Red skin no more!!
Every skincare enthusiast knows the feeling of joy upon discovering a new superstar multi-tasking product, and I am so lucky to have found such a gem today 🤩 The name is Cicapair — Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment, to be exact—and with its cost starting at just $14.40, it is an affordable cream to try for anyone with sensitive skin or any skin conditions that cause their skin to be red/irritated. This is truly an all-in-one product because not only is it loaded with effective ingredients to hydrate skin, soothe irritations that cause redness, and protect it from environmental aggressors, but it also PHYSICALLY covers and conceals that redness/hyperpigmentation, AND makes your skin glow (see my “after” picture)!!! Oh, and did I mention that it is also a sunscreen, with an SPF of 30?! 🤯🤯 As you can see in my pictures, this cream is actually green in the container (which does look a bit weird and intimidating at first glance tbh) but that is actually the secret that makes it so effective at correcting and concealing redness. It follows a well-known principle of the Color Theory for Makeup that states that green is the ideal color to neutralize red. This is because red and green are opposite colors of each other on the color wheel (RYB model). Pretty cool, huh?🌈Alot of makeup companies make “color correcting” concealers in different colors, for this reason, but this is the first SKIN CARE product that I’ve seen attempt to use this concept, so I just had to try it. 😋 And it did not disappoint! This cream has a very nice consistency that allows it to absorb into the skin effortlessly and makes it feel very smooth and hydrated. Although the cream does start out as green it blends into your skin very easily and the green fades to match the color of your skin quickly. The finish ends up just looking like clear, even, super moisturized skin!! I am so impressed with how much it visibly burred all of the imperfections on my skin—it made my pores invisible, evened out my skin tone, and made my skin glow!! This product is perfect by itself, especially on summer days when it’s too hot for makeup, or as an amazing primer, so you have a smooth base on which to apply your makeup. I highly recommend it— this is one of those rare skincare products that you come across that produces the results that it promises, makes a visible difference in skin tone immediately upon use, and is reasonably priced!l Yes girl, they say the devil works hard, but definitely not as hard as this Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

This is worth the hype
Yesterday I tried the Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 and as you can see my skin is literally glowing! I applied it after my AM routine, and the results make me love it and it’s a staple in my routine when I’m going out (ofc the only part I’ll show is my forehead due the mask) but the glow is real 💖
Why I purchase gift sets
When looking to purchase more product or even give a new product a try, I always look at sets/kits first. Usually, you can find an offer that is the same as you were planning to spend and typically you’ll get some free minis or another full price product to try. I choose these two examples as they were two I recently picked up. I’ve been a longtime user of the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution and the serum alone costs $79 for 1 oz When you purchase the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Cults Set you receive the same full-size serum PLUS 2 more products to try. For me, it’s a no-brainer. I’ve always purchased the serum in the set for this very reason ⭐️ My daughter really likes the Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 $52 for 1.7 oz / and during the Sephora sale they were out of stock. So I searched for a kit and came across Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Soothing Hydration Set that had the full-size product she wanted PLUS 3 more products for her to try for only an additional $5 TOTAL = $57 So again for me, it was an easy choice. I also scored a great deal with the Black Friday sales and purchased Farmacy’s Ultimate Best Sellers Kit (no longer available) as I needed more Honeymoon Glow and Cheer Up. • The kit included Honeymoon Glow, Cheer Up, Daily Greens, & Green Clean. • The entire kit, with discounts, ended up $84. • If purchased alone, the Honeymoon Glow & Cheer Up would have cost, with discount, $72 • This by far was my biggest savings!!! ⭐️ Don’t be afraid to shop kits! Especially during sales! Those are when you can score some of the best deals! And if you have a product in the kit you know you won’t use, you can always gift it to a friend. ❤️🍒
Disappointed | Dr. Jart Ciciapair Tiger Grass
The Dr. Jart Ciciapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment was disappointing! It made my face break out and greasy. I do think it covered the the redness however at a price for more redness in the form of pimples. I will not be purchasing this again. I have the trial size that I got for free from Sephora using my points, the .5 oz is $18 and the 1.5 oz is $52 at Sephora. Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

Marshall’s Haul: Deals and Steals!
If you guys aren’t going to Marshall’s/Ross/TJ Maxx occasionally to peruse their skincare and makeup sections you’re missing out!!! Here are the deals I got (product reviews to come). The pimple patches were actually found at Target, a friend recommended stickers because my skin is too sensitive for acne treatment and I only get the occasional hormonal spot here recently. $7.99 USD alba BOTANICA - Acne Pimple Patch I have been wanting to try FAB’s tinted moisturizer foreverrrr because it has colloidal oatmeal in it which is amazing for my eczema! It is normally $28 though, which is steep for a tinted moisturizer. I got it at Marshall’s for $15.99 IN MY SHADE! Very excited to try this baby out. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 I love pawpaw ointment! It’s a great multipurpose balm to have on hand (similar to Aquaphor) I haven’t tried this fancy brand yet, I usually use Lucas’ Pawpaw (thank you Australian camp counselor friends) but have heard great things about Dr. Pawpaw (UK-based). This 100 mL tube is usually $25 and I got it for $3.99!!! Dr. PAWPAW - Original Balm And for the STEAL I got Bareminerals original mineral foundation that is normally $32 for $5.99!!! Fun fact, Bareminerals was the first foundation I ever used and I’ve been curious to try it again since I’ve been having so many issues with my skin. Going to try that natural look out again and worst case mix it with a moisturizer if it’s powdery. bareMinerals - Matte Loose Powder Mineral Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Reviews to come! 💕 Oh and didn’t have time to do the lashes today fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Brighter skin & acne-treatment in one!
Texture- slick, creamy, thick moisturizer with spf I came across this product while browsing through sephora one day and swatch it on my hand and didn’t see much of a difference at the time. But throughout the day I started noticing that the hand looked brighter but also one skin-tone. I’m someone who doesn’t use foundation because I’m afraid of clogging my pores, but this product has ingredients that will combat oily skin, and its non-comedogenic. Cica helps people who have acne/ acne-prone skin and I have noticed it does do that! When you first apply it to your skin it is extremely refreshing and it goes on pasty but once you blend it in, it makes your skin look brighter and as if its been filtered! & it also has spf!! (SPF 30) Would I recommend? Yes, it is a little pricy, but I would definitely try to get a sample of this from your nearest sephora or ulta!Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

I have been really into Kbeauty lately! There are so many great Korean Skincare brands it’s kind of crazy! 🔻 Have any of you heard of Medicube? They have everything from skincare to makeup! A while ago I got several of their products to test out and I am going to point out my top three favorites, which are pictured in all three of these photos! 🔺 🔴Medicube Red Serum. 🔴Medicube Red Concealer SPF30 PA++ 🔴Medicube Red Capsule Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ The Red Cushion is suitable for all skin types including sensitive. The ivory base contains centella asiatica to soothe skin, while the pink base contains calamine to protect skin. 🔺 I really like this! It is great coverage and it leaves my skin a nice dewy finish without making me oily. It completely evens out my skin tone and covers any trace of redness I may have going on. The compact container is super convenient and easy for travel. The only drawback about this product is that it’s only available in two shades, both of which are super light! 🔻 The Red Concealer is also suitable for all skin types. It is formulated with squalene to moisturize and revitalize skin, and centella asiatica lefa extract to prevent skin from dehydration. 🔺 This concealer is very full coverage and will last all day! I have actually been having a hard time removing it! It’s definitely good for hiding imperfections (my big thing is dark circles)! Like the cushion, it’s only available in two fair shades so if you’re pale you might really love these! 🔻 The Serum is great for acne-prone skin. It controls sebum production for clean and healthy skin and regulates your skin's oil and moisture balance. It is formulated with beta-glucan, glycerin, betaine and butylene glycol to prevent skin dryness. 🔺 I have found that I love the smell of this serum! It pairs great with the red cushion and gives me a nice level of moisture without over doing it! I have also found that it’s been keeping any breakouts under control! I will definitely be repurchasing! 🔻

Redness? Don’t know her
This product has CHANGED my life, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been using this for about a month and a half to replace foundation. It is light coverage and specifically targets redness and evening skin tone. I have sensitive acne prone skin and this has been a game changer for offering coverage without the comedogenic ingredients present in most cosmetics so it doesn’t break me out! It also has SPF 30 to give an extra layer of protection from the sun. It goes on as a green paste and rubs in to be a beige tone, so this really only suitable for lighter skin types. Won’t be buying foundation again! Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 After I rub this in with my fingers, I add a little contour to follow with a light translucent powder. The only downside to this is that I wouldn’t recommend wearing this without a primer and a light coat of powder because the consistency can come off rather easy without a second layer of powder. This doesn’t bother me because I always put on a light layer of powder anyway to make my face last longer. It’s a great product and I highly recommend!!

Acne-friendly makeup with full coverage... [b&a pic]
It is super annoying to put on heavy makeup layer by layer, but it is unavoidable to get a perfect look for people like me with lots of acne scars and pimples. Sometimes the situation may even get worse since some products can clog pores, which leads to more pimples and scars if not treated in time. I just want to share some products and tips that I found quite helpful to get a great look without complicating procedures. What I do first after waking up is to drink a whole glass of warm water to clean my gut and wake it up. Then and go to wash my face with a scrub cleanser. I prefer a scrub cleanser than a normal cleanser is because the tiny particles in the scrub can effectively exfoliate all the dead skin produced during the night in a gentle way. This is an amazing preparation for the following makeup. After that I apply an oil-free moisturiser which is good for oily skin like me, and a bit of spray over my face. I like spraying my face and neck after the cleansing, moisturiser, and after the foundation. It is just a thermal spring water spray that provides sheer hydration I can handle, especially in the summertime. The scrub and the spray preps for the skin for makeup and here is the last tip I want to emphasise. My way to camouflage all my acne or pimple or whatever the flaw on my face, is to apply concealer and setting powder two times in a makeup: one before foundation and one after the foundation. I put on the concealer and use powder to set it, and that is the first layer of coverage that stays longer than it’s on the foundation. I follow this again after the foundation to make it stay longer and cover better. I know that full coverage tip sounds scary to somebody, but it is really hard to conceal all the marks on make. However, the process is easy to remember and follow on a daily basis and the feeling on face is quite light in face. The whole look gets more dazzling when our face gets slightly oily after a few hours.
