments on areas that need extra love including puffy under eyes and dark circles. The main target concerns for this eye mask are for puffy under eyes & dark circles. Unlike other eye gel mask/patches, this nicely sticks to you and doesn’t slide off. If I remember correctly, it has the same texture as any face sheet masks. ••• I really love this eye mask, I will say however that one patch was too big on my under eyes so what I like to do is split one “leaf” eye patch into two and use that (so instead of one mask session, I get to use it twice! I just stick it back in the fridge). I mean when I used it during the time my eyes were puffy, it really calmed it down. As for dark circle, I personally think it wouldn’t disappear in one day, but it did make me look nicer and less haggard. . . I really love the ingredients in this eye mask and I really do recommend for you to check them out! If you love these key ingredients: 💚 BLUE TANSY: Rich in antioxidants. Helps soothe. 💚 LINDEN LEAF: Helps lock in moisture. 💚 KELP EXTRACT: High in iodine, minerals and antioxidants. Then this eye mask is for you! ••• Also other details to know is that Pacifica is 100% Vegan and Cruelty-Free. Formulated without petroleum, parabens, sulfates or phthalates. Made in the USA with the best globally sourced ingredients. . . As for the price point of $5 for 2 individual single use spot masks, I think it fairly decent. Its reasonable to me as I only like to use this when I really need it — for my puffy eye or when I want to have less dark circle being seen. Also as I mentioned before, the patches are fairly big, so if you cut it, you can definitely get two uses out of it!

Redness HG Mask!!
I essentially love everything FAB for my insanely dry winter skin, but I honestly didn’t believe the hype of this until I tried it for myself! It is packed full of soothing ingredients and saved my skin after I accidentally overlly exfoliated. I had dry, RED, angry, inflamed skin and put this baby on and my skin felt instantly cooled and calmed down. Left it on for 15ish minutes and then rubbed it in. I even got my jade roller out of the freezer and massaged the leftovers in and cannot express how much I suggest this, my skin was dewy and gorgeous this morning and I feel like a new person. 10/10 recommend if you go a little overboard testing stuff out by accident and need a savior in your arsenal 🤘🏻 FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask

SPF that everyone needs
#Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+[goods]# Last week I reviewed the product with botanical peony scent, this is their original one, that is just as amazing at that one. It’s a SPF with very watery consistency, almost essence-like, hence the name. It’s formulated with moisture-rich water capsules to prevent dryness, hyaluronic acid, and royal jelly extract. Basically all the ingredients that my skin likes. It claims to be waterproof as well, but definitely not sticky at all. It’s very lightweight and absorbs into the skin under 1 minute. Perfect as a base underneath makeup. It’s transparent and doesn’t have any scent. I have been using it since forever, after hearing my mom raving about it. I love how lightweight the texture is and it doesn’t break me out like most Western brand SPF does. It’s a reliable product that I can never live without. It’s a bit cooling upon application and it feels smooth on the skin. SPF is so important for everyone, no matter the age or if you’re staying indoor the whole day. I always recommend this product to everyone because everything about it is great. The price is great, the product itself is amazing! It’s totally worth all the money and effort to apply! And SPF 50+ is so great as well.
Bioré-UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+
I have loved this product for such a long time, i could not imagine going without it. for me it takes a while to warm up to a product, especially because my skin is so sensitive, but this serum has truly been a game changer in my routine. I love how the hyaluronic acid is able to make my skin appear so healthy, even in winter! the serum is able to give me an all over glow, in all the RIGHT areas, people regularly compliment my skin after using this product. I use this product everyday usually only in the morning to give me a glow. When i’m feeling like i need more hydration i will also use this at night, under a cream. this serum is the perfect product for hydration that reaches deeper layers of skin, giving me a glow from within! H y d r a t i o n My had been super dehydrated recently, I'd mist, apply HA serum, apply moisturiser, then another moisturiser and then lock in with an oil and my face would still feel tight and thirsty. I was reccomend The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA. This is an actual god send for me! First application and my felt hydrated, soft and plump. Yay! I was expecting it to be greasy and not absorb but boy was I wrong. It has a creamy texture, absorbs very fast, immediately hydrates and has no scent. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid, which are all naturally present in our . These elements keep the outer layer of our protected and hydrated. My barrier was damaged by a crappy job at dermaplaning and it seriously compromised my 's levels, I could not find a moisturiser in my stash that was up to the job. I cannot praise this product enough as a week in, my feels almost back to normal, my face is hydrated, I can smile without my face feeling like its going to crack. This little gem set me back a whole £4.90 for 30ml, I'll be going back and purchasing the 100ml for £6.80 next, it's such amazing value for money.

Unpa bye bye cica toner—bye bye dryness
I’ve been buying more Korean skincare products recently, so when I ran out of my Dickinson’s moisturizing witch hazel toner about a month ago, I decided to try this one. I was wanting a more moisturizing toner since I recently started using tretinoin, and I also wanted something completely alcohol-free. I have several other products with cica in them, so I figured I would like this too—so far I’ve been right. This toner is made from 80% centella asiatica (cica) water, and other ingredients inunpa.Cosmetics - Bye Bye Cica Toner include witch hazel and glycerin. Overall, this toner claims to moisturize and calm, and it’s definitely done that for me. I wasn’t expecting any miracle out of this; I just wanted another moisturizing step. I like that it doesn’t have any fragrance or filler ingredients. When I put it on, it feels cooling and soothing, and my skin feels fresh and moisturized. The texture is watery—this isn’t a thick moisturizing toner like Dr. Jart’s ceramidin liquid. Overall, I would recommend this toner to anyone looking for an affordable K-beauty toner that soothes and moisturizes. If you like other cica products, this will probably agree with your skin. And it hard to beat the price: I got mine for $15 for 500ml on Amazon, so it’ll last me for months and months with once a day usage. I already plan to repurchase this once I finish this bottle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
