My 30+ Attempt at an E Girl Look
ass_out_for_antioxidants
⨠Hey just because weāre millennials doesnāt mean we canāt try on anything E Girl look for size. We saw Euphoria too you know.
⨠I love the trend of minimalist makeup looks with pops of color. Not all of them look great on me but I love this one because itās simple, not too over the top, but is still eye catching.
⨠First of all, you want to start with a pretty minimal base and brows. For this I use the Suntegrity 5 in 1 Tinted Sunscreen (although any tinted sunscreen, tinted moisturizer, or light coverage foundation will do) I like to set it with The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Power (although this brand has a super exclusive shade range and I will not be purchasing from them in the future. For brows I like to use the Ulta brand brow pencil it has a very thin tip and is very natural looking. A tinted brow gel can also give you this effect.
⨠For the eyes I think traditional e girl looks only use a graphic liner but personally I need to add a little more depth or Iāll look like a sunfish. Do I use a neutral toned brown in the crease (personally I prefer Freckle from the Natasha Denona Biba palette but any neutral toned brown will do. Then I do a small wing with a black felt tip liner. Now for the fun part: usually when I do this Iāll just put the pink on the inner corners I think it really pops and gives an edgy look without making me look like I have an eye infection. For this shot I also did some pink to outline the wing. My favorite product to use for this is the Suva Beauty Hydra Liners. Iāve tried a lot of āneonā graphic eyeliners and a lot of them fall short but the Suva is punchy and bright and vibrant. Just wet a detail brush, dip it into the pan, and add some pops of neon wherever your heart desires.
⨠Then you just finish up the look with mascara š¤·š»āāļø

Another Marshallās Haul
Before the snow hit in the north east, I had to hit up Marshallās so I had some new products to play with. This shopping trip I found makeup products from Becca and Milk to try out. As with any trip to Marshallās itās hit or miss with products and shade ranges, so I know this foundation is a bit too light, but the undertone was right. There were also a few other things I wanted, but their packaging was open and the products were clearly touched.
So letās dive in to what I used for this look (3rd pic, I donāt use any filters/beauty mode).
Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I like the powdery finish it leaves on my skin. Iāll have to use it a few more times before I decide how much I like it.
BECCA - Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation Iām generally not a fan of full coverage foundation. But this does not feel heavy or caking on my skin (yes, itās a shade too light). I applied it pretty lightly, but you can easily build this up to you preferred coverage level.
BECCA - Limited Edition Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. I usually only use powder lightly under my eyes o set my concealer, but this was so light that I used it all over my face. It did not settle into my fine lines or make me look dry (aging skin). I applied with a velour puff and used a fluffy brush to remove the excess.
Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Iām a big fan of cream products and the fact that this does double duty, lips and cheeks, makes it a winner in my book.
Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara Iāve been dying to try this mascara (if youāve read any of my previous posts, you know Iām on an unending hunt for the perfect mascara). But I couldnāt justify the price tag if it was just going to end up in the āmehā pile of mascaras I already have. It gave a great first impression, but Iāll have to use it a few more times before I decide to invest in a full sized tube.
For under $40, I got to try some high end products that are usually out of my budget. I love Marshallās for exactly this reason!
What is your favorite Marshallās find?

Best mascara ever!
ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara
If you like long, natural looking lashes like me, this is the perfect mascara! The double sided wand helps apply product and separates your lashes for a natural finish. Itās long wearing and Iāve never had a problem with smudging, which is the number one thing I look out for in mascaras. Itās very comparable to Glossierās Lash Stick, but at more of an affordable price + you get more usage. Itās a great, clean formula and a holy grail product!

Amp up your typical wing liner with a color!
Forget black eyeliner, have some fun and step up your eyeliner game with a fun color!
I love a classic eyeliner look, but sometimes I just want to have fun with my look.
Amp up your typical eyeliner by using a fun color! For this look I used a red eyeliner, but you can totally use a eye safe lipstick, or even eyeshadow.
FENTY BEAUTY - Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner
This is one of my newer favorite eyeliners. It comes in so many colors! Itās a twist up mechanical pencil. I wish it was just a tiny bit more precise, but it was manageable.

WARM eyeshadow look šš„
In the summer I tend to gravitate towards warmer eyeshadow colors. I think it looks good with a nice tan.
I go for a fairy simple eye look, as in I donāt really ever use eyeliner anymore.
I like to start out with a neutral crease color (bold) from my go-to pallete right now tarte - Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette
Next I use Kosas - 10-Second Eyeshadow since itās liquid (but it dries to a matte). These are very easy to blend and it sets a good base for the rest of the makeup.
I added in some darker neutrals in the crease and corner to complete te a better blend (innocent, edgyāvery little amount used).
I then top with a shimmer to make it more bold. I used the color ethereal.
My holy grail eyelash products to finish up the look.

SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler
This duo is SO SO good. The mascara has to wand tips so it accentuates length as well as volume all in one mascara. The curler is very nice as well, I usually āpumpā and do 10 curls per eyelash.

šWanna get a cool slit eyebrow like this? Just 7 Steps!
Girls with slit eyebrow is soooooo cool! Today I'm gonna teach you how to get a perfect slit eyebrow.
Step 1: Tweeze eyebrows and then trim eyebrows with an eyebrow razor.
Step 2:-Draw vertical lines on your eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil.
Step 3: Place of tape parallel to the line for slit eyebrow.
Step 4: Shave in between the two pieces of tape.
Step 5: Remove the tape for slit eyebrow.
Step 6: Repeat this step on other parts of your eyebrows (If you desired).
Step 7: Use an eyebrow pencil to outline and use eyebrow powder to fill.
The eyelash tool we all need!
Some people get super intimidated by eyelash curlers but they make such a hide difference for me!
I have fairly long lashes, but theyāre pretty straight so having the curler helps lengthen them up so theyāre more visible which opens up my eye as well.
The SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler is a cult fave for a reason. It works. I use a pumping method. So usually I āpumpā the lashes for 10ish times (per eye) then apply a coat or two of mascara right after.
The first photo is a before/after.
On the left side of both photos is the side that the curler was used.
The second photo was before mascara (curler used on the left) and the third photo is with mascara.
You can tell the lashes are longer but it is really just because the curler makes them stand up more.
Again my favorite mascara ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara makes a huge difference too! It has two different sides, one for length, one for volume. This mascara has it all!
