Skin Medica Vitamin C Serum Dupes
The SkinMedica - Vitamin C Plus E Complex even though it has vitamin e it did not help my dark spots the same way the gopure - Actives Brighten & Even Serum did. The SkinMedica - Vitamin C Plus E Complex is $102 compared to the gopure - Actives Brighten & Even Serum for $32. Bottom line is tripple the price doesn’t mean triple the effectiveness!

You HAVE to try Enzyme Exfoliation 🧖🏼♀️‼️
To truly understand why you need to try enzyme exfoliation let’s go over the differences between chemical and enzyme peels. Chemical Exfoliation: Acidic peels work very aggressively to remove the dead skin cells but they continue to do so until they are diluted or changed by increase in pH level (a neutralizing solution is applied) The best candidates for chemical exfoliation are those with uneven pigmentation, sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, etc. Like any medical procedure, there will be recovery time especially if you receive a deep facial which can require weeks of recuperation Enzyme Exfoliation: Enzymes target specific proteins and basically “ eat” dead skin cells and the molecular glue that keeps them together In a more uniform, safe, and gentle way enzymes are able to purge the skin of impurities and unclog pores they are derived from fruits and plants, and your skin does not develop a tolerance to them. So, your skin will continue to receive benefits from enzymes as long as you use them! If the reasons aren’t OBVIOUS the biggest one is: Enzymes are much safer for you especially those with sensitive skin! Harsh chemicals eat away at healthy skin too, they do not discriminate on which cells to strip away but enzymes do! Enzymes will only eat away dead cells & proteins making sure to only leave radiant, healthy skin behind. Products like: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutioncan be very aggressive & cause reverse effects for certain skin types. Risks like scarring & infection are possible if you are not careful. Also, you need to be sure you’re using it as advertised (how many times a week, how much product is needed, etc.) Research or consult your local dermatologist before any “at-home” treatments that you might regret! Products like: CLARISMA - Malibu Blush Exfoliating Scrub contain fruit enzymes, rich butters, and oils that work to revive the skin rather than strip it bare. This scrub is safe for 2-3x a week use & you don’t have to work about the risks because there aren’t really any! Try it out for yourself & watch the magic happen.

$20 less for 10 oz more! 😱‼️
Now I won’t lie the dupe isn’t EXACT! But both moisturizers are formulated with ingredients that can provide intense hydration. Also a big reason that makes me love it is the PRICE TAG! Let’s talk about these products individually CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin This product is formulated with ceramides and hyaluronic acid to perform as a powerhouse of moisturization. It does contain small amounts of alcohol and parabens. Some may feel bothered by that & some may not. It’s about $1 per ounce of product. (12 oz - $16 / 16 oz - $19 info found on Ulta) It’s fragrance and oil free and is accepted by the national eczema association. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream This product is formulated with colloidal oatmeal & squalane which work to moisturize and soothe the skin even relieving irritation and itching. It’s also recommended for eczema. This retails at $34 for standard size (6 oz). This product is also part of the Clean at Sephora line which lets you know it is formulated without harmful ingredients. These products deliver similar results but one can be easier on your wallet. The Cerave is slightly thinner & dries down a little slower but it’s 100% manageable. The First Aid Beauty feels thicker but it does not make it the better product. Personally, I can be happy with the price tag & performance of the Cerave! You get so much for what you pay. Both are great products but you can’t deny that paying less is always nice. What do you think?

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Hello Hello ✨ This is my first impressions of The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and I have to say I was a bit intimidated!!!! I’ll admit... ordered this product because of the hype and the cool blood look! But I also did a lot of research on it and read hundreds of reviews giving warnings and feedback about the product. Initially, when I first put it on it went really smoothly and I had little to no tingling. After two minutes of applying that’s when I started to tingle on my cheek area but it wasn’t uncomfortable or unbearable. I only left the peeling solution on for eight minutes because it is my first time using it and it says not to use it for no more than 10 minutes. I rinsed off with warm water and my skin was SMOOTH AS HELL!!!! Before I use the peeling solution, I use the Squalane Cleanser The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser from the ordinary as well because I didn’t want to use a really harsh cleanser before I did a very Intensive peel for the first time. The video I showed of my skin without the peel on it is directly after me rinsing it off with no product. My skin was smooth to the touch with no irritation or redness. Even though this is my first time using the product, I will try again in about a week to see if I get any different results. My goal for this product is to reduce the texture of my skin as well as hopefully evening out my skin tone and reducing hyperpigmentation. I will be posting the full routine that I used right after this for those of you who are curious! If you have any suggestions or questions please hmu 🥰

Do this for your products to penetrate deeper🤯
Microdermabrasion is an awesome treatment you can do AT HOME with pulsaderm - Renu Microdermabrasion system. Essentially microdermabrasion is an exfoliating treatment for the skin to renew overall skin tone and texture. It uses an abrasive surface (like diamond) to gently sand away the thick outer layer of skin and suction them off immediately. It’s safe for most skin types and colors.💁🏽♀️💁🏼♀️💁🏾♂️ Microdermabrasion is a great treatment for -diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles -reduce pore size -diminish appearance of blemishes -even skin texture -reduce appearance of dark spots -diminish appearance of stretch marks Once the top layer of skin is exfoliated, this allows the products you put on to penetrate deeper into the skin. This allows your products to work better and provide greater results over time. It comes with 4 diamond heads: standard, delicate, firm, and bold. 💎💎 I use mine twice a month. 🚫This is DEFINITELY something you don’t want to use once a day🚫The most often I would do this treatment is once per week. 🙌🏼
Trying New Makeup Products!
I did my makeup the other day and I enjoyed every second of it! I wanted to make sure that “i still got it” 😭. I tagged everything I used so y’all can find it easily. The only item I couldn’t find was Quickie by Colourpop so I made a tag for it, but it might be discontinued. I listed everything below so I could make sure the shades I used are specified. Glowin’ because TJ Maxx treats me RIGHT 💫😤
My last post made me even more aware of what a beauty noob I am, so today after work I went to TJ Maxx to look for a new highlighter because I never pay full price for anything (s/o to my parents for guilt-tripping me for 20 years!) In the end,I found said highlighter and so, so much more... First things first: I picked up the REVOLUTION - Strobe Highlighter in Holographic Lights and had this internal debate over whether or not to buy it but, at the end of the day, who needs to stress over a $3 product? So I decided to get it. I already had what I thought was a pretty decent highlighter, but boy was I wrong. This stuff is BEAUTIFUL. Someone with a little more cred might not be quite as impressed but I love it and that’s that. 💅 Plot twist: I see yet another beautiful Revolution highlighter and start to debate again until I remember that I am working lady and I can have both. So I also got the REVOLUTION - Liquid Highlighter in Champagne which is also so good and was only $3.50! I also ended up with: - MAC - Amplified Lipstickin Mocha - BITE - Outburst Longwear Lip Stainin Infuse - stila - Stay All Day Sheer Liquid Lipstickin Forza - MILANI - Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Palette07 - a “golden nudes” eye palette from a company called Style Essentials, which I haven’t heard of and can’t find in here. I was a little skeptical of this one just because I don’t know anything about it, but it was cheap and I’ll definitely use it :) All of these items were well under $10 and I am super pumped to get my money’s worth!
What are these! Tiny bumps that won’t pop!
I’ve always had these random bumps that appeared randomly on my face but recently they started appearing on my “contour” line and jaw line. I don’t wear makeup or anything like that but I don’t know what these are or how to get rid of them.
