Neutrogena ultra-sheer dry touch SPF 85 - love!
For me this is a body product. When I was in Hawaii last month, I needed something waterproof and budge-proof. While I try to avoid prolonged sun exposure, I needed something I can rely on for protection when I went snorkeling. The Neutrogena ultra-sheer dry touch SPF 85 did the trick! It lasted and stuck around. I reapplied diligently per the directions on the bottle and always apply generously. It leaves a slight cast on my medium skin, but I don’t mind because the protection is so good.Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock

Supergoop! Sunscreens: my favs and flops
To start, I just started seriously using SPF about 6 months ago (I’m 22, for shame) because I absolutely HATED how sunscreen sat on my skin. It was always too greasy, too weirdly dry, or waaaay too thick and a bit difficult to spread around my face (like Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock ). I’ve tried really dermatologist recommended sunscreens like elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 (SORRY I know it’s a cult fav), but even that was too oily and would slide around my face all day like a slip-n-slide. I also have sensitive & acne prone skin so it was never worth it to me to put on this gross sunscreen that would forever break me out and cause redness. They were all the same. Enter: Supergoop! My holy grail. My precious. My savior. The only sunscreen that would comfortably sink into my skin that I couldn’t ever feel. HOWEVER, not all Supergoop! products are created equal, as I’ve found out. My least favorite: Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ . This lotion feels like soft, fluffy butter on my fingers and spreads so smoothly on my face. I was disappointed when I was left with an oily sheen that never soaked in (tested 8hr multiple times). It is greasy to the touch—my hair kept sticking to my face kind of greasy. It is superficially moisturizing instead of deeply. SAD! Maybe better for super dry skin? A truly great product: Supergoop! - CC Cream Daily Correct Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sunscreen . This CC cream is really awesome. It’s lightweight but gives a surprising amount of coverage! Blends well and camoflouges all my redness. It’s also not drying at all. Special brownie points for not breaking me out—this is a gentle mineral sunscreen :) I find this perfect for summer because it’s hot and regular foundation would just melt off my face and crease . -1 star because after about 4 hours the product begins to break up. It also doesn’t have much oil control for my fellow combo/oily peeps. Perhaps it’ll be better in the winter when the heat won’t break it up?! • My daily sunscreen: Supergoop! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 . I LOVE THIS! Shake the bottle for 5-10 seconds and the tinted sunscreen comes out like fluffy clouds. It minimizes pores, always looks like a natural matte (not a dry matte), evens skin tone, is water resistant, and sinks so naturally and comfortably into my skin. This is especially in my 🤍 because my pores are ginormous and I need that lil extra somethin. This makes my face look truly poreless. And it’s a mineral sunscreen so I never break out. Apply in gentle presses for pill-less results. A game changer: Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 . The ultimate sunscreen. That’s it. What’re your thoughts on these four sunscreens? Are there others I should try? What are your favorites? 🤔
Suns out buns out!!

This is a powder that you can put on bare skin or on top of makeup throughout the day. Also great for men, for hair lines and parts, and especially great for the scalp on thinning hair. Not great for bald spots as there is nothing for the powder to stick to. colorescience - Sunforgettable Brush-on Sunscreen SPF 50 (Original Formula) Vegan: Yes Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 22.5%; Zinc Oxide 22.5% Inactive Ingredients: Mica, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol/Propylsilsequioxane/Silicate Crosspolymer, Lycopodium Clavatum Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Imperata Cyclindrica Root Extract, Glycerin, Water, Caesalpinia Spinosa Fruit Pod Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Quercus Robur (Oak) Wood Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Sprout Extract, Maltodextrin, Methicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Laureth-4, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Iron Oxides (CI77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).
Product set my face on FIRE
I used Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen in SPF 45 this morning on my face and chest before a run and my face is BURNING. It’s like flames, flames on the side of my face (for all the Clue movie fans out there 😜). The burning only got worse when I rinsed off my face post run. I didn’t even use a cleansing product, just water! My poor face is still red and sore, so no makeup for me today! Lesson learned: this product is not good for the face, but seems to work well on the rest of the body. Anybody have a good, go to SPF for exercise that will stick through sweat and not make my face burst into flames?Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Suncreen, SPF 45

🌞 MUST HAVE SUNSCREEN 🌞
I must say prior to a month ago I was super guilty of never using sunscreen. Fast forward, I can’t stress enough how essential using sunscreen everyday is. The sun is so powerful and damages your skin barrier either immediately or overtime. ✨Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Mist SPF 55✨ This sunscreen is my absolute fave! It’s very lightweight and sheer and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I love that it’s a spray so I don’t have to use my hands and it’s perfect to reapply throughout the day. AND it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face, which was a huge concern, of course. It’s $18 which is a super inexpensive sunscreen compared to others and protects your face from harmful UVA and UVB rays. 10/10 highly recommend! 🌞💛

Battle of the Sunscreens! ☀️
Hey guys! These two sunscreens- the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 and the NIVEA - Sensitive Protect SPF50 Sunscreen Lotion are two drugstore sunscreens that are literally the same price ($17 AUD). Some pros to both sunscreens: Are SPF50 Broad spectrum protection (I.e. both UVA + UVB rays) 4hrs water resistant After using both for about 6 months each, I have to say that the Nivea one is much better. Here are some reasons why: Nivea one is not irritating to the skin at all (has aloe Vera and chamomile) & does not peel (as opposed to the Neutrogena one). It leaves a nice glow that works well under makeup. I found with the Neutrogena one it had a greasy texture (despite claiming not to) and doesn’t work as well under makeup. The Neutrogena one made me look a lot more oilier (even though I used to only apply a little). The Neutrogena one made my skin feel almost dirty and would peel even if I just slightly ran my hands over my face). The scent was not pleasant either, especially in comparison to the Nivea one. Good for sensitive skin- although my skin isn’t sensitive, it still works very well for me. Doesn’t get into my eyes!!! This is a big one; the Neutrogena one would go into my eyes (and mouth sometimes too) and would be extremely irritating to my dry eyes even when I wouldn’t put it near them, causing them to water almost for the rest of the day. And oh god, if it went into my mouth, it would leave an almost poisonous taste in my mouth that I couldn’t get rid of no matter how much I ate/how much water I would have. Is 200ml so lasts a long time (compared to 88ml). Has Vitamin E!! All in all, I would recommend the Nivea one- for the same price you can get more than double the amount of the Neutrogena one. It’s recommended that we apply about a teaspoon of sunscreen to our faces to get the max effect, so a larger size doesn’t hurt. When I used to use the Neutrogena one, I used to only dot it on my face and it looked super oily, and now I use the Nivea one which I can put about a teaspoon on and it blends in and looks glowy without looking oily. The only thing I’m concerned about is that it doesn’t claim to be non-comedogenic (like the Hydroboost sunscreen), but my pores have stayed the same and haven’t enlarged at all. That’s all for my review, hope you enjoyed! 🥰

Body Mist Sunscreen You Need
DISCLAIMER: The product tagged is SPF 70 and the product in my photo is SPF 60 :) 60 wasn’t an option to tag. This sunscreen uses Helioplex technology to provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection. It’s super light (sheer). What’s Helioplex technology? It’s UVA and UVB protection made from combining abobenzone and oxybenzone. This means the ingredients in this sunscreen remain stable in the sun (as opposed to them breaking down and losing effectiveness) and provide amazing sun protection. What I love: ☀️ Oil-free ☀️ Water resistant for up to 80 minutes ☀️ Non-comedogenic ☀️ Light-weight ☀️ Non-greasy ☀️ Easy to use spray bottle My Thoughts: Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Body Mist SPF 70 Sun protection is so important. I’m not interested in those skin-aging UVA rays or the burning UVB rays. The spray bottle makes it SO easy to use. With the spray you’re able to apply this to your back no problem and you don’t have to worry about missing spots or streaky hand marks haha. I love how it’s so light-weight and non-greasy; there’s no worse feeling (besides a sunburn, of course!) than feeling like you’re wearing a thick, white-cast sunscreen. The mist is great because it takes no time at all to apply :) I highly recommend this product if you can get your hands on it. This sunscreen etails for around $15 CAD.

Best sunscreen for my face
As an esthetician, I cannot stress how important sunscreen is for your skin. But over the years, it started getting harder and harder for me to find a sunscreen that is high quality and not overly expensive. There have been times that I had to choose one or the other, I could never have both! That is until I found this product. This broad spectrum sunscreen (post procedure and sensitive) is light, fragrance free, feels like a moisturizer, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Granted it wasn’t the cheapest sunscreen ever, but when you combine the quality ingredients with the amount of ounces you get in one bottle (1.85 oz for a standard bottle), it’s definitely worth it! High protection, low price 🌴🌞
I love love love this product! I’ve been using sunscreen on my face religiously for a couple years now. However, I never did the same for the rest of my body. This summer has been insanely hot and with quarantine going on, my only option was to spend time outdoors. I usually tan rather than burn but I still wanted to protect my skin. This offers SPF 50 without feeling greasy at all! It’s a lotion with a little bit of shimmer so it looks really nice too but nothing over the top. Ps. The glitter does not transfer but kinda of sheers out throughout the day. HAWAIIAN Tropic - SHEER TOUCH ULTRA RADIANCE LOTION SUNSCREEN For about $12 I have no complaints at all :) smells a little coconuty which is really nice for the summer.
