Affordable Eye Cream
Benton Fermentation Eye Cream This is the most affordable and effective eye cream I have ever came across. It is a very basic and simple eye cream. It has a minimal ingredient list and contains no fragrance. The main reason why I like this eye cream is because it simply hydrates and moisturises my eyes. It feels very comfortable and gentle. The initial consistency is on the heavier side. But, once it starts to absorb into your skin, it transforms into a lighter consistency. However, this eye cream will not prevent dark circles or reduce fine lines. It is a ‘no frills’ eye cream that provides a boost of hydration.

Night Routine: Eye Sleeping Mask
Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask My eye zone situation is very complicated. My eye lids are oily and easily gets puffy. My under eyes are so dry and dehydrated. I usually have experience a lot flakiness and, prone to milia. Also, I naturally have sunken eye bags. I know ‘eye bags’ and ‘dark circles’ are almost impossible to get rid off or treat so instead, I just focus on hydration and sleep. This lovely eye sleeping mask by Glow Recipe is formulated with avocado and encapsulated retinol. The texture is creamy and slightly buttery. The consistency is not too light or heavy - just right in between. I love how this gives my eyes a burst of hydration without feeling heavy. Not only does it hydrates but, it moisturises at same time. You only need a pea size amount or less because a little goes a long way. It feels very gentle and comfortable. I didn’t experience any type of irritation and most importantly it did not cause milia. This eye mask is really good for filling in the fine lines and reducing overnight puffiness. My overall under eye area looks a lot more smooth and firm. However, I didn’t notice a significant difference with my dark circles. It has a slight scent but, it is barely noticeable and dissipates once fully absorbed.

[Review] Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb
Key Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Photosqualane, Sodium Hyaluronate Firstly, this moisturiser does not contain any fragrance or essential oils! I get overly excited when I come across k-beauty products that are fragrance free This is a basic gel moisturiser. The consistency is lightweight and quite liquidity. It absorbed into my skin immediately without leaving any sticky or tacky feeling. It spreads effortlessly across my face so, there is no need to constantly tap the product into my skin. It also layers well under other products and I had no problems with pilling. Overall, it feels gentle and comfortable on the skin. When I first applied this on my skin, it felt so soothing and cooling. My skin instantly felt so hydrated and refreshed. It leaves a nice dewy finish. Most importantly, the hydration is long lasting and it moisturises at the same time. Also, my t-zone did not look shiny by the end of the day. Personally, I feel like this cream is more suitable for the AM and for those with combination and dehydrated skin types. This might be a little too thin or light for when my skin is feeling extremely dry, especially during winter time. However, this is one those basic and simple moisturisers where you can play around with it and somehow make it work for your skin type. I applied a generous amount (2 layers) and I found it to be moisturising enough to be used as a night cream. Since, it layers well under other products, I also like to add a few drops of my fave oils into it. Overall, I really like this gel cream and it is well suited for my combination and dehydrated skin. I love the simplicity and the minimal ingredient list. It is comparable to my all time favourite ‘Dr G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream’ except, this one is half the price ($30 AUD/100ml). So, I think I may have found a cheaper alternative 🙈 Kindly gifted by @bonajour_global / Purchase at Amazon or Yesstyle
BONAJOUR-Green Tea Water Bomb Cream
All Green Tea-rouble-away Toner
Key Ingredients •83% Green tea water sourced from Jeju Island •Plant-derived AHA & PHA •6 Sprout Extracts (Wheat Germ, Brocolli, Cabbage leaf, Alfalfa Radish & Rapseed) Benefits: A rich and nourishing formula to soothe, balance and revitalise stressed skin. As well as, to gently exfoliate and resurface the skin. Firstly, this does not contain any fragrance or essential oils! I get overly excited when I come across k-beauty products that contain no fragrance. The consistency is on the thicker side and quite viscous (similar to an essence consistency) and, is light brownish in colour. It absorbed into skin within seconds despite the viscosity. There is no tacky feeling and, it layers well under other products. I like how it instantly soften and plumped up my skin. It provides a quick boost of hydration however, the hydration is not long lasting. My skin did feel a little tight afterwards. Overall, it did a great job at prepping my skin for the next steps in my routine. This toner provides a very mild and gentle type of exfoliation. I felt no tingling sensation and it did not feel irritating in any sort of way. I find that it does exfoliate my skin effectively if I use it daily. Since, it is so gentle and uses plant derived AHA and PHA, the results are much slower compared to straight AHA products. Which I don’t mind because I know I will reach out for this toner on days where my skin is feeling sensitive. It does a wonderful job at controlling excess sebum. My t-zone did not look shiny at all by the end of the day so, I didn’t need to blot or touch up. The toner also helped with the healing process of my active pimples. I noticed that pimples appeared less red and aggressive after consistent use. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience using this toner. I like how gentle and effective it felt on my skin. My overall skin texture and complexion looked a lot smoother and radiant. Also, a big thumbs for not containing any fragrance and essential oils. Mothermade uploaded a blog post on their website about Botanical AHA. Basically, It’s quite interesting and worth reading! Thank you @mothermade for selecting me to be one of the reviewers.

My Favourite AM Eye Cream
[Review] Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream This is my favourite eye cream for the AM especially, when I am wearing eye makeup. I love the unique silk balm texture. It reminds me of a makeup primer. It is smooth, silky and melts into your skin so effortlessly. For me, this is in between an eye cream and primer. What I like most about this eye cream is that, it really helped with filling in my fine lines and dry patches. My under eyes looked more plump, smooth and less ‘sunken’ in. It created the illusion of the blurred out filter look. I also like how it provided the right amount of hydration. It felt very comfortable and weightless. This is one of the few eye cream that actually sits well under concealer. It blends so well and I had no problems with pilling. Also, works great as an eyeshadow primer. I noticed that my eyeshadow applies more smoothly, the colour pigment is a lot better and lasted longer. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream

My Holy Grail Mascara
[Review] Kiss Me Waterproof Lengthening and Curling Mascara This is the BEST mascara I have ever used and it definitely lived up to it’s hype. I have super straight asian lashes and oily eyelids. This is the only mascara that actually holds my curls for the entire day or night. I love how it nicely separates each individual lash. It does a great job at adding length and volume. It is natural but buildable. This mascara never caused any clumping or spidery looking lashes. It is super waterproof and never smudges. There is no such thing as panda or raccoon eyes. The only downside is that it is very difficult to remove 😅 But, I do recommend either the ‘Bifesta Eye and Lip Remover’ or ‘Nivea Daily Essentials Doubel Effect Eye Makeup Remover’ both removes waterproof makeup effortlessly.

Does anyone else get sucked in by beautiful packaging? I couldn’t resist picking up tatcha’s Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream. Tatcha always nails their packaging and this little gem is even more gorgeous in person. To be fair, I was in the market for a new eye cream. The fact that it looks good on my vanity is just a bonus. — Aesthetics aside, this eye cream is aptly named. It truly does melt right into the skin. The texture is thicker and more balm-like than I expected, but it doesn’t feel heavy at all. This cream goes on so smoothly and plays well with most concealers, which makes it the perfect daytime product. As someone with super dry skin though, I prefer an eye cream that is a bit richer for nighttime. I’ve been using this in combination with Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream - a match made in heaven! ✨

Laneige gifted their new cica sleeping mask. This is my new PM best friend. It could be everyones best friend too— its hypoallergenic and can nourish even the most sensitive of skin. This mask works wonders overnight and gives me such a soft and hydrated look/feel. I’m obsessed with this, and honestly sad that Laneige says to use it once or twice a week!

BEST DUO EVER!-Face mask & Primer in 1
I am someone that has dry sensitive & dehydrated skin & I have tried a lot of masks on the market. Half the masks I feel like are such a messy process & its not so conivient to apply. The other half I feel like leave my skin a little irritated & I can’t go on with my day. This Mask is suppose to hydrate & sooth thirsty, stressed-out skin by seeping into your skin cell with all the nutrients in the mask. You instantly get a glow that you can leave the house with! It is rich in chestnut extract, vitamin v, & niacinamide which are all amazing skin health boosting ingredients. As a makeup artist I realized that this mask is PERFECT as a step in your skin prep routine before applying foundation. You can apply a thin even layer onto the skin and let it penetrate into all the dry areas. I wait about 10-15 minutes and take my beauty blending sponge and dab in the product in any areas that the skin didn’t soak up. This leaves the skin so plump dewy & hydrated for a flawless foundation application. If you want to apply this at night, I would apply a visible thicker layer onto cleansed skin & leave on for atlas 15 minutes- I give it until 30 minutes and then wipe off the access & you do not need to rinse. This product has become one of my makeup kit & personal kit favourites.

GAMECHANGER!! Fav makeup tool!!
Tati Beauty Blendiful This product is game changing! This product is a makeup applicator that has a soft textured fabric tool that beautifully blends in makeup products. You can use this makeup applicator to apply both liquid and powder products. You can also use this product to apply makeup products in hard to reach areas of the face. The blendiful comes with two different applicators. One big blendiful and one baby blendiful. The bigger blendiful is a lot smaller, but they both beautifully apply products! I have been using this for a month now and I love it! It is super easy to use and can be used for so many different things. Personally, I love to use this to apply my foundation, concealer and my setting powder. It makes my skin look super airbrushed and flawless. I would definitely recommend this product to others. The two applicators retail for $18. I think it is super worth the price since it comes with two applicators and they are reusable!

What’s in your bag?
What do you absolutely have to take everywhere with you? I take my Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mini, Chanel Egg(Always) Kosas Lipstick, Carmex, & Saint Jane Beauty Gloss. I’m just going to be honest here, I don’t know what was going on with my skin when I first used Jet Lag but I remember it exceptionally burning. I’ve used it consecutively for 4 weeks now, everyday, a light layer over my whole face, extra thick layers under my eyes before bed, and here’s a tip* Use a light layer as a hand cream, it’s amazing. I do see a difference, especially under my eyes. For me using something so thick and hydrating would normally break me out but I think this doesn’t because it’s clean. When Marianna & Lauren decided to found Summer Friday’s, Lauren was pregnant and had a list of chemicals she could not use. They decided to make these products clean because, if you shouldn’t use them when your pregnant you obviously shouldn’t use them in day to day life. They are about to launch a new product and I’m so excited. What is a must have you always carry in your bag? Do you like Summer Friday’s Products? SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask
