Easy vintage nail art reminds me of Baroque Period. 🦋✨
Beauty lover, nail art lover, vintage lover… These are the best labels to define me! Beauty can not only embellish my life, smooth my mood, but also drive me to think deeply. “What does beauty mean exactly?” I have been asking myself for countless times. However, always no answer. Therefore, I dive into beauty to find the truth and truth self. I got inspiration from the Baroque Period recently in the book I’m reading: History of Beauty. I just decorated my nail fingers with a butterfly nail sticker and two small Baroque pearls, and then magic happens. Several fragments of the Baroque Period flashback in my mind!🦋✨ First nail design post on Cherie, feel excited! If you are a nail art lover, plz share your opinions with me in the comment section. You will INSPIRE me!

How to apply liquid glass nail polish at home💅🏻 Gel nails tutorial
Tools required for a successful gel manicure First, you need to get a UV nail lamp to dry the nail polish. Then we will need the following items: For nail care: nail clippers, nail file, cuticle stick For nail art: base coat, colored gel polish, topcoat, wipes and rubbing alcohol 4 steps of a gel manicure 1. Take care of your nails and cuticles Cut and file the nails to give them the desired length and shape. Moisturize the cuticle and clean them with a cuticle stick. 2. Apply gel polish We start by applying the primer, a base coat, to the nails, and then dry with the UV lamp to harden the gel. Then apply two coats of liquid gel polish and dry between each application. If you want to get shinny finished nails, you can mix some radium glitter powder into the gel polish. 3. Apply top coat We finish with the topcoat and dry the nails one last time under the UV lamp. 4. Finish with a cotton pad soaked in alcohol After the polish is applied and dried, use a cotton ball soaked with rubbing alcohol to remove the polish's sticky texture and get beautiful shiny liquid glass nails!
Modified Curly Girl Method | Frizzy Hair to Perfect Wavy Hair
My hair type: fine, high-density 2a-c waves The Curly Girl method is an approach of washing and styling wavy and curly hair to achieve softer, more defined, and healthier curls and waves. It is useful for anyone with wavy and curly hair. I was determined to try CGM since last July after seeing lots of successful cases. I tried different lines, types of products, styling methods, and techniques, finally figured out what worked for my hair. Modified CGM for my wavy hair 1. Rinse or co-wash with a sulfate-free shampoo. 2. Use a silicone-free conditioner for conditioning, then use a leave-in conditioner. 3. Apply a silicone-free styling product to wet hair to promote curl formation. 4. Use a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt to remove water from the hair. 5. Do not touch your hair, let it dry into a hard cast. 6. Scrunch out the cast, allow the curls to sit in their defined natural state. Basic rules of CGM No sulfates No drying alcohols No silicones No heat styling Share my CGM with you, but I definitely know different hair may have various concerns, so I hope it would be helpful for you.

a lot of product for a LOW price 🤑
OKAY curly girls of cherie. Let me put you on to Mielle if you haven’t heard of them already. Disclaimer: I have not tried everything YET. But wanted to get this in front of you so we can compare notes. ➿➿I have 3a/b curlzzzzz ➿➿ If you are really looking for some deep moisture this Hawaiian Ginger line is for YOU. The shampoo is a bit difficult to pump out, and you need to use kind of a lot of it to get some good suds (if you’re into that) 🧼 but overall it’s pretty nice. I thought it would be more fragrant but it’s not! It’s kind of like a calming ginger tea 🫖 MIELLE - Moisture RX Hawaiian Ginger Moisturizing & Anti-Breakage Shampoo The conditioner is definitely THICC. Had to take a few pumps then comb it through sections of my hair in the shower. Left it in and after a few mins I rinsed it out..it felt pretty smooth. MIELLE - Moisture RX Hawaiian Ginger Moisturizing & Anti-Breakage Conditioner Okay here is where it gets a little tricky for me. I have very fine hair. And it needs moisture but if I go overboard it just doesn’t sit right when I dry it. So when using the leave in conditioner, I think I overdid it and left a lil too much in. I normally use the Ouidad - Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream after I wash/condition and it is perfect when I diffuse afterwards bc it’s so light. But mistakes were made on my part bc it did not look cute when I diffused it dry. MIELLE - Moisture RX Hawaiian Ginger Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner I only used a bit of the MIELLE - Moisture RX Hawaiian Ginger Moisturizing Styling Gel after the leave in and before diffusing and it was OK but I think I had too much leave in for it to do anything cute for me. Overall, I think it is worth another shot! There is seriously a TON of product here for a really great affordable price. I would say it’s only a bit smaller than Pattern Beauty but I would take Mielle over Pattern any day for the fragrance alone (Sorry Auntie Tracee) — I really hate strong fragrance in my hair products!! I def want to try the overnight conditioner and wash in the AM then use my regular products to style to see if I can still maintain the hydration from the night before, without it weighing my curls down when they’re dry. We’ll see how it goes!!!

Thank you! 2k Followers & Cherie’s 1st Birthday
2000 followers! We did it. This was my year-end goal and hitting it early, on the first birthday anniversary of @cheriefelt very appropriate. I want to say thank you to each and every person who follows me, I truly love interacting with you all and appreciate all of your support. This platform has given me something to look forward to when 2020 was at its absolute bleakest, and I can’t wait to create more content for you all. To commemorate the first anniversary of the app, they sent me a lovely merch box. The water bottle and hat are very thoughtful and skin-forward, as sun protection and hydration are key for collagen protection and healthy skin. As for the sweater, it’s super cozy and I can’t wait to cuddle up in it after my nighttime skincare routine or for early morning errands. I look forward to posting more genuine reviews and content for you all ✨ As always, let me know if there is something you want me to review or post!
This cream is BANANAS 🍌
I have been LOVING the @glowrecipe Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. It has a light and creamy texture, just like banana pudding. It has a soft banana scent that dissipates as soon as you rub it in. The star ingredients of this cream are banana (of course), magnesium, centella asiatica, chia seed, turmeric, and squalane. Together, these help to soothe, moisturize, and balance the skin, while maintaining the health of the moisture barrier. I have been using this as my day cream every day since I got it. What I love about it is that it is incredibly moisturizing, while being extremely lightweight. I have been searching for something like this as a day cream. I find I need to add an oil to most of them for my skin to stay hydrated, but I don’t need to with this one. It is also very soothing! So much so that I definitely notice a colour correcting effect as it calms my redness. Safe to say that I’m going bananas for this one! 🍌 Have you tried banana in your skincare? What are some of your favourite fruit extracts? GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream

✨Dual Layer Face Oil✨ 💙$38 per bottle, that’s a pretty standard rate for a face oil. If you don’t have face oil in your routine, this is a great starter option. The water bank line is know for its ability to hydrate and keep hydrating. ✨Dual because it has two layers, one is the hydro ionized mineral water. The other layer contains facial oils that protect and hydrate such as fatty acids, vitamin e and maracuja seed oil. The two layers are noticeable so make sure you shake it well prior to use. 💙This oil is fast absorbing, which is interesting. I’m not going to lie it took me a while to get use to it. I’m use to facial oils still resting on the top of my skin as well as absorbing but this one goes straight in with minimal residue. It’s kind of nice. It comes after your essence but before your moisturizer, and gently pat it into the skin. ✨This oil leaves my skin feeling hydrating without feeling saturated, so it’s great for those days I wear make up because it doesn’t make my make up slide off. However, it doesn’t help my visible redness much which is a key concern for me so I tend to like the Herbivore Lapis Oil more for my skin type. 💙That being said if you have no issues with redness, this could be your night in shining armor face oil.
