My nightly routine w/retinal

avatar
beautiewithjen
Every night I choose a facial wash depending on how my face is feeling and what I’d like to be using. When I will be working with retinal in my routine, I like to start with a nice gentle exfoliation like TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser
It’s a gentle enough cleanser to use every day but I choose to use it 3-4 times a week. It’s a beautiful light scent and I love how soft it is on my skin, yet manages to exfoliate. I definitely recommend this cleanser if you’re a bit worried about working with physical exfoliants. It’s nothing to fear. 💜 Then again as I stated I’m using my retinal tonight so I want to be sure to have a very hydrated face. Hydration is key for me as retinal can be very drying for my skin. I use a lot of hydrating toners and essences to really plump up my skin before adding the retinal. These would be TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener
& INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner
& YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil
(these are just some I use) They all give my face the layer of hydration needed to move forward. Then I come in with Medik8 - Crystal Retinal
I’m loving the retinal as I’ve only had small white heads surface and easily disappear. I did notice my skin becoming drier when I went up to level 6 but again, found a way to combat that. I’ve only been working with retinal a short few months so I have no results to share at this time. And finally when I am working with a strong active (such as retinal) I lather my face in moisturizer. I had yet to find a night time face mask that worked for me until I discovered this beauty YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask
It’s the perfect consistency for my skin. Never a heavy, oily, sticky feeling. Just sinks in and keeps my face locked in moisture. And all the added benefits, it’s heart throbbing 💗 get excited over this one ya’ll! It’s good! And I always use an eye cream, day or night. And am loving FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry
I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in the dark circles and just tone of my skin all around my eye. Hope me sharing my night time retinal routine can be helpful for some of you. I’m always here to answer questions #CherieCreator

Is Farmacy Really Farm Fresh?? 🌾
Me: dry-combo, currently acne prone, sensitive or very sensitive For my first dive into Farmacy products, I purchased the FARMACY - Farmer's Market Kit so that I could try a variety of their bestsellers. Overall, a good tester kit for your money with adequately sized samples! (Much bigger than the Glow Recipe sample sizes.) From favorite to least favorite: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm This was my first ever cleansing balm and I fell in love 😍 Your skin feels so smooth and moisturized afterwards. As a dry skin person I often used this as a single cleanse and didn’t notice any breakouts. I knocked off a star because it contains fragrance.... but actually I LOVE the smell... I just worry about my sensitive skin. The next balm I’m trying out is the GOOD MOLECULES - Instant Cleansing Balm FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This was a nice lightweight moisturizer. I didn’t like the smell quite as much as the balm but it was fine. It did leave a bit of a shiny sticky residue for me but that went away when i added oil on top. Overall, not enough moisture for my skin right now, but I could see myself loving it in the summer! The next lightweight moisturizer I am trying is the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask I wanted to love this one, and about half the time I loved it, but about half the time I HATED it. When it was good, it made my skin feel so smooth, hydrated, and brightened. When it was bad, it BURNED my skin, horribly at times. I guess it depends on how my skin barrier is doing? Probably not a repurchase since it was so unpredictable on my sensitive skin. I love honey and would love to hear thoughts on other honey masks to try! FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry My least favorite of the group, this one was just too sticky for me. I also didnt like the smell... it was almost sour smelling? Idk, just not for me. I’m now trying the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serumfor my next vitamin C product. I also now purchased FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry and it is too soon for a full review but right now I am liking it a lot! It is not sticky, and does not have the funny smell of the serum. What do you guys think?? What Farmacy products should I try next? I’m eyeing the FARMACY - Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizeror the FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizerand the FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serumand maybe the FARMACY - Whipped Greens: Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser With Moringa and Papaya!! Let me know what you think!

These items are 😍
These products are worth every penny! I haven’t had much luck with face washes and toners but these are great! The last two toners I used, left my skin feeling sticky and I was told it was the toner causing that so I checked out Indie Lee! INDIE LEE - Purifying Face Wash I use this Am/Pm everyday and it makes my skin feel nice and doesn’t strip my skin which I love! I love the smell and the packaging is 😍! INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner The second step is this toner and again the smell is incredible! Some days I spray this directly on my face or I spray it on a cotton pad! The packaging is 😍 just like the face wash! These products are definitely worth the money! You can find these on their website and at your local Ulta!❤️

Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Toner INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner Alcohol free Vegan Cruelty free Gluten free Contains antioxidants Hyaluronic acid and aloe vera based What it is: A toner/essence spray that protects skin against environmental stressors with antioxidants and also hydrates, soothes, refreshes, and primes the skin. Texture: Lightweight, not sticky, absorbs fast. My experience: One of my favorite toners! It’s my second bottle emptied and it will stay in my rotation. It’s not a miracle product. But I truly enjoy the light and refreshing scent and how it calms my skin and provides an extra layer of hydration. Plus it’s packed with antioxidants (third one on the ingredient list after water and aloe vera extracts)! I use it both AM and PM after cleansing and before serums.

Don’t be afraid
If you’ve done any light research into retinol you may be scared to start. Or confused on which one to use. You may have heard it causes dryness and skin to peel. But you can safely use a retinol if you do it right. *I absolutely urge you to do some research yourself and if you even take the time to search within Cherie, you’ll find a lot of information from awesome creators who’ve researched and tried many different brands. There are so many viable options out there and if you are not dealing with chronic skin conditions that require a dermatologist, you may just find one that works for you. Retinol is added to creams that go on your skin. It boosts the amount of collagen your body makes and plumps out skin, cutting down fine lines and wrinkles. It also improves skin tone and color and reduces mottled patches. Retinol makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays and sunlight, decreases the efficacy of the product, so it’s best to use at night, AND do not forget sunscreen in the am! Retinol can be started as early as your 20’s. The goal is to stop the signs of aging for as long as we can. Who doesn’t want to look like they are in their 20’s when they are 40+...🙋‍♀️ I read Caroline Hirons Skincare book and did not agree with her placement of retinol. I place mine everywhere! From the top of my forehead to the top of my breasts. My neck and chest are probably the biggest indicator of my age. The retinol I use never bothers me but if it did I’d either find a different one for those areas or try adding a light layer of moisturizer before my retinol. You don’t have to spend $100’s of dollars on a retinol. The one I use lasts approximately 3 months or more as I am only using it 2-3 nights a week and it’s the highest level of this particular retinol. The amount needed for my face is only pea sized so I am essentially using two pea sized to cover the areas I wish. I’ve tried - THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum at just $10 all the way up to Medik8 - Crystal Retinal at $100 It takes AT LEAST 2-3 months before you will notice any changes. You may notice softer skin, but the significant changes take time. I started just as this chart indicates. We all want fast results but if you move too quickly you WILL damage your skin. Then it will take months to repair that damage and you’ll be essentially starting over. It’s important to know, I DO NOT use retinol every night as I alternate between my chemical exfoliator (Honeymoon Glow), and sometimes use my vitamin c at night, and usually give my skin one night a week with only a moisturizer to bed. It’s just the routine I’ve developed and it works for me. It is not recommended that you use retinols and other actives at the same time. I hope I’ve offered you a little bit of insight into the world of retinol. Please reach out to me or anyone on here who has experience using them and we will offer whatever help we can. ❤️🍒

“NO FAIL” RETINOL ROUTINE - PM
I shared earlier this week my “no fail” AM skincare routine the products seen in that post I’ve used time and time again. They’ve never let me down and along with the ones listed here, are repurchases that keep my skin happy and healthy! Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Cleanser I like to use this cleanser when my face needs a little extra pampering. Milk Cleanser is super soft and gentle and leaves my face feeling very nourished. INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner same as used in the AM. I'm from - Rice Toner I honestly cannot get enough of hydrating products, especially when I am using my retinal. I have probably five open at this time and will use them all or a few at a time. This Rice Toner is so soft and smooth. If you’re into essences or toners this is a must try! I splash a few drops into my hand and then pat it onto my face leaving it wet until I add.... THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum I lock the Rice Toner in with HA. I am indoors most of the time, a bit of a recluse, but my skin still get very dry so I lock in the hydration first and end with the moisturizer! Medik8 - Crystal Retinal this is a bit expensive but well worth it to me because within weeks of use I saw significant changes. I’ve been asked my so many what I use for skincare as I have hardly any lines and I used to worship the sun with no sunscreen (⚠️) But I’ve been lucky and take very good care of my skin now. You only need a pea size amount of retinal for your face and add it to DRY skin. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask last up is my new favorite (on my second bottle), the YTTP Dream Mask. You only need a small amount with this and I go through about two a year as I use it every night. It’s gentle enough to use nightly but if you’re using other treatments you may want to alternate nights (if you have sensitive skin as it has vitamin c). You can put a light layer of moisturizer on before applying this but for me, this is plenty. The Crystal Retinal I use is non-drying so I am good with just the mask. But if your retinol tends to dry your face, I’d recommend adding a light layer of moisturizer before the dream mask. ⭐️ That’s it! You could eliminate the 2 toners (Co-Q10 & Rice Toner) and simplify it down to 4 steps. I’ll be sharing my PM exfoliating routine soon! One of my favorites!!! I never thought I’d love exfoliating so much 😂 Much ❤️ my @cherie family! 🍒 #cheriecreator

Youth to the People dreams ☁️🌈
Me: DRY skin in winter (combo in summer), very sensitive/reactive/allergic, currently acne prone, also have a nose that is very picky about scents Onto my next bunch of brand minis, I tried the YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - With Pride Minis Kit Overall excellent kit for the price, all good products worth trying, and generously sized minis! Least Favorite: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial This one was just kind of anticlimactic for me. It smelled nice, it worked fine, it didn’t bother my skin, but I also didnt see much of a difference? Overall good physical exfoliator, but maybe physical exfoliators just arent for me. The next physical exfoliant I’m trying is the GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder Second Place: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I liked this cleanser. As a dry skin person I was SURE this would be too stripping, but actually it wasnt too bad! I am definitely more of a creamy cleanser person, but I can see myself loving this in summer. I like the ingredients, and i like the green juice smell. Overall ~4.5 stars. My next “green juice” cleanser to try is the Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser The Absolute Best 😍😍😍: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask literally a dream. Hydrated and glowy and smooth and so much more. I’m realizing that it is quite hard to get both hydrated AND glowing. This smells delicious and makes my face feel like a baby’s butt in the morning. Absolutely 10 stars all around. I’m trying out another vitamin c sleeping mask (KORRES - Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial) but honestly, I dont even know why because i should just take the plunge and buy the jumbo size of this dream mask ☁️🌈 How do you feel about YTTP? I’m curious to try the moisturizers. I love the green smell but I’m guessing the superfood air whip moisturizer will be too light for me. Any dry folks who have tried both? Also need to try the superberry oil, especially if it smells like the mask! Also, which of their two eye creams would you recommend trying? Leave it in the comments!

Lit From Within Glowwww✨😍
I recently started using these 4 products for almost 2 weeks now & I’m never turning back!!! •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask •Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I have never had such a consistent glow to my skin since starting these! I get complimented daily! I love these products so much. The two Youth To The People creams absorb so quickly & don’t leave it feeling like you have all this junk on your face either. My previous moisturizer would always pill up once I went to put anything else on my face & these don’t do that! The Glossier serum is also extremely light & doesn’t clog pores which is something I was worried about initially. It comes out in this pinkish color but it doesn’t turn your skin any other, it just gives you a dewy look. & the Youth To The People serum is amazing of course! It literally gives me this glow like no other! A little bit goes a very long way, as with most of their products. Now I just need to clear up the little bit of texture I have left in my chin! I blame it on the fact that I went out quite a bit the last week (church, grocery shopping, random errands) & of course wore a mask the whole time! Resulting in some maskne 😢 But that is just temporary! As is every blemish! I definitely recommend trying these products guys! They are HOLY GRAILS if there ever was one! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

Did you know that this oil could do THIS? 🤭
Now that I have your attention, do swipe left to experience some dream time with ✨𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕙 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕖 ℙ𝕖𝕠𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝕊𝕦𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕓𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕪 ℍ𝕪𝕕𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕖 + 𝔾𝕝𝕠𝕨 𝔻𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞 𝕆𝕚𝕝 ✨ 📝Apart from excellent ingredients like maqui berries, açaí, prickly pear, squalane, and vitamin c, this oil is super light-weight and absorbs easily and beautifully into my skin. I’ve found it to be very versatile, so I will include ways in which I use it. Feel free to add some more in the comment section! 🌿As a night oil and last step in my nighttime routine 🌿Under light makeup to give an extra dewy glow 🌿On my eyelids just before I apply my eyeshadow and I’ve found that it intensifies the color! (Look at my last Dossier perfume post to see the effect on my eyeshadow) 🌿As a fortifying product to any light face cream (I add 2-4 drops into the cream and mix with my palms and then apply. I’ve found this useful for my Vegreen daily moisture cream, which I love but tends to be too light for my dry winter skin.) 🌿As part of a two-step routine for days when my skin is feeling extra sensitive and I want to keep things gentle. I would rinse my face with tepid water, apply a gentle serum and then 2-3 drops of the super berry oil. ✨Did you find any useful tips here? How do YOU use your superberry oil?✨ [AD] - #yttppartner YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil

DEEP yet GENTLE EXFOLIATING WASH
This is one of my most favorite cleansers. It provides a deep oil-free cleanse that purifies your face without leaving it dry. Who is it for? Everyone can use this beauty! Safe for all skin types! - Pores - Dullness & Uneven Skin - Oiliness How does it work? It cleanses with amino acids derived from silk gentle enough for even the most delicate skin, leaving skin soft, refreshed and comfortably hydrated. With the power of the Japanese Luffa fruit, a natural beauty multi-tasker beloved by Japanese women for centuries. Ground fibers from the fruit exfoliate, helping to turn over dead skin cells, deeply purifying & decongesting pores, while the fruit extract beautifies and conditions skin. Japanese Wild Rose works to visibly tighten pores and smooth skin texture, while Japanese Leopard Lily helps minimize excess oil. Suggested use: Add an almond sized amount to damp hands and face. Rub together to create a foam. Gently massage your face avoiding the eye area. Can be used daily. My take: I personally like to take this with my damp hands and face and go directly onto my face and then get the lather going. I like to feel the tiny particles going to work on my face. They feel more like a product buildup than a typical exfoliating product can be. Super gentle! You’re not going to get major results that you’d see from using a strong exfoliating treatment. But if you’re looking to amp up your results, to me this is a good wash to add into your routine. Especially for those who are really trying to get rid of dull skin, uneven texture and oiliness. Price: $38/5oz Have you tried TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser ? Hope you had a great week my skinnies! ❤️🍒

This $4 hand soap smells just like Tatcha!
If you love Tatcha products, you’re probably down with their included fragrance that is, in my opinion, quite similar across many products. I haven’t tried every Tatcha product, but I’ve tried a lot of them. This is such a good find! So affordable, but smells so luxe! 💎This particular “bluebell” hand soap by Mrs. Meyer’s smells exactly like the slightly floral, herbaceous scent of Tatcha creams, the Rice Wash, The Deep Cleanse & more. #Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day - Bluebell liquid hand soap[products]#[FiveStars] $3.99/12.5 oz So, in addition to smelling very luxury & expensive, like Tatcha, this is also a really good liquid hand soap. 🪴Mrs. Meyer’s site describes the scent as “garden fresh blue-violet & delicate floral fragrances” 🫒It’s not as drying as other hand soaps I’ve used the $2-$4 price range, thanks to olive oil & aloe. (Full ingredients in the slides) 🦋It only contains natural fragrances, & is free of Phthalates & Parabens. No dyes or artificial colors & it’s not tested on animals! No MEA or DEA. This brand is pretty easy to find, I know it’s often at Target!

Updated Night Routine!
I had a lot of empties in January, so here is my updated night routine! I have a post detailing actives that I use and my schedule around those actives, so they won’t be included in this post. My first step is my double-cleansing step, I use the Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser (📍)to remove SPF and makeup, which I really love, it’s very unique, but it doesn’t break me out at all. Then I use the LANEIGE - Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser (📍) to cleanse a second time, I really enjoy this too, my skin tends to freak out when it comes to Laneige’s fragrance, but this is fragrance-free!! After cleansing I steam my face with the Dr Dennis Gross - Pro Facial Steamer which I feel like has really helped the hydration levels of my skin. After that I’ll apply the TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener (📍)which I also like, but I’m not sure how much it’s really done for my skin for what it’s worth. I’ll steam again, for about 30 seconds and then go into my PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum which is the only serum that can truly repair my moisture barrier when I’m breaking out. Then my eye product is The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (📍)which I’ve been loving a lot too! My current winter moisturizer is the Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream which again, I like, but it feels like it puts a barrier on my skin, which kind of felt weird to begin with. After moisturizer, my last two steps are to treat any breakouts or spots with the Murad - Blemish Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment and use something to lock it all in like the The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil it does the job, but smells super weird. The only way I’ve been able to describe it is, picture the olive bar at a local grocery store, and the smell that comes from that. Not super pleasant, but it’s okay. 📍= product was sent to me for free

My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)
My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil Best all over oil! Such a rich, nourishing product. I have a separate review of this where I go more in-depth YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner This toner is so gentle yet efficient! Bright, toned skin! I’ve been using one by OleHenriksen that I would say is comparable but I much prefer the YTTP. It just leaves my skin so soft and glowing. It is recommended you only use this 2-3 times a week as it’s strong! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask Best overnight moisturizing mask ever! An absolute favorite! Again, I have a separate review of this! I think this one is a must for everyone!!! TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Luxe! Love this essence. I’ve noticed brighter, plumper skin since using. My face is looking so healthy since adding this to my routine. Definitely a keeper! TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser My favorite physical exfoliant. Gentle enough to use every day. I am in love with this! I typically am not a fan of physical exfoliates as my face can be sensitive but this is nothing like what I’ve tried before. A dime size covers my entire face and the exfoliating products in it I can feel but are super gentle. No sand or grit feel at all. And I love that I can use this safely as a daily cleanser FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya Still currently testing this one out/on the fence. Sometimes it works really well for me and other times, not so much. I am not a fan of the tacky feeling it leaves so I don’t think this will be a repurchase for me. I much prefer Honey Drop or even Better Daze Ahead #CherieCreator

PM routine
PM routine
Here’s one of my current PM routines. have dry skin. My main concerns are hydration, anti aging, and closed comedones with the occasional breakout philosophy - Purity Made Simple Cleanser cleanse! Cleansing is my least favorite step in my routine. But I am enjoying this cleanser because it makes removing makeup easy. I need a cleanser that removes all makeup, especially eye, without irritation of my eyes. It’s a creamy consistency which I like because it doesn’t dry or strip my skin of natural oils. It gets the job done GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner toning! I only use one toner per night but this is one product that I often rotate with a few others in my collection. I am a big fan of this toner. Made with niacinamide it works to lessen the look of pores and brighten skin. I love the consistency of this toner, it’s slightly more viscous which makes it fun to apply. My skin feels and looks smooth when I use this often. CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution I am mainly using this product just to use it up. I wish I could say that I love it but to me it’s just meh. It’s supposed to be a highly concentrated serum that combats dark spots, and boosts radiance. I haven’t noticed much difference that I can attribute to this product really. The scent is a little off to me as well, it kind of smells like leaves, dirt, and nature 😂 don’t ask me why. At 79$ it’s not something I would repurchase. FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum chemical exfoliation. I’ve been using honeymoon glow in place of TLC Framboos because I got a set around the holidays. I do like this serum quite a bit. It provides chemical exfoliation in the form of AHA/BHA gentle flowers is blend. I do notice good results when I use this. It fades fine lines and wrinkles, and loosens dead skin cells. It also has the added benefit of hyaluronic acid which helps the skin retain moisture which is something I appreciate since I have such dry skin. At 58$ it is a more affordable option to TLC Framboos and I think it’s a good place to start. However in the end I still prefer TLC Earthen eye cream. I’ve been using this cream which is said to reduce dark circles by changing the surface reflection of skin and improving hydration to combat the look of dark circles. My dark circles are generic and unfortunately no cream will change their appearance so this did not work for me. it does keep the skin nice and hydrated which is appreciated. LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask a good but simple moisturizer. I apply over everything to lock in serums and boost skins hydration overnight. Infused with a high concentration of mineral water to deliver high doses of moisture. I enjoy this one! SJÖ SKIN - Happy Honey Oil A gorgeous oil to lock it all in! ILOVE it.

Where my homies at? 🙋‍♀️ . Pictured are a few of my favorite products I am using right now. I tried to give a good variety from cleansers, toners, serums (actives), eye cream, moisturizers and oils. I forgot my essences which I have been using a lot of hydrating ones. . ———- Has your state/county started to lift restrictions? (WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED) We now have salons (hair and nail), gyms and pools open. And professional sports can play without spectators. This week, restaurants and some fast food places are beginning to open with a limit on customers as they must abide by social distancing regulations. My husband said one of the malls was opening this weekend as well. . Personally I can’t form an opinion on this. I haven’t listened to the news in a month. I’m hoping those in charge of making these decisions have carefully weighed the pros/cons and know what the hell they are doing. I fear still for our hospitals but again, I am not sure if our government feels we are more prepared. I try to stay away from the news as it causes a lot of anxiety for me. I seriously hope one day soon we will see the toilet paper isle fully stocked and feel like we quite possibly all were apart of a big prank! - seriously, we have not seen tp in months!!! And when my husband finally spotted paper towels - you know, the ones where you need the entire roll to clean up a mess - they wanted $10 for 2 cheap rolls! Ugh! . Blessings to you all! Stay safe and be well! 💚 #CherieCreator

Youth To The People [discovery Kit]
I had to finally mention the amazing products that is @youthtothepeople their products have made such an impactful difference in my skin, which has made me much more confident. Adaptogen deep moisture cream with herbs and mushrooms to clam the skin from stressors like UV rays and environmental pollutions. I have dry skin and it has helped me to hydrate my skin again. Superberry hydrate + glow dream mask. Helps to bring hydration and radiance back in to the skin when you leave it on overnight. This has probably been my favourite product because it’s changed the look of my skin over the few weeks I’ve been using it. It smells amazing and really hydrates your skin and creates a glow when you wake up in the morning. Supeefood cleanser is a facial cleanser with cold pressed antioxidants that keeps the natural PH balance of your skin. It removes makeup and percents build up in your pores. A great product that is clean with kale, vitamin C, spinach, and green tea. Kombucha + 11% AHA power toner. Helps to exfoliate and smooth out the skin. Applied after cleanser this is probably my second favourite product. With Lactic acid, and glycolic Acid it helps to chemically exfoliate the skin and remove any dead skin cells while leaving the skin smooth. Youth to the people is a brand that focuses on clean skin care, environmentally friendly products with their glass containers and 100% vegan ingredients you gotta love this brand. Gifted, but opinions are my own🧡✨

Some mini reviews on this Memo
Some mini reviews on this Memorial Day Monday! ⁣ ⁣ ▫️youthtothepeople Mint Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream: this is a great, lightweight moisturizer that I’ve been loving for my summer (extremely oily) skin. It’s enriched w/ kale, spinach, green tea & hyaluronic acid & smells SO good (clean 🥬 scent). My mini is almost empty & I’m wishing I had a restock!⁣ ⁣ ▫️YTTP Superfood Cleanser: I’ve been through 2 minis of this cleanser-it smells so good (similar to the moisturizer) & leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. HOWEVER, my skin does require routine use of salicylic acid in a cleanser (or else I break out) so I can only incorporate this cleanser into my routine a few times/week (I took this mini w/ me on a trip last week & left behind my regular, full-size cleanser...& I had lots of blackheads by the end of the week). Soooo this cleanser probably works best for non-acne-prone skin⁣ ⁣ ▫️peterthomasroth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum: this is a hydrating, hyaluronic acid-containing serum that’s very lightweight & similar to b-hydra (a tad thicker than b hydra but still lightweight enough to wear under makeup). I add this to my AM routine when my skin is in need of a little bit more hydration 👌🏻⁣ ⁣⁣ ▫️Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: this overnight, hydrating mask smells really good & it really does leave my skin plump & glowy in the mornings... but unfortunately it clogs my pores b/c I always start to notice small bumps abt 2 days after using it. So many people rave about it though so if your skin doesn’t get congested easily, you might love it too! ⁣ ⁣⁣ ▫️Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask: this is my 2nd mini of this mask to finish & I do notice a pretty “glow” after using it, but after trying A LOT of masks over the past few months, I wouldn’t say this is a life-changer for my skin. I still think it’s a good product (& the bright purple color is so fun 🤗) but I have others that I prefer⁣ ⁣⁣ ▫️drlancerrx Radiance Awakening Mask: another brightening mask that I’ve been testing recently-it’s an overnight mask that contains vitamin C & niacinamide (among other ingredients) to help brighten skin.
