Good or bad?? 🤔

FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration- I’ve been using this for about three weeks, and waiting so I could give a good, honest review about this product 😌✨ One thing that stands out when using this product is that it’s a pretty heavy facial cream. Though, my skin seems to soak it up really fast? I don’t know if that’s just cuz I have dry skin, or if it just works really fast 🤷‍♀️ Another thing is that it puts me to sleep lol, it has a minty- herb like smell to it, though you can get it in other scents or without any fragrance at all 😉💕 I would say that this would not work for anyone who has oily/combo skin, it’s just too heavy. But those with normal skin that need a boost of moisture or those with dry skin that obvi need+want the moisture, (lol) would find this cream useful. Hope my review helped xx 💕

ULTRA HYDRATION!! 🚨
Bomb moisturizer! My first ever FAB purchase and I love it! This product is super hydrating for my dry skin feels super lightweight, and doesn't leave me with a greasy/oily feel or look. It also claims to work well with those who suffer from eczema. Key ingredients include: 🚨Shea Butter: moisturizes and protects the skin's barrier with vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. 🚨Allantoin: calms and soothes skin Overall this product is an essential for me and I will be repurchasing! That being said, what works for me may not work for you! Always do your research before trying new products. 💕FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration

So You’re New to Skincare and Need a Routine
I will recommend products, brands, and explain a few things so you can create your own skincare routine! Skincare Brands: Here are a few trusted brands I recommend. Remember something that works for one person might not work for you. - CeraVe- you can get CeraVe from your local pharmacy or just from amazon. they aren’t expensive but still have great ingredients that are good for sensitive skin - Drunk Elephant- a more expensive brand but worth it. they are vegan, cruelty-free, and great for sensitive skin - Youth to the People- once again a more expensive brand but amazing products. they are vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and great for sensitive skin - Krave- medium priced and sell super great serums. vegan, cruelty-free, and for sensitive skin - The Ordinary- sell cheap products with great ingredients! this brand is mostly for serums and acids. also cruelty-free - Paula’s Choice- medium priced products. most are serums, acids, and toners. also cruelty-free SPF: Sunscreen is a must! No matter your skin type or what products you use. It protects your skin from UV rays and lessens your chance of skin cancer. Some moisturizers have sunscreen in it already while others don’t. If they don’t, then you need to buy separate face sunscreen. Sunscreens can be physical or chemical. Here are the pros and cons: Chemical: - Absorbed Into skin - Thin and ideal for everyday use - Skincare ingredients added easily on top - Wait 15 minutes to be effective - Reapply every 2 hours or so Physical: - Sits on top of skin - Works immediately - Apply once - Thicker and heavier - Not waterproof Basic Skincare Parts: All skincare routines must have a cleanser, moisturizer, and some sort of sunscreen no matter your skin type or concerns. Use a cleanser 1-2 times a day and a moisturizer after. Here are my recommendations for cleansers and moisturizers. Cleansers/Face Wash: -CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanserthis is best for normal, dry, and combo skin. it leaves the face feeling soft and hydrated. -CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skinthis is best for normal, oily, and combo skin. it’s gentle, effective, and removes oil without damaging the skin barriers. - CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skinthis is for people who have acne! SA stands for salicylic acid. the acid goes into your pores and dissolves any dead skin cells clogging it. - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanserthis can be used for all skin types and is particularly good for acne. even if you don’t have acne I still recommend this product. it gives a deep cleanse to make sure your pores are completely clean. - fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Washgreat for all skin types. it removes all makeup, including mascara, as well as impurities, leaving your skin clean. Moisturizers: -DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Creama gel-like texture that absorbs into skin quickly. leaves it soft, hydrated, protected, and gives it a slight glow. great for sensitive skin! -FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydrationamazing for super dry skin and eczema. absorbs quickly into skin and leaves it soft. -CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30generally lightweight but still moisturizes well! good for acne and skin texture because it has niacinamide in it. still everyone can use it. has sunscreen already in it for the day. -CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotionsame product above except slightly thicker and without spf for night. - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishiamazing for sensitive, dry or combo skin. boosts skin’s hydration and won’t clog your pores. -Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream great hydrating moisturizer that is also a primer for makeup. for people with normal or dry skin. not for sensitive skin because it has fragrance in it. Acids/Serums: Acids and serums are for specific skin concerns such as acne, redness, blackheads, dullness, etc. Here are ones I recommend to everyone even if you are new to skincare! Use these after cleanser but before moisturizer. (Patch test before use.) Look on websites for instructions and make sure ingredients don’t conflict if you use multiple acids. - The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%for people with acne, large pores, blackheads, and skin texture. honestly everyone can use this in their routine! -Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum does the same thing as above - PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Boosterdoes the same thing as above - The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5hydrates the skin and makes it bouncy. gives it a glow. no matter your skin type or concerns you should use this! apply on damp skin - Krave - Great Barrier Reliefgreat for redness and irritation. will soothe the skin.

INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: 0.5% Colloidal Oatmeal
INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: 0.5% Colloidal Oatmeal
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration So oatmeal being good for us isn’t just a myth our moms made up? Correct. There is plenty of research to back up the benefits of colloidal (ground up) oats as well as oat extracts (aveeno sativa) for dry, irritated, and eczema-prone skin. Oat contains beta glucans and omega fatty acids that heal and protect our skin barrier! There are a lot of oat-containing moisturizers out there: anything special about First Aid Beauty specifically? I was definitely afraid of finding FAB boring. It doesn’t seem particularly special but I can’t complain about Ultra Repair Cream’s formulation. Other than Colloidal Oatmeal, it’s got allatoin (soothing), squalene and ceramides (skin-identical ingredients). The texture seems thick but spreads very light. It leaves my skin feeling protected but not oily at all. For $12, I don’t have much to complain about! Would I Repurchase? I don’t see why not but I’m not WOW’ed by this product. Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion also has oat extract as a main ingredient and is much cheaper so I know there are similar alternatives out there. I do love the unnoticeable way FAB feels on the face, so I can see myself reaching for this often as a functional relief for dry patchy days!

😪 EMPTY 😪

This product is very universal and very amazing. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration can be used on the face body or hands. I like to travel with this specifically because it can conquer all of those needs for me. It’s very calming and soothing on my face so I can use it as my nighttime and daytime moisturizer. However, it is also good for the body since the consistency is thick and whipped. I love this as a body and facial moisturizer and I already have a full size but I like to travel with this because it is such a universal product. It is pricey to get the full size, but I do think that it’s worth it if you’re going to use it for all of those meets that I mentioned above. I would definitely recommend this to somebody who has sensitive skin or wants a good three in one product or just wants something that is going to be whipped and absorb quickly into the skin.

Damaged Skin Concern: FAB Ultra Repair
Damaged Skin Concern: FAB Ultra Repair
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration Sometimes my skin gets over worked. From using AHA and BHA products, if I’m not careful then my skin will have an adverse reaction. When that does occur, I need something that will help protect my skin and allow it to heal. This is where First Aid Beauty’s ultra repair cream comes in. This is a super popular product and I can see why. It’s a basic, fragrance and dye-free moisturizer that can even be used for dry hands. It has colloidal oatmeal which is a soothing ingredient sometimes used to help eczema and rosacea. I love the addition of this ingredient because it’s super gentle and calming. Another reason I love this moisturizer is because it works well with my oily skin. Even when my skin can get damaged, it feels dry and oily at the same time. This moisturizer isn’t too thick or emollient to make me break out or feel oily. It sinks into the skin effortlessly and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. For that reason, this would be a great product for anyone with any skin type. Overall, this product feels super repairing and gentle for when my skin is either breaking out or feeling dehydrated. Give this a try!

Help! Dry cracked nose
Help! Dry cracked nose
Despite constant moisturizing and refraining from washing it too much, my nose still seems to crack. Those red dots you see are healing. I’ve tried medication in the past, which definitely helped, but it didn’t stop me from getting wounds. I washed and put neosporin on, but I don’t know how that will sit with my pores. Is there any good products I should try? For a moisturizer, I use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30 and it feels really nice to put on. My dermatologist recommended it to me and it’s helped a lot with dryness and flakiness. I also use TRADER JOE'S - Watermelon Mask and Facial Mist Set I can’t speak on the effectiveness, but it’s very refreshing and smells nice.
