My FAV Foundation for my Skin #CheriePartner
Hey Y’all! So I don’t wear foundation often but when I do I only go for two different ones. Which is The Fenty Foundation (dewy formula) or NYX - Total Control Drop Foundation which is what I’ll be talking about today! 🤎 When looking for a foundation I usually always go for a dewy look. I’m not a huge fan of matte anything. The thing I like about the Total Control drop foundation is that it’s soft matte but can be easily manipulated to give a more dewy look. 🤎 I love the Total Control drop foundation simply because a little goes a long way! I have sensitive combination skin and foundation tends to irritate it. But with this foundation I have found solace! It goes on super smooth and I only need a few drops. I usually go for light coverage as you can see from the pictures. The dropper definitely helps in controlling how much foundation you need. 🤎 Another great thing is that NYX is super affordable and the same applies to this foundation! It’s only about $14 and because you only need a little it lasts for quite a while. I’ve had this bottle for about 6 months and it’s still has a lot! 🤎 When applying the foundation I simply put 1-2 drops on the back of my hand and take NYX - Holographic Halo Liquid Highlighting Brush and dip it in the foundation and just buff it over my skin. I like this brush but I don’t love it. I know it’s a highlighter brush but I just haven’t found a foundation brush that cuts it for me. I would love some suggestions if you guys have some! 🤎 After buffing out the foundation with the brush I take a beauty blender and dip it in the foundation as well to cover any spots I miss. Then I spray the beauty blender with NYX - Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray and just blend out a little more this helps add a little bit of a dewy sheen to the foundation. I absolutely love the Dewy Finish setting spray it gives me everything I’m looking for! ✨ In conclusion this foundation is really good and it helps blur out imperfections and has a very buildable formula so it works anywhere from light to full coverage! You can leave it as a soft matte as is or add a nice setting spray to give you any look you desire! ✨I’d love to hear your tips and tricks on foundation and good foundation brush recommendations! ✨ BESOS 😘
Beauty blender dupes ✨
The first makeup sponge I used was the beauty blender pro sponge. I loved it so much. I used it every single day to blend my foundations, blushes, and powders. After using it so much it started looking old and I realized I definitely didn’t want to spend $20 for a sponge. I started trying out so many affordable ones and lots of them didn’t work until... Real techniques miracle complexion sponge, when it’s dry it feels slightly stiff but still nice and soft to the touch. When you wet it it becomes super soft. It blends my foundation very well, similar to the beauty blender at a 1/3 of the price! One of my favorite sponges so far! $5.99 and I’ve found these at marshalls and tj maxx for about $3-4! REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Hank & Henry midori sponge set, I got this sponge set in my boxycharm and I really like it. The set had the large and small sponge. Slighter stiffer than the real techniques but a nice sponge. The small one is perfect for blending on the inner corners or any hard to reach area. The large sponge gets HUGE when it’s wet, great for apply blush in my opinion and anything you want. Even if it’s kinda stiff this is still very soft. Unfortunately online they’re sold separately $14.00 for the large sponge and $9.00 for the small one. HANK & HENRY - Midori Bundle Miss A AOA studio super soft wonder blender, one of the best really affordable sponges I’ve tried. It’s really soft and blends like a dream. Very very slight stiffness when dry but super soft when wet. Haven’t had any problems with this one. $1.55! I didn’t have mines with me so I attached a picture of it. AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender Last and definitely not least the original beauty blender in pro, super soft to the touch and incredible at blending. The hype is real. $20 beautyblender - Pro If you want to spend $20 every few months then this sponge is worth it, super great! If you’re like me that prefers a more affordable one than these options are great as well. These all feel great on the skin, blend your makeup and at the end of my makeup routine I’ve found that these all look very similar and almost identical to each other. ☺️✨
Makeup is flawless perfection with these brushes
These are some of favourite face brushes!! 😍❤️ I am a huge fan of beauty tools and no exception for makeup tools!! I have these face brushes that I absolutely love and makeup application with these is much more flawless and smooth. Good quality brushes are so important for blending seamlessly and I have learned to blend without sweating with these extremely soft bristle brushes!! I wish you could extend your hand touch these, feel how soft these bristles are! 😍 I think that is what makes them super fabulous in makeup! Every product cream or powder blends to perfection with these brushes! I don't like cakey finishes and stripey looks to makeup, and these brushes make it so easy for me! Also, all of them have very sterdy, heavy handles (heavy enough to keep the balance) to hold well and that helps in keeping the balance and pressure while applying makeup. I have many other brushes that I have used in the past and thought they're the best quality before I found these! ❤️ The brushes showed in picture are : @luxiebrushes - The best of the best!! My Favorite Setting Powder Right Now.
Out of all my setting powders, I find myself reaching for Anastasia Setting Powder in “Banana” a lot lately. I am very dry so I have to careful with baking but I love the way my face looks with it. This powder brightens me up fast without making me super dry! I recommend leaving it on for only a couple mins if you are more on the dry side. Retailing for $36 for 0.9 OZ isn’t bad at all, I have had mine last me over 5 months. It’s light weight, superfine, and comes in 4 shades. It also has a blurring effect, and I personally love the finish it gives after I set it when my M.A.C. fix plus setting spray. Vegan. Cruelty free 🤍

Genius Setting Powder Hacks Your Makeup Needs🖤
Ole sisters!! 🔥 Is setting powder necessary? The answer is YES! Setting powder is Low-Key the Superhero of Your Makeup Collection. Your makeup look is about to be locked and loaded. Setting powder sets our foundation and makes it last. It can make the skin texture seem finer, as it makes the pores look smaller. Last, but not least, setting powder removes the stickiness created by foundation or concealer... This is why we should be using setting powder. laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder ( 29g ) £32.00 ✔️My Honest Review: It looks so natural on every makeup product, even on natural skin. No flashbacks, no buff needed, perfect for baking, no odd smell and doesn't leave any residue on the face. The best powder ever totally deserves the money. If you are interested in investing in a good face powder you should consider this one. Since last time I posted multiple use ways of lipsticks. I seem to addicted to "One Object with Multiplepurposes" topic LOL ! So this time I will also share other unexpected ways of using setting powder~ Set your eyeliner with translucent setting powder. Make your matte lipstick last longer with translucent setting powder. Volumize thin lashes with mascara and pressed translucent powder. Dust setting powder under your eyes to catch any excess eyeshadow. Reduce shine on your eyelids with concealer and translucent powder. Substitute dry shampoo with setting powder. Reduce sweating or chaffing on your hands and feet with translucent powder. (wink 😉 Will be a littile busy this week, comment below if you have any questions, I'll reply upon I read it, and I will appreciate it if you cheer this post. HEHEHE see you until next time!

Brush vs Puff, which is the best to apply foundation?
As the saying goes, strong horse with strong saddle. If you want a flawless finish look, a good foundation is not the only concern. You should also care about the proper applicator to achieve 1+1>2. Maybe most of you will think of sponges when talking about foundation applicator, but for me, sponges always waste much of my pricy foundation, so I prefer other tools. Brush and puff are my prior choices. Shu uemura’s petal 55 foundation brush is my fav foundation brush. Since I have Sulwhasoo’s (a well-known k-beauty brand) perfecting cushion, I find the puff in it very easy to use. I will tell the difference of the two applicators in this review. As for the price first, shu uemura’s brush cost me $64, which is super expensive for a makeup tool. Sulwhasoo doesn’t cost me as it was a complimentary of the cushion. They’re both very soft and the water-absorbing quality are both very good. The brush has a unique hexagon shape and the puff is a circle. When I apply the foundation on my face, I will firstly use the brush to blend it and then use the puff to cover the nose, undereye areas and jaw areas. They could both give me a smooth, even, poreless coverage and flawless finish without wasting extra foundation. I love both of them since the brush could help applying the foundation easily on my skin while reduing application time; the puff could give me a smooth stoke from the margins. This pair leaves no stroking streaks for me. Also, they free me from the worry of makeup dropping! I love add a little water to the bristle to make the foundation more easy to blend, also more lightweight. Although the brush cost much, I still think it worth that price. I will rate it 5 stars. If you’re looking for an applicator while don’t care about the price, petal 55 should be your first choice.
Do You Need a Setting Powder Brush? YES!
It is summer where I am at and ensuring the day make-up stays on all day can be a feat. Thanks to setting powder, my make-up can stay intact all day, combating against humidity and natural oils. The travel-friendly e.l.f. Retractable Kabuki Brush is a great brush that I wil recommend to anyone who is looking to use as a setting powder brush. The price is great – at USD6! I also like that the brand is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. The soft nylon bristles make it easy to apply and blend product flawlessly for coverage, especially with its rounded shape. While I don’t fancy the feel of the plastic retractable head and handle, the retractable function makes it easy for a more controlled use and mess-free storage, especially in our purses when we bring it out. Some brushes can pick up too much powder in one go, which can be wasteful and annoying. This kabuki brush picks up just the right amount of powder. With a gentle tap, it dusts away excess powder and leave an appropriate amount for dusting all over the face. I also multi-use this brush for my blush and bronzer. For the low price of USD6, this kabuki brush is a wonderful entry-level brush to have, especially in small purses for quick touch-ups outside.
