ColourPop 'It's My Pleasure' ($12) vs Huda Beauty 'Amethyst
ColourPop 'It's My Pleasure' ($12) vs Huda Beauty 'Amethyst Obsessions' ($27) These palettes definitely have very similar vibes and upon closer inspection, I'd say that 6 of the 9 shades are comparable. Not actual dupes imo but close enough to give you a similar look with either shade. The Huda shadows don't have names so I'm going number them, with the upper left corner being '1', the middle shade being '5', the lower right hand corner being '9' etc. Swipe left to see fingertip swatches! 💜 1 vs Bare Minimum- these are pretty similar but CP has blue glitter 🧡 2 isn't comparable to anything in the CP palette 💛 3 is a lot darker and more pink than Kittenfish. They're very different . 💚 4 is darker and more purple than Sleeper 💙 5 vs Earthshine- these two are pretty similar but 5 is several shades darker and more purple 🖤 6 vs Chick Lit- actually I lied in the intro. I'd consider these two to be dupes. 6 might be a little more red but not much ❤ 7 vs Fan Fiction- these two are pretty close too. Fan Fiction is a little lighter and more cool toned 💖 8 isn't comparable to anything in the CP palette 💗 9 vs Do or Dough- these two look different in the pans but quite similar on the skin. Do or Dough has blue glitter and a blue violet shift. 9 is sans glitter and more pink Do you need both? Probably not. However I love the two unique shades in the huda palette, 2 and 7. The two unique shades in the CP palette, Pretty Cruel and Mr. Sandman, are both sold individually. Which is better? Eh... it's a matter of opinion. I've heard some people say that they love the huda palette and others say that they hate it. I like both. I've only used the CP palette once so far but I really like it and it's less than half the price, made in the US and I like ColourPop better as a brand overall.
Are they dupes?

Khaki Haze ✨💚 // Is This Palette Worth It? 🤔
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 I have been using Huda Beauty’s Haze Obsessions in Khaki for my everyday look. HUDA BEAUTY - Haze Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette I have been wanting this palette since it released, but I figured I would wait until Black Friday to knock a few dollars off. So I have been using this palette for about 2 months now and I would say that I can finally do a full review rather than a first impression. First of all, I love the color story of this palette. You can create khaki bronze, soft rose pinks and gold looks with this 9 pan shade. Mattes blend like a dream. However, I am somewhat disappointed in the shimmers. Shimmer shades are beautiful but a little lackluster. My brush doesn’t pick it up even when used wet and I really have to dig in the pan 2-3x when I use my finger to get it to show up. I noticed that shimmers don’t last long on the eyelids either and I have used multiple eye primers (P.Louise eyeshadow base, ABH primer, UD Primer Potion and KVD Shake it primer). I am glad I got this on Black Friday sale for 30% off. I wouldn’t repurchase or pay full price because I expected more from the shimmers, Overall, I would give this palette 3 stars. ★★★☆☆ Mattes performed well and at the end of the day, you would want your mattes to outperform the shimmers. However, I am disappointed on how the shimmers performed because they are so beautiful. Some shades were even duo-chromes. If you have been wanting this palette, I say go for it but wait for it to go on sale... I am disappointed because I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new nude palette and my Mercury Retrograde palette. I’m not sure why this one didn’t perform as well. Xoxo, Francesca 💋

What a Pleasure! 💜
Colourpop is back! This time with another five star eyeshadow palette. I’m so happy after my last three star review that I really loved using Colourpop’s It’s My Pleasure palette. Like the other five star reviews I gave, I found this palette had gorgeous shades which were easy to blend, very pigmented and barely created kickback. Like the others, this had a great mix of mattes and shimmers in very pretty colors. Here’s what I used in this look: 💜Lid: Earthshine 💜Crease: Do or Dough 💜Outer Corner: A mix of Chick Lit and Bare Minimum Are you creating any fun holiday looks this week? COLOURPOP - It's My Pleasure
ColourPop Cosmetics 'It's My Pleasure' Palette ($12) Swatches!! I haven't had a chance to use this baby yet but I wanted to post swatches awhile. I'll probably play with it tonight. And then wash my face and go to bed. You know. The usual. Oh worth noting... four of the nine shadows are also sold individually so if you already own them then it might not be worth buying the palette.
Huda Beauty Neon Orange Palette Dupes! Guess what?? I've made some changes since my original post a few days ago. Just a few tho. It always takes me 2 or 3 tries to get shit right. Not all of these are exactly the same but they're pretty close! Okay. So now that Green and Orange are finished, all that's left is the Pink palette.
HUDA BEAUTY-Neon Obsessions Palette
I must say I've never been more excited to show something off, as I am with this hudabeauty Nude palette! This is by far the most beautiful, stunning palette out there! I've never been so in love with an eyeshadow palette like I am with this one! It's one thing to have gorgeous packaging, but for the shadows to be this beautiful and perform wonderfully too! Omg I am shook! So many textures, shimmers, and chunky glitters going on with this palette! I'd call it pure eyeshadow bliss! It truly is just as amazing as it looks!
HUDA BEAUTY-The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette
ColourPop 'Just My Luck' Palette ($12) vs Huda Beauty 'Emerald Obsessions' Palette ($27) It's My Pleasure palette to Huda Amethyst Obsessions and they were really similar so I thought that I was sensing a pattern when CP released a 9 pan green palette. Well I was wrong. These two palettes have very little in common. The huda palette is more sparkly. It has 3 mattes and 6 shimmers and 3 of those shimmers are super glittery. CP, in comparison, has 5 mattes and 4 shimmers and only 1 shade (Mary Jane) that I'd consider to be heavy on the glitter. Cp has a slightly more warm toned color story whereas Huda is a bit cooler with more blue based greens. Since the mini Huda palettes don't have shadow names, I numbered the fingertip swatches for your reference, with 1 being in the upper left corner, 5 being in the middle, 9 being in the lower right corner etc. There's only one shade that I'd consider to be a dupe, the mint green matte (Chances Are... and 2). But I did finger swatches for any thing even remotely similar (swipe left). I haven't used either palette. I only bought the Huda one so that I could compare it to CP and I've only had both palettes for a few days. I prefer CP as a brand overall and obviously $12 is a more appealing price than $27 but they're two very different palettes. If you're a green/ blue green lover you could easily justify owning both. Otherwise I think it depends on which color story you prefer.

Coral Obsessions fav palette🔥
This eye pallet from Huda is absolutely breath-taking. The colors are highly pigmented and gorgeous. Perfectly acceptable. Convenient to carry in purse. Perfect for the sale price. The shimmery shadows are perfect and they stay intense all day as long as you use a primer. Color is buildable to create more dramatic effect. All colors are very pretty and very pigmented. So literally a little bit really does go the long way. This pallets is perfect for spring, summer & fall.HUDA BEAUTY - Haze Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette

Makeup Revolution 'The Emily Edit': The Wants ($20) and The Needs ($15) I've never tried anything from Makeup Revolution but I've got high hopes because the palettes look beautiful and I love Emily Noel! The Needs was meant to be basic which isn't very exciting for me personally but I'm super excited to try The Wants!
