My new GO TO scent
Obsessed with the latest addition to my fragrance collection 😍 the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt scent is so sultry yet classy and I can’t stop wearing it. Although pricey, his colognes last all day on my skin and are well worth the price tag. They’re so strong you only need about 1-2 sprays. There’s something about a luxurious perfume that makes me feel so good!

The BEST self tan
Bali body is actually the best self tanner of all time. Thank me later 😘 if you’ve ever wondered why I’m so perfectly tanned all the time, it’s because Bali body makes it so easy. The dark formula is my favourite but the ultra dark is super pretty for when you really need that DARKKK tan! Will def be using it next time I go on vacay. It stays for a good week before I scrub it off and start fresh again. I also love how natural the colour looks! It has olive undertones so it looks like a natural brown tan rather than orange!

I’d rather get coal than the Tula Face Cleanser
TULA SKINCARE - The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser Unpopular opinion: Tula isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Okay...to be fair I’ve only ever tried the cleanser. But I really don’t like it!!! To me, an effective cleanser is one that cleanses your skin without throwing the pH out of whack which will leave your skin feeling tight & dry. It’s so important to use cleansers that are a safe pH for your skin! You know you have achieved this when you don’t feel that tight stripped feeling across your face after cleansing. With the Tula cleanser, that’s exactly what happens to me. It’s not that it particularly causes any harm to my skin, but I feel like it isn’t benefiting it at all either. I just have tried so many other cleansers that I HIGHLY prefer over this one, and that provide other benefits such as skin clearing, hydrating & nourishing properties. For $28, I wouldn’t recommend going for this product, mainly just because I believe there are other ones on the market that do a much better job for the same price or even cheaper.

K-beauty: Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask
LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask Guys....I need to tell you about something I’ve been obsessed with recently! The Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask is the latest addition to their sleeping mask line. While their original sleeping mask isn’t my personal favourite due to the ingredient list, the Cica mask is hypoallergenic and has AMAZING ingredients. It has no silicones or fragrances which is really important to me. This mask is amazing for treating redness and dryness, as cica works to repair and reboost the skin barrier. It has such a thick and luxurious texture that I can’t get enough of and feels so soothing on my skin overnight. I have only used this for a week but I can tell my skin is loving it so far. I apply a thick layer at the end of my PM routine to provide the ultimate nourishment to my skin overnight. I notice in the morning my skin is insanely calm, way less red, and looks extremely plump and hydrated. I even tested one night where I used nothing but this mask and it was so soothing and refreshing to have such a simple routine. Not to mention it’s so easy to just apply one product before bed! I highly recommend this for anyone with dry skin, rosacea, or eczema as it is highly effective and the ingredients are safe for those skin conditions. The best part is the price...at $28 this 2oz tub is cheaper than almost every other sleeping mask on the market. The value is incredible! Please check this product out, I promise you won’t regret it!

Caudalie Oil Control Moisturizer
CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Oil Control Moisturizer This moisturizer from Caudalie has been an absolute dream to use over the past few months. Vinopure is mattifying yet hydrating while it traps oil & blackheads as well as addressing existing blemishes. It is formulated with noncomedogenic essential oils that provide antiseptic benefits to keep the skin calm, clear, and to control oil production. I reach for this moisturizer way more in the summer when my skin is at its oiliest, or if I know I have a really long day at work. I love it because it almost feels like I’m applying a filter on my skin that fills in my pores and smooths out the overall appearance of my skin. It works so well at controlling oil throughout the day and it also helps keep my skin clear. Especially if I already have a pimple, I notice this helps reduce the size throughout the day. This is definitely my go to moisturizer to wear on a day to day basis because I think it provides such a nice base that’s easy to wear all day. It also wears beautifully under makeup! At $39, I highly recommend this to anyone with normal to oily skin.

Saturday Skin Probiotic Sheet Mask
SATURDAY SKIN - Cotton Cloud Probiotic Power Mask This sheet mask is packed with probiotics and prebiotics for a potent boost in radiance and overall health of skin. The probiotics work to boost skin vitality, while the prebiotics activate the full power of the probiotics. Probiotics are really beneficial for the skin by creating a sort of protective shield that keeps bad organisms and bacteria out of your skin. Think of it as a shield on your skins surface that keeps the bad stuff out! They can target a number of skin concerns from acne, reduce inflammation & flare ups, and prevent premature aging. I have used a few of these masks over the last year and I really enjoy using them. I reach for the probiotic mask when I feel like my skin has been having a lot of weird issues such as congestion, inflammation, and overall dullness. Basically, when my skin feels out of whack I can count on this mask to bring my skin integrity back. Another benefit of this mask is that it fits my face very well. For me that’s a pretty important factor about a sheet mask because it really bothers me when they’re slipping and sliding all over your face because they’re too big. But this one fits perfect and seems to stay in one place! This sheet mask is a pretty average price around $6, and gives lovely results! I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a good refreshing way to rejuvenate the skin’s barrier.

I wanted to do a little highlight and review on one of my Herbivore Botanicals products! 🔹Lapis face oil contains blue tansy, hence the beautiful blue tone, which is high in Azulene which helps soothe irritated and dry skin. What I love is that it also helps reduce the look of redness and balances oily skin tones (shoutout to my oily friends 🙋🏼♀️). ✨Some key ingredients✨ ✨Kukui nut oil which has linoleum acid to help balance oily skin and combo skin. ✨Jojoba oil which replicates similarities to our skins own natural sebum - so it is easier to penetrate into our skin. ✨Squalane to protect and lock in moisture. 🔹Our skin contains sebum which is basically an oily substance made up of fatty acids and other natural chemicals produced by your sebaceous glands and its job is to protect and moisturize your skin. We call sebum our skins "oil" but other things contribute to this like our gross dead skin cells and sweat (I sweat so much ). Our skin can produce too much which leads to oily skin, or too little leading to dry skin. Adding an oil to your routine can help lock in the moisture. If you are overly oily, completely eliminating moisture and oils can actually be worse for your skin, causing it to overproduce more oil which leads to oilier skin and clogged pores. 🔹 The thing about oils and moisturizers is it is not necessarily adding moisture to the skin, it is more adding a protective layer to lock in the moisture. Your skin is a barrier and you need to protect it! 🔹This oil is great for all skin types, but especially oily & combo skin. Less is more for me with oils! I need honestly ONE drop of most oils and that is more than enough. I rub my hands together to get some friction and warm the oil, then I gently pat my skin (don't rub in) and let the oil sink in. I always always always end with oils because like I said before, they are made to lock in moisture from not getting out, so other products won't be able to penetrate them.
💦 Retinoids is basically a family that both retinol and Retin-A fall into. Retinoids are known to fight fine lines and wrinkles along with boosting our collagen. As we age, our skin cell turnover rate slows down, so retinoids help speed up that process. 💦 Our skin is only able to process retinoic acid, so retinol must first be converted into retinaldehyde and then into retinoic acid. This process takes times, and during this process irritation and redness can occur. Some alternative forms of retinol use hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) for they supposedly can work on retinoid receptors with less irritation, but there isn’t as much research released out on this specific process (Sunday Riley uses this along with the ordinary- not sure how I feel bout it) Then you have Retin-A (tretinoin- prescription only). It doesn’t need to convert into retinoic acid, so it works a lot faster but it is a lot stronger and can have harsh side affects. 💦 A-passioni by drunkelephant contains 1% retinol which is the highest you can get OTC. The reason I like this over other brands is because of the added ingredients. It contains a ton of antioxidants from winter cherry juice, marula oil & kale leaf extract, fatty acids from vitamin f,peptide blends and xanthophyll to help protect against blue light. I would start of once a week for a few weeks with this gem, and then work your way up to every other day if your skin can handle it. The main thing is staying consistent with whatever you choose and listening to your skin. 💦 To add hydration mix in a few pumps of b-hydra and/or Lala to help with any possible irritation 💫
DRUNK ELEPHANT-A-Passioni Retinol Cream
This baby just arrived and she is beautiful 💚 🌿 This has full-spectrum CBD which soothes the skin + adaptogen herbs including Ashwaganda, Shiitake Mushroom and Tumeric (love) to help the skin fight off stress. Full-spectrum means that it comes from the whole hemp plant which includes cannabinoids and terpenes to keep CBD performing at its best. 🌿 The difference between the CBD version and their original Emerald oil is that the original was Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, which contains basically no CBD. 🌿 It has a minty-like cannabis smell but not too strong, I actually realllly love it! It also is much greener than the original Emerald 💚 😍 Herbivore botanicals has my heart. Just HAD to share it with you guys because I’m so excited ✨
HERBIVORE-Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil
This is the much hyped peeling solution by the ordinary. This is a 30% AHA 2% BHA acid party. No joke guys this stuff is strong! It’s going to slough off dead skin cells, helps fine lines and wrinkles, help with sun damage and unclog those pores. And no, it doesn’t peel, even though it’s called peeling solution. It’s a bloody maroon color (best way to describe it) and it’s kinda terrifying, not gonna lie! BUT, honestly, this product works well IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED WITH ACIDS & CHEMICAL PEELS. If your skin is not familiar with acids, make sure to work up a tolerance. This remains on for 10 minutes, but I would recommend 5 minutes for the first time or two and then work your way up. You do this once a week or even longer until your skin is use to all those crazy acids In comparison to drunk elephant baby facial, the ordinary has a little less soothing properties and is 5% stronger in AHA. After trials with both of these for a few months, I do find my face to feel a little softer after the DE compared to the ordinary. However, I think that if you are not wanting to drop $80 bucks on baby facial (understandable) then this is a great alternative/dupe! Both use sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric & salicylic acid. Drunk elephant uses more hydrating and soothing properties like marula oil, passion fruit extract, pomegranate extract, pumpkin ferment extract, matcha, milk thistle, apple extract & more. ✨ Overall ✨ I will continue to use this every once in a while, but I find myself wanting to use baby facial instead. If you are in the search for a good alternative to DE baby facial, I would highly recommend this with some added oils and a creamy moisturizer to follow

Sand and Sky Pink Clay Mask - pore refining
Sand and Sky Pink Clay Mask It is time to now talk about one of my favorite face masks EVER! The Australian Pink Clay Mask by Sand and Sky is a mask you absolutely need! This has Australian Pink clay to help pull out the toxins clogging your pores, witch hazel and kelp to refine your pores and speed up the repair process, Mangosteen and Pomegranate to boost cell turnover and brighten, and Kakadu plum which is rich in Vitamin C. Y’all, this mask is a game changer. The color is an adorable light grey dark pink color. The jar also comes with a mask applicator brush which is way more hygienic than applying with your hands. This mask with help unclog your pores, and give you an amazinnnnng glow! The texture is also super smooth! No scent really either which I enjoy! Lastly, this has no sulfates, silicones, parabens, phthalates, PEG’s, gluten and is cruelty free! Application process: The reason I love this mask is because it is so easy and quick to use. Once you apply it, it turns from the pink clay color to a white color once fully dried, and you can see your pores too (ew but also so good). This mask takes 10 MINUTES, like come on. That is the perfect amount of time and honestly all the time I have for patience with some masks. This instantly brightens your skin and give you a slowly complexion. Let me also mention that rinsing this mask off is SO EASY! It is not chunky or sticky on the face, it melts off so easy and almost feels hydrating and I say almost because clay masks never are! I love just staring at my face after using this blown away by my results. This is hands down the best clay mask for all skin types. Those who are even sensitive could totally use this. I am extremely oily, so this has done absolute wonders for my routine. I would say if you are more oily, use this 2-3x a week, if you are more normal skin 1-2x is a good amount of times per week! Overall experience: This hands down is the best product for your pores. You cannot actually change your pore size, but you can use things to minimize the appearance. Keeping your pores clean is the first step. If you are looking for a product that has amazing results, quick, easy, brightening, pore minimizing, than this is definitely for you. This goes for $49.90, and lasts quite a bit because a little goes a long way!! I would recommend this to anyone it is that good!! I have been using this for 7 months and have no plans on stopping!SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask

Summer Fridays physical exfoliant
Hey guys the product I want to chat about Summer Fridays Overtime mask! This is a physical exfoliating mask that is used to help clarify your skin and polish away dead skin cells. This uses pumpkin extract (so the perfect scent for fall) and apricot seeds to exfoliate. This also is a great for brightening up the skin if you are suffering from dullness. The purpose of this mask it to leave you feeling balanced, brightened, and soft! The texture is a yellowish consistency with little beads for exfoliation, and honestly it reminds me so much of dijon mustard. Other than that it has a lovely scent and finish. It also comes in a tube which can sometimes push some of the product out, but I have’t had many problems with this exact product! My experience: I have been using this mask for probably 6 months and I love it! I got this a while back because I loved the brand, but now I use it because I love the product. Honestly, I am not a fan of physical exfoliants because I find that they can be a bit abrasive compared to chemical exfoliations, but this is an exception for me because it is so creamy and soft! Love this as a physcial exfoliator. Application is applying in a circular motion for 60 seconds and then leaving the product on for 10 minutes. Results are instant with a glow and overall my dark sports and dullness brightened up after a month or so of using about 1x a week! Although it is considered a mask, this is much more of an exfoliating scrub with the apricot seeds. Another awesome thing I love is that it is formulated without phthalates, surfactants, petrolatums, BHT, BHA, or silicones Overall thoughts: I would say that this product is definitely worth it. This is a great physical exfoliant option and I do not say that often. This mask goes for $44 which I find is pretty reasonable compared to its competitors. It is a simple application and quick and easy for brightening and exfoliation! So I would definitely recommend this as an exfoliating treatment. SUMMER FRIDAYS - Overtime Mask
