Rovectin lotion - juicy skin the kbeauty way!
This is my hydrating toner/essence step. It’s viscous and full of 7 different weights of hyaluronic acid, caffeine, centella asiatica, papaya extract. Nothing plumps the skin quite like this. It leaves a glassiness to the skin that’s a bit too much for me in summer, but is perfect for winter. So juicy and gorgeous!

Daiso Japan’s SAKE Toner
Daiso Japan’s SAKE Toner (1.5/5 stars) (Week 12.9-12.15; dry skin toner; product unavailable in Cherie catalog) In the last decade, we’ve seen the rise of many natural skincare boosters, and sake is one of them. Apparently the ingredient is used in a lot of moisturizing products. I was on the lookout for a toner that would not only even my skin tone, but also give me that hydration I needed so I could possibly skip moisturizing. I then came across this humble bottle of Sake toner from Japan; it was fairly affordable with minimal ingredients. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Sake, isn’t that alcohol? And doesn’t alcohol dry your skin out? Turns out, this Daiso toner is made from “Junmai sake” which is a pure brew from “quality rice and water,” without the addition of alcohol. The product claims to moisturize, mentioning that it’s a “traditional skin treatment that’s been used for many years!” Cool and watery, the product has a slight fermented smell, but is not bothersome. After I applied it to my face, it evaporated much like water, instead of moisturizing as promised. Within a few minutes, I dried out again. Although I think sake is an ingredient worth trying out, I don’t think this particular product is worthwhile because over time, it doesn’t actually affect your complexion; and in daily use, it does not hydrate lastingly.
The Purevera Skin and Emulsion contain pure organic aloe vera to soothe, moisturize, and repair skin. The Skin feels like a thickish hydrating toner, similar to the Klairs Supple Preparation. It is very moisturizing, and when I'm in a rush, I'm able to use just the Purevera skin as my toner/essence step. It also contains such lovely ingredients as beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and more. The Emulsion has basically the same ingredients but with some added moisturizers and emollients. Both of these felt highly moisturizing, gentle, but light!
Review — Benton PHA Toner this pump type watery toner is formulated with 3% PHA—efficient in managing ’s oiliness, and . PHA is known as a gentle chemical exfoliator alternative to avoid irritation & photosensitivity. it is effective in lifting dead cells while giving the a moist glow. also contains Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower Extract and Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water (corn flower) known for theirmoisturizing & water, also has & properties. they have added sodium pca & sodium hyaluronate (natural moisturizing factors) so while PHA is working, it still keeps the moisturize to minimize irritation. as expected from benton, this toner is free of artificial fragrance, coloring, volatile alcohol, PEGs or other controversial ingients. It is a mildly acidic & dermatologically tested. gentliest exfoliating toner i’ve tried. it has a little to no scent and is clear & watery. i used it 3x a week (PM) it doesn’t sting at all! didn’t irritate my and it doesn’t feel tight & dry too.everytime i use this, feels smoother and can definitely see the subtle glow on areas such as cheeks, forehead and tip of nose. it is very effective in getting rid of tiny white bumps aroung my chin area. seems to look calmer/smaller too! I’ve got cystic & some have popped & healing - i usually avoid applying acids on popped coz they usually irritate it more (itchy & it stings for a good 20 mins) but with this, even if i’ve got open wounds, it still managed to take care of it without any irritation. I love it and will continue to use since it works well on me without having to deal with usual stuff such as s, stinging or purging i usually get from other chemical exfoliator. i gotta say, PHA definitely is my fave acid! this PHA toner is suitable for all types even to the sensitive ones & those who deal with fungal . the corn flower water is good when it comes to clearing the ‘blush’ (flushed?) you get when FA wants to act up. thank you so much, benton! seriously, all the products i’ve tried from them just works great on me! .

My review: Woodlot kindly gifted this to me a month ago. This toner is different from others, by that I’m talking about their packaging, it’s different from usual toners. This one came in this crystal bottle that usually oils and serums came in. I found this toner very interesting haha. This toner is very nourishing. I love that contains hyaluronic acid, a key for plumping and hydrated skin. Sometimes my skin gets very dehydrated and those times it’s when I look up for this baby to give me that moisture and nourishing mix that I need. Other thing I love about it, is that it’s organic, 100% eco-friendly, vegetarian and cruelty free! And have amazing ingredients! Suitable for all skin types. The texture of it it’s watery very runny. I totally recommend even for sensitive skin. It hasn’t caused me any irritation. I totally recommend. Good toner, good ingredients = Perfection 💕 price it’s $28 but it’s totally worth it.
Comparing use cases for the laneige Cream Skin Refiner Mist to the Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer ✨The base formula for both are the same. It’s an innovative liquid moisturizer, a light and milky water that absorbs into the skin quickly. I’m impressed by how well it blends two parts of a routine into a single compound - hydrating toners tend to be water-based, while moisturizers have oil-based emollients. Unlike a lot of other Laneige products, this one is fragrance-free! ✨The mist is a bit thick to use as a “pick me up” throughout the day, but I really like using it as a replacement for my essence or as a stand-alone sleeping mask. Depending on how I want to use it, I can control how much I spritz. For extra plump, I seal an extra layer of gel moisturizer over it. ✨I use the toner like a moisturizer and pour 3-5 drops into my palms. It’s especially useful when I get home from work and immediately double cleanse my makeup, but don’t feel like doing my full skincare routine. This toner adds the moisture back. I prefer the mist applicator for more control, but there’s something soothing about the traditional palm method to hydratewithlaneige. ❤️ These are my favorite products, full stop. I can’t recommend them enough. The toner just launched at sephora for $33, but is available from Korean sites for around $23.
Did you love the original?? The original Klairs supple preparation toner is one of my all-time favorite hydrating toners, but it did have an herbal smell that wasn't everyone's cup of tea. Enter the new unscented version, which is everything you loved about the OG, sans scent. The lack of fragrance and essential oils will undoubtedly be better for those with sensitive skin, and makes it easy to incorporate into your routine no matter what condition your skin is in. I find it absorbs and hydrates just as well as the original. It's not completely smell-less; it has a slight bland smell from the ingredients but it's very innocuous and now I barely notice it having used it a bit more. With the original, I would avoid it if my allergies were acting up due to the volatile fragrance elements, but with this version I specifically reach for it if my allergies are sensitized! If you have sensitive skin that needs a big dose of hydration, this is a great toner to try. I love the klairs motto of "simple, but enough" and they're really putting their money where their mouth is in creating these products in response to user feedback! I really love companies that do that!
