How to choose the best lace for your skin？
For the beginner in the world of lace front wig, there can be a lot of confusion in choosing a lace front wig. For example, how to select the lace color, length, texture of the hair. I'm going to talk about all you need to know about the natural hair wig. Swiss Lace Vs French Lace, Which One Is Better? Swiss lace blends better with the skin for a less visible appearance than French lace. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable. Usually Swiss lace is used at the front hairline and crown of the lace wigs, and French lace is used for the rest of the lace wigs. This helps increase durability. How To Choose Right Lace Color? You need to match the lace color with your scalp complexion not your skin tone. So to check your scalp color part your hair and look at the color of your scalp to determine your lace color. Transparent Lace Wig: Ideal for women who have creamy and fair complexions. Light Brown Lace Wig: For light brown skin scalp tones, blends with most complexions. Brown Lace Wig: For darker skin scalp tones. Please note: transparent lace is not recommended for brown skin tones and will look ashy against the skin as it only blends perfectly if you are of a fairer complexion. In the same way that brown lace blends perfectly with brown skin tones and doesn't blend well if you are white or fair skinned.
Nighttime and Shower Hair Care ✨
💛 This post will be all about how I care for my hair at night and while showering. I was not the best at “preserving” my curls before going to bed, and because of that I noticed my hair would be much frizzier within a couple days of washing. However, this year, I decided to invest into a bonnet to help keep my curls intact and prevent less frizz and breakage through the night. Not only that, but I also use a shower cap during my showers to prevent the humidity from causing more frizziness to my curls. 👩🏽🦱 ✨These methods plus my go-to pineapple bun has proven to truly help my hair maintain health. I’ve noticed less breakage, frizz, and softer hair. I hope this quick little video helps with those seeking more methods to care for their curls/coils. Products: evolve - Satin Wide Edge Bonnet Because I do have a lot of hair, a bigger bonnet works perfectly for me because it holds ALL of my curls without any issues. I also have less issues with my bonnet coming off at night; i sometimes have to reposition it throughout the night but that rarely happens and I usually wake up with my bonnet still in place. CONAIR - Conair Shower Cap TBH any shower cap will be fine, as long as you are keep your hair from getting wet in the shower. I grabbed this one at my local Target recently but Forever 21 also has some with super cure prints if your looking for something a bit more festive! Other little tricks I use is to spritz my hair with a leave-in conditioner to add back some moisture to my hair if it’s getting too dry. My current favorite is the INNERSENSE - Sweet Spirit Leave in Conditioner 💛 Let me know in the comments below how you protect and preserve your hair from damage!

Let's Do a Hair Mask!
One of my favorite ways to keep my curly hair happy is a weekly hair mask! I do it every Sunday and there's a few different ways I like to apply it. This Sunday I did it a little different - but it's still just as effective! Here's how I masked this Sunday: 1. I started by detangling, I didn't have any product in my hair so this step was pretty easy. I use a wet brush when detangling my dry hair because it's more gentle. 2. I applied my Camille Rose - Oud Rich Infusion Moisture Treatment it's super rich and creamy. It's great for detangling and redefining curl pattern. As I apply I brush the product through with my wet brush. I focus also am sure to apply to the ends of my hair which tend to be more dry! 3. Once I've finished applying my deep conditioner I then go in with an oil on my scalp and throughout the lengths of my hair. I used the Camille Rose - Nangai & Tsubaki Strength Restore Hair Oil on my scalp and the Camille Rose - Oud Rich Infusion Hair Oil through the lengths. Both of these are thick oils that really seal the hair mask into the hair. 4. Apply either cling wrap or a plastic shower cap - this will keep the heat from out head trapped inside, which allows the hair mask to penetrate into the hair shaft. 5. Apply your Hot Head Thermal Hair Care - Chic Hot Head this is a microwavable heat cap that will also helps the deep conditioner to penetrate further into the hair shaft. 6. Leave on the mask for at least 20 minutes, I like to leave it on for an hour or more! 7. Rinse out your mask and then you can either shampoo and condition like you normally would, or I like to use just a cleansing conditioner to add even more moisture! I used the Camille Rose - Rose Cleansing Milk it's smells amazing and helps the lengthen my curls.

Styling my naturally straight hair
My hair is naturally straight which can be nice at times but it also has a tendency to feel flat and lifeless! To prevent it from looking super boring, I start by washing it with the TRESemmé - 24 Hour Body Healthy Volume Shampoo . This shampoo gets my hair super clean but doesn’t strip the life from it! I usually skip the in-shower conditioners and opt for a leave-in to keep my hair feeling and looking healthy all day. I’ve been using the aussie - Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner . I really enjoy it because it doesn’t weigh my hair down! I can style it like normal and it just helps keep my hair (I spray mid shaft down to my roots) moisturized and not frizzy! Next I will usually let it air dry for a while and then run a hairdryer over it really quickly while brushing through it. This gets rid of any leftover frizz without needing to pull out a straightener! It looks fine just left down but to pull my hair out of my face I will grab a cute bobby pin and do a little twist and pin that in. Super easy, fast, and cute with very little effort lol

natural curls rock
If you haven’t heard already, there’s a TON of controversy right now surrounding DevaCurl products . 🙅🏽♀️ Women have been experiencing hair loss and damage from many of their products after using it for a long period of time. I personally never used their products because it made my hair dry, but have you experienced any negative side effects from this brand?
At home hair treatment! 💆🏽♀️
✨ If you’re like me, then you’re probably a little sad that most hair salons are closed due to the pandemic. It’s around this time each year that I go in for a curly trim, and hair treatment. But since I am unable to book an appointment with my stylist, I’m trying to take care of my hair in the best way possible to ensure optimal health of my curls. 💇🏽♀️ One of the things I making sure to do is deep conditioning treatments. Let me walk you through a quick step-by-step on how I make this treatment a bit more intense while at home. 🧚🏽 1. Wash your hair like normal; if I’m deep conditioning, I take advantage of that wash day and try to clarify my hair and scalp. 🧖🏻♀️ 2. Add deep conditioning mask/treatment to your hair, starting from your roots going up. Pin your hair into a bun. PACIfICA - Pineapple Hydrate Curl Nourishing Mask 3. Pop on a clear shower cap over your head. #KINGLAKE - Clear Disposable Plastic Shower Caps[products]#[FiveStars] 4. DO NOT RINSE OUR YET! ⚠️ continue your shower as normal. 5. Place regular shower cap on top, once you’re out of the shower. This will allow your natural body heat to warm up your hair/head and the caps will keep the heat trapped in. If you want a more intense heating process, you can use a blow dryer to increase heating process. CONAIR - Printed Shower Cap With Microban 6. Leave on for 35-45mins and then rinse. 7. Style as usual 💛 What’s your current favorite at-home treatments? 💆🏽♀️ #CheriePartner ‼️ I know the disposable shower caps aren’t the best for the environment; would love to know if anyone recommends alternatives 🌟

before and after from my hair cut and style
This is the before and after from my hair cut and style by nubiarezo. I didn’t get any footage from the cut itself but I wanted to show the transformation ✨••✨ The before clip is my hair with absolutely NO product or styling at all. Nubia is amazing and I definitely recommend any curly girl so see her for your next cut! She was able to tell me exactly where the damage was and showed me a new way to apply product, which I’ll be sharing with you guys!
