Hair Care Routine
❤️Background My hair care routine is as simple and basic as my skin care routine. My hair concerns are: hereditary hair loss that is more noticable on the crown of my head, sensitive scalp and brittle ends. I follow a simple “cleanse > condition > treat” routine. ❤️CLEANSE – Phytocyane Shampoo Densifying Treatment Shampoo – 8.45 oz 🔍PHYTO is a specialist brand in botanical hair care with salon quality formulas. Its products boast the highest concentration of pure plant extracts to achieve formulas that are 95% natural overall. I was previously using a hair loss serum by the same brand and while I did not see noticable results due to big work stress, I felt that my hair loss was under control. 🔍The shampoo is a unique combination of of potent botanical extracts – gingko biloba and cinchona bark. I noticed that my hair density and shine improved, and it helped with temporarily thinning hair after prolonged use. It also contains grapeseed procyanidins to fight free radicals and protect the hair bulb at the roots level, hence reducing chances of more hair loss. 🔍As indicated on the bottle, a little goes a long way so do not be put off by the high price tag for the small volume. I pour a small dollop of the light yellow shampoo on the center of my palm and lather with water before adding to my scalp directly. Compared to other normal shampoos, my scalp feels cleaner and tigher, although I do have to be gentle with my hair washing as tugging too hard on the wet hair will reverse the effects and cause more hair to fall during shampooing... Coupled with good sleep and nutrition, this shampoo is recommended to help normalize hair fall. 🔍USD26 on Phyto ❤️CONDITION – Pantent Advanced Care 5-in-1 Conditioner – 38 oz 🔍Pantene has always been a favorite and accessible hair care brands of mine since I was young. They do have rich and moisturizing formulas that work wonders for my dry and brittle hair. While some shampoos may be too rich for my sensitive scalp, its line of conditioners work well. 🔍The creamy conditioner provides soothing and lightweight moisture to my dry hair after a deep cleanse from PHYTO shampoo. A tip is to apply to the ends of the hair and not the scalp. The cream will deep-moisturize hair, remove any pesky tangles and keep frizz at bay. I use this daily after every shampoo wash, and also when I visit the steam room for a pampering heated hair treatment. The formula contains zero parabens and phthalates. 🔍USD11.99 on Costco ❤️TREAT – Klorane SOS Serum with Peony 🔍I usually treat both my sensive scalp and the ends of my hair but for now, I only have a bottle of scalp serum until the next shopping trip. Klorane is another accessible hair care brand that I will recommend. Like PHYTO, the brand also began around 50 years ago and believes in the benefits of incorporating botanicals. To use, section hair and spray directly on towel-dried hair or dry scalp. Gently massage to distribute and do not rinse. I usually use it in the evening after a hair wash. Boasts a refreshing floral scent of peony extract, the serum also helps to soothes my sensitive and irritated scalp, reducing itch and signs of dry flakes. The non-greasy and lightweight serum also contains methol for a nice, tingling effect on the scalp. Vegan-certified as well! 🔍USD20 on Klorane

Thin hair must-have shampoo!!! Click Me
Due to stress, pollution and genetics, I suffer from minor hair loss and thinning hair at the top of my crown. Regular cleaning of my hair ensures that my hair and scalp stays clean and clear of unwanted debris and gunk. Ensuring that I use the right shampoo for my hair situation is also so important. When picking a shampoo for my thinning hair, I keep a few points in mind. I avoid shampoos containing harsh chemicals as some of these can strip hair of its natural sebum and body which will irritate the scalp. I look out for a transparent labeling which lists detailed ingredients and do my research on which are proven and tested to show efficacy. I will also lean towards brands that already have a reputation on offering such products for my needs as it gives me more assurance and guarantee that their products are backed by more niche research and testing. As such, I have been a fan of Phyto products for some time now, one of the leaders in botanical hair care worldwide. I am switching between two shampoos by this brand now - Phytocyane Densifying Treatment Shampoo for temporary thinning hair as well as Phytopanama Balancing Treatment Shampoo for oily scalp. Both products are vegan and free of parabens and silicone. I feel that the former is a more potent formlula. It helps to improve the density and luster of temporarily thinning hair with a unique combination of potent botanical extracts like Ginkgo Biloba and Cinchona Bark. It also contains Grapeseed Procyanidins to combat free radicals and protect the hair bulb at the roots level. I switch between this and the latter shampoo throughout the week. The balancing treatment shampoo is more of a daily shampoo that is more suitable for daily use. It is formulated with the patented ingredient Progénium®, which balances an oily scalp. Containing Quillaja Bark extract which gently cleanses and regulates sebum production and essential oil of juniper berries which helps purifies the scalp, the shampoo leaves my hair and scalp feeling well-cleansed and detoxed. To use, apply on damp scalp. You will not get a foamy lather like the other usual shampoos but just use a small amount and delicately massage the liquid onto the scalp and hair. Leave on for 2 minutes then rinse. The formula is a naturally liquid formula so remember to pour delicately as a little goes a long way! I usually use the Densifying Treatment Shampoo twice a day and the other on the alternate remaining days. After using this shampoo since the start of the year, my scalp is stays clean and dry for a longer period of time. The light herbal scent is also not overpowering.

With a natural scent that’s not overpowering or too feminine, the fragrance-free and paraben-free cream hydrates and allows my skin to stay supple until the next morning. It contains extra-strength emollients and humectants to bind water to your skin and prevent moisture loss. Hair care you can relate to
This Ouai smooth set has its nique technology complex targeting damaged hair. It works to calm frizz, cleanses strands and replenishes moisture to your hair. It has a nice salon scent. It is not cheap but a little goes a long way. It doesnt strip or leaves the dry feeling. My hair feels healthy plus gets a tonne of volume after a few washes. It is hydrating and keeps my hair frizz free. My hair feel so soft and smooth after using this series for 1 month. It is safe for colored hair as well. OUAI - Smooth Shampoo OUAI - Smooth Conditioner The blend of ingredients in this whole line works to produce a light, fresh fragrance. Free from sulfates, parabens and dyes. This shampoo set is designed for damaged hair and nourishes your strands from root to tip. This product is amazing. It is salon quality and it smells amazing. If you are looking for that salon feeling at home. This is definitely the product that you want to try out. It is retails for $34 dollars at Sephora. It is a little bit pricy. BUT it does a phenomenal job of exfoliating the scalp and removing all the chemical and physical product build up. If you normally put a lot of products on your hair, I strongly recommend using an exfoliating shampoo. The blend of ingredients in this whole line works to produce a light, fresh fragrance. Free from sulfates, parabens and dyes. This shampoo set is designed for damaged hair and nourishes your strands from root to tip. My hair feel so soft and smooth after using this series for 1 month. If you haven’t checked out their product, I strongly recommend you girls give it a try. I know it is on the pricier side, but it is definitely worth trying. When you actually try it on for a few weeks, you would agree that it worths every penny.
This is by far the best hair duo I’ve ever tried! I’ve been looking for hair products that are free of harsh chemicals that actually really work. They’re cruelty-free, vegan and organic. The shampoo has a thick honey-like consistency that I had grown to love. While the conditioner has the usual creamy texture. It really helps with my occasional frizz and my hair doesn’t grease afterwards. My hair feels softer, shinier and overall healthier. The volume I once lost is now back. They both smell amazing by the way. I highly recommend these two! I super love the packaging - not just aesthetically but the fact that they’re made entirely from Brazilian Sugar Cane which is 100% recyclable. I also noticed lesser hair fall and there are no more pimples on my scalp! I’ve got thin, normal - oily hair and I’ve had a hard time finding the right products for my hair and now that I have, they unfortunately don’t ship internationally yet. So I’m gonna be lost after I empty these. I was ready to repurchase and try their other hair products but ya know, South East Asia problems. Haha!
Amazing shampoo for thinning or damaged hair
#betternotyoungergiftedme their shampoo and conditioner. I’d like to share my thoughts. First off, they address haircare issues for women seeing signs of aging in their hair-whether it’s dryness, damage, or thinning. I am using “Wake Up Call” volumizing shampoo and it’s perfect for my fine, thin hair. This is seriously one of the best shampoos I’ve ever used. My hair is shiny and my curls are frizz free!! It’s safe for color or chemically treated hair. Plus it’s vegan, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free. They also sent me the “Wake Up Call” conditioner. It smells great and is smoothing without that heavy, greasy feel. Full transparency the conditioner has silicones so if you don’t use them, just get the shampoo. Use my promo code GINGER15- good for 15% off any product. https://better-notyounger.com/?rfsn=3863463.aa881c @betternotyounger #waybetterhair #betternotyounger #octolyfamily #pinkwednesday
On Wednesday I used to religiously look forward to my #washday, but as you guys know when I had my hiccup with postpartum hair loss, I was discouraged and hated seeing my hair come out in clumps. I can thankfully say that I don’t see as much shedding and I’m giddy about washing my hair all over again. - @briogeo team members Tath (Taylor & Kathleen) reached out to #gift me some products from their plant based and clean brand. I’ve seen Briogeo all over my timeline but wasn’t in the mood to try new products with my hair crisis. I’m elated that I’m able to now enjoy it in its fullness! The #ScalpRevival Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The gritty textured shampoo is packed with a bunch of awesome ingredients like charcoal, coconut oil, and peppermint oil. I enjoy the tingling clean sensation. - That tingling sensation is also felt while using the ‘Charcoal + Tea Tree Oil Scalp Treatment’. I’ve been using my finger and the treatment on my edges, but using the massager tool throughout the rest of my scalp. I don’t know why I never had one of these tools but they feel so damn good! Besides the lush feeling I finally have something in my cabinet to help stimulate my cells and allow the treatment to penetrate even more.

Gorgeous Honey Hair Oil
🍯This is the honey-infused hair oil by Gisou. It is meant to help hydrate hair and help with flyaways🍯 🐝 I have thin and dry hair and adore this. This product is pure luxury. I love using this to add hydration and softness to my hair especially when it’s feeling dry. I don’t find it to be heavy or sticky at all. It makes my hair feel healthier and a little goes a long way. 🍯It also smells absolutely heavenly and comes in a gorgeous glass container. The dropper is also glass too! So cute. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil

My current favourite hair care duo! This is perfect for daily use and both smell so damn goood and it isn’t overpowering. I’ve been looking for a nice sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and these two are it! I’m actually saving it as much as I can because this ships from Florida.✨ I noticed getting lesser hair fall and itchy scalp. I have thin hair so I do get a little problem with volume with this shampoo + conditioner. I still use it daily if I’m not going out and I use a different one + the super plant conditioner when i need to go somewhere for volume My hair doesn’t grease up anymore unlike before where it’ll look gross the next day. It’s actually not ideal to wash the hair everyday so this could be avoided with the right shampoo. The shampoo doesn’t foam up a lot like the other ones. I personally like shampoos that do but I still like it. Truly Organic Super Plant Conditioner Truly Organic Super Fruit Shampoo
