What is the product? Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray
How does it work? Thermal Water works by soothing the skin and calming any irritation What are the notable ingredients? Mineral Spring Water What is the price? $18.50CAD Where can you purchase? Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall Pharmacy and online How long have I been using it for? I’ve been using thermal water for over two years, I started off using this product on my body and now still use it on my face What is my experience ? My experience with thermal water has been good, I suffer from eczema on both my body and face. It was hard finding products that wouldn’t irritate or cause a flare up. When that happened this product saved my skin and soothed it. At first I was not exactly sure how water would help my skin, but after doing research thermal waters are meant to have healing properties for the body and skin. What are my thoughts? This product is nothing short of amazing, you are able to use it for multiple areas and it lasts so long. The mist is super fine which makes it perfect for spraying on large or small spots, and pressing into the skin similar to how you apply a toner. Would I recommend to a friend? I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or family or even someone looking to help soothe their skin but who doesn’t want to break the bank!! My overall rating? 5/5 Would I repurchase? I have and will continue to repurchase this product until I find something that exceeds how amazing this is! #CheriePartner

What I learned from using a skin scrubber 😬
I've used the GUGUG - Skin Scrubber about four times now and I felt like following up on my first post about this. Here's what I learned from using it: - Don't use it on anything that isn't a blackhead. It'll hurt so much and it's not meant for whiteheads, nodules, papules, or cystic acne. - When using it, the buttons are supposed to face you. The end of the tool is sloped in a way so the rest of the metal slides on your skin if the buttons are facing out. On Amazon it shows this product being used correctly in case you need visuals and @geralorentasposted about using this - This is best used on flat areas, or mildly curved ones, like around the nostrils, cheeks, the chin, and the area between your nose and mouth (like under your nose and above your lips) - Don't use on your nose bridge or the tip of your nose! There's no resistance or enough force to get the blackheads to come out, since you have to press a lot. Don't risk dislocating your nose or causing bruises or cuts (yes it can cut you or scrape your skin) - It's only for blackheads!! - In order to avoid getting scrapes and having skin irritation, put on a cleanser - I like the Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanserand the Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanserfor this because they're pretty thick. Also, reapply them when your skin starts to get drier. - Spray water like the Avène - Thermal Spring Water Sprayor evian - Facial Water Spray Triofor extra moisture on top of a cleanser. Take away: Use wisely, use it only on blackheads, and pay attention to what your skin is trying to tell you.

Skincare Alphabet - H is for Hyaluronic Acid
If you haven’t heard of Hyaluronic Acid, you must be living under a rock (no offense to any starfish out there that might be reading this.) Hyaluronic Acid or HA has been all over the skincare world for quite sometime now and you can find this incorporated into almost every imaginable type of skincare product as well as makeup products like foundation and lipstick. HA is naturally occurring in your skin, joints, eyes, etc. and acts somewhat like a sponge. It holds water on your face to not only hydrate but keep it looking plump and fresh. It is a humectant which hydrates by drawing moisture into it from outside sources. Although it is an amazing ingredient, use with caution. Applying HA in the right order, after toner and essence but before moisturizer and oils, will make the HA and it’s effects on your skin last longer. This is especially important in dry, less humid environments. HA draws water and moisture from ANYWHERE including your skin. I live in Southern California where it is beautiful, but can also quite arid. On less humid days, I spray Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray on before I add HA so it grabs the water on the surface of my skin, instead of drawing from within my skin, and then seal it off with an emollient. I like to mix HA into my foundation on days I wants lighter coverage or more of a dewy look, especially when I’m experiencing post retinol flaking and dryness. How do you use your HA?

Avène thermal spring water
Listen, this is a very basic product, it’s literally water in a can BUT it’s really good. I use this first thing in the morning instead of tap water to wash my face, and yes, it’s bougie as hell but you gotta treat yourself every now and then right? I also love using it as a midday refresher whenever I feel I could use a pick me up. It really helps soothe and calm redness-prone skin. Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray

Avène Spring Water
Product: Avène Thermal Spring Water Price: $18.50 Product Claims: Clinically shown to soothe, soften and calm skin. Reduces skin sensitivity and helps restore skin balance. Soothes redness. Calms itching sensations. Product Target Concerns: Reduce redness and calm itching sensations. Texture/Consistency: Just like water, no additional stickiness. Even wide mister on to your face. My Thoughts on the Product: I gave it 3 stars because I must admit it did feel nice. If someone gifted me this product I wouldn’t complain. But overall, it didn’t leave any long lasting feelings for me to find it worth the price. It also tends to get a musky smell if not used quickly. Recommend to Others?: This I hard for me. Overall, no I would say it’s not worth the money. But if you wanted a refreshing product it is generally nice and does what it says it will, for only immediate not long lasting results. Summer Must Have: Thermal Spring Water Spray
Summer Must Have: Thermal Spring Water Spray
Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray With the weather getting warmer, a water spray is a must for me. It’s perfect to take along with you and use after a day out in the sun, after an activity, or even to soothe itchy, irritated skin. This is the 50 mL bottle, which makes it the perfect travel size. It also comes in 150 mL and 300 mL. Uses: Facial redness Sunburns Following surgical procedures Following shaving Following exercise Following hair removal Refreshing spray Who can use it? It’s so gentle that it’s perfect for sensitive, hypersensitive, allergic, and irritated skin :) How to use: Mist over desired area, wait a few minutes and pat dry any excess water. It’s really easy to use. Why I love it: If you’re like me and can get irritated skin from shaving too frequently, or with hair removal, this really does calm the skin. It doesn’t sting and it feels so refreshing. I also love to keep it in my bag so if I’m out on a hot day, this just refreshes your skin beautifully, making you immediately feel cooler. Verdict: I give this product 5 stars. It’s amazing! I love how much one product can benefit you. I love how soothing and hydrating it is. I also like how you can spray it on a face of makeup and the makeup doesn’t really budge.

The perfect moisturizer
The perfect moisturizer
HOLY GRAIL ALERT! This moisturizer is amazing. I’ve tried all different kinds and non of them moisturized My skin without breaking me out, or having tons of fragrance added in. This does JUST that. Avene is a French brand that uses thermal spring water in all their products- they are specifically created to be for all types, especially sensitive skin. They’re known to treat skin conditions such as eczema, but this works for normal skin as well! I have acne prone oily skin, and this is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used!Avène - Skin Recovery Cream

Best minerals put together

Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray There are so many brands making #thermalspringwater spray and as a consumer we don’t know what’s best for us. I’ve tried 4 different thermal spring waters. The one that worked for me is the Avène Thermal Spring Water 🧡🧡. - I’ve repurchased this product multiple times and have been using it since January. One bottle usually lasts me about 5-6 weeks max, and I always keep a back up ready haha. - I use this spray in many different ways. I like to use it after toning, before my serum. I soak my face with the spray and massage it into my skin which softens, soothes my skin. It creates the perfect base for my serum to absorb in. I like to keep a travel size bottle in my car to spray during the day. It can be used after makeup. - The other way which not many of you might know, I like to spray it after I get my eyebrows and upper lips done. My skin gets really red and irritated after all the waxing and threading. Even though the lady puts aloe Vera gel, Avene thermal water calms my skin and protects it from any irritation. - You know what the best part is, it never expires. I get through it so fast so it doesn’t even get to the point of wondering if it expires but it doesn’t .

Avène Thermal Spring Water
Product Function: Avène claims that this spray soothes, softens, and calms the skin with its central ingredient as Avene’s thermal spring water. It reduces skin sensitivity and helps to restore skin balance. It can also help to soothe redness and calm itching sensations and it is safe for infants, children, and adults to use. Product Target Concerns: Skin sensitivity and redness Texture/Consistency: It has the consistency of water (which is expected of a product named “thermal water”) that sinks into the skin nicely. Overall Opinion: C’est seulement de l’eau dans une bouteille, n’est pas?! FAUX! It’s just water in a bottle, right?! WRONG! I’d heard a lot of really good things about this thermal spring water and I had to try it out to see if it’s worth the hype and I can definitively say that it is. My skin was super sensitized and red a couple of weeks ago, so that applying any products stung. But after spraying this on my skin and letting it sit for a couple of minutes, my skin calmed down significantly and didn’t sting anymore! I love this product and I am definitely going to buy another one when I run out. Would We Recommend? 11/10 would recommend to anyone, especially those with sensitive skin. It is very effective at calming down sensitive skin and for $18.50 for 300 mL, it is honestly a steal. It’s affordable, works wonders, and lasts so long! Rating: 5/5
