Did you know the most effective anti-aging product you can

Did you know the most effective anti-aging product you can use is just your regular old sunscreen? Forget the $200 creams, protect your skin from harmful UVA/UVB damage and you will have a youthful glow for life 😍 I’ve been using and loving 2 facial sunscreens lately: Josie Maran cosmetics Argan Daily Moisturizer with SPF 47 is a lightweight tinted moisturizer. This one wears so beautifully under makeup, but most of the time I just wear it alone! Because of the subtle tint, I find it provides just enough coverage on days where I want a more natural look. I really love wearing it to the gym for that exact reason! Throughout the day I don’t notice this breaking up my makeup (if I do wear makeup overtop) & doesn’t make my face look greasy Juice beauty SPF 30 Oil-free Moisturizer has been my go-to for the past 2 weeks. I didn’t expect much from it since it’s not one of the more talked about sunscreens, but boy do I love this one. It’s not tinted, and I would say this wears even more beautifully than the Josie maran one. While I love both, I would say this one I prefer to wear under makeup, while the Josie one I prefer to wear on its own when I’m looking for a more natural skin day.

Melanie_W22Unrelated but is that bag with the palm print...or a dress?!? That is gorgeous. Love the staging of your pic.

Supergoop! Defense Refresh Set
Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist that I got. 🌟 I took this with me on my overnight trip and it was really quick & easy to use. I was a little wary of the spray form because I had a feeling it would come out a bit stronger than other mists I use. 🧳 It did spritz our firmly but evenly. It does have a bit of minty fragrance which I wasn’t expecting. It wasn’t unpleasant though. 😊 Overall, I like it but I think I prefer a cream sunscreen. This mist, however, is ideal for traveling & for reapplication when I’m outside for extended periods of time on the weekend. 👍🏾

It’s review time: Coola daydre
It’s review time: Coola daydream mineral primer. Coola is a brand that hasn’t been on my radar for long. I think they’re pretty new on the German market. The brand focuses on sunscreen 🧴. They have all kinds of different formulas with different actives: Sprays, powders, lotions. When I visited their website, the mineral primer caught my attention. Three days later, I found it at tk maxx (this actually happened! No wonder I love tk maxx so much!). I obviously bought it right away. Ingredients: The primer has SPF 30 and is broad spectrum, it uses zinc oxide and titanium oxide as a filter. (I don’t generally avoid chemical filters, but I do prefer mineral ones 😊) It also contains added plant stem cells. Plant Stemm cells supposedly have anti aging properties and add anti oxidant protection. It’s kinda hard to tell if that’s true or not though. No alcohol or fragrance, yay! Texture: It feels like a typical primer. Kinda siliconey, which I personally don’t mind. It leaves a slight white cast at first, it disappears after a minute though, so it’s really not an issue. It also makes your skin look a bit more even and fairly matte (but not too matte!) Thoughts: So far I haven’t used it instead of my regular sunscreen, but on top of it. It feels nice and I feel protected. It makes my skin look even and I didn’t have any adverse effects. Not sure if the plant stem cells do anything for my skin. And: I have to admit that I‘m not sure if I would pay the full price. It’s a nice sunscreen and it’s a nice primer, but I could get both for cheaper 🤔🙈 Still gonna check out other Coola products!

🌞THE PRODUCT🌞 The COOLA - Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30 is marketed as a an SPF spray that doubles as a makeup setting spray. It is great for on-the-go SPF reapplication, and for if your makeup needs to be refreshed. If you wear a lot of makeup and don’t want to mess it up by reapplying SPF, then this mist is perfect for you. The target concerns of this product are protection from UV damage, as it is a broad spectrum SPF 30, meaning that it protects from visible UVA rays and invisible UVB rays. It also has aloe, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate to deliver a boost of hydration. The texture of this is really hard to capture, but it is a liquid that sprays out as a fine mist. You can hardly see the mist in the video because it is very fine. It feels cooling and refreshing on the skin. 💦MY HONEST OPINION💦 I got this product back this summer in July because I really got into SPF this year. I wanted to try this out because I thought it would be a perfect supplement to my Coola sun silk drops that I was using as my daily face SPF! I haven’t used it as much since the beach days are over, but I loved it so much for reapplying SPF at the beach on Long Island. It is super lightweight and doesn’t make your skin feel gross like reapplying some SPFs can. My main issue with this product is the high alcohol content. It smells really intense, and if you breathe it in it kind of hurts your nose. Otherwise, I really like this product. It lasted me the entire summer and I still have a lot of this product left. I would for sure recommend this to people who spend a lot of time outside and need to reapply SPF constantly, but I only found it useful in the summer beach months. It is def not a necessity in my routine, just a nice addition. The cost of this product is $36 for 1.5 fl oz, and this feels super expensive for some reason. I guess that a product like this is probably hard to formulate, so I’m sure a lot of the cost is related to research and development. Also, I haven’t seen many SPF mists, so it is pretty unique. I’m not sure if it is worth the price, but it is definitely worth the time and effort because it is so quick and easy to use. I give this a 3/5 ⭐️ rating…it is very innovative and useful, but the scent of the alcohol bothers me and I don’t know if i’m sold on the price.

I bought this product in a 3 piece mini set to try out some of Supergoop’s products. I had heard great things about this brand and wanted to try them out! I have really been using this only when I’m going to be outdoors for long periods of time. I mist this over my face about every hour to help not get sunburned. So far it’s worked really great! It has a great smell as well, kinda fresh and minty. This is a great sun protection product overall! Supergoop! - Defense Refresh (Re)setting Mist SPF 40

Coola Make Up Setter
Coola Make Up Setter
This is a make up setter and sunscreen in one! I’m absolutely obsessed with this and love to travel with it. It definitely is thicker and you can spray a couple of layers for sun protection. It dries really nicely and is matte so it works well with a light layer of powder before hitting up the beach for the day. It is a little pricey and does definitely smell like sunscreen so I wouldn’t suggest it for daily use (unless you’re outside of course).
