Wash your face!!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a photo of my skin care journey. I know my skin isn’t perfect and it is not porcelain, but if you can see the difference from what it was before to now, I’d say it looks pretty good. The first image was a photo from June of this year, and obviously the second one is from now, literally it’s my face when I woke up this morning. I have been consistent with my regime, oil wash, water based cleanser wash, thermal spray, hyaluronjc acid, snail serum, a chemical exfoliator at night and then either an oil or a mask. So far my face has built tolerance to the acids as well which makes it easier for me to apply any acids on my face without burning it every time like before. Start low and do it only once a week, and as your face build tolerance, you can increase it to twice a week so on and so forth. Be consistent friends! Keep doing what ur doing! It will pay off in the long run!! My face has never felt so healthy like it does now! And its only going to get better from here!
My new favorite Vit C serum!!! Hooly grail of all!! The first few days after applying this with my morning routine, I noticed more skin brightness and smoothness. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks straight now, and I’ve also noticed that my pimples dont last as long. I am thinking this is probably another add on to my routine from now on to replace my previous Vit C serum. I also work as a nurse which requires mask wear all day, this has also prevented more breakouts for my maskne so far!! I cant wait to see more results!? Anyone else use this product? Let me know what u think!!

Shooo away dandruff!!
Now I’m sure everyone has seen this product being used for fungal acne. Let’s just turn the table around and talk about hair. A year and a half ago, I had my hair dyed from a salon and my hair and scalp were damaged from the chemicals the hairstylist was using. I was wanting a lighter reddish brown tone for my hair so I’m guessing she had to bleach it to get to the desired color. Apparently, she over did it and burned my scalp and hair. As a result, my hair became super dry, to the point where I could not even comb it after shower after tons and tons of conditioning. On top of that, I had seborrheic dermatitis. I had to go see another hairstylist and get my hair treated. My hair was less dry but the dandruff stayed for months. I used many different kinds of dandruff shampoo and this product is the only thing that works! Ever since My scalp is very prone to dandruff due to my seborrheic dermatitis, so I use this when I have flare ups. I wash my hair with this shampoo twice a week, until my dandruff clears out and then once week just to make sure the fungal from the dandruff is gone. Now this shampoo can make your hair and scalp very dry so I would be cautious in using it and to follow the directions on the box. This is my holy grail for my dandruff. I would never use anything else. With all the frustrations and shame I had to go through with this condition, I am thankful that this product eases my stress. I encourage you to try this shampoo (if you haven’t yet) if you have dandruff issues...
Nizoral-Anti Dandruff Shampoo
I love love my la roche posay tinted mineral sunscreen!! It’s the only thing that doesnt irritate my skin and eyes throughout the day after applying layers and layers of sunscreen. Now since I use this quite often, I’ve been trying to find a dupe that has similar ingredients, but cheaper price!! And now I am happy to announce that I have found the exact the same sunscreen product that contains the exact ingredients and feel to my face but half the price! The Ombrelle tinted mineral sunscreen’s tinted color is a slight different from the La Roche Posay, but because of the price and feel to my skin, it’s not a big deal!! I still use my LPR sunscreen only on special occasions and my GARNIER - Mineral Sunscreen Tinted Lotion tinted sunscreen every single day! LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 If you’ve got sensitive skin, this is a must try.

The result to an effective skin care routine!
A year ago, I started being lazy and was not following my skin care routine. To give a little background about me, I’m a nurse who does shift work, so on days where I come off from a night shift, I would shower and only rinsed my face with water without using a cleanser. I then would apply my night cream and go to sleep. Fast forward, I started developing this tiny little bumps all over my face, occasional break out, hyperpigmentation and uneven texture. I would exfoliate at times but became inconsistent with it so It didn’t really clear up my skin. Back in March of this year, I became more frustrated as it was taking longer for me to clear up my skin and these tiny little bumps kept coming back (no they were not fungal acne as they were bigger in size and reddened)so I decided to change up my skin care products and made up a routine similar to the ones I see on my social media platform. SKIN TYPE Normal- Dry Combination Skin, Sensitive Morning Routine - Gentle Cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin - Vit C pura d'or - 20% Vitamin C Serum - Niacinamide The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - HA depending on my mood. I use different kinds . HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion or COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence - Moisturizer if I feel like my face needs extra hydration otherwise I would skip this part CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin or LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Balm AP + Body Cream - SUNSCREEN!! LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 or LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30 NIGHT ROUTINE - Double Cleanse heimish - Heimish All Clean Balm or The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser followed by CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin - Toner COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner or PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator - If I am not using any of the toners mentioned above, then I would use this The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA On the nights I use retinol, I don’t use any chemical exfoliants at all PAULA'S CHOICE - Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment, 30ml - Moisturizer CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin -Facial Oil The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane or DERMA•E - Rejuvenating Sage & Lavender Face Oil This was my routine for 4 months. And now of course I’ve changed up few things in my routine. All of these products helped cleared up my skin issues. As you can see, my face is looking much better!!
The Ordinary-100% Plant-Derived Squalane
I recently purchased this 3 weeks ago. I had seen many skin care influencers rave about this product so I instantly ordered it when it came into stock!! I love my rice toner so I really wanted to try this rice mask! This is the last product I apply on my face to seal all the products I had put on during my night time routine. Only a pea size amount for my whole face. It’s a cream like texture so It gives that instant plump. The next morning my face was super soft and hydrated like it’s been soaked in a tub of milk! I swear if my face could talk she’ll be like “Thank you!! Thank you for feeding me! I feel super healthy”!😂 I highly recommend this for people who has dry skin. Sometimes I only use toner and this rice mask when I’m feeling lazy. Try it! It’s affordable! You’ll thank me later!!COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask
