GOT SOME NEW GOODIES!
So 2 of the 4 products I REPURCHASED & the other 2 products are NEW for me! REPURCHASED: 1. Heritage Store- Black Castor oil. THIS MAKES MY EYEBROWS AND EYELASHES GROW BABY. I am 24 and when I was 13 I made the mistake of literally plucking off both of my eyebrows till there was like 3 hairs left. I didn’t know what to do in order to regrow them besides take biotin. But I discovered this baby at my local grocery store and every night for like 5 years I just put this on my eyebrows and I have the fullest nicest brows!!! I re purchased it because I want even FULLER brows now. I haven’t used this oil in like 2 years but I know once I get back on my regimen my brows are gonna grow!!! I will eventually put up my brow growth journey pics on here! 2. MAYBELLINE - Instant aye rewind concealer. This is a great drugstore concealer and has been around FOR YEARS! My mom introduced me to this baby. Great for under the eyes or a QUICK touch up on the go but it’s not some holy grail ultimate 25/8 coverage concealer. But again this is amazing for a brightening affect under your eyes and if you have a little blemish you want to just cover up real quick in the car because you only have 5 mins to do your makeup. NEWBIES: 3. FLESH- Pure Flesh liquid foundation. I hope I like this product!! I purposely bought a darker shade for the upcoming summer months. It was on sale at ULTA ONLINE ONLY from like $35 to $16 so I said “why not try it out?!” I will give y’all a review of this product after a few uses. 4. HOLIKA HOLIKA- Aloe 99% soothing gel SO EXCITED 4 THIS ONE !!! I dermablade my face and I saw a video of a woman putting a light layer of aloe before dermablading and it causes less irritation and acts like a soothing barrier for your face and the blade. Also, 99% Aloe is AMAZING FOR FADING ACNE SCARS!! And I have acne scars that need a little TLC. All brands online that basically carry 99% aloe gel were sold out so I could only find this like 2oz bottle on ULTA for $4. I won’t use this everyday so hopefully it will stay with me for a while. ALWAYS EXCITED TO TRY NEW MAKEUP AND SKINCARE PRODUCTS YAY !! 🎨💕🆒

Guys. Let's talk about aloe vera for a minute. 💚 Aloe Vera is one of my number one products that I have for many different reasons! Aloe Vera has a lot of healing properties, being packed with a bunch of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and amino acids! 🌈 About twice a week, especially when my skin is inflamed and sensitive, I will just put aloe vera on my face before bed and wake up with amazingly hydrated, glowy skin! It's super great at combatting acne and dehydrated skin! When your skin is super sensitive and inflamed, I set suggest using this as a moisturizer! 💙 I will mix it into my foundation when I want a dewy look, also!! It's great, because the aloe will help create a flawless, glowy look and acts as a primer.🥰🥰 The higher the percentage of aloe on the bottle, the better!! That's why I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product, specifically!! 😍😍😍HOLIKA HOLIKA - Aloe 99% Soothing Gel
Alooooeeee there! You thought it ended with the cream? Well there’s two more! ➖➖➖ 💚 Holika Holika Aloe 97% Soothing Lotion (Intensive Moisturizing) 〰️ This lotion has organic jeju ferment with 21 natural ingredients that protect and moisturize the skin. This has no scent which I totally appreciate and just like the gel, it soothes and hydrate without stickiness. You can either pick from the two depending on which type you like or use them both! 〰️ 💚 Holika Holika Aloe 99% Soothing Gel 〰️ This is my second aloe gel to try and just like skinny, I AM OBSESSED. I use this on parts where it’s usually dry and itchy and it does its job soooo well. I use this for my face and body. It absorbs really fast and it isn’t tacky. It has that signature aloe scent I find really relaxing. 〰️ I’ve also seen some reviews where this helped lighten their acne scars. I can’t vouch for it yet because I don’t always apply this on my face and this isn’t the first product I’ll use if I wanted to fade my PIHs (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentations). This is perfect before and after plucking/waxing. I store both of these on my fridge and I love the extra cooling/soothing sensation!
Don’t Know How to Choose Maybelline Concealer?
Don’t Know How to Choose Maybelline Concealer? Here Is the Review for You! Hey my gals, you must have seen these two concealers from Maybelline in every drugstore orsupermarket. We love it because of many reasons! You know, I'm an acne prone skin. I swear you cannot imagine what my pimples, blackheads andacnes I'm enduring. I hope every beauty would leave far away from this annoying problem. As a student who doesn't want to spend much time browsing the Internet to find a good concealer. I choose to just walk into a drugstore and pick two concealers from our common knowing Maybelline brand. I have to tell you that these two concealers are different in many aspects. (But both of them are affordable! ） Maybelline Fit Me Concealer This is the thin one. As you can see, it is medium to high coverage. I used an eyeliner to test it's coverage. It claims to oil-free concealers conceal redness, flaws, and blemishes. And it's an non-comedogenic concealer. Fragrance-free. I'm the best person to say it never caused me any more breakouts which surprised me a lot. But it's not so hydrated as it claims. I will not us it under my eyes. It's too dry which will lead to clumpy. Maybelline Eraser This is the big one with a sponge applicator. I like it, it's not dry, not pricy of course and easy to use. But I have to notice you that the applicator is easy to become dirty. This concealer is light coverage. It can be used as foundation with suitable shade. And it do really have various shades. I cannot live without this concealer because i tend to get dry patches in this season. This eraser clams my dry patches and give me appropriate coverage.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind
Quoted via the Maybelline site: “BENEFITS This concealer for dark circles and fine lines instantly creates a radiant, refreshed looking eye area. Infused with goji berry and Haloxyl™. Packaging may vary, what you receive may not be what is reflected on site.” I legit have 3 of these in my vanity because I love it so much. I user this with a full face of makeup but also on days I just want to cover my dark circles. It blends easily and doesn’t look heavy at all. It is definitely buildable as well. It doesn’t crease but I also always make sure to use an eye cream before applying!! I recommend this concealer I love it! It is wallet friendly at $9.99! ☺️ MAYBELLINE - Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer 6.8ml
I’d rather get coal than Flesh Beauty Foundation
Ughhhhhh I wanted to like this foundation so badly. I had never used a Flesh product before and I really like the idea of the brand. However, this liquid foundation is a watery matte cakey drying mess. It’s not the worst foundation I’ve tried but it doesn’t do anything I want. It doesn’t cover much, it stings upon application, and It clings to dry patches. It, in fact does not look like pure flesh but more like “HELLO IM WEARING MAKEUP.” The shade was too light for me and I looked like a doll, so that could be part of why I hated it. I’ve heard such good things about the little stick foundation. Maybe try that instead? flesh - Pure Liquid Foundation
Flesh beauty liquid foundation! They’re one of my favorite make up brands because they’re cruelty free, affordable, they have great ingredients, and they always look good on. I love their packaging, and I love what they stand for. Usually when something is good for all skin types I have to prep my skin with an oil, moisturizer, or something like that because it tends to dry me out so I went about priming my skin the way I normally would with this “good for all skin types” make up... the particular oil I used made it pill so I started over. This time I used my usual skin routine with a cream sunscreen. It did great! Stats: Retails $32/ 1 oz / 40 shades It’s a liquid foundation based with a weightless water base. To help last all day medium coverage and it’s somewhat thick. I’m used to wearing sheer make up or tinted moisturizer so to me it’s a little thick though it blend it out with the stippling brush pretty good. I think it would do better with a beauty blender! Key ingredients: infused with aloe, glycerin, squalane, hyaluronic acid, pomegranate extract, e a velvety finish. I mean LOOK at these ingredients. I did not powder over it I left it on no powder and it feels weightless it feels beautiful if feels like my skin. And I think they did a great job on this formula once again! And just look at the shade range!!! The shade range has blown my mind! I told them I was a light neutral shade, so they sent me the top five that could be a match. The darkest one was a perfect match, it’s called BIRTHDAYCAKE 🤣 go figure that’s my color haha perfect match! It’s buildable or you can sheer it out with their primer or a dab of moisturizer. Not cakey at all! Love! ✔️Cruelty free ✔️Vegan ✔️NO SILICONE ✔️NO FRAGRANCE
THE ORDINARY HAS FOUNDATIONS?! WHAT?!!!
Product: The texture is not too watery, but it's also not thick. This foundation is lightweight. I wouldn't say full coverage, because I could still see my acne scars and spots, but it is buildable. It didn't make the appearance of my pores large. It does have a semi-matte finish. This foundation didn't control my oiliness that much, because I was still oily around my T-zone area. Review: I love the foundation, because it's very affordable, I love the finish, and the coverage is buildable. However, I noticed that it accentuate my dry patches. It was also patchy in my cheek area. I suggest to use a hydrating primer or apply a good moisturizer underneath it. I liked that it covered the redness around my nose. Overall: This is actually my second time purchasing this product, because it's really affordable and has good coverage. However, you do need a good primer or moisturizer if you want your skin to be flawless the entire day. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin people, because I have oily skin and it was drying for me. Is the Milk Hydro Grip Primer worth it? weartest
What are your thoughts on primers? Honestly for a long time I thought they were useless. They dried out my skin and caused terrible breakouts. Until I heard ALL THE HYPE about this primer and tried it out! This is my second travel bottle of Milk’s Hydro Grip Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer I have pretty dry skin so my main goal throughout the day is to stay hydrated—I hate when my makeup clings to and accentuates my dry spots. So let’s do a wear test, shall we?! Application—8:30 AM: Today is a work day so I’m up and I’m just doing my usual—spot concealing my acne scars and any current redness or breakouts with my holy grail concealer which is Milk’s Flex concealer formula: Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer. I am working with the general public still so my face will be covered by a mask, so I’m only concealing—no blush or bronzer or foundation. I dot the concealer on the areas of my face I want it to cover the most and let it sit for a few minutes, then stipple blend it out with a dense foundation brush. The primer is STICKY so the concealer on that side has a little more coverage. You can see in the photo I still have texture, which I wasn’t trying to avoid anyway, but no dry spots! Yay! Note my little pimple on my smile line on the primer side, which is MY LEFT (your right :)). External forces: I still have to leave my house to go to work nowadays, so I have to wear a mask over my face—this subjects my skin to friction. Even more of a test for the primer 😉 but luckily my masks are not uncomfortable so I don’t mind! I don’t feel itchy or irritated on my primer side during the whole day. I don’t feel terribly irritated on my non-primed side either, but I can see the concealer starting to flake off on my cheeks. Wear test complete—4:30 PM: I get home from work to asses the damage. Face mask indents aside, my smile line pimple looks COVERED still! The places where my mask was rubbing have less coverage, but the side that wasn’t primed is definitely more red. My goal was to stop dryness but it helped longevity wise too! Final thoughts: I love this primer omg! If you are a normal to dry skin type with dry acne spots this keeps your skin hydrated and flake/crepe free. It also has a slight cooling sensation due to its cool gel formula and texture. I would recommend trying a mini or getting a sample before purchasing, as always. Rating: 5/5. This is one of the only face primers I care to use that I trust!

Makeup Forever Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer
My insta-bestie @glowwitherin sent me this concealer and I’ve been testing it out as it’s a new one to me. I actually really like the formula and have been using it on “no makeup days” to just even out my skin tone. It is a close match for my skin colour so it’s not one I use under my eyes to brighten but just in places to cover redness or a breakout. So far, I really do like this one!

How I match my face skin tone to my body 👏🏻
Hi friends! If you’ve been following me on Cherie or my Instagram for a while, you’ve probably seen me talk about my rosacea and redness/acne prone skin. This makes it kind of difficult for me to find an accurate foundation shade since I’m not trying to match it to my face shade—I want to match it to my body/chest color! Enter Clinique’s line specifically created for fair skinned people with rosacea and redness. This product in particular, the redness solutions makeup CLINIQUE - Redness Solutions Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology has been a lifesaver for me on days or nights when I’m attending events and I want to take my look to the next level. This foundation has technology in it to help correct redness without an icky green cream and it helps your redness overall over time. Personally, I don’t have the patience to do my makeup every day so I haven’t noticed a difference in my overall redness but using this once or twice a month has really opened my eyes to this line of products. I made sure to get a sample of this from Ulta before making the splurge (it costs $30 for a 1oz tube of foundation) and I’m so glad I did! My skin is very reactive to any allergenic/natural ingredients so I try to get samples when I can. The sample I got was only a small amount and I’ve been able to stretch its use over 4-5 months. It’s a thicker formula but blends out super easily and is weightless on the skin. I don’t set it with powder when I wear it and it has pretty great staying power! The photos above are my skin with ONLY foundation — I usually follow up with concealer in spots that I don’t use foundation like my undereyes. Photo 2-dabs of the product on half of my face Photo 3-the foundation blended out on half of my face Photo 4-my entire face covered in the foundation This foundation has completely blown me away (I was skeptical because their redness products in the past did not work for me). When it comes to luxury brands/mid-level brands, $30 for this foundation is a steal. Especially because this tiny little sample has lasted me so long—you need barely any product to cover your whole face! I highly recommend getting a sample at Ulta if you are fair skinned and want to try to combat any redness or rosacea. This helps me match my body’s skin tone exactly! Unfortunately I have to give this product 4 out of 5 stars because Clinique is not cruelty free and that deters me from buying a full size bottle of this product.

Great! A little grey!
This is one of the concealers that I picked up from the drug store when I ran out of my other nicer one! I think it cost around $4 and I’m honestly really happy with it! It’s a little lighter than my true skin tone (I am Indian with skin that tans and un-tans pretty quickly) so I like to use it on acne scars and under my eyes! It is a little grey under my eyes though so I have to be careful about applying too much. Overall though, I think it’s worth the money for a good concealer that lasts all days and generally does a good job covering up scars and marks!

elf camo concealer (matte)
e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer, Light Sand This is the MATTE camo concealer (not the new hydrating one, which has a white cap). I have fair skin but I also have rosacea which means I need to color match to my neck and chest instead of my face. Claims: - full coverage - 16 hour wear - large doe foot - won’t settle into lines My thoughts: - much more coverage than I was expecting! I can cover 100% of my deep redness with this (esp on my nose!) without looking cakey or gross. - color is perfect perfect perfect for my skin! - lasts sooo long without reapplying. I have never owned a full coverage long lasting formula like this. - the doe foot is huge and I have to apply with my finger instead or I’ll get too much product in one area. - honestly might be a too matte for me? I’m thinking about picking up the hydrating one next to compare -$6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
