Improvements! Looking for feedback
So if you look at my previous post, my skin is combination and the products I was using were drying out my skin. I took some of the advice to use the niacimide 10% serum and I think that’s helped out a lot! I have been using frozen pieces of aloe Vera, cotton pads soaked in lemon and water and then the oils that are tagged in this post. The only thing I am still annoyed with is the black heads that I can’t seem to get rid of, and the size of my pores in my t zone. Any advice? Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum

Blyssey_EstheticianHi! :) Right off the bat, I can see your skin is dehydrated. I recommend increasing water intake and using some hyaluronic acid. You won’t be able to make pores smaller since skin type are based on genetics, but keeping them clean by using a salicylic acid product twice a week will help with that and remove your blackheads. :)

Just a dab will do ya!CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide Love Cerve products but this one definitely leaves a cast. Forbid you apply too much you will look absolutely Geisha. Certain I'm well protected, so I save this for a beach or hike day.elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 Goes so smooth and actually feels moisturizing. I love that it has niacinamide and its legion of skin benefits. ANDALOU NATURALS - Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask I'm a self proclaimed maskaholic; and, this is one of my favorites. Tingles for a few seconds upon application. Reminds me of chemical peels I've had done with a facial. timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum Don't leave the house without this and my sunscreen. Said to boost effectiveness of sunscreen and contains antioxidants, anti-aging and improve hyperpigmentation. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Super plumping. The Ultimate Anti-Pollution Routine
Air pollution isn’t just bad for your lungs but also for your skin. Because air pollution particles are so small, they can get stuck in our pores and cause all sorts of problems, like acne, skin sensitivity, dark spots, dehydrated skin, dull/uneven skin, and even premature wrinkles! Here is how I incorporate anti-pollution skincare into my routine: Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Every. Single. Day. You’ve heard it many times before, but SPF really is one of the most important skincare products you can use. It delivers sun protection and fights against pollution-generated free radicals, which can damage our skin’s DNA and accelerate the aging process! My favorite high-SPF sunscreens are theSupergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ and theelta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 , both of which feel hydrating but not heavy on the skin. Add antioxidants to your routine. Antioxidants are another way to reduce the damage caused by free radicals and combat visible signs of aging. Popular antioxidant ingredients include vitamin C, retinol (vitamin A), niacinamide, and vitamin E. If you’re worried about irritating your skin, you can start with a less concentrated vitamin C serum, like the dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop , which you can use in the morning (as long as you follow it with SPF). If you prefer to use vitamin C at night, try thePAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster , which has a higher concentration of vitamin C to protect your skin. For sensitive skin, I would recommend niacinamide, a widely tolerated antioxidant, like the Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum or The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% If you have dry skin, try rosehip seed oil: It has vitamin C, A, and E and locks in moisture. My favorite is The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil Make sure you’re effectively cleansing your skin. Of course, the best way to stop pollution from affecting your skin is to make sure you remove it from your face every day. Try double cleansing (using a cleansing oil first and then a water-based cleanser after) to gently but thoroughly cleanse your skin of any dirt and pollution that have built up on your skin throughout the day. If you’re new to double cleansing, I recommend trying a cleansing balm, like the FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm . It’s less messy than a liquid oil, and it’s really satisfying to see how the balm turns into an oil to remove makeup, sunscreen, dirt, and who knows what else from your face. Then follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser, like the Cerave Foaming Facial CleanserVANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser Do you use anti-pollution skincare products? What do you want to try next?
My skin care routine for GLOWY Skin - inexpensiv
Most products are super inexpensive! Neutrogena - Fragrance Free Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes These are the best makeup remover wipes in my opinion. They are moisturized just enough and helps me get rid of stubborn mascara. Others I’ve used aren’t wet enough like these. Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub This has always been my holy grail, my go-to .. I don’t think I will use anything else for right now. It really cleanses my face and gets all the dirt/makeup off. I love witch hazel - it evenly tones out your skin tone and helps you keep a youthful look. I also just like that extra clean feel when using it. These are my top two - DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Mist I switch off from different moisturizers but I’ve been using Cetaphil for years. I also use a vitamin E Oil and or cream/ doesn’t really matter what brand for me as long as it’s 100% vitamin E oil/cream. Also Vitamin E oil helps you get mimimize dark marks/scars , helps with eczema, if you’re itching - this is perfect, and prevents fine lines and wrinkles. Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream AS I AM - Vitamin E Oil
Recipe for a gentle acne cream!! 🥺👉👈
If you have really dry skin and acne this is the recipe for you I don’t really have very dry skin only in specific spots and I also have acne so this is tested on me and it works!! It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin and it gets rid of my dry spot and acne at the same time!!!! The recipe: Vitamin E oil Nivea All I did was I took a little mask spatula (you can use anything to stir) then I put in a fair amount of vitamin e oil and begun to stir until creamy and milky. It’s ok if it starts to clump up first that means that the Nivea is in contact with the oil but the oils not in the Nivea yet. If you have oily skin I do not recommend this because it may make your skin more oily but if you have very dry skin I recommend this 💯 NIVEA - NIVEA Crème AS I AM - Vitamin E Oil Or any vitamin e oil (Make sure it’s not a face serum just the oil I did not test out the one with a vitamin e serum so it may not be good)
I’d rather get coal than Derma E Acne Control
I’d rather get coal than the Derma E Acne Blemish Control Treatment Serum. So the product is SUPPOSED to get rid of blackheads, blemishes, and breakouts, and unclog pores. It has key ingredients like salicylic acid, BHA, tree oil, lavender, and other stuff. The product does the exact opposite for me. It is recommended to pump a little of this serum and spread it around acne and blackhead prone areas 1-3 times a day. I wanted to try this product because I have acne prone skin and blackheads around my nose. However, the more I used this product the more I broke out on the areas that I put the serum on. I’ve used this product once every night for a month and every time I put it on, the very next morning I’d receive 1-4 new pimples on the area. The product has a light gel like texture as shown in the picture. I personally didn’t mind this, but this product is very heavily scented with tree oil. The product was supposed to banish blemishes but when I put the serum on current acne, it didn’t do anything. This product also dries the skin, so a moisturizer might be needed after using this. I personally do not think this product is worth it. I think the only good thing about this product is that it’s 100% vegan and cruelty free. Other than that I would not recommend this to anyone. However it may work on other people’s skin, but it just wasn’t a match for me.DERMA•E - Acne Blemish Control Treatment Serum

Ingredients to know pt.2
AHA vs. BHA Let’s begin with AHA: - it is water soluble - great for drier skin types - improves collagen density - works on skins surface to exfoliate dead skin cells - one form of AHA is glycolic acid which can be found in a lot of skincare - helps treat inflammatory acne on surface of skin - also has skin hydrating properties - good for dry skin Next is BHA - oil soluble - can penetrate deep inside pores to unclog gunk - salicylic acid is the only true form of BHA - helps prevent blackheads and non-inflammatory acne - has anti-inflammatory properties - good for oily skin The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution this product has both and would be good for various skin types
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Chemical vs. Mechanical Exfoliation
I’ve got some pretty combination skin. My cheeks are dry/normal while my T-zone area is very normal/oily (typically oily, though). I’ve dealt with acne for a very long time, and as my fellow warriors know, acne treatments frequently dry out the skin and leave lots of peeling and dryness. The one way I’ve found to reduce peeling is exfoliation. Now, I use two different types of exfoliation depending on the status of my skin. The two are chemical and mechanical. Usually, I use chemical exfoliation as it kills more bacteria and reduces acne, but if I’m dealing with a very dry season I’ll use more mechanical exfoliation to really remove all dead skin cells. Chemically, as I’ve posted before, I use The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I’ve literally boasted about this product so much already but I cannot get ENOUGH of it! I’ve only used it for a month or two, but I’m so obsessed! My acne has cleared up tremendously, my skin feels so soft, and my complexion overall looks better. I use this product every other day, even though you’re supposed to use it less frequently, as my skin is not that sensitive and rebounds very quickly. I put a toner on afterward to balance the pH of my skin, and then I head to bed. If you have skin like me, I would recommend starting by following the directions on the bottle before increasing the frequency of usage to prevent irritation. Mechanically, I use Rejuvity® Bamboo Exfoliating Polish. #Isagenix - Rejuvity Bamboo Polish[products]#[FiveStars] I only use this product once or twice a month, but I’ve used it consistently over the course of five or six years. This scrub really digs into my skin (in a good way) and removes all the dead skin cells while making my face feel SO SMOOTH!! This definitely packs a very powerful punch, so I wouldn’t use it more than once a week if you’re considering buying it.
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
This product from the ordinary is one of their highest reviewed products and I thought I would give my review. I’m going to start off by the ingredient list because ingredients don’t lie. As my favorite YouTuber Hyram says. The top thing I noticed was how it had Glycolic Acid. Glycolic Acid is great for acne prone skin and really clears the dead skin cells and oils off of your skin. It also has Lactic Acid which is great for controlling your acne and pimples. It decreases the appearance of pores and smooths your textured rough skin. Salicylic Acid is also included which is great for digging deep into your pores and getting all of the gross stuff out of it. It can help blackheads and white heads. Overall the ingredients are great and let’s talk about my experience. This chemical exfoliater does its job. The first time I put it on it really helped clear my skin and blackheads, which is what it’s meant to do. Although I felt like every time I used it, it started to not work as good as it did the first time. I do recommend using this when your skin is not really as good as it usually is, and using this product ONCE A WEEK MAXIMUM. If you want brand new skin, use this. But PLEASE, use sunscreen. Yes it just had gotten rid of your acne but that means your new skin is very prone to UV rays which can darken Acne scars. Do not use this product if you have any open cuts on your face. It stings putting it on skin with no cuts anyways. Less is better, do not put a whole bunch on your face. Overall this product is great and I am glad it is getting the hype it deserves. Be careful with it and only use if your skin is very problematic.

The best facial peel! My skin looks radiant!
This brand is vegan and eco-ethical. The Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citus Facial Peel is the best thing I’ve used!!! Seriously. It’s so good. My skin instantly feels hydrated and brighter. I like to use it once a week. It is not abrasive at all. So this is a good option for those with sensitive skin!
