Recreating the Princess Diana Look 👸🏼
Hello everyone! I’m not sure about you, but I’ve recently become very interested in Princess Diana since Netflix has added the new season of The Crown and released a documentary about her. After learning more about who she was, she no longer is JUST a Princess to me, but also an independent, well-established woman who was not given near the credit she deserved for her many great qualities when she was alive. While I watched the documentary, I noticed how much I liked her makeup and that got me wondering if I could recreate her look. After doing some research, I found out that Princess Di actually wore bright blue or purple eyeliner on her waterline and this made her eyes pop. I decided being the also fair complected individual that I was to try to figure out her look. I found a little guide on her makeup online that you will see above ⬆️. Though many of the products on this list were either from the 80s or 90s, I did my best to use the products I have to give off the same look. In the picture above I am wearing Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in storm on the apples of my cheeks, Glossier. - Boy Brow in brown on my eyebrows to give the natural fluffy look they did in the 80/90s, ULTA BEAUTY - Gel Eyeliner Pencil in peacock (this is not the brightest eyeliner, but it’s all I had) it’s a blue/green liner and it definitely makes my eyes pop. For my lashes I used appleBiotic - Super Lash Mascara to achieve long black lashes like hers, MAKE UP FOR EVER - Rouge Artist Lipstick , and lastly NYX - Butter Gloss over the lipstick to have a red shiny lip look. Btw, what I did to my hair to make it have the swoop look that she had was to pin it to the side opposite of my part, clip my hair back and up to have a bit of a poof look, and flipped the ends of my hair with a straightener! ✨

What I Purchased During Sephora’s Holiday Sale
The most wonderful time of the year brings about Sephora’s Holiday Sale. For anyone who may not know about it, it’s just like the Sephora spring sale where depending on your BeautyInsider status, you get a certain percentage off of anything you buy (there are a few exceptions). Rouge status gets 20% off and early access 10/30 VIB status gets 15% off and early access 11/3 Insider status gets 10% off and regular access 11/5 Here’s what I picked this holiday season: FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - finally decided to try this based on the hype and man o man this did not disappoint! It smells stupid good, has a buttery consistency and is not the least bit sticky, and the colors are just gorgeous. I picked up Fenty Glow and loved it so much that I went back and got the color Fu$$y too! Buy it! Needless to say I just had to buy the new Fenty Glossy Posse Holoidaze edition which is four new mini gloss bombs. Did I tell you I have a problem with this gloss? I’m addicted. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Powder - I’ve wanted to try this for a while and so far so good. They are very subtle powders that are finely milled and have the slightest amount of reflecting particles in it. I like to use this on “less is more” make-up days: BB cream and this powder, paired with a brow gel and lip balm and BOOM - I woke up like this 🎶 HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder - I’ve been in the market for a new setting powder for quite sometime. I had been using the Coty Airspun and really only using it to set my under eye concealer, but aside from the fact that there is talc in (trying to cut that out as much as possible) I found that it was not fine enough and would cake in my creases. This is so light and soft and works well for a light touch-up during the day. HOURGLASS - Arch Brow Shaping Gel- I haven’t actually used this, but I have high hopes based on reviews. My brows are really the most important part of my “getting ready” routine, but sometimes I don’t want to do a fully filled in brow and I want something easy and not as time consuming (I extremely detailed with my brows). I’ll do an update on this when I post my brow products!! Of course I picked up a few refills of some tried and true products that I constantly repurchase (coming soon to a Cherie post near you). belif - Eye Bomb Gwp the best hydrating eye cream that I have ever tried. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil - my favorite brow product of all time. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream - my winter moisturizer. What did you buy with your discount?! Let me know 😻
FAUX FRECKLE ROUTINE ✨
I have natural freckles that come out in the sun. Sometimes when I put foundation over my freckles they go away. This is the routine I use to add some more freckles to my face! Step 1: Over foundation, I apply ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade in ‘Soft Brown’ with an eye brow brush. I apply different pressure on the brush; lightly for smaller freckles, harder for larger freckles. Step 2: Next, I take a foundation sponge and lightly tap over the freckles to blend them in. (You can use your fingertips for this but I find a sponge works best. Step 3: Next, I will lightly go over some freckles with more brow product to get lighter and darker freckles for a more natural look. Step 4: Lastly, I set the face with a setting powder so the freckles last all day. Repeat if necessary. Comment below what method/products you use when applying faux freckles ☺️

Sharpie eyebrows. NO more.
The worst trend ever was overfilling you’re eyebrows to the point it look sharpied on. Fortunately I was born with fuller eyebrows so I really don’t have to use much product to fill mine in. If you are someone with thinner eyebrows I recommend focusing on hair growth (use castor oil) for the long term goal of having fuller brows to avoid the sharpie look. On the yes side all I used was ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil to fill in the bottom line of my eyebrow. That’s it’s. Brushed out and added eyebrow gel to set. Super simple and totally natural. On the no side I used the same pencil to fill in the entire brow border all the way around AND on the inside of the border. This is not it. If you have thinner brows I recommend a product like benefit - Brow Microfilling Eyebrow Pen to help you create “brow-like” strokes your avoid this sharpie brow hot mess. 💋🤍 #cheriepartner

a guide to hooded eyes
here’s some very important do’s and don’ts for those of us with sleepy eyes or bedroom eyes- that i’ve found to get the most playful or sultry looks. 1) always utilise your eye space - bring your eyeshadow all the way up to your brow bone, and then “cut a crease” with a sparkly or dark eyeshadow in your natural fold to make it look like you have more eyelid than you actually do. to make it simpler, here’s your steps: a. primer/concealer b. base color c. crease to brow bone: medium shade d. crease: darkest shade (create a shadow) e. sparkly/bright color on eyelid f. blend! 2) dark colors outside, light colors inside -this creates some gorgeous depth and makes my eyes look sexy and mysterious even with a harshly blended smoky eye. a smoky eye becomes a whole new look for you when you create this kind of shape. 3) BLEND BLEND BLEND -ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS blend your eyeshadow. if you don’t, you look like a 13 year old who got into Momma’s makeup bag. blending the base color into the crease color into your statement shimmer is the best way to make your seamless eye look really pop. 4) don’t be afraid of eyeliner! for the longest time, i was afraid of eyeliner because it would overshadow my eyeshadow and make my eyes look sunken and dark. if you make a nice thin line almost inside your lashes, you can give the illusion of more eyelid. my best tip for wings on hooded eyes is to draw the line first and then do one nice thin line angled towards the end of your eyebrow. then, if you want a thicker (or longer) wing you can work from there. ALSO! Give white crayon eyeliner on your waterline a shot. it give the illusion of bigger eyes, and brightens the white of your eyeball. don’t use liquid eyeliner for this, sh*t STINGS. 5) mascara!! -a good mascara opens your eyes up and makes you look bushy tailed and glamorous. now remember, if the rest of your makeup is low key, you can use a more natural mascara to look enhanced. however, if you have a shimmery smoky eye and cleopatra eyeliner, go big or go home baby! 6) highlight -highlight the inner corner of your eye. it makes your eye look bigger and draws attention across your eyes, making them appear more almond shaped. also, it just looks pretty! happy blending!
Forgot you had a Zoom meeting? Read this NOW!
We all know that moment when we are checking our emails and then we get the last minute notification of a Zoom meeting in 30 mins or worse you forgot that you had a meeting and aren’t ready 😱! There have been times when I come home and have less than an hour to shower, get dressed, and do my makeup! I am free to tell you a step by step quick guide to my version of an easy video call makeup look! This is my guide, with the hope that it helps you out too if you have similar items in your beauty collection! First things first the eyebrows! Sculpted brows make you look put together! I use both benefit - Ka-Brow! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Color with Brush in shade 3.5/4 and ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil in shade chocolate. I have brunette hair and make sure to match my brows with medium brown eyebrow products. The eyebrow gel is a mini version and retails for $14.00 and the ABH pencil is $23.00. Both can be found at either Ulta or Sephora. I use the gel first to outline my natural eye brow shape and then fill in the sparse areas with the pencil! Depending on time, I will occasionally use a setting gel over the final brow look! Next, I use the tarte - Tartelette Flirt Eyeshadow Palette (bottom left shade) over my crease to get a quick but slightly defined eye look! This pallet is $19.00 and has lasted me a very long time for a mjni pallet! Then I use the Kosas - 10-Second Eyeshadow in shade Globe ($28.00) over the entire lid! It truly does try in 10 seconds, which is perfect when you have limited time. Sometimes when I use eyeshadows, I have to go back and clean the fall out. Not here, not today! The next step is the signature cat eye liner using tarte - Maneater Liquid Eyeliner . It’s by far one of the easiest liquid eyeliners to use! One swipe and bam you have your liner look! If you pay close attention you know I love my eyeliner and because I’ve been doing it for so long - I know what a good liner is! This is one I have recommended over and over again. The final part of the eye look is to apply the MARIE DALGAR - Marie Dalgar Fiber Mascara Set . This mascara is amazing and I am in love with the way my lashes look after I swipe two coats over each lash. The last step to the quickest makeup look ever is a swipe of fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 ! You get such a subtle lip look and it appears as if you didn’t spend hours trying to get ready for a meeting! Because this is supposed to be a quick video call look, I personally don’t use any concealer or tint on my face because I have fresh moisturizer on which gives me a natural dewy look! Final message! Remember it’s all about your confidence and how you present yourself to your coworkers and team! Well there you have it, lovies! This is my true quick video conference makeup look! #CheriePartner
😎Wanna get a cool slit eyebrow like this? Just 7 Steps!
Girls with slit eyebrow is soooooo cool! Today I'm gonna teach you how to get a perfect slit eyebrow. Step 1: Tweeze eyebrows and then trim eyebrows with an eyebrow razor. Step 2:-Draw vertical lines on your eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. Step 3: Place of tape parallel to the line for slit eyebrow. Step 4: Shave in between the two pieces of tape. Step 5: Remove the tape for slit eyebrow. Step 6: Repeat this step on other parts of your eyebrows (If you desired). Step 7: Use an eyebrow pencil to outline and use eyebrow powder to fill.
I had microblading done a few years ago and have been trying to grow out my eyebrows so I use boy brow to fill in the spots that have faded or have less hair. I have used many different pencils and powders and none seem to look natural. The powders would melt off a few hours into work, and the pencils looked too severe. I also have long eyebrow hairs and I love that this keeps them in place, since cutting them too short can make them look sparse again 🤦🏼♀️ To use, quickly brush back and forth before securing eyebrow hairs in place. Going against the grain on application keeps you from just having product sitting right on top, and gives eyebrows extra texture and thickness. Also love that you can’t apply this wrong. It’s so easy! Glossier. - Boy Brow #cheriecreator
