Vitamin C Faves 🍊🍒
Josie Maran Argan bright vitamin c serum is my go to serum for application in the morning. I’ve been using this for over a month and have seen a significant improvement with the dullness of my skin . This serum is super light, absorbs quickly , and you only need 3/4 drops for your entire face. I apply this after my toner and before my day moisturizer. Repurchased full size currently waiting patiently for it to be delivered . This has been my quarantine staple🌞🌞worth every penny. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheer up Brightening vitamin C Eye cream I’ve also been using this product for a little over a month and a half and I have to say I’m not impressed. Upon initial application it leaves my under eye area tacky and shiny and it takes a while for it to feel like it’s absorbed . Although, i have to say it did have a slight brightening affect, I’m sure there are better eye creams that will do the same and then some for less $$ .I try to use it 5 out of 7 days of the week because I found if I use it every day , by the end of the day my eye area feels fairly dry . I will be finishing this jar and looking for another option. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sunday Reilly C.E.O. Glow facial oil another great hit from Sunday Reilly. I hate that she ever faked reviews because people like me can not rave enough about some of her products. Some days when my face Is feeling a little dry ,but I still need my daily dose of vitamin C, I put 3 to 4 drops on my face pat it in and then use my jade roller to get it evenly applied, It leaves my face feeling nourished and Looking glowy Without leaving me feeling oily or just sitting on top of my face. I also find that between this and the argan serum my dark spots and acne scars are fading away . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Purging but still Glowing !! ✨✨
JOSIE MARAN - Argan Smooth Skin Resurfacing Serum Hello beauties!!! 😘😘😘 I wanted to share this product I have been using consistently for the past weeks, it’s the resurfacing serum that has helped me so much with my dryness but it has also caused my skin to purge, I found out that this is totally normal when it comes to serums like these, your skin needs to first “resurface” all the bacteria and push it out before it can reveal glowing beautiful skin ✨ I’m still using it and slowly clearing up, but my skin is visibly more vibrant and dewy! If you are new to resurfacing serums do not be afraid when you start to have major breakouts! It means it’s working ! Your skin needs to decongest and the serum is working by penetrating deep into your skin! I would definitely recommend this serum! 🙌🏼💕💕💕

A Supercharged Vitamin C Serum!
Dime Beauty Company Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid Prior to trying Dime Beauty Company’s Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid, I had been faithfully using Skinceuticals cult classic CE Ferulic and I was quite happy with it because I didn’t know any better! Then, I won a gift certificate to Dime Beauty in an Instagram giveaway and I chose to try Dime’s Vitamine C, B, E + Ferulic Acid and I am forever a convert. Let me tell you why… Both products offer some of the same benefits: Ferulic Acid: This is an antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals that cause premature aging. It also stabilizes Vitamin C (so it’s important that, if you are getting a Vitamin C Serum, that you get one that has Ferulic Acid) and enhances the nourishing benefits of Vitamin E. Vitamin E: Restores hydration by nourishing the lipid barrier and preventing the evaporation of existing moisture, known as Trans-Epidermal Water Loss. It also acts as an antioxidant. The texture of this product, similar to Skinceuticals FE Ferulic and many serums like this, is a clear watery liquid. There is also no fragrance or scent to speak of, which is always great when it comes to skincare products, in my opinion! Now, let’s talk the differences between the two products. First of all, the Vitamin C itself, the most important part! Skinceuticals offers 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin C in its most efficacious form. Dime Beauty’s product, on the other hand, offers 20% L-Ascorbic Acid - so you’re getting more bang of this antioxidant ingredient - already an improvement! Then, there is the addition of Vitamin B - two forms of it - that isn’t included in Skinceuticals CE Ferulic! Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): Niacinamide is an ingredient being used in a lot of skincare products these days and for good reason! It’s a workhorse! It improves the appearance of enlarged pores, brightens dull skin, defends against environmental toxins and UV rays, increases the production of ceramindes, improves redness and blotchiness of skin, regulates facial oil flow, helps prevent hyperpigmentation and minimizes lines and wrinkles! Phew! Vitamin B5: This is a humectant, a natural hydrator that stabilizes skin’s barrier function which results in an increase in the amount of water your skin holds onto. Finally, there’s the price! Skinceuticals CE Ferulic clocks in at the whopping $166 for 30mL - definitely not a price to take lightly. However, the Dime Beauty Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid - which boasts an additional 5% Vitamin C as well as two forms of Vitamin B that is not included in the Skinceuticals product - comes in at $28 for 30mL. Given the additional Vitamin C percentage, the addition of Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and Vitamin B5 as well as the SIGNIFICANT price difference, I will continue to purchase Dime Beauty company’s Vitamin C, B, E + Ferulic Acid moving forward and would recommend others do so, as well! No need to spend all that additional money to get an inferior product, in my humble opinion!
Vitamin C power✨
reversa - Radiance-C Concentrate 20% Pure Vitamin C One of the most important vitamins for skincare is vitamin C. Vitamin C is crucial for 20 years olds. This product helps with dullness, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture and evens out skin tone. Additionally, vitamin c aids in sun damage and works tremendously with SPF to protect the skin. The concentrate also has hyaluronic acid and vitamin E which aids in moisture for the skin. Great for normal to dry skin types. ——————————————— How to use? This product is a stable vitamin C, thus it is safe to use during both, the AM and PM. However when using during the day, SPF is a critical. Rinse the face, tone and apply the vitamin C by gently patting the face. ——————————————— My experience I live by this product! I have using this for over a year and it has literally saved my skin. I suffered from sun damage, I had white spots, lots of hyperpigmentation and dullness. The high concentration of 20% has cured the hyperpigmentation and the sun damage. It has significantly treated the dullness in my skin and the hyaluronic acid has simultaneously created hydration. ——————————————— Recommend 100% As a result, I highly highly recommend this product. It is important to build a tolerance for vitamin C. Start with a low percentage (5%) and slowly build a tolerance. A continuous daily use will create huge a difference to the skin!

I have been using their Brightening Super Greens Serum every night for about a month now and I am more than impressed! This serum is formulated with tons of superfoods that work to brighten and illuminate the skin. Kale, spirulina, chlorella, broccoli seed oil, and rose geranium target dark spots & deliver antioxidants to help improve skin’s overall appearance. After using this product consistently, I’m extremely impressed with how well it works. I have totally noticed lightening of the hyperpigmentation in my skin & the overall appearance of my skin is just so much brighter and healthier. I purposely cut out all vitamin C products while testing this product to see how effectively it could perform as a brightening serum. I truly think that this product could replace the expensive vitamin C serums in my routine! The results I saw with the Acure serum are very similar to what I see with most of the general vitamin C serums on the market. So if you’re in the market for a brightening serum that lightens dark spots & illuminates your complexion but you’re on a budget, look no further! At only $18.99 this product trulyyyy outdoes itself. Cannot recommend it enough!

No7 Retinol review.
Wanted to start my first review with Retinol. Started using the No7 Advanced retinol 1.5% complex night concentrate. Can you believe this had 100,000 waitlist before it launched? Well, I’m lucky I was able to get to try this product. Retinol is probably the number two anti-aging product, (number one being prescription Retin-A) in the beauty industry. It is not an overnight miracle it takes months to start seeing results but it is so popular because it really does work. I’ve been reading up on this retinol and one thing that was a bit controversial about this product is the percentage of retinol in it which is being advertised as having 1.5% this makes ppl. Think they are getting 1.5% of retinol which is a very high percentage but No7 do break down the ingredient percentage Pure Retinol (.3%): expert-recommended level, optimized for efficacy and comfort Retinol Optimizer (1%): slow-release system for enhanced delivery Retinol Soother (.2%): helps to calm skin and minimize irritation So, you are getting .3% of pure retinol with a mix of other ingredients. What makes me really excited for this product is the inclusion of Matrixyl 3000+ which is an anti-aging peptide I’ve been using a separate serum with Matrixyl 3000 and been loving. I started using this retinol on July 28 and been using it every other day on its own. So, it’s been almost 4 weeks so, I can’t say I’ve seen major results but according to No7 these are the results you should start seeing: Overnight, skin looks smoother, softer and moisturized (yes, I can attest to that my skin has not felt dry nor peeled it actually feels moisturized and smooth to the touch). In 2 weeks, skin looks tighter, brighter and clearer. (I haven’t gotten any blemishes since starting this and I do see a slight glow to my skin in the morning). In 12 weeks, skin looks firmer and more even, wrinkles and pigmentation appear reduced. (Still haven’t reached the 12 week use). I have to say I have high hopes for this retinol and will keep on using it. Always remember when ever you are using active ingredients like Retinol always make sure to use a Sunscreen (which you should be using already daily) because Retinol works to accelerate new skin cells this can leave your new skin sensitive to the sun.
N°7-Advanced Retinol 1.5% Complex Night Concentrate
Great serum for radiant and healthy skin!
Claims: Non-water based and high concentration serum for brightening. Helps with skin brightening, soothing, evening out skin tone and elasticity whilst providing a healthy and balanced skin. Key Ingredients- 86.14 % Vitamin Tree Extract (aka Sea Buckthorn), Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica Extract and Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract The overall consistency is lightweight and a little runny. It is fast absorbing, spreads easily and leaves no film or occlusive layer. There is no sticky/tacky feeling and it gives you a nice dewy glow. Overall, it feels comfortable and nourishing on the skin. I use this serum both day and night and at the essence stage. I find that it sits well under other skincare, sunscreen, makeup and had no problems with pilling. However, I do avoid using this serum on humid days since I did look shiny by the end of the day. There is a light citrus scent from the EO’s which I don’t mind because it is not overpowering and the scent goes away after a few seconds. I felt like this serum didn’t do much when it comes to fading away acne scars or hyperpigmentation. However, it did make my complexion look more radiant and healthy. My skin felt smooth, supple and more plump. It really helped with improving my skin texture and tone. Therefore, this serum worked well in terms of brightening up my overall complexion. Also, it provided the right amount of hydration as it did not cause any tight or dehydrated feeling. Overall, I like this serum for when my skin looks tired and dull and needs that extra boost. For brightening and fading hyperpigmentation I saw better results using a concentrated Vitamin C serum. The only major downside is the scent from the EO’s. Otherwise, this is a good all rounder serum.

EMPTY - Acne Friendly Hydrating Serum
Eight Saints is such an interesting brand to me—they offer a full discovery kit of almost all of their products on their website for $10 with free shipping...but then have the audacity to charge $70 for 1oz of a hydrating serum? See more below... I love a good hydrating serum, and believe me...Eight Saints Pep Rally is GOOD! EIGHT SAINTS - Pep Rally Gel Radiance Serum it has wonderful ingredients like green tea, MSM, Hyaluronic acid, and vitamin c to get a ton of your morning necessities in one serum. It targets dullness and dehydration in the skin. I was really nervous trying this out because vitamin c usually makes my skin freak OUT but was able to use this daily for 2 weeks without that happening! I used this after my cleanser and before my moisturizer in the morning. I was surprised how quickly and easily this soaked into my skin...literally it was gone in less than a minute! And it didn’t pill under my other products. HOWEVER...y’all. 1oz of this serum costs $70!!! HOW. Literally no. It’s not worth that price. If you’re into the luxury thing, go for it! But personally? I enjoy the Ordinary’s Hyaluronic acid serum way more! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Overall I liked this serum but I have to give it 4 out of 5 stars for the price point...
