Getting rid of black heads through oil cleansing
A Famous esthetician on YouTube recently shared her way to get rid of black heads. Basically she just cleansed first with a balm for one minute then she cleansed with an oil for an extensive amount of time about 15 ish minutes or longer. And this grew very popular because after people would do it you could see all their blackheads sabaceous filliments on their hands and it’s very satisfying. So I decided to try it out... I don’t really have a lot of blackhead I get more white heads and just bumps. So I wasn’t expecting much. But after I did it I could see a BUNCH of little black things on my fingers! Not only that but my skin was so smooth after! Its not something I think I will be doing regularly cause I think there are better options for exfoliation. But it definitely works and is worth a try!
GOOD MOLECULES-Instant Cleansing Balm
The secret to baby soft skin?
I'm from - Mugwort Essence I got this product because mugwort is known for its calming and anti bacterial properties and I have been having a lot of redness lately. It did help with calming down redness and inflammation. But I was even more impressed about How soft it made my skin!! My skin has never felt this soft before! It took me a couple days too really see a difference but this stuff REALLY works just for plumping and hydrating the skin. Definently reccomemd👍🏼

My fav brightening products!✨
GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner If your looking for an affordable brightening and effective toner look no more. This toner is really good for those with oily skin who are also looking to brighten their skin. It has a very light texture but it’s still moisturizing and is very gentle so it can be used morning and night which also makes it super easy to incorporate into your routine. Not only is the texture like perfect but the ingredients and the results are amazing as well. The main ingredient is niacinimide which is great for evening skin tone and skin texture and also for serum control. it also has so many good ingredients for brightening including vitiman c and licorice root extract. It’s just such a good toner for every skin type and is super affordable at 15$. GOOD MOLECULES - Discoloration Correcting Serum This serum is from the same brand as the toner. And it’s also good for oily skin types because it’s very light while still being moisturizing. It is like pretty ok on its own but I found that it worked literal miracles with the toner. I like to use it more as a spot treatment cause I found it was more effective that way. But it also can be used as a normal serum. This contains tauzeramic acid. Which is found to be one of the best brightening ingredients even better then vitiman c. It also contains niacinimide and hylaronic acid. This is pretty good serum for a good price of 7$. Krave - The Beet Shield I mentioned this in a previous post. But I just wanted to mention it agian because it’s that good. One of the most crucial parts of evening out your complexion in my opinion is sunscreen. I really like this sunscreen because it’s super light weight and gives me almost a glow every time I use it. It also contains a lot of beneficial ingredient like vitiman c and ECGC which are good for brightening and anti aging. The mask is one of my favorite clay mask because it cleans my pores while also brightening. So it’s my favorite when I want to multitask. It also does this thing once it’s dry where you can see all your clogged pores and it’s really satisfying. Haha not that it increases the effectiveness it’s just cool I guess😂

Literally feels like a cloud
This is literally the PERFECT WHIP🤩 the texture is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Like the best way to describe is like a really thick whipped cream. And it just goes on the skin so nicely and almost feels like I’m putting a moisturizer on my face. I did not see any HUGE changes in my skin but it’s a good basic and cheap cleanser. I personally have oily skin and this worked just fine in the winter but in the summer I would much prefer a gel or jelly cleanser. This I think would work great for dry skin all year round👍🏼😉 And the best thing about it is that it’s super cheap and I got a 2-pack on amazon for about 20 dollars. So definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a good cheap cleanser! Sorry i couldn’t find the tag/link thing for this product😬
My thoughts on this......
So I actually got this about 8 months ago (before it got super famous on tiktok) and I actually really disliked it at first. Cause when I used it the first couple times i used it at a time when my skin was pretty sensitive and it made my face all red and unhealthy looking. And I was like I’m never using this again. Ya so basically I’m really dumb😂 BUT I started using it recently for the past month or so and I’ve been really enjoying it! Just like when my pores feel really congested or I feel really oily this really helps to unclog them and it gives me a not a “squeaky clean” feeling but it makes me feel fresh if that makes sense😅. I haven’t seen any very dramatic changes in the appearance of my skin but it does help. Plus I think with this product it’s something that u have to use consistently to see really good life changing results. I do have to say tho my sister who has recently been struggling with acne and acne scarring this I have noticed has really been helping her with that. I can just see that her skin looks brighter and she has been getting less breakouts😊 Let’s get to how to use this: I use this 1 time a week because it’s VERY strong and I leave it on for 10mins max. I do not recommend this if you have very sensitive, cracked or dry skin. as I said before this is a VERY strong chemical exfoliant so if you have not used chemical exfoliants before I DEFINITELY do not encourage you to use this. Just know just cause something is trending or has helped other people it does not always mean it will work for you cause everyone has different skin. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

New brand discovery
Was I living under a rock! Like why did no one tell me about glow recipe! I have no idea how I did not know what glow recipe was. To be fair I have not personally tried any of these products but it is one I’m super excited to test out. Their packaging is like a work of art😍 and their ingredient lists are so good. And all of their products claim to be safe for acne prone skin....but we will see about that. The only thing that I’m worried about is that most of these products have fragrance in them and my skin is semi sensitive so Ill see how my skin reacts. But the good thing is is that it’s the very last ingredient on all the products ingredient list👍🏼. Side note, I’m especially excited to try their new pore refining toner GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Tonerwhich just launched yesterday!😁 GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Brightening Serum GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine MistGLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture CreamGLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer

Review of the new CeraVe smoothing cleanser. The new formula is targeted at dry, rough and bumpy skin- it aims to gently cleanse and exfoliate without disrupting the skins protective barrier. This can be used on the face and body and especially good at treating Keratosis Piliaris (those pesky bumps on the arms) so I've been keeping mine in the shower and use it on my face and body in the mornings. The ingredient lists boast three essential ceramides, niacinimide, Glycerin, salicylic acid, hyalaronic acid and one I was surprised about was Gluconolacctone, a polyhydroxy acid or (PHA) which is higher on the ingredient list than its namesake salicylic acid (BHA). PHAs offer less irritation than their acidic counterparts and are humectants, meaning they attract water so they are great at keeping the skin supple and moisturised. So here's my thoughts: I've been using this for three weeks and can see an improvement in texture, my skin feels baby soft after using this and It left my skin squeaky clean without feeling tight and irritated. It would suit all skin types due to its gentle formula, I have dry skin and it hasn't left me feeling stripped it's actually provided me with some much needed moisture. It's been mild enough for me to use before my retinol on occasions, I had no irritations or reactions doing this, I know you're not suppose to mix acids with retinols but I think the added PHAs, ceramides and HA really help to cushion the salicylic acid. I wouldn't say this is great for removing make-up and daily grime as it's feels too mild, I would use this as a second cleanse in that case. But I've found it perfect as a morning cleanse in the shower. All in all an affordable gentle cleanser with some impressive ingredients that I would continue to use as a gentle cleanse. If you're on the lookout for a gentle exfoliating cleanser then this is the one 🙌🏽

A Reminder - It’s Okay to Have Acne 💕
This morning I woke up at 5:30 AM, normally to exercise and get the day started. But, I just couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed until the very last minute, so I didn’t exercise. But, that’s okay. Some days are like that, you know? I wasn’t feeling too peppy and when I got out of my shower I noticed about three or four new pimples on my face (great 🙄) and all I thought was about how awful my skin looked because of it. Obviously I was putting myself down over some new zits, but why? Not feeling up to exercising happens. Forgetting to charge my phone happens. Waking up with zits happens. Anyway, while I stood there just throwing myself down I heard a bit of movement and looked over and saw my sweet pup just staring at me like she always does with those beautiful brown eyes. So I kneeled down and pet her. She saw no difference in me. A bit later, my husband woke up and gave me a kiss and told me I’m beautiful. To which all I could think was “How? How could I be beautiful with a face like this? Full of zits!” It wasn’t until my husband started to feel insecure about his zits this morning that it finally dawned on me; It’s okay to have acne. I told my husband that he’s the most handsome man ever to me, no matter if he has acne or not. Because when I look at him, I don’t see the acne. Then I realized again; when I look at other people, I don’t acknowledge their acne, I just see the person. Their acne isn’t the first thing I notice, its not what bases my judgment of them, their character, their personality, their kindness, how they treat others, that’s what I judge for. So if when I look at other people, I don’t notice their acne, do they notice mine? Do they see me the same way I see myself? Of course not! They see me differently than I see myself. They likely don’t see the acne, large pores, dark spots, eye bags, etc., they see me. In the end, all the time I spent putting myself down for my acne was unjustifiable; because I don’t need to be perfect, there is no “perfect”, because perfect is subjective. To my husband I am perfect, though to myself I am not, and that is enough. It’s okay to have acne. It doesn’t matter what race you are, what weight or height you are, how big or small your chest / butt is, whether you have acne on your face or on your ass, none of that matters; what really matters is what kind of person you are. For you, my friend, who is also struggling with acne; it’s okay to have acne. You don’t need to match any beauty norm. You are perfect the way that you are, the way that you look. You may not see it, but remember that a mirror may show your reflection but its still a different view from what you see. So while we all look for our perfect clear skin routine but still have “bad skin days”, remember: It’s okay to have acne. It does not make you any less beautiful / handsome. 💕
How to treat acne with combo skin ! 👏🏻
Hey everyone, I wanted to share products that have really helped my acne, as I have combo/oily skin. It's also important to keep in mind how often to use products, because using it not enough could mean mild or missed benefits, or too much can result in harm to the skin like increased oil production or damage to the skin barrier (chemical exfoliants do this). Anyway, here they are :) I hope they help people out! Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector - it's a chemical exfoliant and I use it every other day or every three days, since it can dry out the skin or create more acne when used too often. It's really good for drying out pimples, but can sometimes cause dehydration. I use two pumps on my face and it's good to use a very good moisturizer (like the Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich) so the skin can have moisture back. You don't have to worry about the pores being clogged up by the moisturizer if you let the Solution dry on your face and if you let your skin heal for a minute. This way the moisturizer doesn't just sit into any open pores or open pimple wounds. Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum - I love this serum and it's definitely my favorite of the Glossier Supers!! I love how it doesn't get clumpy, is easy to apply, and is in a well-designed bottle. It's a niacinimide and zinc serum that targets oil, acne, and uneven skintone. I use this when I have acne all over, but not when I need the Solution to basically get everything out at once. It's a gentler way to dry out acne and get rid of oil than the Solution, plus my acne and uneven skintone have definitely gotten better from this. Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Balance - I use this on my t zone because it keeps my t zone hydrated without causing excess oil production. I find that it hydrates my skin enough because it doesn't just sit on top of the skin like some moisturizers do. This one immediately soaks in and has a consistency like a thinner Milky Jelly cleanser. Clearasil - Daily Clear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream - I use this when I have a stubborn pimple or a few, but I use it on the days I don't use the Glossier Solution for any acne I have. It's 10% benzol peroxide and it really dries up pimples as a spot treatment. It can be used on blackheads too to get them to form a 'head' as well. It's really good for those stubborn pimples that won't go away and it works the best on whiteheads and pustules. It's available in tinted and clear, but I recommend using the clear one since it's best in a nighttime skin routine so it can do it's magic. Thanks for reading!! Hope this helps anyone on their skincare journey! :) 💕✨ Also the bullet point formatting is difficult to fix and I hope that the bullet point feature can be fixed in this app because it gets annoying when you delete one bullet and then they all get messed up. 🤷🏼♀️ Clearasil photo credit: Walmart.com

Just the right blush ☺️
🌹 If you are in search for the right blush, Milani have various shades for people with different skin tone. I’m in love with my blush, because it is buildable and the shade fits me perfectly. A little bit goes on the way, even when you put on a lot of blush, this does not cake up your face. If you feel like there is too much blush your face, an easy fix would use a damp beauty blender and pat it softly onto the face. 🌹The one that is on my face is Tea Rose (08). This color fits me very well, and I love how natural it is. I love how esthetically pleasing the blush looks. It coasts on smooth, the shading is so lovely, it remains on, it's an incredible worth and to top it every last bit of it is CRUELTY-FREE. 🌹The instance of the become flushed is incredibly beautiful. I typically like to add blush on my nose to add extra color to my face. There are times where I mixed my blush and a bronzer together and it really add a nice color to the eyes. Bringing out the innocence look. MILANI - Rose Powder Blush

These are the products I’ve been using consistently every day to help maintain a sense of routine while working from home. This makeup look takes me ten minutes or less and helps me look put together on all my video calls! Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 I can’t recommend this enough as a base that evens out redness while providing SPF and looking like nothing is there. This + concealer on my active breakouts gives me all the coverage I need. Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer Okay I LOVE this concealer. It covers my acne + scars and blends like a dream. This does crease pretty badly under my eyes if I don’t remember to set it, though. Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder Sets the Dr. Jart cream + my concealer and keeps them there all day. I couldn’t make this powder look cakey if I tried, which is why I plan to repurchase forever. Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Makes me look alive and awake. While I love the idea of being able to just swipe this directly on my cheeks and blend with my fingers like I’m some French model, I find that applying with a blush brush gives me more of the look I’m going for. Kosas - Port LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm Keeps my lips super hydrated, thanks to the hyaluronic acid, and gives them a wash of color that instantly makes me look more put together. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Nothing to complain about here! This mini has been lasting forever, and it’s the perfect everyday mascara for me. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel Pre-plague, I would fill in my brows every day with a pomade and then use this on top to fluff up my brows. Since I started working from home I’ve just been using this gel on its own and I’m loving it!
