I never thought my pale ass would be in love with a bronzer, but here we are. This is the first bronzer I’ve ever found that works for my skin tone without looking orange! This product comes in a variety of shades rather than just one generic bronze color designed to fit the medium range of skin tones. This product also smells like a coconut island vacation dream, I can’t get enough of it! The scent doesn’t irritate me at all because it’s over several barrier layers by that point. benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set Who says this has to be used as a bronzer? It can be used as a contour if your skin color allows. AS WELL AS BLUSH! One day I forgot to bring my blush so I used this for blush and wow! It’s not the pink girly popping blush I’m used to but it’s a more sophisticated and more business like manner. I’m totally digging this product for that purpose as well. It’s a shade that’s not too harsh and it’s super blendable. Love it! Totally recommend this if you haven’t tried this product! Will repurchase!

I am a highlighter collector. One of my dream is to collect all colors of highlight. Lol. I've bought pink highlighter palettes of CPB, purple highlighter sticks and pink highlighter palettes of Fenty beauy before. Today, I want to compare two Japanese brands, Shiseido and Illamasqua. Shiseido was bought on Nordstrom's official website, and Illamasqua was bought from Amazon. I have run out of one Shiseido, the color called pk107. This is my second pk107. It should be one of my favorite highlighter. I always wear then under my eyes and on my chin. You can find the blue light under the sun and it has a puffy effect. The blue light can make me look young. It contains a highlighter brush, which is very soft. You don’t need to buy any other brush. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Color For Illamasqua,I only used twice. The color is very special green, not too daily and is hard to match. Unless my friends hold a “green party”, all girls decorate themselves as Christmas tree, ok, I can think about this highlighter. ILLAMASQUA - Beyond Powder Highlighter

In terms of bronzer and blush, they’re both makeup products used on cheeks. They can both add points to your makeup finish. However, their definite target and applying area are different.   At first, you should know differences and proper usage. I define their difference in three aspects. As to the applying area, blush is usually applied on your cheeks, bronzer is usually applied on your cheekbones and around the perimeter of your face, like your temples and forehead, basically the places where the sun typically hits. Secondly, as to the purpose. Blush brightens up your face and highlight your visage, while bronzer gives you the perfectly sun-kissed glow. If you love the tanning skin tone, maybe bronzer is your must-have cosmetics. Thirdly, about the color. Most blushes are pink, purple and red while bronzers are usually different types of brown. Compared with bronzer, blush is more wearable and universal. However, bronzer could give you a tanning look without the risk of sunburnt.   This is my fav bronzer and blush. You can see their obvious difference from the pics. Since my skin tone is light, I prefer slight red blush to add some fresh complexion. I will apply the blush on my cheeks and blend it around. I pick CLINIQUE’s fig pop as its color is very special and looks vivid. As to the bronzer, I love Benefit’s HOOLA, which is very famous and well-recommended by many Ins celebrities. HOOLA has a small brush in it, but I prefer to use my own bronzer brush. I usually apply it across my cheekbones, down the sides of nose, hairline and beneath the jawline, to give me an instant, natural-looking tan. MAC. Soft&gentle Highlighter   Price: US$36 I bought this because the shade of double Gleam is out of stock. But it’s beyond my expectations. I usually use it on my cheeks. It’s shimmery but not overly shimmery, you know? My skin was plumped immediately after I apply it. It’s glowing no matter what angles you are looking from. Besides that, it quite long-lasting. Not only the highlighter itself, but also the look it finishes is quite beautiful to me. I thought the shade would be a little bit darker. But once it was applied to my skin, the shimmer and the tone are just perfect match for me. It’s so natural.  Colourpop Lunch Money Price: US$8 I’m always loyal to colourpop. I never made mistakes in choosing colourpop products. I really want to talk about all of my colourpop products. Here I will take this Colourpop highlighter as a start. Compared to MAC Soft&gentle, I thought this lunch money could be the dupe in some case. Firstly, the price of MAC soft&gentle is almost 5 times than Colourpop Lunch Money. Secondly, the shimmer of lunch money is similar to Soft&gentle. They are both easy to apply with fingers. MAC soft&gentle is definitely worthy. But colourpop Lunch money is more affordable. And the iconic formula is literally fancy. By the way, I would choose Lunch money when I hang out and clubbing with my girls.
