Hydrating and antioxidant morning routine

adventuresintoskincare
I am an avid skincare lover and I love trying out new products. I have dry and acne prone skin which means it has been lots of trial and error to find what works for my seemingly contradictory skin. This trial has led to my interest in skincare so I have developed several routines that work for me depending on the season, how my skin feels and my mood. This is one of my morning routines with products I have used extensively. I call this my hydrating and antioxidant routine and i use this routine year round. Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser
This is my favourite morning cleanser as it doesn’t strip my skin. FRUDIA - Pomegranate Nutri-Moisturizing Toner
this is a great toner/essence hybrid that is deeply moisturizing and it preps my skin for my next steps. The Ordinary - Argireline Solution 10%
i have used several bottles and it is a light serum that helps reduce dynamic lines. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum
this is a light cream antioxidant that makes my face feel so soft. VERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream
I enjoy this light cream as it hydrated my eye area it has a tint and shimmer to lighten the appearance of the area. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
this has been my go to moisturizer/spf for days I am staying inside. Or On days that I do go out I wear a separate moisturizer and spf such as THE inkey LIST - Turmeric Brightening Moisturizer
this is an antioxidant, brightening moisture though it can be thick PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid
I love this sun screen as it is super light and spreadable

The Ordinary Product Reviews
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This is my second review of this product. It makes my skin feel great. I definitely feel like it improves my skin. I use it twice a week. It recommends only 10 mins but I do use it for 15 min or so. I just feel like on my skin it works better longer. It does burn the first minute or so but it’s worth it. I love this product. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I really like this product. I have large pores so I’m using it for that reason and to help with blemishes/ redness on my face. It helps. It is a thicker serum so it doesn’t run when you put it on your face so I love that. You do not have to use much of this product. A little bit goes a long way. The Ordinary - Argireline Solution 10% This product was called “Botox in a bottle” on the reviews on Sephora. So I had to buy it and try it out. It’s a thinner serum so it does run. Again, a little goes a long way. I only apply to my forehead lines and frown lines. It isn’t a miracle worker that I can tell but I’m still on my first bottle. I do like this product. I had some run down and get on my lips because I wasn’t quick enough rubbing it in... saying that to say, it does cause a numbing effect. I will definitely continue to use. All these products are great. You can’t beat the price. Sephora has free shipping with “freeship”code so I order all my products for The Ordinary on there. 🖤🤍

Dupe for Glossier jelly cleanser
Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser $18 available on Glossier.com for 177ml Gently removes make up and cleanse skin. Made for all skin types. Based with soothing rose water, comfrey root extract, and pro vitamin-B5, this cleanser is meant to soothes and heals dry stresses skin. Use one-two pumps on dry skin to remove make and rinse off with water. There’s no “soap” content in this cleanser. Instead they are based with poloxamer— gentle surfactant that helps to break up the product on micellar level— generally used in contact lens solution, mouth wash, micellar water , etc. I personally love this cleanser in the morning. And I love love the way it smells. bliss - Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser $10-$14 depending on the retail, for 190ml. I think Target has it for $9.99. I got mine at CVS with one of their coupons. 😜 Similar to its Glossier’s brother, it can also be used dry/ wet. Also based with rose water and pro vitamin-B5 it gently removes make up as well as cleanse. While it is made for all skin types it is best for dry stressed skin. This cleanser uses Apple Amino Acids— Derived from apple juice essential amino acids – a natural surfactant that gently cleanses eyes and skin. It is a lil’ but less jelly than the Glossier cleanser and smells different (smells great!) but overall cleanse the same. It is literally the same cleanser. So if you are in the market for something more accessible than Glossier or just something less expensive, this is a great dupe! But both are amazing products that I will repurchase again and again. Clean products: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱SLSE 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful Other Jelly cleansers to try: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Elderberry Jelly Cleanser Awake - Glow Smoothie Jelly Cleanser HERBIVORE - Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser

Soothing and brightening morning routine
I like to mix up my routine depending on what my skin is needing. This is what I call my soothing and brightening routine as I have a few brightening and deeply hydrating products in this routine. I like to keep my morning routine gentle and hydrating and I use most of my actives in my evening routines (vitamin C is the exception to the rule)! Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser This is my go to gentle and hydrating morning cleanser Pyunkang Yul - Essence Toner This is a very popular Korean essence founded out of a Medicinal clinic and focus on a minimal ingredient list. COSRX - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule I love this light and soothing serum, my skin responses very well to bee products The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F This is a very effective vitamin c derivative serums. It has brightened my skin and there are none of the stinging side effect of full vitamin c. VERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream This is a gel/cream that is light with mild colour corrective properties Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 My go to moisturizer with spf for days I am mostly inside. I use a very liberal amount but I am never greasy. On days I have time (usually Saturday 😃) I like to double mask with: VERSED - PHOTOS, PLEASE BRIGHTENING TIGHTENING MASK This is a Kaolin clay and turmeric mask that I use on my forehead, nose and chin. It never dries me out and the antioxidant properties are great. And VERSED - LOOK ALIVE Hydrating Plumping Mask This gel mask is so hydrating on my cheeks!

Let’s talk toners
Toners...remove any last traces of dirt and grime stuck in your pores. They are really useful for people with oily/ acne prone skin. Toners with good ingredients can restore the ph balance of your skin, clean clogged pores and prep your skin for the next step of your skincare routine. But make sure you choose a toner that has good and clean ingredients otherwise it will end up stripping your skin. Choose wisely! I listed the four toners that I am currently using. Rating them from best to worst from my personal experience. 1️⃣ CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner love love love this toner! The bottle I currently use is almost finished in a month and I am definitely going to repurchase it. That’s how much I love it! Lol! It vegan and cruelty free which is great. It has surely help unclog my pores to a certain extent. It’s mild aroma really soothes me and makes my skin cleaner. It has salicylic acid which helps fight my acne as well. Overall a win-win and definitely a repeat buy for me. 2️⃣ #Frudia - Avacado Relief Essence Toner[products]#[FourStars] I have only recently started using it so cannot talk much about it. Though the initial reviews are great. It’s vegan and cruelty free which is something I am keen on and trying to transition all my skincare to. It has over 60% avacoado extract and amino acids that are really great for both oily and sensitive skin types. Really excited to this and if I love its long term effects then I will try the FRUDIA - Pomegranate Nutri-Moisturizing Tonernext. So fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞 3️⃣ THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner I like this product because there was a time when nothin else helped me keep my acne in check except for this one toner! That was when I didn’t know much about skincare. It has been a long journey since then and now I like to keep myself updated with the ingredients and what they really do to our skin. On the flip side this one contains alcohol which is a bit drying at times. Because of this I won’t be re-buying. 4️⃣ THE BODY SHOP - British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner I don’t really use it on my face anymore. Only on my neck and hands. It has a lot of fragrance which is something I am really trying to avoid right now. I feel like harsh ingredients like alcohol, fragrance etc. are really stripping on my skin especially my hormonal acne which can really get worse at times. So I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone. But since I have bought it and paid good money for it I don’t wanna throw it either. I think as consumers we should be more responsible about product buying and wastage. So I use it on the rest of my body but will definitely not re-buy it. Phew! That is a long post. If you made it till then end I would love to know what you think about my post and these products. If you didn’t make it till the end I would still love to know when I lost you!

Soothing and moisturizing toner
I love this frudia toner. It is a toner and essence hybrid. Just shake a few drops on to your hands and massage into your skin. The skin will feel so soothed and hydrated. It soaks into the skin so quickly and it works well with other products. This toner is the moisturizing one and frudia has a variety of of other toners such a pore refining. the best moisturizers for this dry winter season
The winter time has arrived and Christmas is just around the corner. The air is colder and drier… and no help to our skin. Here are a few of the best moisturizers- for night and day- to ensure all-day hydration… all found over-the-counter or at a drugstore! Before we begin our list, here are some benefits as to WHY you should moisturize morning and night, no matter your skin type. Firstly, your skin will become less oily. Dehydrated skin leads to overproduction of oil. If your skin is hydrated, it won’t feel the need to produce more ‘moisture’. Another benefit is plumper and brighter skin, which, of course, contributes to the overall youthful, glowy skin that everyone desires. Dry skin can also lead to itchiness, so moisture is key to prevent irritation. Hydration is also key for a smoother makeup application. The key ingredient in all moisturizers is hyaluronic acid- if you don’t see it listed, don’t bother buying it. Personally I also prefer fragrance-free. Make sure to always use a moisturizer with SPF in the morning, or at least use sunscreen over your moisturizer. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This is my all time favorite night cream. I have been using it for years and swear by it. You really can’t go wrong with CeraVe and this cream is everything it claims to be- ultra-lightweight, insanely hydrating, and oil-free. Perfect for acne-prone individuals like myself. Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel MoisturizerI feel like this gel-cream product has gotten a lot of hype recently, and rightfully so! Glycerin and HA are the perfect combo and your skin will drink it up. It’s also non-comedogenic and alcohol-free. VANICREAM - Moisturizing Skin CreamThis cream is recommended for extremely dry and sensitive skin. You’ll also find ceramides in this product, which are found in the phospholipid bilayer cell membrane. Meaning, if you find ceramides listed amongst the ingredients, it will help reinforce the skin’s barrier (ahem, cell membranes). LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30For acne-prone skin, generally oil-free is the way to go. Also known as non-comedogenic, oil-free moisturizers won’t clog your pores. La Roche-Posay has many great products for acne-prone skin, and I use quite a few myself. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 I wanted to throw in a moisturizer with SPF (one I’m currently using, actually). This moisturizer is oil-free, made with soy extract, and paraben-free. It has SPF 30 and has little tiny sparkles that make your skin glow after application. It also works great under makeup. I hope this list helps, as these are some of my favorites. My top brands for moisturizers are CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, and Cetaphil. Serums are also a great option (REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum). Don’t forget to moisturize those lips too (I use Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original every night)! And finally, remember to stay healthy and hydrated during this holiday season. --------------------------------------------- Thank you for giving my post a read! Iam excited to share my thoughts on topics I am passionate about. :) LG, Louisa

Why I Love the Q10 From Inkey
Helllooooo! So, I am on my third bottle now. These look super tiny, but they last quite a long time! The q10 serum is an antioxidant that pretects the skin against environmental stressors, & fine lines. It contains ingredients such as glycerin, squalene, hyaluronic acid and peptides. One of the reasons on why this has become a product I can’t live without is because after I apply my niacinamide from TO (which is known to be slightly sticky), I apply this serum and the sticky feeing goes away. I always feel plump and refreshed after applying this serum as well, and it is fast absorbing. Benefit for me because I really have no damn patience 😂 I 100,000% recommend this serum to anyone who is looking for an antioxidant to incorporate into their routine!!! THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum

Let’s talk skin care for mature skin
Ok... so I have mature skin and these are a few gems I have found that have helped keep the aging process at bay!!! CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is simply amazing!!! It quenches my skin and has repaired my skin barrier. I use this at night as my last step. Wake up with supple and soft skin. This is great as a hand cream as well!!! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I use this 2x a week. I love it!!! Chemical exfoliation is amazing and effective. My skin tolerates this well, so I leave it on the full 10 minutes. I follow up with my moisturizers. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my go too!! I love that it isn’t sticky and absorbs well into my skin. This is always a staple in my AM and PM routine. Follow this with a moisturizer. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum I love this. This is a little thicker than other serums, but this is great for aging skin. This is part of my PM routine as a final step before my moisturizer. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other night on the nights I do NOT use the peeling solution. This is great for aging skin as well. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane this is my other go to opposite the buffet solution. As always I follow with moisturizer. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG this is my go to for my eyes in AM. Gives added energy to tired aging eyes!! Love love love this!!!! The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this a few times a week. I tend to use this in the AM so it does not counter the other acids I apply at night. It is great after my shower. I allow my skin to set and dry for 5-7 minutes before applying my serums in my routine. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream this is my morning moisturizer. I love it! Provides the perfect amount of hydration without the heaviness. Lays beautifully underneath my makeup.

Anti oxidant moisturizer
The Inkey List is one of my favourite brands as they are an ethical brand with a huge variety of great products. All there products focus on one key ingredient to target a skin concern. They also make it easy to know what product to use with their skin quiz on their website. Packaging: The inkey list have nice clean and gender neutral packaging of black and white. Effectiveness: This moisturizer has turmeric which is a great natural antioxidant. Unlike many products with turmeric this doesn’t have a yellow hue that can stain the skin. This is a rich and occlusive cream. THE inkey LIST - Turmeric Brightening Moisturizer I have enjoyed this product but I likely won’t re-buy as I have found products I enjoy more. The reasons I deducted a star is that I don’t enjoy the natural smell (no fragrance) and this products might not work for acne prone people as it has some comedogenic ingredients. I have dry acne prone skin but I never had any breakouts.

The Best of the Best I swear! I ran out of face masks and decided to try out one from my favorite brand:The Inkey List Kaolin Mask. I ❤️ all the products I’ve tried from them so far and this one did it’s job too. I so so so love products that work and don’t just have pretty dispensers. The kaolin mask is for improving skin impurities and unclogging pores...just what I need right now! I for some reason keep forgetting to get the caffeinated eye serum from this line, I know it will be a wonder serum. This brand just simply does not disappoint. They spend less time on designing packaging and more time make the actual product be worth all the little money. THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner THE inkey LIST - Turmeric Brightening Moisturizer THE inkey LIST - Kaolin Clay Mask THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum

Which Paula’s Choice SPF is right for you?
NOTE 1: this does not include every single SPF from Paula’s Choice. This is simply the SPFs that I own from them. NOTE 2: By posting this, I do not condone the past racist actions by Paula’s Choice and their lack of shades for medium and dark skin tones. My skin type is sensitive combination dry and acne prone. Review: Hello!! I thought today I would take you through the different textures and my thoughts on these Paula’s Choice Sunscreens. I own 3 different formulas at the moment, and I like them all but for different reasons. 1. Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 (mineral formula): PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 Target: combination, normal/oily skin. Purpose: Sun Protection & anti-aging. Texture: thick, somewhat mattifies the skin, leaves a light tint to the skin (not for medium or dark skin tones). Reapplies very nicely. No sunscreen scent. Includes the antioxidant resveratrol (anti aging and skin healing). I have dry skin, but I combat this formula’s matte effect by applying this after I apply a facial oil in my AM routine. It’s $33 for 2oz. I’d recommend this if you have oily skin for daily use. My rating is 4/5 because I wish they offered this for medium and dark skin tones. 2. Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 (chemical formula)PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Target: normal, combination skin. Purpose: sun protection + anti-aging. Texture: incredibly lightweight/watery formula, no tint or white cast. Dewier finish. Reapplies without any issues. Light sunscreen scent. Includes “soothing plant extracts.” I have to use this after a pretty basic routine—chemical sunscreens often irritate my skin so that means no other actives are allowed in my AM routine. It’s $33 for 2oz. I’d recommend this for all skin types, except super sensitive. My rating is 4/5 because the chemical formula forces me to have a basic AM routine. 3. Ultra-Light Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 30+ (chemical formula): PAULA'S CHOICE - Ultra-Light Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 30+ Target: blemish-prone skin. Purpose: sun protection + minimize pores. Texture: super lightweight (similar to the youth-extending), no tint or white cast left behind. Dewier finish. Reapplies magically! More heavy sunscreen scent. It’s a basic formula so it doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts for sensitive skin. This allows me to use my usual AM routine, no burning even though it’s a chemical formula. It’s $33 for 2oz. I’d recommend this for all skin types, but especially acne-prone and/or sensitive! My rating is 4/5 because of the heavy sunscreen scent! Long story short: I really like these formulas but all for different reasons. Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? #CheriePartner

Sunscreen Is Always and Forever
Sunscreen is an essential part of any skincare routine. It is the number one proven preventative treatment for anti-aging. The sun’s rays, most specifically UVA and UVB, are damaging to our skin. They cause free radical damage, something that plays a role in collagen breakdown and inflammation; two things that are super important to pay attention to when talking about anti-aging. Plus, those rays exist in all weather, rain or shine, so sunscreen is a must! Sunscreen is also one of the first steps in treating hyperpigmentation! The sun activates our melanin production, like a tan. This over-production is exaggerated whenever we experience trauma to the skin, like a cut or a blemish. With those of us who have more melanin, we are more likely to produce stronger hyperpigmentation. With the use of sunscreen, we can help the fading time of hyperpigmentation to speed up! As a sunscreen lover myself, I have a few favorites, the one that will always have my heart year-round are: Krave - The Beet Shieldis a chemical sunscreen with SPF 50. Packed with a lot of soothing ingredients! Sits amazingly under makeup too! PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluidis a chemical sunscreen with SPF 50. Packed with tons of hydrating ingredients and antioxidants. This can replace your moisturizer in warmer months! Something I only like reaching for when it’s warmer is the PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30It is tinted and leaves a silky matte finish on the skin. Some that I have my eyes on to try next include Black Girl Sunscreen. It has been deemed better for drier skin types year-round or if you lean oily, it is great for the colder weather. It is known for its beautiful glowy finish! Another one I have my eyes on that has been getting incredible reviews, that can be used year-round, is the Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence by Keep Cool. Regardless of your choice, if it works for you, that’s the sunscreen that matters!

My favourite day eye cream
This is one of the 3 eye creams by versed. I love this brand as it is cruelty free and focused of eco sustainability. Their website provides clear recycling info as well as stating how much of their packaging is made of recycled plastic. Packaging: I like versed cute and colourful packaging. The tub makes it easy to apply the product. Price: Versed is an affordable brand that provides excellent products. $23.99 CAD FOR .5oz might seem steep but for an eye cream it is affordable and it’s will last months. Texture: This is a nice light cream/gel (see the second picture) that is hydrating and easily absorbed. It provides the needed moisture to provide a nice plumpness without being overly heavy. It also has a nice shimmer that brightens the eye area which is great to daytime. VERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream I have noticed that my eye area feels soft and plump which is exactly what I want in an eye cream.

Post Accutane Night Time Skin Care Routine
Post Accutane Night Time Skin Care Routine
While on accutane I had a very simple skincare routine to allow the medication to do its thing. I’m 7 months post Accutane, and my face is still pimple free. Yay! My skin care concerns at this time is discoloration/dark spots and minimal scarring on one of my cheeks. In this routine I am using the Fresh Soy cleanser to cleanse. It’s so important to make sure you’re thoroughly cleansing your face so that the remaining products can properly penetrate the skin. I use esthetician Nayamka Roberts-Smith (@LABeautyologist)’s 60 second rule when cleansing. Cleansing your face with your fingers for 60 sec allows the cleanser ingredients to do their job. This method helps to soften the skin & dissolve sebum blockages a lot better. I then follow up with applying a hydrating toner (Laniege Cream Skin toner and moisturizer) to my face with my hands. Then 2-3x a week I go in with the exfoliating serum ( The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid 10% + HA serum) to minimize texture and uneven skin tone. Mandelic acid is gentle and works great on hyperpigmentation on people with deeper skin tones. To end it all off, I use the Kate Somerville recovery cream. ⚡️EXFOLIATION NIGHT ROUTINE⚡️
⚡️EXFOLIATION NIGHT ROUTINE⚡️
On Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I exfoliate!! Monday nights are the days I apply my retinol, while Thursday and Saturday I use my regular chemical exfoliant ✨ 🌿CLEANSER- Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I LOVE this cleanser! I have combination-oily skin, but recently I’ve been trying to hydrate my skin more and it’s done WONDERS for my oil production! This cleanser is not stripping at all and leaves my skin soft and hydrated! ⚡️EXFOLIATOR- 💙RETINOL (Monday’s)- DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel I’ve been prescribed this by my doctor about a year ago and saw a huge difference with my acne. I just started using it again, and I forgot how much it helps. The only con is that I forget how drying and irritating it can be. Once a week is a good spot for me right now at this dosage. ☕️CHEMICAL- YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner This is my first chemical exfoliator and it’s lasting me a longgg time. I enjoy using this as it’s very good at deep cleansing my pores and getting extra dirt out of them. It has a ‘natural’ smell, aka not an amazing one. But still gets the job done! 💧SERUMS- ☁️The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I LOVE THIS it’s absolutely amazing at controlling my oil production and evening out my skin!!! I will say though, I haven’t noticed it help with my acne, but I don’t believe niacinamide is supposed to treat acne. 🌊The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5Just started using this, so can’t really rate it. But I love hyaluronic acid serums so I’m sure it’ll be great :) 💦FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum this could be so good, but I’ve noticed that it burns my face, especially my cheeks when I apply it. Shame. 👀 EYE SERUM- The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I’ve struggled my whole teenage life with bags under my eyes. It seemed as if it didn’t matter how much sleep I got, I was always puffy and baggy. This is helping reduce the bags so much!! Bless the ordinary 🐘MOISTURIZER- DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream I have been using this for about 2.5 weeks, and i just love the look and feel of my skin after I use it and when I wake up in the morning. It’s plump and hydrated 👄LIPS- LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask this is only 3 stars because honestly I get the same results if I put on carmex before bed. It’s a nice experience with the spatula applicator and everything, but it’s not worth the money.

AM SKINCARE ROUTINE✨
AM SKINCARE ROUTINE✨
Hi guys! i’m back again to show you all my morning routine! i’ve been using my morning routine for awhile now and it’s been really good on my skin! Here’s the products!! THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash I commented on this product on my PM skin care routine and i just wanna do a little add on to what i’ve noticed. After washing my face with this, it does feel a bit dry after so keep that into consideration. TOWER 28 - SOS Save.Our.Skin Daily Rescue Facial Spray I’ve used this for awhile now and i’ve noticed absolutely nothing lmaoooo. i mean it’s a bit hydrating don’t get me wrong and it also didn’t irritate my skin which is good too but i didn’t notice anything if i’m being completely honest. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Multivitamin Booster I really like this serum! i usually use it by itself but you can also put it in your moisturizer for a good boost also. It is really hydrating and I’ve noticed that it helped some of my scaring since my skin gets all scabby and it helped smooth it out. Definitely would recommend if you have sensitive or dry skin!! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I also love this product a lot! my skin looks brighter and my acne looks a lot better when i use this product. My only problem is when i use this and i rub it in and it kinda makes this white foam on my face, maybe it’s my cleanser? i’m not sure but i do really love this. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Now i think this is my fav moisturizer ever. Trust me, I’ve tried so many moisturizer that just haven’t suited my skin, but this product really worked. It’s simple but effective, amazing texture, very moisturizing and i think good for all skin types. I will continue to purchase this product!!! The Ordinary - "B" Oil this product is also one of my favs!! i usually mix it into the moisturizer and it feels very nice on the skin! it also helped make my skin brighter and clear some of my acne scars!!! I also use this under makeup too for a nice deep natural look!! this is another product that i’ll repurchase again and again! I also use a stick sunscreen to protect my skin from the sun!! If you guys have any recommendations i will gladly consider!! Thank you✨✨✨

the time has come... REVIEW MY ROUTINE!
the time has come... REVIEW MY ROUTINE!
hey Cherie fam! i finally decided it was time to post my daily/weekly routine!! i’ve curated this routine over a looooong period of time, and i think i’ve almost got it right! so here it is: TWICE DAILY: i like to double cleanse, so i always start with the FATCO - Cleansing Oil for Normal/Combo Skin i’ve used this oil on and off for the last few years, and i’ve really been loving it lately! it moisturizes and helps remove makeup, dirt, and any oils my skin has produced during the day. then i go with my Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser i like this cleanser a lot because i feel like it actually cleanses my skin, unlike a lot of cleansers i’ve tried that only feel like they’re cleaning the top layer of my skin. this one gets deep! next, i use a few drops of the no b.s. - Vitamin C + E Serum i really like this serum because i feel like it’s helped even out my skin tone and texture and it doesn’t take forever to soak into my skin! as the packaging recommends, i leave this to sit for about 5 minute for moving on to my next step. however, during those 5 minutes, i’ll apply my VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel this is the FIRST under eye product i’ve ever used that REALLY WORKS to get rid of my dark circles!! magic in a tube if you ask me. after those 5 minutes have passed, i’ll use 3-5 spritzes of the INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner this is the newest product in my routine, but i’m in LOVE! i’ve been looking for a great toner for a while now, and this one, which happened to be a gift, is so great! it moisturizes and sets my skin without leaving me feeling stripped or sticky. finally, i moisturize with my all time fave: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer this moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated without being sticky or oily. i would highly recommend for those with dry, tires skin! EVERY MORNING: in the morning, i like to use the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 it’s a really great, really affordable SPF that doesn’t make my skin feel greasy or grimy. ONCE A WEEK: i’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions about The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution , but i’m a fan! i think it leaves my skin feeling great, and not stripped at all which is pretty common for me with most chemical exfoliants. i usually use this peel after cleansing, but before the rest of my routine. so, what do you think?? i’d love to hear your compliments, comments, and critiques on my routine.
