easy zoom call makeup!

Hey beauties! I wanted to share my current skin routine for morning & night, since I've updated it with some new products that I'm enjoying and it's been working for me. Hope it works for you too! :) ☀️Morning: 1. I typically don't wash my face since all I did was sleep and I do this routine pretty soon after I wake up. So the first step is really to use almost a whole pump of OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum on my whole face 2. Then I use about a dime sized amount of myKiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream 3. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom goes on my lips - I prefer either fig, birthday, berry or coconut 4. Volia! That's easy :) 🌙Evening: 1. Cleanse my face in the shower using a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser 2. After my shower, I sometimes use my facial roller (it's SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Rollerand Idk what to rate it as since it's the only one I have) 3. Next is the serum - depending on what's the issue; if it's acne:Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector, redness and/or irritation: Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum, or just feels ok / needs a little something to smooth out or be more hydrated: TATCHA - The Dewy Serum Resurfacing and Plumping Treatment 4. If I want to use an eye cream, I go with the Ole Henriksen banana bright eye creme from this set: OLE HENRIKSEN - Let's Get Luminous Brightening Essentials Set it's a half size one and the set is only $40 5. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom again because it's hydrating enough for me (yes my lips do get dry since they're a little chapped when I wake up, but I don't think I necessarily need a lip mask) 6. Of course, the last step is a facial spray, and it's always my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spraybc I can't live without it. In case you're curious, the total price for my routine is $363!! (that includes all the products I mentioned) 🤯

This seems to be a cult classic on here so, I figured, being that I LOVE a good lip balm, I was so excited to try this! First off, the scent puts me to mind of my childhood- I’ll be honest, and much older- lip smackers vanilla buttercream lip gloss. It’s almost identical in shade- the iridescent sparkle- but the glossier balm is a much thicker consistency, and the smell is more subtle. I’m glad I tried it, and I will most definitely try other scents in the line! Glossier. - Balm Dotcom

Loving the skin you are in is hard . As my skin cleared up throughout the last year ,I realized that I really like having a little makeup on : on my eyes ,on my cheek ,on my lips. I am experimenting with this no makeup makeup look and I had those glossier and colourpop products perfect for trying something that has become a little routine in the last few weeks 🙂: on the lips : First ,I apply COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Oil in the shade skinny dip,it really moisturize the lip and I put on top of that the COLOURPOP - Lip Tint Kit in the shade gimme s'more to add more color on the cheek: Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in the shade puff. I dab it and blend it with my fingers . I sometimes put a little on my eyes to act as a little pop of color in the crease on the eyes : I admit that it's not my favorite products because they are not the most pigmented and the shimmer can be messy ,but it's so easy to apply and be done in five seconds. I use two shades of the Glossier. - Lidstar Duo one in the shade fawn on the outer eye,it brings dimension and a grunginess to the look , and the shade moon on the lid and the inner corner for more brightness All our skin journeys are different and important. It is vital to share it and be proud of it because we are all beautiful . As long as you do it for you ,then you're proving how amazing you are ! tourlou 🪐

Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 I’ve been trying to find the perfect no makeup makeup look lately and I think I finally found the right combination for complexion products to use. I’ve been on a hunt lately and have been trying to find the perfect tinted moisturizer, sheer foundation and a setting powder. I used Glossier Perfecting Tint in G7 all over my face and the Stretch Concealer in G8 for under the eyes. For cheeks, I used Glossier’s Cloud Paint and mixed Puff and Haze then set my fave with Becca Light Shifter finishing veil in Star Hugger. The result is a natural dewy finish. My skin looks like skin, but luminous. You can still see my imperfections such as acne scars, but my complexion is evened out. I am also glowing ✨ I think going for the cloud paint made me look even more “effortless” rather than using a powder blush. When I apply powder blush, you can see it sitting on top of my skin which is a huge sign that I’m wearing makeup. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you don’t want that when you’re going for the “I woke up like this” look. Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint Glossier. - Stretch Concealer Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color BECCA - Light Shifter Finishing Veil Setting Powder For my eyes, I used 3 eyeshadow shades. I used my Natasha Denona Mini Nude Palette. I used Quoin all over my crease, Lumino on my lids and Soil as an eyeliner. On some days I leave my lids bare. I still do like to go heavy on the mascara. NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette For the lips, I like to keep it bare. I have extremely dry lips and I try not to put anything on them as much as possible. I just use Kosas - Kosasport Lipfueland a nude hydrating gloss. COLOURPOP - So Juicy Plumping Gloss I never knew that looking “naturally pretty” and “effortless” is actually so much work! Today I tried my second product from my recent Glossier purchase. I got Skywash, the matte, liquid eyeshadow in Pool. The color is a very pretty light blue. It’s very subtle but helps my blue eyes pop, which I always love! I found the product itself is easy to use. You simply swipe it on and blend with your finger for a very pretty, soft look. The reason I gave this four instead of five stars is because it felt like there was very little actual product in the tube. The brush came out pretty dry and I had to dip it in a few times to get the shadow out. All in all it’s an easy product to use and the result is very pretty! Let’s elevate our beauty routines in the new year! My focus for 2021 is stress a little less, focus on what makes me happy, and indulge (whatever meaning that takes on, we’ll see!). And, I'm getting starting with these beauty resolutions... 1. Make double cleansing more of a priority. 
 In 2020, I made a strong effort to ditch wipes. FOR GOOD! I fell in love with the Living Cleansing Balm from Then I Met You and it made double cleansing something I looked forward to. Excited to keep up the effort (it’s really balanced my oily skin) and find new products I love to cleanse with.  Anyone have a cleansing balm they absolutely love? 2. Get in the habit of overnight lip care
 I’m a lip biter. When I’m stressed, I can’t help but put my emotions into biting my lips. I hate the habit and my poor lips suffer. And while lips heal fast, I’ve been looking for products that give them major nourishment and protection against my wicked biting. Milk Makeup’s Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask has brought them back to life, making this more of a ritual as it relates to my nighttime skincare routine I think I can do! 3. Have more fun with makeup
 2020 had me going barefaced often. And while my skin could really renew and show its naturally dewy self...I missed playing around! I’m determined to have fun with my funky colored Skywash’s from Glossier and bright eye liners from Freck. Who knows, maybe I'll even break out the rhinestones. I’m ready to get a little wild.  4. Nourish the brows!
 I’ve been growing them out and while they look FAB, they need some TLC! I rarely fill them in when it comes to my makeup routine and I get them waxed/trimmed only about twice a year. I just got this new eyebrow soap from Lilac Beauty and they have been soaking up all the goodness from castor oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, and coconut oil. Highly recommend this, and taking suggestions for more brow care products!  5. Meditate more, stress less, and take baths
 Beauty meditation is totally a thing. And doing my skincare routine, painting my nails, or even taking a bath just makes me feel like time stops a little. There’s times where I feel it’s my chance to breathe and reflect. Being intentional with my routines like adding in more gua sha tool usage or time with my Nuface is something i’m striving for. But also, I’ve found setting intentions and using bath salts have helped me calm down from a stressful day.
