Loving Skywash 😍 except it’s WAY overpriced
Did you guys see my last post ! I talked about some cute spring shadows I’ve been loving 🥰 Glossier. - Skywash sheer matte lid tint I also absolutely love simple shadow that I can just blend out with my finger. It’s so effortless but makes your look 10x more playful! My ONLT qualm with Skywash is that I’m sure there’s not that much product. For $18 I wish this was bigger. You can tell how little product is in here right when you open it up 👎👎 honestly this should be $8-10. What spring colors are you into?

POV: you fell asleep during a facial...
And woke up like this 😂😂 You guys I tried laser resurfacing today! I couldn’t take any pics or vids of the actual laser because I had on goggles... plus it hurt so much I had to concentrate on not crying 😂 so this pic of me is during the cooling after care, a nice tea tree molding mask. What do you want to know about lasers! Post on it coming soon for Cherie!
Go CLEAN go GREEN - my fave face wash!
I love everything about this! The clean scent, the simple formula, and how cleansing and hydrating this is. Such a winner, and a staple. If you’re looking for a clean face wash this is it. It’s helped me with: - my dry skin - acne! - whiteheads I try to choose clean products when I can because I know the benefits are more than just skin deep, but world deep! Clean Beauty - love it or hate it?!
I started paying closer attention to the ingredients in my makeup and skincare about a year ago because it seemed to be such a topic of discussion in the beauty world. I would consider myself someone who likes to know and research things and that’s basically what happened when it came to clean beauty. Some companies use scare tactics to try and sell their clean & non-toxic products by telling you that the ingredients in their competitors products may cause cancer along with many other ailments and diseases. I for one do not like to be scared into anything, I would much prefer to educate myself on what's safe and what isn't and use products with ingredients that I can understand and recognize. You may not know this (I sure didn't) but there is very little government regulation when it comes to the cosmetic industry; the average woman uses up to 12 products per day containing more than 160 unique ingredients, many of which contain endocrine disrupters which can affect hormonal balance and fertility. We are exposed to so many chemicals each day that we have little to no control over - car exhaust, pesticides, plastics, and many more environmental factors. Cosmetics and personal care items are things that we can and should take control of; that doesn't necessarily mean that choosing something that is "organic" or "natural" is the answer though unfortunately. In order to choose safer products it means you have to find companies that are transparent with their ingredients and committed to the safety testing of their products (thankfully, there are more and more companies taking on this initiative). SO long story short, I love clean beauty - as long as the company is genuine and transparent in their ingredients, sourcing, and marketing. It’s become somewhat of a marketing tactic to slap a “clean” label on products lately just to make a sale and to me, that’s not what it’s about; it’s about brands genuinely caring about their consumers and wanting to be better for them. #CherieConversations

Farmacy Clean Bee Cleanser 🐝
The FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser is one of my favorite cleansers! Farmacy claims its is a gentle, soothing gel facial cleanser that removes make up while adding hydration. It is formulated for all skin types and addresses fullness and uneven texture. It also has the Clean at Sephora seal. Contains: Hyaluronic acid to add moisture into the skin Honey for soothing the skin, delivering antioxidants, and adding moisture A while back I was looking to switch my skincare routine over to one without so many harsh ingredients and this cleanser was one I leaned towards. The pump makes it very easy to use and as someone with oily skin I love the gel formula. I can’t attest to taking off make up completely because I do go in with a cleansing balm first but it does get off all the left over make up after that step. It does have a faint smell (and that’s my only real complaint about it. There is fragrance but it’s a wash off treatment so it’s not as bad as a leave on treatment for the skin. I still wish they’d formulate without it though) but I don’t mind it. I don’t feel like it strips my skin after use as it doesn’t feel tight or dry afterwards. I’m not sure for the hydration claims but I think it’s an effective, “clean” cleanser that doesn’t strip. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a “clean” alternative for a cleanser. I’ve experienced zero break outs or irritation with this product. #cherieconversations

Clean Skincare Tower
I have hormonal acne and sensitive skin so hydrating in winter can be TOUGH. The product that has helped me most is definitely this gorgeous mist from MotherDirt which contains live bacteria that help maintain a healthy biome on your skin. I personally just use this on my face because I don’t want to waste any on my body but if I’m ever irritated anywhere, it works like a charm. I’ve seen HUGE decreases in my acne size, frequency and breakouts generally and I give credit to this mist and using clean products. Clean Face Oil
This is the Leah Rose + Glow Facial Oil 🌹 I have combo skin that is very acne prone and sensitive. I’ve been using this for a few months now and have noticed SIGNIFICANT changes in my skin including a decrease in breakouts and a decrease in acne scars. This is a CLEAN oil and is free of all nasties. Some of my favorite ingredients include squalane and a stable form of Vitamin C. I think clean products are important for people with skin like mine because skincare is healthcare. You wouldn’t drink water if it was filled with chemicals right? Or alcohol? Exactly. This is why it’s important for ingredient lists to be clean. Our skin absorbs these ingredients and it becomes part of us even if for a bit. I only want the stuff in there that is going to be good for me, even if it means the product has a shorter shelf life. LEAH - ROSE+GLOW FACIAL OIL What are your thoughts on clean ingredients?

Alpyn Melt Moisturizer💕🌲
#alpynbeautygiftedme their PlantGenius Melt Moisturizer 🌱 It is thick with a light pink color that is meant to hydrate and brighten skin! I have combo skin that is sensitive and acne prone. Ok so this has a LOT going on ingredient wise. It’s almost like a do-it-all moment. I’m talking Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Bakuchiol, Squalane, you name it. I love the crisp light scent of this and find it to be a light moisturizer. It didn’t make me sticky or oily at all. This did pile a bit for me when applied more heavily so that’s something to be on the lookout for but it wasn’t bad by any means. I also get a little tingly from this and red so maybe more of a night product for me but I like the idea of a multitasker product in the sense that it can remove steps from a routine which I do day and night and save time. I think this brand is definitely one to keep an eye on🌲 Swipe for goodness💕 Have you tried them yet? Four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️alpyn beauty - PlantGenius Melt Moisturizer

Empty! Youth to the People Adaptogen mist! 😌
I know we’re in 2020 but this product was definitely my favorite of 2019 and I need more this year. My skin is d-ry! The ingredients for this mist blew me away when I read through them such as hyuralonic acid, holy basil, aloe leaf juice, and lactic acid. *chef kiss* The star ingredients to me are ashwagandha, reishi, and rhodiola. (Side note: I take ashwagandha supplements for stress and anxiety) so Ashwagandha is amazing btw. The adaptogen mist is great for moisturizing the skin, calming the skin, and refreshing the skin. You can use this mist in your morning and night skincare routine. I use it in both of mine. The YTTP website suggests 3-6 sprays three times a day. I do 3-4 sprays in my morning routine and 3-4 sprays in my night routine. The way the mist feels on my skin after I wash my face is rejuvenating especially since my skin is dry. It’s very light and has no fragrance. I feel like a misted lil baby plant when I use it. I love it so much and I need a new bottle right now. I’m in tears as I type this.
