BROW BAR By Reema
I managed to score this for 8 CAD at winners, and as fall has rolled around I figured this was the perfect colour! Seeing as I didn’t spend an arm and a leg on this I shouldn’t be as upset as I am that it didn’t work! However, I am.. and here’s why! First off, what I fell in love with 🍁 The colour!!! It goes on darker than it looks, but is sooooo gorgeous, I was getting compliments all day! 🍁 The applicator is really nice! 🍁 I’m awful at applying lipstick (because I was cursed with NO upper lip) but honestly found it easy to apply! It stayed put and really only needed one coat! Sadly, what REALLY didn’t work for me 😒 This wears off so fast! And not in like a normal slowly disappears kind of way, but seems to disintegrate almost? It was the weirdest experience! 😒 This has the worst feeling of any liquid lipstick, it’s grainy, almost feel like you have crusty flour all over your lips! So I guess even though I only have two negative points, each of them are so bad that this is sadly not a redeemable product for me! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick
90s Makeup Pt. 2
I had so much fun making my first look, I had to do a second! Make sure to check that one out, too. This look is much more grungy. It’s inspired by popular celeb looks with worn-in, black-rimmed eyes and dark lipstick. Products I Used & Why: Primer: touch in SOL - No Poreblem Primer Great for smoothing without feeling silicone-y. This is in my October monthly makeup basket. No other reason for choosing Foundation: ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “ST 3 Balos” and PÜR - 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 “porcelain”. I chose these 2 because celebs often wore lighter foundation tones (or orange, but I don’t like that look LOL). The combo of these 2 is still natural but provides medium coverage. The Pür is a bit light for me. Concealer: e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer “light peach”. Celebs often wore concealer that was a little or much lighter to draw attention to their eyes. Eyes: URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion”. I did a thin line on my upper lash line, then used a pencil brush (not sure of brand) to smoke it out kind of messily. Celebs’ liner looked like they’d been wearing it all day (or night) long. I then added a bit more liner at my lash’s roots to intensify the effect. For my spidery lashes I used URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara . I smudged the shade “black” from the LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette with the same pencil brush under my eyes. Since I have hooded eyes, some of the smudged liner did transfer into my crease a bit. I think it adds to the worn-in vibe. Cheeks: KEVYN AUCOIN - The Contour & Highlighter Duo “contour” to lightly sculpt my nonexistent cheekbones and tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in “thrilled” (nude pink) on the upper portion of my cheeks to add a hint of color to my cheeks and lift my cheekbones up. Lips: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick “heathers” for a deep ox blood red pout. Shades of red, burgundy, and brown were also very popular in the 90s to pair with this kind of look! I finished off this look with my hair in a bun to accentuate my makeup. What’s your fave 90s makeup style?! #CheriePartner

Get the Best Brows in Minutes
Don’t worry – you don’t have to be a professional. My brows have certainly never been twins – in fact, they’re barely sisters. I would really classify them as cousins who get along. I say this all because I avoided trying to make them look nice for so long because I felt like I would only fail. Then I found these three products that changed the game for me. I start off by lightly filling in my brows using Brow Bar by Reema in dark. To be honest, I only use the single brown color off to the left, but it matches my medium brown hair wonderfully. I find that it’s very easy to apply, and if I mess up in the slightest, it’s a quick fix. I then go in with my trusty billion dollar brows microblade effect brow pen in dark. When I say this product is dummy-proof, I mean it. The way the felt tip is cut makes it look like your eyebrows are so much more naturally filled. Just a couple swipes of this pen will do the trick, and it’s so easy it makes you wonder why you didn’t try it sooner. I then finish off with Glossier’s Boy Brow to help give shape to the brow hairs. This tool is also pretty fool proof in the application. While I use the brown shade, the clear shade could also do the trick just as well. I’ve never felt less frustrated when doing brows than when I use these three products. While I might not always use them in unison, they all work fantastically on their own. I definitely find that I steer toward Boy Brow more than the other two products, but when I go all out, my brows look clear and crisp.
Makeup Routine for Enlarged Pores & Scaring
Addressing my skin concerns with my makeup is simple with the right products. I have combination skin so my pores are larger in my T-zone, but I also have dryness around my nose. Typically, I aim to address the appearance of my pores when doing my makeup. I always will use the correct foundation to cover up my hyperpigmentation and redness. When doing my makeup, I like to start with a primer to set base for the next product. This helps with a smooth transition for the foundation. I use Touch in Sol No Porblem primer if I am looking to smooth out my skin and texture. This primer is amazing at minimizing the appearance of my pores and fine lines. I apply a small amount to my fingers and focus most of the product in my t-zone. You will instantly see a difference, it is almost like a filter on your face. I will warn oily skin types this primer contains silicone which can be clogging for your pores, so I would recommend sticking to a water based primer such as the Milk Makeup Hydrogrip primer which is Silicone and oil free. When applying foundation, to solve my redness concern I will use a full coverage foundation such as Huda Beauty Faux Filter foundation. You only need one pump for your whole face. It will cover your redness and scaring with a little amount. I will use a beauty blender to apply so it's evenly dispersed. This foundation leaves your skin with a natural beautiful finish. This foundation also lasts all day long leaving your skin flawless and smooth for hours. Sometimes my redness will peak through with certain foundations but with this one it does not. If you have dry skin, look for a hydrating primer or foundation with ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid or vitamin E. Vitamin E is also great for scars and uneven tones. For sensitive skin types look for ingredients in your products such as aloe or green tea extract. I love the combination of these two products together to target my larger pores and scars. They layer on top of each other so well and help me achieve the flawless base I look for, while helping with my skincare goals.

Liquid or solid eyeliner 🧐
I would like to introduce two types of Eyeliner products, one is solid 24 / 7 Eyeliner of urban decay, and the other is liquid eyeliner of MAC. Let's first talk about UD. For reference, my eye skin is very oily, so I pay special attention to waterproof capacity. The product has proved that half a day is ok, but it's almost gone in the afternoon. As for color, the biggest advantage is that the color choice is more. It's definitely a good choice for girls who love collecting eyeliners. I am reviewing the purple one with shining. In fact, it doesn’t look very different from black. There is no problem in daily use. The biggest drawback of this kind of eyeliner is that it needs to buy a pencil sharpener separately. If you don't sharpen after one-time use, the eyeliner pencil will become flat and hard to apply. So every time I use an eyeliner, I need to sharpen my pencil once. URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil I have tried many eyeliners in the past. Like the above mentioned pencil. This MAC is unlike any of my usual eyeliner, the texture is liquid. The color is deep dark black, especially suitable for exaggerated dramatic makeup. It does not smudge or disappear and stays black all day. However, the liquid eyeliner is not friendly to the freshmen, because it has high-noticeable color. Even you apply to your eyes very gently, there will be very clear. You cannot make any mistakes and lightly hand shaking. MAC - Liquid Eye Liner Overall，I don’t recommend UD 24/7, one reason is too frequently to use the pencil shaper. one is not friendly to the oily skin. And the refill is too soft. It is easy to break if you use a little more strength on the product.

Harley-Quinn inspired Halloween makeup 🖤
I wasn’t a big fan of birds of preys story, but the costume design (and set design) in that movie was absolutely amazing and I really loved harleys makeup in it. I was gonna be Edward scissorhands for haloween but that didn’t work because I am going to help with a carnival for haloween and I’d need to use my hands to do that.
