Sailor Moon x Colourpop
There’s something so enchanting about pastel colors; they’re soft and whimsical. The softness of the color, however, can sometimes make pastel shadows nearly impossible to see. Palettes that focus on pastels can either fall flat or they can be stunning. Colourpop’s palette collaboration with Sailor Moon, the Pretty Guardian, is an example of a pastel palette done right! The colors show up on a range of skintones - fair to deep. The color story is perfect for the upcoming spring and summer! I’ve already created gorgeous soft, colorful looks with this palette. Colourpop created a palette that immediately inspires creativity upon opening it! I am looking forward to 🥰

Kathleen killed it again!
I love a good colourpop shadow, and they’re even better when it’s a collab with my fave Beauty Guru, kathleenlights! The price point is amazing, ya can’t beat that. The palette is the perfect size for travel, has just the right amount of shades, and has a lot of variety. As you can see, I do reach for it pretty often and it’s clearly a little worn down! A super pretty palette great for a look every day, no matter what you’re doing. COLOURPOP - Dream St. Kathleen Lights Eyeshadow Palette

Cream vs. powder eyeshadow
Eyeshadow can be such a fun part of a makeup routine. Whether it is cream or powder, eyeshadow can enhance the eyes in a simple way. Let’s delve into two formulas I have in my collections: Personally, I love the versatility of cream eyeshadows. Will it be an eyeshadow, eyeshadow primer, base, eyeliner, etc.c today? Who knows? The Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment in Silent Disco is relatively beginner friendly. What it does?: On Milk’s website, the eye pigments come in 8 different colors available for purchase. (Only 5 are on Sephora.com.) The pigments are meant to be long-wearing, crease-free, oil-free, cruelty-free and a whole lot of other things free. Use with an angled brush for a colorful winged eyeliner look. There I was digging through the beauty section of one of my local T.J. Maxx and I saw the Milk MAKEUP - Eye Pigment in Silent Disco. Described as a deep brown base with copper and gold shimmers, it is actually more unique than it sounds. To me, the base almost looks black which is why I compared it to the black in the REVOLUTION - Soph x Ultra 24 Eyeshadow Palette palette with both COLOURPOP - Pressed Powder Shadow used on top of that to create a similar look. MY EXPERIENCE: This pigment is so pretty and acts as a great all-over lid shade of you are having a lazy makeup day. The $5.99 price tag (0.34 fl. oz./10 mL) makes me love it more. (It is originally $24.) My eyelids are slightly darker and oily, but this covers the discoloration and shows true to color. The oils from my eyelids don’t break this pigment down easily. ••• If you ever want to dupe another shadow, then COLOURPOP - Pressed Powder Shadow and REVOLUTION - Soph x Ultra 24 Eyeshadow Palette are the way to go. Like I said the Milk pigment was such a unique color that CP just didn’t have. (Or at the very least, wasn’t in my collection.) I do think the this combo gets pretty close. Recommend? I recommend both. Milk for the product, but not the $24 price tag and CP/MR for the price tag, but not for the specific color.

Put on your Game Face
About Super Shock Shadows: “This revolutionary crème-powder eyeshadow, famous for its unique bouncy texture, delivers bold colour & fine glitter in one swipe without creasing, fading or fallout.” COLOURPOP - Super shock shadow in Game Face is a warm-toned, dark copper with a metallic finish. It used to be a part of the permanent collection, but it doesn’t look like it anymore. I did a few of my family members makeup during a wedding and this was huge hit. (I had a few cousins calling me to see what the shade was. I recommended the Moonwalk, aduochrome rust orange and yellow.) Game Face is a good eyeshadow base, allover lid shade or topper. Fingers or brush: Both Recommended? Yes. I hope they bring it back. Dead or alive: ❌ 💀 Specs: 0.07 oz. for $6

This palette is excellent, it’s basic and you can do a lot of make ups with this one. It’s easy to carry, also small. I recommend this to anyone who loves make up but are basic though. I love the pigmentation, this one is REALLY good!!
