Hello everybody who has hearted my posts to see my skin care journey (: This is what my skin has been looking like still using all of the same products! The only thing I’ve added is a jade roller just because it’s sooooo relaxing lol. I do have acne scars and rosacea, but I’ve noticed my rosacea is reduced when I treat my skin well. Now remember I’m also 9 months Preggo and haven’t been eating the best 😬 Guilty I know, but my skin is looking so much healthier and glowier! I don’t have perfect skin, but I do see a huge improvement from what I’ve dealt with in the past. First I still use the THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm balm to remove my makeup. Oats are very calming for your skin and reduce redness so I love the way this feels when I double cleanse. Next I rinse that off well and go in with my LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser This stuff hasn’t broken me out once and I have very sensitive skin so I definitely recommend just trying it out for yourself. After I cleanse my skin I go in with my PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator as a toner. (Only use at night) This stuff is strong, but I find using it only at night helps more because I’m not adding so much to my face. This has helped reduce my pores and also clear some mild breakouts and redness on my face. Next I go in with my amazing oil I got of amazon Cos De BAHA - Azelaic Acid 10% Serum with Niacinamide Acne Scar Removal + Redness Relief Face Now this stuff is AMAZING. I apply this with the dropper every morning and night and it is a miracle worker!! I would rate this more than 5 stars. It helps calm your skin and also helps with breakouts, hyperpigmentation and so much more. After this step I use my Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer The reason I give it three stars is because it’s just your average basic moisturizer to me.. it works, but I’m sure there’s better moisturizers out there. For the price though it’s worth it if you want something easy. Next step after is always sunscreen in the morning! Never at night for me and I use GARNIER - Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream SPF 30 I only have been using this since December so I won’t give it five stars yet, but this is a good 3-1 face serum with spf! One thing I like is it doesn’t leave a white cast on me. Things I don’t like is how it has a lot of fragrance and it also can burn my eyes sometimes. If anyone has a better spf to try let me know (: That’s all I do for the morning and night time and then of course use my jade roller to feel relaxed. I do use my THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream but I don’t see a difference on my under eyes. I’ll keep you all updated again soon ! ❤️
Update: my acne has reduced A LOT
I’ve been a bit MIA since my last post but here is the progress of my acne. If I were to pinpoint the main reasons why, then it’s these reasons: What I did wrong: - experimenting and using alot of different products. I was in a phase where I loved trying new products and my skin did not like that I was switching products all the time. - I did not spot test new products - overloaded my skin with many products. I don’t know who needs to hear this but a 10 step routine is NOT for acne prone skin. - drank little water each day - used harsh products without re-balancing my skin with soothing products - masked almost everyday What I did to improve it: - reduce the number of products going on my skin. I now use only a max of 3 products in the morning and 5 products at night. - drank 2 litres of water every day - used a soothing pH-balanced toner - used a GENTLE chemical exfoliant - used retinol regularly - masked only every 2-3 days Some products I use in my daily routine that really helped my skin: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator as an all-over exfoliant PAULA'S CHOICE - BHA 9 Treatment as a spot treatment The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to fade acne scars Products that I use every 2-3 days that helped my skin: AZCLEAR - Medicated Lotion (mixed with Niacinamide) to fade acne scars DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream to bring out new baby skin ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Glow Mask as a gentle exfoliating mask If you are going through something similar just know to take it SLOWLY. The skin is going through trauma and it is not an overnight success. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer.

Too faced damn girl mascara!
The too faced damn girl 24 hour mascara is a high intensity mascara for shocking volume, dramatic lift and curl, and 24 hour wear! This mascara can be solutions to adding volume and curl to your eye lashes. The texture of this mascara is a very thick intense black that does a great job of doing everything you need in a mascara! I bought this about 4 months ago because I received it as a promo code form Sephora and fell in love with the formula. It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and gave me great results in my eye lashes volume and lift! I totally recommend this mascara it is one of my favorites and I think anyone will enjoy this to. It is $25 for .43oz!⚡️🖤Too Faced - Damn Girl! 24-Hour Mascara

Benefit They’re Real! Mascara in Black
My skin type is oily with the occasional breakout and dry spot, but my skin has been pretty dry to the recent temperature fluctuations here in Texas. This product is intended to lengthen and give volume to the lashes. I have posted a picture of my lashes without mascara with the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara if you’d like to compare. The second through fourth picture show my look freshly applied. The fifth through seventh photos are after 11 hours of wear 😱 the smudging isn’t bad for how long I had it on! This tube is close to being finished and dried out, so my results are as good as when I first open the tube. I chose this product because I love trying new mascaras, although I typically have an issue with flaking. This mascara does a great job on its own of lengthening my lashes and giving them volume, but they look ever better with a mascara primer. This is one of the few mascaras I can wear on my top and bottom lashes and not have much flaking. I love the design of the brush for applying to both my top and bottom lashes, the little ball at the top mascara is perfect for the bottom lashes and separating my top lashes. The typical looking portion of the mascara wand is perfect for the top lashes. The formula definitely holds up and hardly flakes for me. I really love this mascara, but it can be a tad tough to remove, but not if you use an oil or balm cleanser. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a mascara that holds up and doesn’t flake that bad. This product is worth the price because it doesn’t flake as bad as typical mascaras and the extra effort to use this mascara is worth it because it really lengthens and separates the lashes! benefit - They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara Price: $25 for full size (0.3 oz) Rating: 4/5

Ipsy bag review!
Overall I think the Ipsy bag is a great way to try new makeup and skincare! All though since it is a mystery bag I don’t think it’s the best because you can’t see what your getting but otherwise it’s great! Make sure to follow me on all socials!
Love this affordable baby
the ordinary serum foundation👩🏼🎨 today’s review is all about this affordable foundation - $6.70 for 30ml. it’s cheaper than even drug store foundations, but how does it perform, you ask? here’s the 🏃🏽♀️rundown. spoiler alert, 🥺I love it. this serum is a very light, almost watery consistency (SWIPE for video). it is light-medium coverage on it’s first layer, but is easily buildable to achieve a more full coverage glam look. it does not oxidize. it leaves a dewy finish and (paired with a setting powder and spray,) stays in its place. it applies flawlessly with a beauty blender and doesn’t cling to dry areas or finish streaky. it does not break me out (elf blemish control primer, also $6, helps with this and works beautifully under this foundation). I am admittedly not much of a makeup person, besides some brow gel on a daily basis, I only do makeup 1-2 times a month.. therefore, splurging on a $70 foundation from Sephora which will go bad before I’m even 1/2 done isn’t an option. 💩 this foundation is truly a perfect fit for me. it’s simple, easy to use and apply, and affordable. It comes with a pump, but I purchased the serum dropper for $0.90 because the pump made the foundation come out so fast because it’s so thin, and it splashed off the back of my hand and went everywhere ☔️ I have this in 2 pasty shades - 👼🏻Really Pasty for the winter months (shade called 1.0 NS) and I just picked up a 👼🏼Slightly Less Pasty shade for my fake-tanned summer skin (pictured, shade 1.1 N). My first bottle I was colour-matched in store at deciem , and this time I just winged it TL;DR ☕️ 10/10 love this affordable baby and will keep repurchasing.
Sephora Collection Brow Thickener
My skin type is oily with the occasional breakout and dry spot. As you can tell from the third picture, I have naturally thick brows, but there is a sparse spot in the middle of my brow. The swatches in the second picture are very deceptive of the product because it is not supposed to be dragged, so the swatches make it look dry. It texture is a very powdery-type texture that instantly makes the brows look fuller. The fourth picture is my brow immediately after filling it in and the fifth picture is the completed look after finishing my makeup. The last picture is the same eyebrow after 9 hours of wear. As you can tell, it holds up really well! I decided to pick up this product to get free shipping and enjoy trying new products, especially makeup! As you might know, I color my hair blonde so this color is a very harsh contrast for my eyebrows compared to my blonde hair, so I hardly wear it. The shade I have is 03 Brunette. It is very quick and easy to use since you just sort of tap the product into your brow with the applicator, which is an almost lipgloss-style applicator. The powder can get a little messy and drop onto the brow bone area underneath it, but I just use an eyeshadow brush or small brush to lightly dust the powder away and voila it’s gone! I do like this product, but it doesn’t match well with my hair color and I prefer a brow pomade or pencil, but like this to switch things up! I would recommend this product, especially if you have thinner brows, because this really does thicken your brows and stays put all day! This is also a great product for thicker brows because you can control the intensity you want (how thick you want your brows to look). This is definitely worth the small amount of time it takes to shape and thicken your brows, plus the quick time it takes to dust the loose powder away if some happens to fall. The results are amazing for how easy to use this product is! Plus this product is currently on sale for $3, this shade only, but woah what a deal!! I do still add eyebrow gel after this to lock my brows into place. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Brow Thickener Price: $12 for 0.035 oz/1 mL (on sale currently for $3 😱 this shade only though) Rating: 4/5

Bitti x Colorpop Candy Button Palette + Swatches
I have to say that I am really enjoying this palette and the color story! Although I’m not the biggest fan of the pressed glitters I can make them work with my NYX - Glitter Primer which I break out of my makeup storage drawer when I use pressed glitters. I only use the finest amount. Of the glitters since I’m not keen on getting them in my eyes. All of the shadows apply nicely on my primed eyes with either the NYX - Proof It! Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer or the VDL - Expert Color Primer For Eyes which are my two favorites and are affordable as a plus and they hold up great through out the day. I thought at first since Pony is lighter skinned they wouldn’t work with my medium skin but they still worked great! The shade Hubba Bubba was a bit disappointing... I would have loved to see a bright bubble gum pink for that name but that exact shade I found it to be a bit patchy and I don’t really experience that with the other shades. The shimmer shade is absolutely beautiful and very buttery. They apply nicely with my brushes and with my fingers and blend nicely with a fluffy brush. I have found little to no kickback on these and the pigmentation is definitely there! I also really appreciate that the packaging has a mirror on it! The other Colourpop palettes I have don’t have one so having that mirror there is a nice change! The last picture is my attempt at taking a picture of a look I created with this palette. I purchased the entire Bitti collection and will be reviewing the products soon so please keep an eye out on those reviews ☺️

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
